And I don't really know if I want to get it, but I do want to know what this new 80 dollar destiny dlc is

$40 DLC. It's just an expansion like with WoW or any other MMORPG. Since Destiny is an MMORPG on console.

It adds classes, items, level increase and so on. Pretty normal stuff nothing fancy.
