Three dead boys got up to fight....
« on: June 06, 2016, 08:46:54 AM »

(Copied from Rusaku, who copied it from Night.)

Current Host: Athos.

Affiliation: Shinobi Kingdom.

Battle Method: 1v1 OOC death match

Judge(s): PMs will be used to determine an agreed-upon judge

List of Challengers:
Bocchiere.

Special Rules:

-The match will be OOC for the benefit of both participating characters. This is essentially to prevent either playing from having to deal with the hassle of dying IC, and additionally leaves both participants free for IC RP during the match. Thus, though the match will be OOC, participants must still RP as their character, exactly as if they were IC, with the addition of following any decided voids, nerfs, etc.

-The match will strictly be 1v1, to prevent any complications arising from extra participants. The player remaining alive retains Saiken. The player that is killed will neither gain nor lose anything else. Essentially, this means the match is strictly about the beast and thus nothing else will be changed as a result.

-If desired, a logical RP can be worked out for a reasonable and plausible IC transfer of the beast to the next host.

-Despite the match being OOC, you need to learn of my possession of either beast before you may challenge for it. Thus, you may not challenge for them without proof of how your character learned of my possession of the beast. Once that is confirmed, a hunt/match is then reasonable and you will be put on the challenge list.

-No match will begin without a judge agreed upon beforehand.

-For anyone, including myself, participants will be allowed any common, general, and basic skills that their character possesses as long as those skills are backed by reasonable explanations (they have an existing explanation in the character’s RP history).

———————————————

~If using any of the eight IG KG, the same system against combing rinnegan/sage, uchiha/hyuga, etc. applies. Any external or custom special skills will need to be accurately assessed and set before the match begins.

————————————————

-Arguing is discouraged. I will talk over any concerns regarding the match with you if the conversation remains calm and logical. If it steps outside of that, then the judge will be asked to make a decision. Pointlessly bickering is not fun or useful for anyone.

-Participants will have fourteen days to post. If they wait longer than that period of time to respond to the other participant, the posting participant will win by default. In the case of an emergency, this may be reviewed and extended by a week, thus totaling a total allotted response time of twenty one days. However, if any post is discredited for rule-breaking and a repost is required, then that post does not count and the repost must be posted within the original timeframe. Should the challenger repeatedly wait until the last moment before posting, I reserve the right to disqualify the challenger from this battle. (This does not stop them from challenging a second time)

-If any of the rules set forward are broken, I reserve the right to cancel the match. This will not prevent you from re-challenging.

Non-Negotiable Voids:

-Anything that does not have a reasonable explanation within the Naruto/SL lore
-Any custom technique that has no prescribed flaw (auto-hitting/character control)
-Any of the recent Rikudo powered abilities
-Body Revival Technique (when used to survive Hachimon)
-Izanami
-Swift Release

~ All information subject to change
~ Mail me with any questions
~ IC Status: Well known Jinchuuriki.

The Judge for this match is Shadow.
The following Match is OOC.
The Zone Setting is Plains.
The Winning side gets the Even Numbered Bijuu(2,4,6,8).
The posting order will be Jay, Athos, Bocchiere.

Time, is a concept of reality you can pretty much count on to continue ticking no matter what happens in the world, hell, in the universe. And yet, in this alternate reality, time stood still with abated breath as if the following battle could determine the fate of this small pocket universe. A battle of prophecy really, something that was foretold back when the reality of chakra was realized hundreds of years ago.

In the clouds, the Gods of the individuals prepared their popcorns, kicked out their lawn chairs and prepared for the battle and issued out their bets. That was all that was known from their activities, something the humans down below wouldn’t benefit from a bit.

Though, it was wrong to assume such a thing, because a lot was on the line so… no pressure Jay >.>

The man in question opened his eyes upon this particular thought; the crimson hues of his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan gleamed from behind the shadow of his long raven black hair. The rest of his features were covered by the long and heavily sealed Manji cloak that was covering the entirety of his frame. Other than the current state of his optics, assuming he was using chakra was a mystery as he was suppressing it, his cloak helping in such a task.

The man combed his fingers through his hair, pushing it away from his face, revealing the cigarette between his lips as well as his facial features. The tip was lit through basic Katon and he took a simple drag from it, exhaling a stream of smoke as he scanned the area around him, unsure of the details of the location he was in. Perhaps, he was in the vast plains, tiny blades of grass crunching under the weight of his bare feet? Or perhaps, white and nothingness, was all that could be seen, and a single building somewhere in the vast emptiness of this strange reality designating the entrance/exit of this pocket realm? Maybe, even, he was walking on a fluffy cloud, the reconstructed water molecules slightly dampening the soles of his feet.

