Ichirou's Byakugan was keen, and took in everything from the forming of Athos's sharingan to the landing spot of Trev's Kunai, as well as his five seals. Hoping he had interpreted Kage's barrier properly and it was just in front of them, he would burst backward out of the range of the four pillars as they sprouted. Being familiar with the technique himself, as he burst backward he weaved his own set of seals, two to be exact. Taking little to no time at all. As he traveled 20 feet back from Amekage, who Ichirou expected should be more than able to handle himself, he placed his hands to the ground (80ft from Athos/trev, 20 from Kage). Activating his own technique.

Doton: Yomi Numa - Earth Release: Swamp of the underworld.

As the two had not separated, they were still a rough 50 feet between one another. Ichirou would activate his technique, which would spread from a rough 25 foot mark between the two of them, and rapidly spread to either side, ending at about 100 feet in either direction. Though Ichirou was not quite certain, he though that Trev's kunai might also be caught within the grasps of this technique, though unsure he was. The swamp was a good 15 feet down, deep enough to swallow the two whole, The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it difficult to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. As the swamp would form the two would begin to sink down, as if they were sinking into chakra infused quick-sand. Though in this case it would be quick-mud.

Certainly took notice of the actions transpiring, including the throwing of the kunai and his partner moving away from the area. The rising pillars were some trouble, as he was familiar with the Four Pillar Bind himself. Though Kage would remain stationary and would spawn his Susanoo's golden rib-cage around himself, to block the lightning strikes which would come after the pillars had fully ascended. And during the continuous lighting strikes, the skeletal arms and head of his Susanoo would also spawn. Then came the actions behind bringing fourth the four arms that had spawned, as all would chop horizontally at the pillars around himself to destroy the sources of the lightning strikes.

As for the Natural Energy gathering, Kage already had enough pretty quickly to flicker into his Sage Mode, as a master practitioner would. But as a safe measure, he would continue to gather, store and mold natural energy with his physical and spiritual energies, in-case he would have to stay within it for a prolonged period of time.

For some odd reason, everyone seemed to be throwing down right off the bat. Things escalated quickly but, Athos being a master just as Kage was, was also able to enter his own Sage Mode. Black lines, which formed elegant and intricate markings upon the corners Athos' eyes, would mark his entrance into Sage Mode. As for the mud that would suddenly be taking form beneath him, there was a simple counter to that. Chakra seemed to solidify beneath Athos' feet, as it is a skill that he possesses. It would stop him from being sucked into the mud but being so close to his also didn't make him feel any safer. So, he would press off the platform and be off in a mad dash. Athos, seemingly, was running on air at an angle towards Ichirou. By making the platforms beneath his feet at each step, he effectively would come closing in on Ichirou's position quickly, all while still gathering Sage Mode on the move. He didn't have an implant, so he didn't get to suck in Natural Energy like a powerhouse but he could still draw it into his body while he was moving, so that's what he'd do.

As he came close to Ichirou, towards his left side, lightning surged in his right hand and left hand as he prepared his neck move. Lightning condensed itself upon each of his fingers, this being an easy task thanks to his mastery of lightning release, and then he'd launch himself higher into the air. With a jump, he'd swing his arms across his chest like an 'x' while releasing the built of Raiton. Each strike of lightning that broke off from his hand would take the form of a beast, making it a total of Eight whole beasts. These beasts aimed to converge upon Ichirou and to chase after him if he attempted to run. One of these beasts were strong enough to send a person flying and to singe their skin with burns upon contact, as well as messing with the feeling of their nervous system. These aimed to ram into Ichirou and, had more than one found itself ramming into his chest, he'd find that his heart would begin to beat irregularly from the Raiton coursing through his body, hopefully stopping him from physically moving and fighting.

Saw his attack fail miserably, and better yet be countered with his least favorite jutsu. The Yondaime would feel the mud start to suck him in, and had but a second to react. The swamp was 100 feet in length total (confirmed via pm) and he stood 50ft away from Athos. Considering the swamp targeted both, there was half the swamp right there. Assuming the swamp was equal for both participants, this meant that there was another 25 ft of swamp to the left of him and right of Athos to total 100. Considering the Yondaime chucked his kunai 65 ft, this left him with 40 ft of normal land. Even if the swamp was made unevenly on his side, going another 25 ft, his kunai would at minimum be 15ft away from the mud.

