Special Conditions

-The match is IC unless otherwise agreed upon.

-The match will be what I refer to as "staggered IC". That meaning we can rp whilst the match happens, but the end result of the match will still occur IC. Once a victor is decided the Jinchuriki and Challenger then finish whatever rp they are in and immediately post going to begin the fight, so that is when it happens chronologically. If you manage to get yourself killed before the fight happens it will be voided, but I'm not forcing you to rp elsewhere during the fight.

-Once a judge is agreed upon, either before the fight starts or the first time a decision is needed, they are the judge for the rest of the fight.

-The Challenger and Jinchuriki each have a one time ability to boot a judge. If the agreed upon judge makes a decision just so despicable that you need to get a new one you can say that after this decision you are requesting a new judge. Each participant can do this ONCE, and NOT while a decision is being made. Once a new judge is picked they are the set judge for the rest of the fight, or until the remaining boot is used on them.

-You cannot borrow techniques from your friends like Dust Release or Hirashin. You can only use what abilities and tools you have In-Character during the fight, even if it's OOC.

-If you take 7 days to post, the fight will be called off and you will be declared the loser. If the fight was OOC that means you just lose. If it was IC that means the opposition gets to legally auto-hit you, likely meaning you die or are sealed. Note that the timer does not reset if you posted once and then have to repost. I.e. You waited 6 days to post, but your post was all godmodding and autohitting, and then waited 3 days to repost, then you still lose.

-Everyone gets ONE repost only.

Non-Negotiable Voids

-Swift Release
- Izanami
- Body Revival Technique (If used to survive opening the 8th Gate. That was made before we knew what the 8th Gate does, regeneration does not let you tank disintegrating into ash.)
- Uchiha Return
- Hijutsu: Kirisame
- Custom Bijuu Transformations
- Tenseigan
- Nonsense

**Rules and Void list subject to change**

The match is 1v1 OOC
The zone is zone 2, Wetlands
The judge for the match is Jay Nara
Initial post from Bocchiere shall soon follow

Even as the wind raged and rain roared a pillar of white flame would explode from the earth, evaporating a swathe of the rain as Bocchiere made his appearance in the area. He wore his common shirtless attire, scythe stuck to his back, Akatsuki ring on his finger, and a multitude of seals adorning his arms. The heat of his passive Flame King's Raiment Technique would be amped up to the point that any drops of rain that did strike him would instantly evaporate and as usual his three tomoe Sharingan was active.

(Recycling my post from my fight with Shadow because I'm hungover and I have no shame :P)

Of all the contrivances conceived by man’s peerless imagination, there was none so peculiar as the one ambling across the wetlands in the early morning. He had transcended many of the limitations afforded to him by his biological husk using innovations crafted from the ever-convenient mechanical abilities of the Asura Path.

Tobias Augustus’ lofty frame was also outfitted with armor, albeit his bore a striking difference in appearance.  It was an elegant blend of different materials ranging from the coveted Vibranium to his own bone (Kaguya). The intricately designed headpiece rested upon his shoulders, obscuring all of his features save the lavender glow of his tomoed Rinnegan.

With various sensory systems active, Tobias noticed the presence of Bocchiere forthwith. A brief locomotion with repulsors embedded in his palms and feet placed Tobias approximately 61 meters (200 feet) away from him.

Bocchiere observed the man's unusual appearance with interest. He was of course no stranger to the Asura Path but he'd never faced anyone who used it as their main battle style before.

He'd form a single kata and a Mokuton Bunshin would quickly grow from his side as he ascended his Sharingan into their Mangekyo state. Even divided by 50% Bocchiere's chakra was still greater than most shinobi. His own natural pool was of above average size and was supplemented by the "S Rank" pools of 4 other shinobi via Jiongu to increase it further, and that's not even counting all of the chakra of the Kyuubi he can tap into.

Taking only a second to form, the clone would quickly ascend its eyes to their Rinnegan state.

Following the formation of the Bunshin Bocchiere would nearly instantly form one more kata, "Let's see if you've got powder to back up your flash."

Mokuton: Mokuryū no Jutsu

A wooden serpentine dragon massive enough to swallow Tobias whole in a single bite would burst up from the ground directly under him and attempt to do just that. The wooden construct of course had no digestive system to speak of but that just meant Tobias would be trapped and chewed on ad nauseam if he allowed himself to be eaten.