He stopped his march to enjoy the nicotine stick for the time being, maybe it wasn't even a cigarette, with the thoughts running through his head... nothing was a surety. [You know those things will kill you.] The words rang in his mind, nearly disturbing the peaceful silence the man had been enjoying thus far.

”It couldn’t be any faster than this fight could possibly be.” He answered aloud to the twin tailed ball of fire residing inside of him for this particular fight. He released a mirthless chuckle at his own words, though Matatabi wasn’t amused in the slightest. [Just, don’t die out there new meat. Being sealed is much better than any mind control.] That made sense, as far as the man knew, his opponent was hosted to Kurama and summoner to the rest of the roster.

The man couldn’t really respond as her words rang true. He felt like Balboa, stepping into the ring for the title. He shook this feeling as soon as it surfaced; he didn’t need the negative emotions as of yet, not until the fight. ”Don’t worry Tabi-chan, I got yo back. And if not, my homeboy got yo back, and if not, his homeboy got yo ba-“ [Shut up, somebody’s coming.] The man sulked as he continued to smoke the cigarette, calming his nerves before things get intense up in this bi***!

Something about Deja Vu could be said about the scenario that the man was about to walk into but if he admitted that this was Deja Vu, there was a slight insinuation that it would end the same way it had before as well, and that wasn't going to be the case this time around. There was a calm breeze that flowed from the trees in the distance and across the large, open grass plains that the towering figure walked currently, causing his hair to flow faintly in the wind as walked. His bare feet felt the soft, short grass barely crunching beneath his feet with each step that he took towards the location of his long time student.

*Alright, this is the big moment. Rematch of the century, Athos.* The tall redhead let out a breath, having taken in some of that beautiful cool air that had blown through, before he gave a firm nod of his head,"I mean, you definitely aren't wrong, but things are going to be different this time." Of course, Saiken slyly retorted,*And how many times have you said that before?* That one had gotten a tad under his skin as he walked, still speaking aloud to one of his long time comrades, his brow twitching slightly as he grumbled,"Just whose side are you on?" To which Saiken replied with,*The winning side, obviously,* There was a pause and before Athos could say something, the rest was said,*So don't die.* Athos only let out a soft 'tsk' as that as he would come to approach Jay.

Athos Raikon was a towering six feet and seven inches tall, a height that let him stand towering over most other people with ease. Crimson hair that looked like silk was resting down his back, stopping just a few inches before his waist currently after a certain person in his life had decided to chop his hair off at the center of his back. The redhead was dressed for battle, though that didn't exactly say much about his outfit as a whole. He wore a black sleeveless training gi, as well as pants to match, which exposed the tattoo/fuinjutsu upon his left arm, as well as his tan and fit arms in general. On his joints, elbows and knees, were the pieces of technology called Tutumen. His right hand rested on one of the two blades on his hip, one being the infamous Kusanagi and the other being a weapon made by an old war buddy of his, Sabu, called Oken.

But now that he had reached Jay, the man couldn't stop his golden hues, which were easily on par with the Sharingan on some levels, from looking over the man. His student, protege even, was standing before him as a man and warrior. The two were about to fight side by side in a fight that may mean the most in their lives, almost as though everything hung in the balance of this battle. There was something burning strong in those golden hues of his, and though Jay may not be able to see it in his eyes(or maybe he could), it was obviously pride. Athos was proud of what Jay had become, what he had done, and could only give all the credit to Jay. But even with feeling this almost overwhelming feeling, he instead kept it casual and offered a wide grin,"You ready for this?" Athos asked, offering Jay his fist outwards. Not for any Bijuu bonding, of course, just for a greeting between the two of them.

A space time distortion would spiral out from a few feet off the ground, quickly depositing Bocchiere into the area with his Eternal Mangekyo active. He wore his now common topless attire a pair of burgundy pants and long tabi boots, in addition to his amulet of Jashin and Akatsuki ring. He had no visible weapons or tools but his arms were branded with a vast array of fuinjutsu and other markings.

He stood 20 meters from the duo, eyeing them both.

Jay continued to smoke his cigarette in moderate silence, his enhance hearing listening to Athos’ side of his own conversation with Saiken. He exhaled a stream of smoke as the man approached, in which they bumped fists. ”Of course.” A blatant lie, if nothing else. Even with everything his sensei told him about their opponent, he was still a bit nervous for the actual fight. Even with these thoughts, it was too late to back down. So, he took a deep breath and dropped the cigarette down into the short blades of grass. He slowly exhaled as he stepped onto the source of nicotine. As he did this, he activated his Hiraishin Imprinting Seal on the soles of his feet. He was going to need to stay on his toes for this. [Oh yeah, that’s a good tactic. Though, he’ll no doubt see the chakra in the markers and recognize it as yours. Any surprises will be diminished later on.]

