The cloned Nara continued to watch the stone as it floated above the mouth of the molting hot volcano, only just now noticing its vibrations. His Choku Tomoe Sharingan looked closely as the lava once again spewed upwards, nearly instantly surrounding the airborne stone. Miraculously, the blobs of lava rolling down the super heated earthen mountainside, flowing like a mad river, clung to the multitude of stones that was scattered along said mountainside. The stones, varying in sizes, were fed the same energy from the stone, as if it were siphoning it straight from the lava.
The answer to his earlier question was presented itself in the most simplest way. If someone was to remove the stone above, the fire stones below would lose the source of their energy. But was the stone simply a medium for the transfer of energy, or did it come directly from the lava? Being the hottest substance on the world, perhaps rivaling that of Fractus' flames, or Son Goku's own source of lava, it wouldn't be too far from the answer he already had in mind.
The clone was soon brought back to his senses, when a plume of ash and embers surrounded his position. He covered his mouth and nose with the crook of his free arm and proceeded to maneuver around, evading the falling embers and toxic chemicals in the cloud of charcoal colored smoke. Dehydration was finally beginning to take its toll on the clone, that along with the cracking of the egg, informed the clone that he didn't have much time left on the clock.
If the clone was feeling the effects of the dehydration, the original Nara was definitely feeling the effects as well. His Incineration Technique wasn't helping his case as it was before, he was dying of thirst, that may or may not be a metaphor to his current situation. But, much like his Nature Energy situation, unsealing a bottle of water was incredibly risky. With the unsurprisingly dry air and intense heat, creating water was completely impossible. The option of using the last reserves of his stored water, from inside of him, was redundant.
Thinking further on the matter was impeded when a giant hand was ferociously occupying his previous position. Said hand had created a rather deep crevice in the ground from the force of the attack. Jay, running on his last legs, moved swiftly, his entire frame covered in electricity. A moment in weakness, found in every boss fight, for some reason, and the Nara had a devilish idea. "This better work." He muttered to himself as he rushed his previous position, while the colossus attempted to pry its hand from the ground.
With lightning coursing through his muscles and his mind set on the task at hand, he rushed up the giant arm, moving entirely too fast for the scouts to halt his progression. While generally not how he would usually do things, once he hit the shoulder, the flow of lightning vanished from his system and he stomped on it with incredible power, leaping the very top of the crouched colossus.
Said colossus, wasn't idle as the ground glowed around its hand before ripping it from the searing hot earth. Clay fragments, burst from the pull, attempting to cut into it's face, but proved fruitless as they bounced off. It's hand, moving faster than before attempting to squash his frame at the top of his head, in a fashion reminiscent of somebody squatting at a fly.
The Nara, fully aware of this, drew on the immediate Nature Energy around his hand. Much like his clone had done beforehand, it rushed towards his hand causing the entire hand to vibrate from the sheer amount of energy that filled it in such a short amount of time. In any case, once his hand pressed against the top of the horned head, the energy rushed down in a similar fashion before. The energy, still in the process of rushing outwards, exploded(1) from his palm.
The explosion, filled the area, rushing downwards and causing a crater from the immense power of the Nature Energy that composed the attack. The force of the explosion rushed outwards in a tsunami like fashion, knocking back the scouts, seriously maiming them, stretching out seventy meters. Despite the design of the technique, the Nara was launched higher into the air, composing himself with his flight technique, his frame slightly charred from the attack, but his natural healing factor was bringing the color back to his skin.
Below him, the colossus was kneeling in the midst of the smoke and debris, before it began to move, falling closer to the ground. The crash that resulted gave the Nara a sense that it had been defeated. But the fact that he could still sense its ferocious energy filled him with a sense of excitement. "Almost, but I'm not staying here to face it's wrath." He thought out loud, rushing through the air, towards the mountain, unsealing that previously mentioned bottle of water and draining it's contents in seconds.