//////ALL PASSIVE SENSORY SYSTEMS CURRENTLY ONLINE. LARGE SUBTERRANEAN OBJECT APPROACHING EXPEDITIOUSLY.//////

The wooden dragon generated measurable seismic activity as it approached, providing Tobias with ample time to react—especially when one considered how quickly his augmented brain processed information. With the ability to perform just under 2 sextillion computations per second, the time that transpired from his notice of and the dragon’s actual emergence seemed like an eternity. It was during this time that Tobias deployed a spherical object from his left side that floated just affront him before leaping away at a diagonal angle to avoid the massive jaws of the elemental beast as it exploded from the ground beneath him. Since it was large enough to swallow him whole, it was reasonable to assume that the little device vanished within the dragon’s maw—thus sealing its fate.

A psionic command caused the object activate. Were it not for the clamor generated by the dragon’s creation and subsequent attack, they would have been able to hear a vibrant mechanical hum as the orb released the energy stored inside it. What kind of energy, you ask? Well, the energy manifested itself in the form of numerous beams of blue Ranton [storm release] chakra. With caustic quality did the beams rocket in every possible direction, punching through the dragon’s thick hide not only with intense heat, but sheer concussive force as well. Their journey didn’t end there, however. Once they were free from the barky confines, they continued on a predetermined arc that ended with Bocchiere. Naturally the dragon’s momentum would continue until its impetus was extinguished, which simply peeled entire sections of its body like a block of butter pressed against a knife’s blade.

Tobias spectated from the background hovering just above the ground using his propulsion systems.

Bocchiere would use his Incineration Technique to turn his body to fire, allowing the beams of Tobias' Ranton attack to pass straight through him without harm. He’d also extend a bone spike from the palm of his hand, and it would extend to just about three feet long.

Since the clone was not targeted by the attack it would dash forward, quickly closing the distance between itself and Tobias. The clone would form a traditional Rasengan in each of its hands and attempt to close the distance and slam them both into Tobias’ chest.

Seeing the clone dash toward him prompted Tobias to activate the ability known as A God's Denial -- Kami no Kyohi, which was an improvement on the generic attractive and repulsive abilities granted to those who possessed the Eyes of the Six Paths. This ability granted him a more precise and powerful control over the vectors of various objects and forces around him so long as he could take into account all the variables of the particular thing he sought to control during his calculations--a feat that was mostly left to a subconscious filtering system that processed the information and determined what was and wasn't a potential threat to him. Of course Tobias could assume conscious control of this process when need be, but this was hardly the time for such a thing.

As an obvious threat, Bocchiere's clone and the two rasengan it held were met by what was known as a dispersion field, an imperceptible region of influence easily mistaken for a barrier since it seemed that the clone smashed into an invisible brick wall when in truth, the magnitude component of the clone's vector was halted abruptly. This lasted long enough for Tobias to project an actual barrier using his Preta Path abilities that would not only absorb the chakra from the rasengan as it expanded outward, but also the chakra comprising the clone as well.

Well Tobias did not specify exactly how far the clone was from him when it was stopped, but if it was close enough to be affected by the Preta Path's Blocking Technique Absorption Seal it had to be quite close. While Tobias was correct that the Preta Path could absorb the Rasengans (of course) as well as the chakra out of the clone, it would not be able to literally absorb the clone. The Wood Release Clone alters the bodies cells into vegetation, which is then animated by chakra. Tobias could absorb all of the chakra out of the clone and render it inert wood, but the wood would (hehe) remain.

However that would not be required. Once the clone was stopped in front of Tobias Bocchiere would extend his bone-spur hand forward at about face level before he and his clone would instantaneously switch places.

Hiraishin Goshun Mawashi no Jutsu

The seals on Bocchiere's arms include his own Hiraishin mark, specifically so he can take advantage of it when he makes Bunshin. Bocchiere and his clone would teleport and exchange positions with each other, the clone being back a way and Bocchiere being in front of Tobias. However the extended bone spike was long enough so that when Bocchiere appeared the positioning of it placed the spike straight through Tobias' forehead and out the back of his skull. While he was sure Tobias' armor was very strong the toughness of it now was a moot point. Teleporting into it would cause the matter to be displaced, regardless of what it was, so rather than having been stabbed it was more accurate to say a portion of his skull the exact shape of the bone spike had been replaced by the bone spike. The spike was about the width of an average humerus bone. So Tobias would still have an intact head, but likely with more of it missing than he would like. While Bocchiere can't say this would kill Tobias due to the nature of the man's body he cannot imagine that the spike through the head could possibly benefit him. Of course it is also possible Tobias could somehow avoid this fate, but that would be up to him to describe.

