I don't know what argument I had started. If you were even paying attention at all you'd know that I wanted to know if Genjustu would work on an unconscious person but hey, maybe Bocch will give you a high five for trying.

Since I've already gotten some answers it is safe to assume this topic can be locked now? Well if anyone has any good opinions they are welcome to post them here.

Yeah and then literally everyone told you that yes it would, except Trev said as a judge he'd decide against it without manga proof. You then went,

"It really doesn't matter anymore so.. I was right?"

Lending credence to Sabu's theory that you're ignoring everything that doesn't support you.

And so an irrelevant argument would probably start right now but since I'm in such a good mood. I don't care. It was obviously a joke, not that it'd matter since this wouldn't affect you in any way at all.

This was a simple question. Please tell me what this "argument" is about then? You're seriously getting mad for no reason, if you want to be the winner cool. Even though this topic is about a question which held my curiosity.

Can't lock this without putting my two cents in on this.

Can Genjutsu effect an unconscious person? Yes and no.

Sharingan-related would have no effect since you need direct eye contact, an unconscious person would have their pupils roll into the back of their head; I mean you can force it upon them but this would be only irritating on their eye and would likely just wake them from unconsciousness.

Other non-visual based Genjutsu would work since it manipulates the brain-wave patterns of that individual and give them a false encounter/dream based upon the the one whom cast the Genjutsu; if you need proof, just check the Genjustu that was used against Rin when she was captured by Iwagakure shinobis.

Now this may be locked.  ;)
