You have to take the natural log of the indeterminate form before you can do L'Hopital, right?

Or am I getting it mixed up with something else?

L'Hopital only works when the ind. is 0/0 or infinity/infinity. If it's one of the other forms like 0 x infinity or 1^infinity, etc., then you set it equal to y, take the natural log of both sides to get it into 0/0 or infinity/infinity, THEN L'Hopital it, and then raise e to your answer.