Oh Matatabi, always the voice of reason. He knew of this notion, but he still needed to do it. He looked up towards his sensei and smiled softly. The man was always going to be taller than him, so… well, that irked him. He couldn’t control his height, but fighting with the man should help to make him feel equal. ”We should have really prepared mo-”

His words would’ve been cut off by the arrival of their opponent’s chakra signature through the infamous Kamui warp. A dreaded technique, something that would hopefully not be an issue later on in the fight. As the man was deposited from the spatial vortex, he gripped the inside of his heavy cloak and sealed it within one of the storage seals along his fingers, revealing his frame.

Dressed for a battle, the only article he was wearing was the charcoal black karate pants and the matching black belt around his waist. The ends of his belt sported a crimson tomoe, one on both sides, making four in total, which were pre-filled with Nature Energy that would last for four turns of Sage Mode, each. His frame was in top physical shape from constant training and Fuinjutsu marred his slightly tanned skin. Speaking of which, the Chakra Absorption Seal on his left forearm gave a slight glow as his skin became a natural siphon for chakra. Around his wrists and ankles were the ornately designed metallic bands called Argent, which would positively help him during the fight.

His crimson hues looked towards the man, to which the duo would battle, remaining quiet, knowing full well of the history between the two. To which, he would continue to prepare himself, releasing all the levels of his Gravity Seals, enjoying the near weightless feeling the action always gave him afterwards. ’That should be a good start.’ He thought to himself, as well as the companion inside of him.

[All you need to hope now is that he’s slower than you… or at least lacking in stamina… which, trust me, he’s not.] Naturally, he took such a statement wrongly and groaned. ”I don’t even wanna know what you mean by that.” He spoke with a near agitated tone. [Get your mind out of the gutter!] ”You’re in my mind, so you’re in that gutter!” The mental link was cut at that moment, but not before the man heard her growl of annoyance. ”Aye, get back here, we’re not finished!” He growled as well, crossing his arms for the moment. ”Tabi-chan got mad at me.” He explained the situation to the spectators around him.

When the two of their hands had connected with the knuckle touch, Athos would have actually placed a Hiraishin marker against Jay's skin, instead of handing him a marked item. With the small amount of chakra that resided within a Hiraishin marker, hopefully it would go unnoticed directly on the man's skin but that would be hard to say.

Once Bocchiere had appeared, though, Athos would let out a breath as he looked upon the man,"It's been awhile, Bocchiere." He spoke, personally starting some sort of banter. The tall redhead would step forward a few steps in the direction of the Jashinist, his golden hues locking onto the form of the immortal male. They scanned his current attired, brow perked,"Taking a page out of my book, eh? Where is the cloak at?" Of course he was talking about the cloak that Bocchiere had worn any other time the two of them had fought.

Taking a few more steps, taking the distance down to roughly fifteen meters between the two of them and slowly shrinking. Athos was tense, to say the least, but he was far from making a mistake in these moments. He was alert and prepared for about anything, especially after he would open his Mind's Eye, the activation of such being hidden from Bocch.

Bocchiere sighed softly, his Doujutsu seeing the small glow of chakra from the Hiraishin markers the duo was placing. "We'll see if you survive long enough to make me use my cloak." He'd shake his head, "It has been some time, but this must be what, at least the fourth or fifth time we've done this?"
He'd reach to his left arm, flicking his hand across two seals which would spin and release two arcs of smoke, one to each of his sides, the release of a sealing technique. "You think you'd have learned at least one simple thing by now." Bocchiere would call out wryly, the arcs of smoke each poofing into a human sized cloud to Bocchiere's left and right.

The Jashinist would reach a hand into each cloud of smoke, using it as cover to conceal an action.

The small clouds would quickly clear to reveal the release of Bocchiere's two Edo Tensei zombies, Uchiha Madara and Uetto Senju. The Uchiha had his Eternal Mangekyo active and his Gunbai strapped to his back, while the Senju had Rinnegan active with his sword at his side.

Bocchiere's battle line stood facing Athos and Jay, "I've got you outgunned."

Being ignored, that should be a good thing during this fight. As the two conversed, he used that moment to finished his preparations. He took a deep breath and activated the Theta State in his brain so that he was able to process information at a much faster rate, just to assist his already perceptive Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Once he achieved this passive skill, he looked on in wonder as the immortal began moving his hands.

Naturally, he was cautious and ready to counter whatever may happen as a result of the man’s actions. That’s when the smoke plume up and two forms were revealed to him, one of them rather familiar to him, being the visage of the Ghost of the Uchiha. He frowned as he looked upon the man. ”Well, this is a surprise. Last time was difficult, now you literally have an unlimited supply of chakra and you’re technically already dead.” He growled, as he spoke, growing far more hostile than moments ago.