If the initial teleporting attack was successful Bocchiere would follow it up by causing more, smaller spikes to branch off from the spike inside the man's skull, hopefully scrambling anything that remained undamaged, and killing him if he remained alive after the initial blow.

It appeared that Bocchiere had discovered the weakness of his Kami no Kyohi, for the instantaneous teleportation resulted in a long bone spike to appear smack dab in the center of the man’s head! Now this was quite the perplexing situation that Tobias found himself in, but luckily for him, what appeared to be a debilitating and potentially fatal injury was nothing more than a nuisance considering his enhanced condition.

As Bocchiere said, the matter comprising his helmet had been “displaced”, pushed aside to make room for the foreign matter to find a place in the space within his skull. The same thing occurred to the organic and inorganic matter within that lovely dome of his. Although the foreign object impinging in his most precious of organs was quite large, it luckily missed those brain areas implicated in vital functions. If one were skeptical, they could refer to the curious case of one Phineas Gage—impaled through the skull with a tamping iron and suffering naught but an adverse change of character and a newfound proclivity to shirk his commitments. Additionally, Tobias would suffer no pain in the brain itself since the organ lacked nociceptors (that is, neurons that detect pain). He did however, detect quite a bit of pain as the obstruction passed through his skin, skull and meninges, but this was quickly dulled to a tolerable level via a psionic command.

The neurological phenomenon known as neuroplasticity began at an alarming rate, the webs of mechanical wiring and biological tissue weaving themselves back to their appropriate arrangements as an army of nanoscopic machines went to work at attacking the foreign object within his skull. They made quick work of the bone spike despite its renowned durability since the machines were attacking it on a sub-cellular level. While this normally would have taken some time, the millions of nanomachines that flooded to and out of the wound made sure that the ossified weapon was totally dissolved and the wound healed nigh-instantly. These inconceivably small objects were imperceptible even to the mighty sharingan, which could only see objects as small as cells.

A psionic command activated his ability to form solid constructs from his Yin chakra—an ability he had inherited from his father. The object of choice for this particular action was a rectangular barrier (10 x  10) that would materialize around Bocchiere as Tobias fled backward until there was about 100 feet between them. While the conscious command and subsequent creation of this barrier would have taken far longer to a simpler mind, Tobias was a hypercognitive, and the creation of this barrier was effectively instantaneous because of it. Although they couldn’t be seen, the area from which the cyborg had fled was riddled with the inconceivably small machines that had been summoned to treat his injury.

"Now that could have been very ugly if I were a human." he said to Bocchiere with a sigh of relief. He knew all those impulsive upgrades would come in handy one day.

Bocchiere would narrow his eyes as the hole in the man's head quickly closed and he flew back with seemingly no ill after effects. Bocchiere himself would Hiraishin back to his clone so they stood side by side, never getting close to one of the hidden nanomachines. He heard what Tobias said and nodded, "That certainly could have been more decisive. You seem more machine than man at this point..." That gave Bocchiere an idea, one that Naruto himself would probably have been proud of based on how mind-numbingly boneheaded it was.

Bocchiere would enter his Nine Tails Chakra Mode along with his clone and both of them would be engulfed in a transparent fiery aura. This was the active version of his Flame King’s Raiment technique which, as previously stated, had already been heating up his body to 200+ degrees Fahrenheit, so that the rain was being evaporated on contact with him. The Nine Tails Chakra Mode would triple the techniques power in addition to the fact that Bocchiere was spreading its influence all across the entire surrounding area, instead of just his own body.

Bocchiere is many things, but a computer engineer is not one of them. However he does know that most sensitive technology has a cooling system to keep it from overheating, which is bad for them. So since Tobias seems to be mostly machine Bocchiere would want to see if he could simply overheat some of the man’s more sensitive hardware and cause him to cease to function.

Assuming Tobias had managed to install a thermometer on himself somewhere he would be able to notice within seconds that the temperature of the area had skyrocketed. With Bocchiere and his clone doing the jutsu together they could increase the temperature twice as fast. It was already over 600 degrees Fahrenheit and showed no signs of slowing down.

The floating nanomachines would hopefully be destroyed since they were outside the protection of Tobias’ body, not that Bocchiere knew about them.

