Pikachu's speed is pretty epic though. Nearly triple digits and he's only lvl 33.

Crobat is the 9th fastest (5th fastest nonlegendary) Pokemon with a base speed of 130 while Pikachu is the 95th fastest Pokemon with a base speed of 90.

Raichu is 45th with a base speed of 100.

The anime makes a big deal about Pikachu being faster than Surge's Raichu, but that's just bulls***. The only case I know where evolutions slow down is Yanma to Yanmega.

And Crobat was once hit with two Scary Faces by a Mightyena once and still hit first. Scary Face takes two stages away so -4 stages equates to one-third of regular speed. So I was three times faster than it at the same level. >_>

Asackly. Its Attack isn't bad, either. 90 base compared to Raichu's abysmal 55 defense.

Speaking of which, I got a Raichu.

Lvl 41 now. Still have all the trainers along the way to Cinnabar to kill and train from too.

Fionna is lvl 24 now. I'm waiting til she's 25 to evolve her. I dunno why. I just kept pressing B.

Rocco almost died from a Hi Jump Kick, but my gameboy shut off from low battery before it hit 0, so I was like "HA!". Oh, right, I swapped Ice out for Rocco since I like Rocco more, and actually use him in real battle and not just over powered opponents who don't inflict much damage against it's epic defense anyways.

I need to change Rocco's name to Rocky. I just noticed it's a girl, not a guy. I don't know how I missed that.

Magikarps that evolve later are incredibly weak. It gives them less levels to get their stats up. You've wasted about 5-10 points per stat already.

And that's bulls***. >_> If you were a real man you'd go back into that match and allow him to die like he should. So you won't need to change the name.

I did go back.

Hit it with a Magnitude 10, and then my Dumbledore finished it off with Twister. It was a doubles battle against a brother sister duo with Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Dumbledore and Rocco were first in my party, and they won. Rocco almost died again, but Dumbledore saved it with Dragon Rage.