He was aware of the visage of Athos’ brother, if only from the fact that he had been to the man’s funeral some time ago. With the appearance of these two, he believed the immortal didn’t feel confident in his own immortality. Perhaps they, being the Edo Zombies, were for him alone, while they, in the form of Bocchiere and Athos, did battle amongst themselves. It was a strong possibility and if that was so, he needed to prepare himself even more so. [Oh sweetie, you have so much to overcome in this fight.] Matatabi wasn’t wrong in the slightest.

He knew from experience and research afterwards that both of these individuals were fully capable of Mokuton, he couldn’t be reckless. He knew he had to let them make the first move, not all sure they still had a bit of their personalities left. Would the Brute recognize his brother? Madara, him? Surely, the appearance of the two had put a wrench into his overall excitement in fighting alongside his sensei, now he had to deal with this. Complete disintegration wouldn’t even work on them, they’d just pull themselves back together. ’I brought this upon myself. I wanted to fight against an immortal.’ He thought to himself, his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan gleaming in preparation. [Now you have two. Its time to put your own vitality to the test.]

Perhaps a tactic like this would have gotten an emotional reaction out of Athos when he had been younger, looking upon the reincarnated form of his brother, but he kept his cool about him. He knew just exactly what the two men were and how they came to be the way they were. The redhead let a long breath roll out of his nostrils,"Hey there, Kirk."  His golden hues moved to Bocchiere now as he commented a simple,"Fucker.." He would cross his arms afterwards.

Now, seeing that his advance forward hadn't been stopped, the distance between them was now less than a total of ten meters. It was the moment when his feet made the step that officially made the distance six meters. When this distance was reached, Athos would do a few things in the same moment.

The first being the movement of his right hand. At the angle Bocchiere and Athos were now standing, the man had purposely made it so that he could weave his hand into three quick seals without Bocchiere being able to see them. These hand seals would bring to life a barrier that would expand outwards, reaching Bocch's location in less than a moment and robbing the all other people except Jay and Athos of their ability to use Space-Time abilities. The barrier spread to a total of 100 Meters.

The second thing that happened would be the activation of the second barrier, one that would physically take it's form once it reached it's full length of 50 meters total. This barrier had been used to easily contain raging Jinchuuriki, more than capable of being able to keep the five men inside for the time being.

Finally, sort of, there was the last move of his assault. But it had happened half a second before he started to activate the barriers. Athos would have tapped into his Nara abilities and stretched his own shadow into that of a single blade of grass... Which fed into another and another and you get the point. Seeing as each blade of grass had already been touching, taking over their shadows would be essentially instantaneous.

With this, Athos' chakra would have aimed to lock onto the shadows of Bocchiere, Madara, and Kirk with that thin line of shadow. Hopefully the move would connect and when/if it did, the size of the shadows would increase to the normal possession size. With this, Athos hoped to steal the men's movements and Space-Time usage.

Firstly Bocchiere would enter his Demon Fox Chakra Mode, his highest tier Kurama transformation. Since his Akatsuki ring passively drew on his chakra at all times to fill its battery this would increase the size of the passive Anti-Space-Time barrier it created to be the same size as Athos'. Unlike the ginger's barrier, which were apparently visible to the naked eye, this barrier was invisible to everything but the Rinnegan. This would also make him more than strong enough to resist the Shadow Possession on himself. Then, using the full strength of his chakra mode, he'd jab both thumbs into his eyes and bite down on his tongue. He'd of course use his Incineration Technique to avoid any damage but, since the user of Shadow Possession is forced to mimic their victim's movements, should they be strong enough or forced to move by an outside force, Athos would be forced to do the same.

Now the man may be the "Strongest Shield" but logically his body parts could not all be equally as tough. Overall his entire body is much tougher than a normal human but his bones would still be tougher than his skin, his skin tougher than his eyes, etc. So Athos would be force to jab his Strongest Shield fingernails into his eyes along with Strongest Shield teeth onto his tongue. Logically his nails and teeth would be stronger than his tongue and eyes. This combined with the fact that he had to exert the same force as Bocchiere was empowered by his Demon Fox Mode meant Athos should at least inflict damage upon himself comparative to a normal human, which would be to puncture his eyes and bite his tongue in half.

