I might be able to think up some events like that.
Only problem is trying to figure out what you can/can not do on these kind of games ^.^

I know. It's hard =) some things look easy but are not good for performance or not possible. some things seem hard, but in fact are easy...
it takes some programming knowledge to know =) but basically, think of ideas and where it should happen.
bad: village, newday, forest
good: gardens, rock, gypsy, other modules/other events
and then start to think. see potion peddler. I can do many stuff with items.
personally I thought of an egg-hunt with a unque "egg" that can be found by only a player a day
and is stolen from him if he is defeated in pvp.... or after 3 gamedays (else only the strongest will keep it forever).
also, there could be a hidden forest in one event, and then the key(item) needs to be found first in order to get in...
this is merely a SMALL thing you can do with items...
on another server, you find eggs in the woods. and then you wait 20 gamedays... and a new mount comes out after visiting merrick. (they have eagle etc as mounts in a category).
compare to events we now have, you'll find plenty interesting ideas.
