Sabu stood with his sword sticking out of the ground beside him, focusing his chakra for the battle. He was ready to strike at a moment's notice, keenly aware of his very minimal surroundings.

Would have made wiki pages for his swords if he was told of this rule previously << Desare is using this sword.

Desare approached, his sword hanging on his right hip. His Sharingan was deactivated for this fight, his normal green eyes ringed by black sclera. He watched Sabu as he approached him, noting the particularly massive sword he had chose for their fight.

Sabu, upon spotting Desare, pulled the sword out of the ground and held it "backwards" with the blade stretching from the tip up behind his head down to the handle Sabu gripped tightly in his right hand. He extended his left hand, placing his right foot forward and his left behind his torso. Kenton, being invisible, would be hard to detect on the fingers of Sabu's left hand. Being the defender, he waited for Desare's first move.

Standing 20 feet from Sabumaru, Desare would draw his sword with his left hand and raise it above his head, his arm bent as if he were flexing his biceps. His right hand would grab his forearm with a backhanded grip, holding the left arm back as it built up strength for a powerful strike. He'd mentally intone,

"Ittoryu: Sanjuroku Pound Ho!"

Before letting go of his arm and slashing through the air in front of him. The force of the swing would send a twisting current of cutting air pressure toward Sabumaru, no chakra required. It was invisible, but Sabu would be able to hear it and see anything that it disturbed, like the chunks of concrete it gouged out of the ground as it raced toward Sabu. The whole blast was just large enough to engulf Sabu's form, and would strike him a second after it was launched.

Sabu saw Desare make some sort of attack, and had to assume it was something as the move was not close enough for the blade to hit Sabu. He coated the whole of his left arm in Kenton, and held it perpendicular to the ground as if to block the attack somehow.

It worked, the twisting current slashed in two before it could cut into Sabu enough to draw blood (though it did rip his clothes a bit). Quickly following up, Sabu closed the distance between the two with an explosive burst from his leg muscles (no chakra) while raising his right hand over his head to slash at Desare diagonally, with the still "backwards" sword. The single slashing edge of the sword was coated with Sabu's Kekkai Tōta.

Desare would propel himself backwards as Sabu moved toward him, aiming to keep out of the range of that sword for as long as possible. He had seen Sabu block his attack with what seemed to be nothing but his arm, so it did not take a genius to figure something was up. As he backpedaled he'd raise his sword in the same stance as before, this time intoning,

"Ittoryu: Sanbyakurokuju Pound Ho!"

He'd swing and launch another blast of air toward Sabumaru, this time much stronger. It was twice the size overall and would take no issue with cutting through steel.

Irritated that he'd have to catch his prey, Sabu decided what to do in the split second that he noticed Desare's attack. He could see it was bigger, and so he coated his whole blade in Kenton as he brought it upwards, and switch his grip on it to hold it correctly and swing it back downwards to again slice through the attack. Despite the strength of the attack, the sword was entirely unharmed.

Using the momentum of his slice and the immense strength of his body, Sabu lept forward at Desare again with an even greater speed than before, spinning as he did and attacking with the very tip of the blade extended straight towards Desare's forehead, drastically lengthening Sabu's reach. This move was about using the most of already present momentum, Sabu's strength and the length of the blade to close the gap as quickly as possible so as to force Desare to somehow block the massive blade instead of dodge.

Desare knew something was going on for sure now, Sabu had effortlessly cut through his attack a second time. Big sword or not it should not have been that easy,

"That must be his ability, perhaps he can cut anything, or at least things that can't normally be cut."

Desare would quickly re-sheath his blade, but kept his hand tightly on the handle. He'd stop his backpedaling as Sabu lept wildly toward him and suddenly pushed off his foot to launch himself forward, directly at Sabu's attack. As the man's massive blade was thrust forward Desare would lean to the left as he continued to move, putting Sabu to the right of him, the blade barely missing it's mark and actually clipping off Desare's right ear. The man would mentally intone,

"Ittoryu Iai: Shi Shishi Sonson!"

He'd draw and re-sheathe his blade in a flash, his fastest sword technique. He'd continue on past Sabumaru, hoping the man would crash to the ground in two pieces, cleaved in half along the waist from Desare's strike. With any luck the Lion's Song of Death would be Sabu's as well.

During his daring dash, Dabu- er, Sabumaru noticed Zoro- er, Desare sheathing his sword. No fool to the ways of the Iai, Sabu let go of Goyakan with his left hand and dropped his arm, transferring the Kenton on his blade through his shoulders and down to his hand, only barely in time.