At the same time Kirk would open the 7th of the 8 Gates. He'd use the enhanced strength to break the Shadow Possession on himself and jab his thumb into his chest just above his heart, opening the 8th and final Gate and entering the Eight Gates Released Formation. His body would be engulfed by a flaming red aura, his skin turning deep red, and his hair bursting into flames, the carefully manicured spikes exploding into a long flowing mane of Super Saiyan 3-esque fire. He'd blitz Athos while the man was hopefully occupied with having made himself blind and mute. The distance between them was negligible so he'd throw the first punch of the Evening Elephant combo before moving and the force would be enough to blast Athos back into his barrier wall and several damage it. The remaining combo would hopefully be enough to break the barrier and kill Athos, as Kirk charged in closer to finish the rest of the combo after the first punch.

Meanwhile Madara would ascend his eyes into their Rinnegan state and form his full skeletal Susano'o around himself. He'd extend a hand toward Jay and use Bansho Ten'in to attempt to pull the man toward himself, and his Susano'o, which would form a sword in its hand before throwing it and spinning the weapon like a massive buzz-saw, aiming to cut Jay in half at the waist as he was inexorably pulled toward the weapon.

His eyes, trained on the fighters, noticed everything that was going to happen in such a fashion that made him seem just a bit like his cyborg compatriot. He was capable of entering an even higher state, but he wouldn't as of yet. Theta brain waves and his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan was enough at the moment.

He noticed the shadow of his sensei stretching out just as it began and when it connected, he saw the demonic energy within the Jashinist increasing immensely as he began to enter the full Demon Fox Chakra Mode. [Just like I told you, he would.] Matatabi echoed in his mind, speaking in such speed and clarity that the immortal's transformation hadn't even been completed. Being a Nara and have achieved mastery of Shadow Manipulation, he knew full well of the strengths and weaknesses of Shadow Manipulation, and Bocchiere was aware as well. With his perceptive abilities of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and the fact that he hadn't moved any closer, he was able to notice the preparations of each of the trio of immortals and he followed suit as well, using his own chakra flexibility to his advantage.

While he wasn't able to see Bocchiere's Anti-Space-Time barrier, he was quick to notice the connection to the marker underneath his foot had been severed. Also the fact that the same man was perceived to lift his thumbs up towards his eyes meant that Athos' Strongest Shield weak points were in obvious danger of being exploited. As the Raikon's student, he was fully aware of such weaknesses. While it could be said that his sensei would be fully capable of simply canceling his shadow technique at the exact point that the Demon Fox Chakra Mode had been activated and control was superseded, but the Nara was still going to do what he needed to do.

But he wouldn't focus on Bocchiere at all, because his gaze noticed the gates opening one after the other in the Edo body of Kirk. Madara's Edo chakra was moving in such a fashion that resembled that of Dojutsu ascension and Susano'o activation. While not ignoring Madara, Kirk's version of ascension was the more dangerous as he noticed the Seventh Gate had been opened and control of the shadow that had been attached to him, had been superseded as well as his own movements were perceived as well.

Not one to be left standing like a deer in headlights, his chakra had finished it's preparations as well, mimicking Kirk's actions of opening his gates in the same amount of time. Without his Gravity Seals, his already immense speed was enhanced by the opening of his own Seventh Gate(1) his own regenerative abilities would keep the downside of opening the gates rather non-existent. He wasted very little time in making his move, his body enhanced by the effects of opening the Seventh Gate, a pulse of heat, evaporating his sweat in a bluish-green aura of power and a pulse of chakra(2) a result of Myaku Seikei that he's developed months prior to discard the need of hand seals and increases the rate of speed, at which techniques can be used. He burst forward with pure unadulterated speed, aiming to cover the miniscule 20 meters in a quarter of a second, his technique activating as he did so, the electricity was converted into light and shined brightly in the immediate vicinity, which could range from 50 to 65 meters in every direction, which only extended in the direction he was heading, (pushing it to 70 to 85 meters by the time he reached Kirk) hopefully before the man jammed his finger above his heart.

Because of the chakra in the light, and the rate at which he was moving (unknowingly resulting in the complete avoidance of the Bansho Ten'in), the shadows of the technique would evaporate, disconnecting the control Bocchiere had gained over his sensei and the shadows of the others as well. The light itself would last 3 seconds, and those with their Dojutsu and chakra sensing abilities would find it hard pressed to not suffer from the sharp pain and forced blindness from the sudden bright light that filled the area. Unfortunately, Athos would have been effected, but his pure Taijutsu prowess and awareness would make up for the lack of sight for the moment.

