Any hunters out there? Man do I love Deer Season!

Yes, I have to dress the kids in blaze orange to put them on the school bus in the morning, and yes there are idiots all over the roads rubbernecking out their windows trying to road hunt, but dang free meat is the best.

I got given half an 8 point today and just got done processing that into meal size packages, into the freezer she went! The crock pot is full, making Mongolian beef tonight the way it was meant to be enjoyed...

Venison substitute for the win!

Hmmm. >>; Free meat? Here we have to pay for tags at the least or be fined more than what the tags cost if caught without them. I myself don't go hunting, but I know a lot who do so I'm still knowledgeable and yes venison is delicious if cooked right. I enjoy it in jerky form the best though. ^-^

I've hunted wild boar, but das it. Never had venison hunted, just game jerky of it.