Sabu would turn, revealing a deep gash in his arm where the blade had cut him before his Kenton had saved his waistline. Desare's blade, obviously, would have been cut by his own attack crossing over the sharp edge that had become Sabu's arm.
"Damn you're one quick son of a bitch!" said the man in black, beginning to laugh. The blood dropped down Sabu's arm to his hand, soaking his fingers in crimson liquid until it dripped off and fell to the concrete.

Sabu whipped his left arm forward, a painful way to start his attack, sending a spray of blood towards Desare before Sabu used his right hand to swing Goyakan into the concrete. Both the blood and the blade were sharpened with Kenton (surprise), meaning the liquid would slice in contact, and Sabu would be able to cut out a big slab of the concrete from the ground. He popped this up in front of him, making this move almost identical to the Earth Shore Return technique but with concrete instead. Behind this wall, Sabu would drip some of his blood onto his blade and before staunching the bleeding.

Half of Desare's sword would go flying into the air, having been cut in half by Sabu's ability. Desare would turn around as Sabu flung his blood at him the Uchiha would jump, partly because he assumed anything Sabu was trying to touch him with was probably bad news and to catch the airborne half of his severed sword betwixt his teeth, Guts Style,

(Guts > Zabuza any day https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ET3a9WCt-r0/VJMYAFKnN5I/AAAAAAAAkgY/8fzlucQhmoo/w640-h400-p-k/2853805-2269___berserk_guts_manga.png )

The jump would allow him to avoid the thrown blood and see Sabu over his wall, he noticed the man slicking his blade with more blood. Hopefully the blood loss combined with the wound on his arm would somewhat reduce Sabu's ability to wield the massive blade he had chosen. Desare's ear would have regenerated by now. Still grasping the half of the sword that was still attached to the handle Desare would dash circuitously towards Sabu to move around the wall he had thrown up. If Sabu thought he was the only one who could manage some dirty tricks he was mistaken.

Sabu saw Desare's ear regenerate, and adjusted his plan accordingly. Luckily for Sabu, Desare had run right into Sabu's original "trap" so he would have no trouble making the edit required. Damn zombies assuming immortality these days, Sabu was pleased to show just what his ability could truly do.

As Desare moved around the wall, Sabu would swing his sword towards his opponents right. The blade was long enough to reach out past him as he was moving towards Sabu from around the wall, and the blood on the blade ended up extending the reach for a brief second even further. Both the metal and the red were sharpened. Simultaneously he kicked the wall, coating all the edges of it with Kenton as he did so it would slide across the ground towards Desare from his left, scissoring him inbetween the wall and Sabu's blade as he moved towards our hero. Lucky boy Sabu didn't even need his left arm for this move.

It should be noted that if either side of the attack landed, they would phase through Desare instead of slicing through his "flesh" as if Desare was using Kamui. If he jumped back or up, the wide splatter of the blood or the tip of the wall would likely still clip him.

Desare was going to have to make some plays of his own. Picking up to full speed as he saw Sabu begin to move, Desare would use the blade held in his right hand to catch the sunlight just so as to flash it in Sabu's eyes, blinding him for what would hopefully be just enough time to strike. Desare would throw himself forward onto his knees and lean backward, using the momentum from his movement to power-slide under the swing of Sabu's blade. He'd slide between Sabu and the wall, swinging his head toward Sabu as he slid shortly past him, the blade in Desare's mouth would aim to stab into Sabu's gut and then tear it open as Desare slid past. Meanwhile the sword in his right hand would be slashed lower at Sabu's leg and would still have enough strength behind it to nearly entirely sever the limb just below the knee, should it connect. However this required him to sacrifice his left arm to the mighty wall, and it would be neatly severed at the shoulder.

Blinded, Sabu's gut reaction was to attack directly in front of him as that was the direction Desare was headed. Sabu spit as much saliva as he could as a spray from his mouth, right into the face of Desare. The sharpened spit would cut the blade in Desare's mouth as he struck with it, only so he couldn't fully tear out Sabu's guts but instead stab the sword into him and be left with a small chunk of metal in his mouth, the rest staying in Sabu's tummy. The blow to his leg wasn't something he saw coming, and it came right off as intended. As the moment flashed by, and Sabu caught his balance, he knew it was over.

"Haaahh... Damn corpse-wearers, had to aim at the connection between your soul and that corpse instead of aiming at your flesh.. Sabu heaved, turning his head and as much of his body as he could without falling over. No blood dripped from the stump, but it did seem to make his life harder. He was more injured by the sharp hunk of metal in his core. It was worth trying to move though, so he could watch the effects of cutting the soul and body apart. "Unless you can perform the Edo Tensei on yourself in the next few seconds, I don't see you walking that off. Sabu said smugly, as if he's just won against all odds. But hey, only the best deserved a technique like this.

Desare dies, losing the fight where his opponent gets to decide if any of his attacks hit or not, what a shame.
