It wouldn't be fun if all the details of the new mounts are already posted here...

The real problem about creating new mounts is variety. Otherwise it will just be another mount will slightly different bonuses and dmg calculation.

What else can be done besides setting mount to attack or heal, how much atk/def (etc) buff the player gets, the cost (purchase & maintain)?

Unlike the mobs in the forest, you can't enter codes that would give mounts special attacks/actions, correct?

(silly) Zenaku, while I posted things in different orders, I was regarding to requirements needed for the mount to appear. The list is probably not the best worded, but my jokes don't tend to be.

Balancing is also an issue.

I can imagine a few mount ideas. =) More mounts that (if you have a certain specialty like fire+gamabunta) offer new / different jutsus to perform.
Toad+Sage Path is currently not working together, but should be.

There might also be a mount to dramatically increase travels (Sky Dragon or so). And does not really help with fighting.

I think about the different play-styles and what a mount could offer.

Good ideas for mounts, I can come up with. Good eye for mount avatars, I have. But power-balancing, I suck at.
