So now that we actually have wiki staff (Myself, Yomi, and Hades, if you missed it). One of the things I've been asked to do is clean out the claims list of things that do not need to be on there. My ideas right now are to remove these.

I had claimed it awhile back but no one bothered to ask me if they wanted to be added to the list. It was generally assumed that I claimed it to hoard it to myself, which is not the case. As for the Kusanagi copy, well I haven't actually gotten around to pass it to someone else. I intended to do that when I involved myself in Rusaku's and Bocchiere RP in Kirgakure but I pointed out to Bocchi that progress would never actually start. Mind Awakening Pill should be generally a free claim for those whom are from Otogakure. Just a suggestion that I am putting out there.

Edit: I could always move some items that are listed for deletion under the free claims section. Meaning they would be free to claim under that subgroup that is given: Example, Wave Transmission Technique is claimable by those whom join Iwagakure and join the Explosion Corps.

Is it possible to back up the pages for the custom items? While some seem fairly mundane the page maker might come back to add abilities, history, ownership, etc. later on. Not to mention things like senbon launchers were likely claimed for reasons of uniqueness (I got a senbon launcher and nobody else got one) akin to the jutsu slingshots that are up and coming.

The Demonic Flute is not just a flute in the canon. It had a special link to the beasts in question. On SL sound users using flutes for stuff somewhat renders it null, but the canon creatures can likely only be summoned from the Demonic Flute.

The Mind Awakening Pill is absolutely crucial to unlocking Stage 2 of the canon cursed seal (of heaven). It also increases the power of the base form. Consider it a super mario mushroom, or even a care package in CoD (if you aren't careful it can and/or get you killed).

Cleaver Sword eh? Like the Thunder Blade it has the ability to store electricity (specifically Raiton from the user if I read right) indefinitely. It is slightly more than a giant folding sword, though that is a feature.

The Konoha CHakra Blade has enough special properties to it (can absorb chakra and be used to manipulate said chakra), why is it being removed? At best only Konoha shinobi should have it, or the person who claimed to have created it.

I noticed some of the pages have already been removed so it could be too late already, but I wanted to point out some of the qualities of some of these claimed items that might would lend credence to why they were claimed in the first place.

Removing them from Claimed List doesn't remove them of existence. More so removes the idea that only one and one only can exist of whatever is being claimed, when it most cases it is not true. Even for something such as Edo Tensei, there was a lesser knock off created. As with life, there will always be an original and a replica. At this point, everyone's a replica so why do we care so much about the original? I agree some things are rather unique and unless passed down you won't attain them but most of the Claimed List is laughable...

The stone swords are specifically from myobokuzan, can't really get em from anywhere else. I suppose its up to ones own opinion whether that's basis for being own claims or not though.

Yeah they don't actually do anything though. Anyone could claim to have gotten them from frogs or someone who knew them.

I suppose they could be taken down then, I'd just have to edit the page for em itself to reflect upon it...which'd mean yet another added to my list of to-do, geez.

I think that for a lot of these items that if a weapons/items page exists, and the claim is then placed on the character's bio, that is enough. Having the record of that item should remain for reference purposes when investigating a character. It is nice to have the description page for the item.

Once that is completed then it should be no problem to remove the entry from the claims list. A unique item though, that is canon, should remain to indicate that only one person actually has the official use of said item. If that person is now seriously inactive, I feel their name should remain on the list and the current possessor of the item added in bold face, as with the summons scrolls.