Tobias nodded before saying, “That may be true—but when you think about it, I am no less human than I was before. After all, these machines were birthed from a human mind, making them just as human as a line of poetry or a violin sonata.” Tobias preferred to think of himself as the next leap in human evolution. Machines were here to stay and it was only a matter of time until they become more sophisticated than those who created them. When that time came, humanity would find itself faced with two options: degrade into the most base of organisms and eventually fade into obscurity, or merge with the machines to ensure the continued success of the species. Tobias knew this quandary to be an eventuality, an inevitable fork in the road of humanity’s destiny. A man far ahead of his time, Tobias had already chosen the latter option.

PROVERBIAL CHAKRA DETECTED. SCANNING DATABASE FOR A MATCH… SCANNING… SCANNING… NO MATCH FOUND.

A point formed in Tobias’ eyebrow when the search yielded no results. Whatever this chakra was, he had never encountered it before, so he figured he would ask to satiate his growing curiosity. “That chakra that you’ve tapped into, it’s completely different from your own…. What is it?” He didn’t need his smart AI, known as Ava, to tell him that the arena was getting hotter (though it did it anyway)—he could feel it on his skin.

Tobias responded in kind by smacking his hands into the serpent hand-sign. A truly monstrous amount of chakra appeared beneath their feet a moment before the soaking ground fractured in its presence, forced apart to liberate obsidian hued chakra chains from their terrestrial sanctum. The chains covered an area of 200 feet in the four cardinal directions starting from a foot in front of Tobias. Some flew straight upward and some crisscrossed to form a convoluted web of chains that attempted to ensnare Bocchiere and his clones. This wasn’t all, however. The reason the chains were black instead of their normal golden was because he had infused them with his Six Paths Power during their creation. The chains began to glow with a golden aura as they absorbed the chakra released from Bocchiere’s King’s Raiment Technique and his Nine Tails Chakra Mode, which of course would return the ambient temperature to a reasonable one as quickly as it had begun to change.

The chains could pull chakra away from objects up to 20 feet away and they seemed to absorb chakra more hastily in such large numbers as they were. With this in mind, Bocchiere would have to act quickly if he didn’t want to die from being totally drained (I’m gonna say 5 turns. We could settle on a number, but I’m sure you’ll be out long before then if you get caught in them at all). The chakra absorbed would be used to strengthen the chains and tighten their grip on the man.

As the ground cracked Bocchiere and his clone would leap powerfully into the air, flying with the use of the Light Weight Rock Technique. For now they would merely attempt to ascend higher than the chains could reach them, but if it looked like they were extending further the Rinnegan bearing clone would respond by launching a flurry of similarly enhanced Demonic Statue Chains from its right hand. A user of the Rinnegan himself the Preta Path barrier surrounding the chains would be obvious to him and so the clone would similarly enhance its chains with Six Paths Chakra, causing the identically enhanced chains to clash off each other with no clear winner.

Flying at high speeds to stay ahead and out of reach of the chakra draining chains the duo would head toward Tobias and continue to use the Flame King's Raiment Technique which, hopefully to the chagrin of Tobias, would continue to rapidly increase the temperature of the area. Much like Bakuton, which expends chakra to create explosions, the force of which is not actually made of chakra, this technique of Bocchiere's expended chakra to create heat, but that heat was not made of chakra. The rise in temperature was not something Tobias could absorb.

If the man could already feel the heat against his skin (not that Bocchiere knew that) it would mean the heat was already transferring through the man's armor and hopefully further increases would start to damage him. The rapid pace in which the two raised the temperature meant that it was now over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and would continue to rise at the same pace.

The Jashinist would call out to Tobias as he and his clone closed in toward him, "Let me show you!"

The chakra chains did extend as his opponent suspected, but they were met with bitter opposition from the chains of Bocchiere’s outer path, creating tangled mass of chains as they struggled to gain an advantage on the opposing party with their chakra absorption quality—to no avail.

AMBIENT ATMOSPHERIC TEMPERATURE RISING PRECIPITIOUSLY.  CURRENT TEMPERATURE: 1245 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT AND CLIMBING.

RECOMMENDED COURSE OF ACTION: DEPLOY DRONE #186329-A, CODENAME “Big Chill”.

Tobias clapped his hands together as Bocchiere and his clone approached to initiate a summoning technique. The plume of smoke created as a result of this simple maneuver momentarily obscured the Imperatorem from the approaching duo. When the smoke cleared, a massive metallic humanoid stood in the duo’s path.