Thus once he was stuck in the mud, the Yondaime disappeared in a black flash, using hiraishin to reappear by his kunai and not in the mud. Once firmly in place, the Yondaime utilized the natural energy inside him, as a red glow overtook his body, bringing him into Sage Transformation and full of senjutsu. The process took but a few seconds, and once he emerged in his grey skin, which was full of booster like appendages, he formulated kata. While quickly going through the kata, his eyes shifted to their Eternal Mangekyo state, as he firmly held his last kata, waiting.

Ichirou remained vigilant as his opponents began to make their moves, He took note of the Edo's usage of the Hiraishin, and cursed under his breath at the difficulty this would bring, however he had the oncoming Athos to worry about. However he had a plan to move for both his opponents, as he stood to his feet, he too burst into his sage mode, Dark outlines formed around his eyes and three lines emerged from the beard on his face, each line was longer than the last, with the shortest being the closest to his mouth, and the longest reaching up and over the bridge of his nose, as he did this, he would release from his right hand the chakra that had been stored within it earlier. If one took detailed notice of his hand, they would notice a hand within his palm, from within would slither forth a dragon like creature, quickly, as it emerged from his hand it would burst into a poof of smoke, and emerge from the cloud at 10 feet from head to tail, with a 5 foot wing span. The dragon flew quickly toward the Edo, it's design being rather Aerodynamic, to assist in dodging any attempts his opponent would make to strike the attack down. However if his opponent was successful in striking the beast down, it would detonate in a twenty foot explosion. Courtesy of Ichirou's Bakuton. However his usage of Bakuton extended only to his Iwagakure Kinjutsu, he had no other form of utilizing the Explosive release. The dragon would flank wide right, but with quick intention. Moving around to avoid the Amekage should it be detonated prematurely. However this technique was loaded before Ichirou's activation of his Sage mode, and thus was not loaded with Senjutsu chakra. As Athos lashed out at his with his Raiton X, Ichirou was quick to weave five Kata, and exhale sharply as he activated his technique

Fūton: Daitoppa - Wind Release: Great Breakthrough

This would release a intense burst of Wind, strong enough to dispel his opponents Raiton as well as push him up and away from Ichirou further. To most opponents this technique would provide a nice bit of concussive damage, as when utilized by a strong enough Shinobi the technique bore the force to Unearth large trees, and amplified with Senjutsu chakra only made it stronger, but he was aware of the Uzumaki's leader Ultimate shield. And assumed that he would take little physical damage from this technique because of that..

Athos couldn't help but feel a bit undertaken by the attack that was launched at both him and his teammate. Of course, as the large white clay beast took off away from Ichirou, Athos already knew what it's origins were. Two of the eight lightning beasts that charged towards Ichirou redirected their course and aimed to drive themselves into the side of the clay dragon. With their closeness and the dragon not fully able to take into the sky to take advantage of it's ability to weave and dodge through the air, the lightning beasts aimed to disarm the dragon and erase it as a potential threat.

Just as Ichirou assumed, Athos had the strongest shield, so that any incoming attacks would fail to do any damage... Period, despite their strength. But the man was also in Sage Mode and, on a normal day, Athos was able to shatter the strongest Kaguya's bones with ease but now he was powered jacked, with Senjutsu and all. So, with the help of his Mind's Eye, plus his normal eyes, he saw Ichirou's incoming attack and had a determined counter for it almost instantly. As he pushed off the last platform he made beneath his foot, his speed would soon be more than that of Ichirou's, seeing as Athos' speed was far greater than that of one who trained under the Lotus Gates. His body would twist suddenly as he redirected all his momentum and strength into his lower body, but more so his right side. His right foot aimed to come down in an ax-kick that aimed to connect directly with the Sage Powered winds with more than enough strength to cause the attack to disperse and fail to do anything to Athos, allowing him to continue on to Ichirou.

