I'm impartial, but I liked 2 so I'll get it. Mainly one of my friends has played all of the games and wants me to get it since he refuses to buy a 3DS.

I'm waiting on #3. Although even when it is finally released, I wouldn't purchase it. Because I can't remember where I planted that money-growing tree of mine.

This one is going to be worth it. This installment is akin to an actual numbered title, so you can expect the actual storyline to progress. I myself have played each and every single KH game. It is my favorite series. I don't comprehend why people gripe about KH 3 not coming out yet. I mean, if the other games didn't come out, we would not know who Xion is, or who Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are. We could not possibly know who the main antagonist is. Every title that has been produced is vital.

I've watched the entire play-through in Japanese (only on Youtube, it was subbed), hence I can say without a whole deal of doubt, that I'd love to see KH3 released sooner or later.

Axel, who decided to go by his original name (Lea) teams up with the keyblade heroes, and at what's-his-face's tower, what's-his-face talks about yet another keyblade war (or something along those lines), and then Kairi enters the scene. Prelude to KH3.

Anyway, I feel like KH3 will be almost pointless do fans that aren't die-heart fans. Simply because they've had important events take place in both a PSP title and now 3DS(which requires lots of money). So to me, it just seems like they're trying to get as much money out of people as possible.

Square Enix seems to have high hopes in the KH-industry, opposed to FF, where there are still a couple of games in development, with a couple released last year receiving rather heavy criticism. Not to mention that if FF1 weren't a success when it was released, there would be no FF-series, and hence, probably no KH titles either.

Well Squaresoft did FF, Enix did DQ so if FF had failed then there could have been KH still, but with DQ characters. KH makes its main selling point off of disney anyway.

Enix only really managed to hold up 'till the present because of FF. Not to mention if there was a KH influenced by DQ, the characters would look well, pretty hideous.

Well, I wouldn't want to see DBZ style art in every game that I play either since we already have the Dragon Quest series, tons of Dragon Ball Z games, Chrono Trigger and a bunch of spin-off games based on DQ characters/mobs.
