Kage v Trev
« on: December 30, 2015, 03:27:46 PM »

My opponent has challenged me and acknowledged the following preferences below

Summoner: Kage Uchiha

Affiliation: Amegakure

Acquired: 10/2 by inheritance from Ichirou. Grace Period ends 10/9.

Battle Method: OOC Death-match

Preferred Outlet: Plains

Judge(s): TBD

Conditions:

- What happens in the OOC match stays in the OOC match. Losing of items, abilities, limbs, etc. is not carried to your IC circumstances. The same goes for gaining.

- You must have a biography/profile detailing what abilities and techniques you have, which includes your mastery in your abilities. Techniques used that are not listed in your profile will be voided. The same will go for notable skills and abilities not explained in your profile. Exceptions for this are General Skills, such as Tree Climbing Practice or Water Surface Walking Practice. Simple nature manipulation such as producing a small gust of wind to re-balance yourself or causing some water to flow into your mouth to drink is fine as well. Combining techniques on the fly, such as using a wind technique to empower a fire, is also exempt from this.

- Custom techniques must have articles or pages detailing them, enough to justify their usage. If they are too over-powered beyond the abilities of canon techniques or too character-controlling, they will be voided.

- Both parties are able to surrender whenever they wish during battle.

- Both parties (Or teams depending on the number of combatants) reserve the right to boot a Judge one time if they feel the judge is biased or unjust, and then discuss and select a new judge.

- All participants have up to 3 days (72 hours) to post. Failure to post within the time frame will be a loss. Real life situations that call for an extended leave of abscence beyond 3 days can be extended to 5 days (120 hours). Failure to post within the 5 days counts as a loss. In the event that the challenger loses by this, their challenge cool-down time will be reduced from the standard 3 months to 2 weeks.

- In the event of my own loss, the challenger shall agree to inherit my challenge list. Granted, the remaining challengers on the list reserve the right to rescind their challenge in the event of a change of possession of the Tailed Beast.

Voids:
- Auto-hitting techniques
- Swift Release
- Izanami
- Kotoamatsukami
- Inescapable Kamui
- Bearing both Sage Mode + Rinnegan, or Sage Mode + Tenseigan
- Sage Mode + bearing the perks of Sage Transformation without the usage of Strange Transmission Distant Shadow
- Manipulation of time itself
- Kekkei Mōra
- Filler techniques that are deemed too powerful and/or surpass canon-equivalent techniques
(Note: This is a list of voids I could come up with off the top of my head. Others may be added within discussion of the challenge or later.)

Current Challengers
None

Past Challengers
- Kamui (Conceded due to RL issues; Two-week cool-down period granted)

Preferences are subject to change.

After accepting the above publicly, I'll be allowing him the choice to perform the first post or not.

Walking into the plains for the match called out by the challenger, Kage would enter in his usual attire and his Gunbai strapped to his back. His eyes would also have his Sharingan active, just as a simple preparation that many would Uchiha make.

(Had a bit of confusion in what deferring meant.)

The Yondaime Otokage would appear in the plains, some distance away from the other Yondaime, albeit an Amekage. The Yondaime too being of Uchiha descent would have his three tomoed sharingan swirling in his eye socket.

If examined closely enough one might notice the melody gauntlet attached to his arm, but more importantly if a keen eye his opponent had, he might notice the undead status of the Otokage. Further more, if he was trained in the sage arts, he would be able to eye the constant flow of natural energy, a product of his clan's heritage

His eyes scanned as much detail as it possibly could, taking note of the faded skin and cracks upon his opponent's body. This was the general sign of shinobi necromancy. As Kage stood still, he could surely feel the flow of Natural Energy in the area draw towards Trev as well. It was known that the Yondaime Otokage was of the clan which could passively absorb it and make use of an unstable transformation similar to Sage Mode.

Seeing that his opponent hasn't made the first move, Kage would do so himself. A hand seal was formed and the uprooting of thick tree branches would erupt from the ground. A thicker one would carry himself upwards. A small forestation of trees and branches would be made in a 10 meter radius around the Amekage with him being atop the sprouted trees, though slightly concealed by branches and leaves. While within this, another hand seal would form and spawn two Wood Clones beside himself. The clones would make use of the branches and slide down them with chakra concentrated under their feet towards the Otokage.

Sharingan eyes took notice of the spawning of a small forest, the creation of clones, and said clones being directed towards him. Having his eyes easily follow everything, all there was left to do was react. The Yondaime started by quickly dashing away from the original kage and said clones who were moving towards him. The Yondaime was typically a distance fighter, and would seek to create separation. Considering his virtually unlimited stamina and endurance, he would keep rapid movement up for a very long time.

Once adequate distance was created (About 20 meters from the clones, should they attempt to follow, else 20 from you) the Yondaime would come to a hard skid, his feet dragging into the ground. As he stopped his movement, the Yondaime would slam his hand to the ground, causing a moderate amount of smoke to propel into the air. The smoke would clear within seconds, revealing the Yondaime on top of a giant clam with an Otogakure symbol etched onto it's shell.

Without hesitation, the clam would begin expelling mist through it's siphons, albeit a purple one. This clam was a variant of the typical one, and could expel Otogakure's secret hiden Dokuton through it's vents. The mist would quickly cover the fighting location in a matter of seconds. The Dokuton when it comes into contact with any organic matter (except the clam and Yondaime) would seep into said being, and infect their chakra network, "eating" it till it ran dry. This meant Kage, his clones, and even his Mokuton forest were targets.

It didn't end there, the mist produced also had a genjutsu effect, able to manifest realistic mirages using the mist exuded by the clam. Making it difficult for observers to distinguish from the real thing through normal methods, this would serve to hide the location of the clam and Trev, who would quickly move from their original location once the mist was expelled.

In an attempt to confuse Kage, various images of the clam would appear in the distance, away from where the real clam was. An image of the Yondaime would also appear from the mist, charging a short distance away from Kage, an attempt to distract him as he would think a nearby threat emerged. Of course Kage, had the sharingan, but since the mist was constant, any attempt to break it would result in him being put back into the genjutsu until the mist was cleared.

Thus by the end of the Yondaime's actions, Kage faced several issues. One, could his sharingan sense the real Trev and Clam (Debatable), did he know enough about the jutsu to not try and continuously break the genjutsu and aim for the mist? Several mirages would attempt to bait and distract him. And finally, if swallowed by the mist, his chakra would slowly start to drain. For kage to survive, he would have to answer these issues, made much more difficult if he did not know the nature of Otogakure Dokuton, or the uniqure nature of this clam.

Summoning: Giant Clam
Demonic Illusion: Steaming Multistoried Building (Dokuton variant)

Opponent has exceeded the 3 day post limit. This fight is on hold, pending an explanation by Kage.

So I'm gonna call this a forfeit due to inactivity. The 3 day period, and 5 day extension are long overdue. Kage did not post as he said he would in his last message to me, and has posted on the forum since.

If anyone else has a problem, please direct messages towards me, in the mean time this may be locked.

To make things official and to avoid future problems, I concede to the challenger and recognize him as the winner due to my own inactivity.
