I can't honestly see Sakura dying.
I became quite fond of the attitude of her being the medic nin and the fact she can actually pack a punch.


...and I can't see him being alone as he still has the restoration of the Uchiha clan in play. He's a blank canvas as Itachi's stated, but he was driven far over the edge...

I really can see SasuSaku at the end for clan restoration ;

I meant more along the lines of with the prophecy between Kyuubi, and Madara.
Sasuke had lost it over what Madara stated after letting it sink in. After receiving Itachi's eyes, and getting into a battle with Konoha, Naruto is pushed over the edge and Kyuubi is released. Since the prophecy was the uchiha was the one to seal away Kyuubi, Sasuke will be the one to end up sealing it away with the last ounce of his vision. He will go blind in the end, and madara will be finished off by Naruto.

Sasuke will be brought home, but he will be blind for the rest of his life. Sakura will be his caretaker >_>

Well Naruto did say that if him and Sasuke fought they would both die.  And I don't know, I think if the Kyuubi gets released, then Madara will capture it, and we might get a chance to see the ten tails.  Then Sasuke might realize there are more important things of concern then destroying Konoha and realize he has to fight Madara too.

Oh and I think Orochimaru will eventually turn his attention to killing Madara as well.

Orochimaru summons Itachi, several past Kages, Nagato, past Jinchuriki, Kimimaro, etc....  Without him, the war would be Madara and Zetsu vs everyone else.  That's what I meant.

I agree, Kabuto does kick soupers.  He beat up Tsunade pretty good.  Kabuto Oro fusion is good though.  Orochimaru was coughing up blood and screaming in pain most of the time in his old body.
