Well if we really want to do something about it, you'd have to start by doing one of two options.
A. If an enemies AI creates a buff, do something that will execute a line of code, which will remove that buff when the creature dies.
Now this would just be a pain in the butt to do
B. Change all the creatures AIs to just run lines of code, instead of applying a buff, unless it was something like poison.
