Yes. Also, now that I've finally gotten the CS2 event, it seems that sage mode would be programmable, what with the counter on it.

No, I now know how the CS2 event works. Because it takes a specific number of ___ before activation, then having to visit the toad sage multiple times would be similar in nature.

In all my years of playing I have never obtained the CS2, but I recently heard that CS1 was better anyways. Is that true?

CS2 is an addition to CS1. While CS1 is powerful, why would an addition make it weaker?
