That explains it better. Or unable to simply control the beast, not just choosing to give in.

Uhm, To me there is no draw. You either defeat the host...prove you can take his beast, or you failed to do this and lose. It's not a contest, its a robbery. You get away with the loot or you do not.

At what point can it be determined the challenger is just not strong enough to best the host? Or is this just not something we need to be concerned with?

That's nice Kamui, however it's not graded on tails, but 5 evolutionary stages, regardless of number of tails.
So rather than 3 week to master Shukaku and 27 weeks to master Kyuubi, it is 15 weeks for all hosts regardless of their bijuu. Hosts, not summoners.

My mistake. :oops: I was still going by the old concept that each level meant a subsequent tail is mastered.  I still stand firm with my vote and will be changing the topic in near future to include the tag: [Vote/Discussion]

That way we can keep this all organized and within the boundaries of it not going *slightly* off-topic due to any small chatter between the group.  :cool:

you could just go ahead and move it to discussion. it was not quite as ready to vote upon as I first assumed it would be. or whatever takes less work at this point.
too tired to...
yeah.

Yes for 3 weeks for each level of mastery.
I assume number of tails 'summoned' does not matter as long as the host is within the proper stage, correct?
Like the host of Gyuki can summon 8 tails in the V1 stage but cannot access V2.

Ok so far things stand here:

Mastering a Bijuu
yes = 8
3 weeks per level = 9

Ace = yes, 3 weeks
Asadi
Raifudo
Bocchiere =  yes, 3 weeks
Camel (Kamui) = yes. 3 weeks
Eric = yes, 3 weeks, no special jutsu beyond cloaked powers or breaking a genjutsu permitted.
Hades  = yes, 2 weeks
KayentaMoenkopi = yes, 3 weeks
Mei = yes, 3 weeks, number of tails manifested is not inhibited, just abilities to enter cloaked stages beyond your mastery.
Suishou Koji = yes, 3 weeks
Warren = 3 weeks, questions point of overmastery consequences versus host just being done and match over as a penalty.

Please vote: Asadi, Ace, Raifudo

We seem to be set on the number of weeks for mastery and can split the topic for over mastery consequences into another thread if that is what is required as well as the point Mei brought up concerning what tail limitations, if any, are associated with the V1 Cloak.

Ok. we have a majority on the training levels and 3 weeks per each. So I am sending that to done. I have created a discussion thread for the consequences of overmastery issue so that those points raised here can be further explored.
