a moderator represents the site the moment he/she talks about offensive actions - trolling is not nice in commonsense. I don't mind it in the forum spam.

But the action was: Made another char to get around the mute, and go on with the action.
That would be "circumventing the punishment". And "repeatable offence".

You might justify your actions, but  simply try to go around the decisions is not smart at all.

If you are not fond of actions from one moderator, petition / PM me and I will check it as second instance in detail.

Publically trying to justify it is somewhat unfair, as it would be 3-to-1 bashing =)

My understanding was that the second account was made solely due to the fact that Lebby's main died in the forest and therefore could not post in Water Country. Circumvention of rules would be a punishable offense, but I don't think that's the case. The only case is that they were muted for having a conversation in a public area.

If this is what actually happened then the ban would be justifiable. However as the case maybe Lebis made an alt not to get around a ban, but rather so that she could keep talking to her friend in Kiri after she both  died and lost in the graveyard. There is nothing against that in the rules, RoA, etc.. Especially since alts are fairly encouraged on SL. Heck I've even done the same thing myself at times. Granted that the two could have just continued their conversation in PMs, but the village squares are a public place and they have just as much right to hang around and talk there as anyone else does.

Yeah... it was pretty late at night and there was nobody else around even posting in the village square at all. They were just having a conversation (it was silly, but not offensive) and then the others just popped out of seemingly nowhere wanting to report them. I also personally think that if they were on their mains they would not have been so quickly threatened to be muted by the other non-mods.

As everyone had already stated, it wasn't to get around any kind of reprimand or censure. It was the sole purpose to carry on with a conversation. It's not so much the threats that bother me. It's the fact that the issue is still alive and hasn't been taken care of after being called mundane. That's pretty much, hey! Look at me! I think you all are idiots and I'm not going to do my job that I just got because that'd be wasting my time!

Albeit at 2am when he was still on the site a good while after throwing around threats. Not really threats, actions that he already claimed to have done. None of the 4 characters were touched. Not Lebis, Shin, Nyris, or TheShinobi.
