Discussion: Who GM's a rogue Bijuu
« on: May 28, 2016, 04:24:34 AM »

This is a red letter item from the rough draft of rules.

So...in the event a summoner's control over a bijuu is severed, Who will RP the rogue bijuu?

some people think that to let the summoner do that is fine.

Some people think that it should be some impartial person, the match is already lost, and the RP just needs to be resolved.

do we need a rule?

Can this issue be left open ended for the participants to decide during their pre-match negotiations?

Is there another solution that might work out best?

Thoughts...

I feel like adding an explicit rule may be too much?

Some freedoms should be fine. As far i noticed, the participants are allowed to agree on terms of fighting, before the actual fight actually starts, correct?

If so, why not just make it an additional term, this way the participants may agree on it.

"If the Bijuu is rampant the Bijuu is rped by the sumoner"

Yes- Both parties agree on it, it is fine and goes on.

No- No agreement can be found, thus they agree on a third party and discuss who to choose.I think in this case a GM, should be consulted, for they are supposed to be neutral?

This way it would be decided before a mess starts. Maybe we can just state what the participants can agree on. Not as rules. But as Guidelines.

Yes, too lazy to engage my brain to think of an argument for another option.

Let the participants decide. I concur!

Just a notice then to all interested participants...come up with other options or this will be sent to vote soon promoting that the participants decide who GMs the rogue beast.

For a summoner to lose control of his/her beast, it should fall on the judge to control the beast.

Or bounce back and forth between the fighters. Though, that would ensue for both fighters to seamlessly attack themselves, summoner more, in the fight. And then if the summoner dies, and it's loose, then it falls on the judge to GM the rouge beast out and about in the real world with the challenger. Vice versa, the summoner is the first to attempt to regain control, through different means feeling the beast wouldn't fall for the same trick twice.

Kurama fell for the old sharingan eye trick 3 times, albeit, one of those times it was a rinne sharingan.