A panel opened on the robot’s chest, revealing a sphere sitting in the very center of the metallic chamber. There were a myriad of tubes that branched outward from the sphere, although they never actually touched it, instead hovering mere centimeters from the sphere’s surface. Big Chill lifted its left hand and began to pull the IR Radiation released from the two approaching bodies into it. The drone was crafted from metals including a multiferroic alloy known as Ni45Co5Mn4OSn10, a non-magnetic solid that, upon absorbing some of the heat in Big Chill’s surroundings, became strongly magnetic as a result. This allowed it to sap the energy that excited the air molecules around them and convert it into electricity to power it. The sphere began to spin rapidly as more IR radiation was absorbed, creating streams of electricity that danced off the sphere and into the tubes surrounding it.

The process was highly efficient but there was an upper limit to the amount of heat Big Chill could absorb at one time before it had to discharge some of the energy (though this absorption ceiling was incredibly high). The sudden loss of kinetic energy in his environment caused the air to return to a reasonable temperature that posed no threat to the mechanical structures of either party.

Big Chill rushed forward to intercept Bocchiere and his clone, but not without first firing a burst of pale blue energy from the large pulse rifle that was its right arm. Although the energy was maintained in a compact form for most of its flight, it would rapidly expand as it entered the duo’s vicinity (10 feet) in the hopes of blowing them both to bits, or at the very least forcing them to separate lest they suffer the aforementioned fate. If they did separate, this would make it more difficult for their King’s Raiment to work in tandem, thus slowing the speed at which the ambient temperature increased. In the meantime, Tobias started to perform a string of hand-signs in preparation for his next technique. It was also important to mention that Big Chill's absorption of the ambient heat continued so long as Bocc and his clone pumped out heat and the effect was more pronounced up close (10 feet), such that the drone would strip the heat right from their bodies to assure an icy death if they got too close.

As the smoke cleared and revealed the robot Bocchiere and his clone would ascend their cloaks from Nine Tails Chakra Mode to Demon Fox Chakra Mode. This was a tier higher and was Bocchiere's version of Kurama Mode, gained from synchronizing the beast's killing intent with his own, instead of becoming friends with it. If Nine Tails Chakra Mode was a x3 multiplier like Perfect Sage Mode than Demon Fox Chakra Mode was a x6 multiplier.

This would be funneled into the ongoing Flame King's Raiment Technique, doubling the output of both Bocchiere and his clone. This would hopefully keep the temperature where it was at, at least.

At the same time Bocchiere would eye the giant enemy robot's weak point and attempt to hit it for massive damage. Using a long-range Kamui, similarly enhanced by the 9 tails chakra, Bocchiere would attempt to warp away the entire torso of the construct. That should put a stop to it and since it was done as soon as the panel in its chest opened for Bocchiere to see it should be before it can get a shot off at the duo.

If this did in fact destroy the construct and stop it from absoring the heat in the area it would start to rise again, at an even faster rate this time, and would quickly reach over 2000 degress Fahrenheit.

As they flew toward Tobias the clone would continue to fend off the chakra chains with chains of his own.

The sudden shift of the chakra released by his opponent caught his attention. It was darker and more sinister in nature and it made what little hairs he had on the back of his neck stand erect—though not due to fear, but out of excitement. He hadn’t began to release his more potent chakras just yet, but he felt that Bocchiere would force his hand sooner rather than later. When the chakra cloaks changed and Bocchiere and his clone began to ramp up the production of infrared radiation, the metallic threads (modified Jiongu) that had replaced Tobias’ muscles and tendons began to oscillate. As the tightly woven wires jostled to and fro with increasing intensity, they produced a cacophonous noise that resembled the blood-curdling screech of one thousand nails on an old chalkboard.

The sound itself was debilitating alone, but it was the physical effect that would place his opponent in quite the troubling quagmire. It would begin as a crippling pain as blood vessels throughout the man’s brain ruptured upon being sufficiently disturbed by the grating acoustic waves, which would likely interrupt his attempt to warp Big Chill’s chest away using his Kamui and distract him for the time being. The robot would continue with its previous attack unabated.

With the strings continuing to vibrate with ever-increasing rapidity, the arena would soon fall silent (that is, if the man didn’t figure out a way to stop him from doing this) as the sound emitted reached the ultrasonic range. This would produce an effect more devastating than the last: his body acted as a makeshift sonoporator that produced sufficient cavitation to cause the membranes of the man’s cells to burst en masse, triggering widespread cell death in not just him, but his clone as well.