With that being said, the distance between Ichirou and him was now closed and the ax kick doubled as his defense and attack against Ichirou. As he came down, it initially seemed that the strong blow aimed to crash violently onto the skull of Ichirou, with enough force behind it to cause the skull to shatter and the brain to almost instantly be turned to mush. If this attack landed on his head, it'd be all over for the man... But that wasn't Athos' goal. With the way Athos came down, it'd be almost perfect to slam against Ichirou but, hoping to fool him, Athos' foot would actually come to miss him by a few inches and would aim to crash into the ground beneath Ichirou. As this attack came crashing against the earth, unless somehow stopped, the ground would roar in protest but could do nothing about the violation it'd have to put up with. The immediate area around them, roughly 25 or so feet around Athos was instantly broken and turned into small pebbles, the destruction being monstrous. 15 feet outside of the initial radius is where it lightened up but the ground still shot up in large shards and became disheveled in more than one way. Trying to run within this initial 40 feet or so would be impossible, at least not without putting all your attention on walking and, of course, if Ichirou attempted to run or move out the way of the initial attack, he'd find himself with his balance ripped from him painfully and everything going crazy.

As his right heel dug into the ground, right after initial contact, Athos already changed it's purpose and was using it to push himself forward suddenly, with his right hand cocked back and balled in a fist. Even with the Byakugan, seeing as it didn't help one interpret things like the Sharingan, Ichirou would probably find himself keeping up with Athos' raw and sudden speed. As he pressed into the ground to push forward, the ground shattered even further, in both radius and even extended the cracks on the ground a few feet further as his right fist aimed to connect with it's target. This punch aimed for Ichirou's stomach, enough force in this single punch to shatter each of his ribs with ease, cause slight internal damage, and, obviously, to send him flying backwards like a rocket across the ground. This was all done within only a few seconds, if that, hoping to fully catch Ichirou off guard and to do some severe damage to him.

Kage all the while would be observing the actions of the others once he had properly defended himself from the lightning pillars. He wished that Ichirou would be a bit more careful with his clay dragon, as something like that exploding in their area would have created an opening for their opponents to attack them while trying to recover from such a disaster. One of the things he saw which was taken into consideration was the black flash of the former Otokage, and his reappearance by his kunai. This was possibly the same technique which Ichirou could use with the balls which both he and himself had within their pockets. More rather, it was because of the seals upon them. But the more troubling matter about the Otokage would be his change in appearance and the flow of Natural Energy that constantly motioned towards him. But he would leave him be for now.

His Susanoo would disappear, and his body would flash aflame in a golden coat over himself, signifying his change of state into his own Sage Mode. Due to this, his eyes would be in their Eternal state as well. His visual prowess was dramatically increased, and he would use this to easily follow the movements  that the Uzumaki opponent had made: combating the earth-based clay dragon with lightning, and had pursuing Ichirou into a close-combat situation. The opponent's main target was Ichirou, so he would be priority number one for them. The clash into the ground would be the most troubling part about Ichirou being in this situation, as it exampled the opponent's physical strength. And judging by his movements and position, his next movements were similar to delivering a punch with his right fist to the now-enclosed Ichirou.

Using his Lightning Body Flicker Technique, Kage would seemingly disappear within a flash of blue and gold, while the Shakujō he had been holding would drop to the ground where he once was (this would also dispel the barrier which was being formed). He would appear to Ichirou's left, which would be the Uzumaki's right, with his own right arm between them bearing a formed fist while his legs would be apart in proper stance to help support himself. This would be hard to follow even for Doujutsu users, and even more-so when amplified by Senjutsu Chakra, making it nearly impossible. He would use his fist to counter and match with the oncoming one meant to hit Ichirou. The strength which he bore would also be noteworthy, as it should be more than enough. To gauge it easily, Kage's strength within this state would be the same as a Perfect Susanoo's, although super-compressed into humanoid form and amplified by three times, when going by standard Senjutsu Chakra-enhancing. Should the point-blank hit properly succeed, it should not only block the Uzumaki's fist, but would also send him flying back. How far of a distance is dependent on whether or not he could regain his composure and footing, or keep it, from the counterattack.