Back to his action. When he closed the distance, his afterimages unseen because of the light, he'd attempt to connect with his technique before Edo Kirk could pierce himself with his thumb. The light having multiple impacts on the field of battle, other than getting rid of the shadows and blinding everyone around him. It would also hide his final action of this post. Fully aware of the soul that was Edo Kirk, and his own abilities in combatting with one's own soul and damaging another's, his inception into the Seventh Gate bore another fruit of labor. A mere centimeter away from Edo Kirk, very nearly touching him, his own fists would be covered in a spectral flame, reminiscent to the flames of Amaterasu but entirely different. As he moved to land a total of 27 hits(3) in rapid succession, which would last for the entire 3 seconds his light would be active, 9 hits per second. The very first hit moved to impact the Edo Zombie's heart, just to prevent the activation of the Eighth Gate, next would move to cover the entire Brute's frame aiming to destroy the soul entirely, leaving no way of Reanimating/Reviving the man, but it's OOC so Athos shouldn't be too pissed off >.>

If everything happened in the time frame as he made it, his speed, technique, and the rate of processing the information given to him through the lens of an already perceptive Dojutsu (the sheer fact that he was able of reacting to what he sees through his Eternal Sharingan, especially with the Seventh Gate active as well) all acting in his favor (even though Bocchiere would have his own thumbs in his Incinerating Eyes, avoiding the light. But if he was to pull his thumbs out in those three seconds, he would be affected). Ehh, (Don't like how that whole thing was put together, but it should still be understandable) by the time the light faded, the Nara would hopefully be standing above the body Bocchiere used as a sacrifice to Reincarnate Kirk in the first place. On his back, the flaming kanji for sin, '罪' would be visible on his back, despite nobody being able to see it because it would only last for a second.

(Per the demand of the challenger and my partner, on some level, I have prepared this repost.)

While the others can argue that his attempt at preventing something was cray cray, what he noticed was not. He knew the man had formed the Demon Fox Cloak to make up for the 40% loss of his own chakra reserves from the summoning of these two Edo Tensei zombies. And he was going to capitalize on that fact and the fact that Bocchiere would only be forced to remain on the defensive as long as these two weren't sealed in the fight.

Same as the others, his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan was incredibly perceptive and fully capable of recording subtle and not so subtle movements, physical and chakra based. He was also quite the paranoia, as any shinobi/kunoichi should be, and as he noticed everything that was fixing to happen, his Theta State processing it instantly. Because his alternate universe's counterpart had been bashed in it's attempt of preventing harm towards his sensei, he was going to let everything that his opponent wanted to happen to at least actually try to happen. But remaining idle in the fight, was not going to happen.

Instead of going into the Seventh Gate, like his alternate universe version did so, he chose to use one of the tomoe at the end of his karate belt to enter Sage Mode(1). Black pigments appeared around his eyes much like a raccoon, a thin bar ran down his cheeks, connected to the end of the dark pigments, located over his temples. His sclera turned from white to black, the crimson of his Dojutsu all the more prominent, making him resemble the Edo Tensei zombies. Because he used the tomoe, he would be in Sage Mode for the next four turns.

And instead of attempting to help his sensei in what was going to happen towards him, he simply focused on Madara instead, noting the Susanoo’s skeletal structure. He felt the pulling sensation of the true Ghost’s Bansho Ten’in, but unless the zombie was knowingly pulling with at least 6 tons of force (More than 250 pounds of what he was used too, his cloak weighing around 500 pounds alone.) otherwise, he wouldn’t budge an inch from the technique. But without knowing the specifics of his weight (205) times how much he weighs while under the effects of his Gravity Seals at level 10 (50) which would then move to equal how much weight that was contained in his frame, the formula of the seal specifically designed to not make the weight of 10,250 pounds completely safe, especially since he had been increasing it for nearly all the time he’s been around (SL) without zero complaints. This, of course, didn’t count the weight from his cloak. And since it wasn’t explicably stated by his opponent, he would move to capitalize on this blunder.

So, when he said he was literally designed for speed, he meant exactly that. Along with the physical boosts (strength, speed, durability, etc) of Sage Mode, he’d also activate Argent(2) over his hands. The metal of the complex alloy seamlessly wrapped around the contours of his hands and fingers, seemingly looking like flimsy pieces of thinly layered gauntlets. Because of the seals decorating the seals seared on the metal in Islamic styled characters, increasing the weight of the gauntlets by three light, for him, tons. The Ant Seal was also seared into the metal and it would aim to increase the punching power into an even 30 tons of force.

As this was happening, he rushed forward with a burst of Sage enhanced speed, moving in a zig-zagging motion. As he moved to cover the 20 meter distance, his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan/Theta State combo helped him in calculating the flight path of the spinning weapon. Because of the nature of his approach, mixed with the speed of said approach, he was able to harmlessly go through the buzz saw like weapon, when in fact he moved to effectively chase the blade of the sword as it spun as waist-height. Something like that was completely possible for anyone who was fast enough, which he prided himself on, surely a deep sin of his but nonetheless true.

As he hopefully passed the weapon as he intended, his Sage enhanced orbs aiming to make it so, he would move to hit the skeletal structure of the Susanoo with a powerful punch and a roar of pure chakra. The force of the punch, only enhanced by his Sage Mode, was not only capable of shattering complete Susanoos, but would also create a deep and wide trench in the ground behind the duo(3). (Kirk most likely having follow through with his Eighth Gate attack towards Athos) Due to said force, the ash-like body of the Edo Tensei Madara would hopefully be enough to rip it asunder completely and hopefully giving him a 5 turn regeneration period.

1- Sage Mode

2- Argent Activation

3- [Shotgun Punch]

Talk about getting the rug pulled from right under your feet, pain coursing through Athos' body the moment he found his own teeth tearing through it. Those golden hues of his had taken in the sight of the now Kurama Enhanced Bocchiere, widening as the black pupils within his eyes would take the form of his EMS, though they wouldn't really play into the effects of what he was going to do. Athos had known what happened when his tongue was bitten off, blood filling his mouth, and he would instantly snap his shadow away from Bocchiere, just before he found his own thumbs driving straight into his eyes. In that moment, Bocchiere had taken control of Athos and because of that, he would have also taken control of Madara and Kirk, each of them being forced to mimic each of the aforementioned actions and stopping Kirk momentarily from being able to do anything for only moments...

The second that Athos had severed connections with Kirk, he found himself still not under control of his own body, Madara being forced to copy the two brothers in their act. Athos had almost no time as Kirk went to plunge his thumb towards his chest and if he released the hold on Kirk, there would be an unstoppable force on the field... So there really was only one thing that Athos could have done in that moment. He summoned forth lightning around his hand as his thumb came towards his chest, calling forth the One Finger Nukite upon his digit, letting it plunge into the Gate that was located within his heart. In the second before his skin was pierced, Athos' left eye would spin rapidly as he would utilize the control of his Senju cells and activate Izanagi. This gave him one minute, tops.

Athos' tongue wound would have already scabbed over and began to fully recover thanks to his healing factor, but he had held the blood in his mouth as not to start choking on it for those moments. But when his Eighth Gate was opened and the red vapor of the demon came from him, his mouth opened as he let out a breath and instead of the blood that was there before, red steam would escape his mouth. His long hair, which had fallen to his waist, would have seemed to become fire as this attack activated. Now, as the Eighth Gate was forced open thanks to Kirk, several things would happen. In this moment, Kirk would no longer be in control of his own body again, seeing he had no way of overpowering Athos' Shadow Possession. And because of the newly acquired strength of the Uzumaki, Madara would also find himself unable to stop Athos, even if he had happened to be a user of the Gates as well.

But the most important thing out of all of this was the moment that Athos had control over his body again, he moved to strike. It was stated before that Bocchiere and Athos were merely six meters apart, which really wasn't all that great of a distance when you consider the rate either of them could move right now. Currently, it came down to who was faster and even in his upgraded form, thanks to the Eighth Gate, Bocchiere should stand no chance. Athos' left hand flew from his side and from it came the first of five attacks as he would begin the Evening Elephant, stepping forward into the attack as it flew forward. It would take almost no time at all for the force of the attack to reach Bocchiere, almost as though it would have started right in front of his face once Athos' arm moved. But unlike Kirk had planned to do, Athos wasn't going to stop at one of the strikes.

For the first time in what lifetimes but had been years Athos felt something burning inside of his stomach; anger. Bocchiere was the man who had single-handedly torn his life apart countless times, for nothing but his own amusement most of the time. No, Athos wasn't going to stop at the first strike as he thought of the first time his soul left this planet. Had the first strike hit Bocchiere, though it was hard to see it not doing so, given how easily the move had taken care of the Ten Tails Jinchuuriki, he wouldn't find himself making it close to the barrier before the second strike would hopefully come from behind. The force greater than the first's, already enough to cause Bocchiere to see black from the sheer force alone. Even as he felt muscles tearing in his whole body, he didn't stop. He couldn't, the man had taken things much worse than his own life. His love, the third strike would come from underneath Bocchiere as he was sent careening forward uncontrollable, sending him upwards and causing all the organs in his body to shift suddenly and at an extremely dangerous angle.

Even as he felt his bones threatening to break, he couldn't stop. He had buried so many of his own children, unable to stop Bocchiere. Not anymore. The forth would come from above and from the front, having come faster than the others had and carrying all the hate and pain that he had for the Jashinist, the man who tormented not only this realm, but his life for so long. And even as right hand broke beneath all the force finally, he didn't stop the fifth strike that would come. Not anymore, he wouldn't fall victim, he wouldn't lose someone. That wasn't how this was going to go. The fifth strike would come faster than them all and hit the hardest, from above and behind Bocchiere. This blow would send him facing downwards and into the ground, if he could even use any of his organs at this point, or if they were even organs still and not something akin to literal mush. The last blow would drive Bocchiere into the ground with his face buried in it, deep into the ground, and hopefully leave the man unable to do, well, anything. Despite all the pain he was feeling, ribs broken as well as his right arm, his willpower and anger would keep him going. He would end this today.

Now Kirk had tried to strike Athos with this technique but would be unable since the redhead would be in control of him and even if Kirk had decided to still mimic Athos fully and decided to release the Evening Elephant, Athos would be out of his range instantly and not only that, but his shadow would still be connected to Kirk as he struck Bocchiere each time. What this meant was that Kirk would not only pass by Athos, Jay, and the whole battle but he would helplessly be forced to waste away his 'life' and tear his body apart until the point where he could no longer move. And preformed the Evening Elephant would only cause Kirk's time of activity shortened. The same could be said about Madara but only if he had the Eighth Gates and wasn't destroyed by Jay's attack. Had Madara survived and not been a user of the Gates, his body would be forced to go at rates that it wouldn't be able to keep up with, muscles, bone, and tendons tearing him to the point of no humanly return, at least without a long revive and healing time.

It was easy to say that Bocchiere could try to react to the attack, though one could say he doubted Athos would let Kirk force him into the Eighth Gate, having hoped to also catch him on the guard. The Jashinist could try and turn himself into fire, that was for sure, but if he did that the sheer force and speed of the Evening Elephant would be able to extinguish the flames from existence with great ease. It would also go to show Bocchiere wouldn't be able to see currently, thanks to the fact that he stabbed his own eyes in an attempt to steal Athos' sight and would have no way of knowing Athos barely stopped himself from losing his eyes, meaning that techniques like Izanagi and any Space-Time or just Space Ninjutsu were out of the question as well. This technique was enough to temporarily stop the Ten Tails, one could imagine what it would do to Bocchiere, even with his immortality and healing factor, things the Ten Tails Jinchuuriki had also had to greater levels.

Notes Athos is correct, while it is unclear if one victim of Shadow Possession would affect another with their movement, by making Athos move who controls the jutsu his movements would be forced onto Madara. So the Uchiha would also enter the 8 Gates Released Formation, along with Athos and Kirk, his Susano'o dispersing.

Bocchiere, seeing that Athos had followed Kirk's movement and was also opening the 8th Gate would use his Corridor of Infinity Technique between himself and Athos, increasing the space between them while not actually visibly increasing the distance, as Athos' Shadow Possession was released. This was possible since the technique was Spatial Ninjutsu and was not inhibited by the anti-space-time barriers. As he threw the first punch of his Sekizo combo the concussive blast would reach roughly half way between Athos and Bocchiere before stopping, seemingly suspended in mid-air. It would still look like it was moving, but it would not get any closer to Bocchiere. This would continue till the point that it would naturally disperse, likely only a few seconds due to the volatile nature of the attack, "Don't you get it yet? You're like the monkey trying to catch the moon. No matter how much you struggle and thrash you don't even realize you're only striking at its reflection on the water, and all you'll ever do is sink to the bottom. You'll never reach me." Bocchiere would hop backward, keeping his eyes on the action, and retreat as far away as the barrier would allow, whilst maintaining his Corridor. This way any forward movement Athos may have allegedly taken wouldn't matter at all.

Kirk would dash forward to throw the first punch of his Sekizo combo at Athos from the man's left, interrupting his combo after the first punch. This direction would of course be unaffected by the Corridor of Infinity, since it only affected space in a straight line between Athos and Bocchiere. The large blast would be aimed to strike Athos and then continue on to strike Jay, since they were now quite close to each other with Jay charging in to strike Madara. Athos would have to deal with Kirk before making any further attacks on Bocchiere.

Madara would use Sekizo as well, throwing a punch toward Jay as he threw his punch at Madara. The superior force of the 8th Gate would cause the force of Jay's own punch to be thrown back at him along with the force of the Sekizo punch. This meant that Jay was going to be struck by his own punch and two Sekizo punches, one from the front and one from his left. Sage Mode or not one punch from Guy's Sekizo was enough to blow Madara several hundred straight through the earth. Two would likely be more than enough to kill Jay, not that they were going to stop there.

Both Madara and Kirk would change their eyes back to their Sharingan form and begin to assault Jay and Athos with the remaining punches of their Sekizo combo. Each strike would be aimed to hit both Athos and Jay coming one after another without a moment in between them, forcing the two closer together with each punch. Each punch would come from alternating directions so as Kirk threw a punch from Athos' left Madara would throw one from the right, and so on as they attacked all around the duo, before ending with two simultaneous punches from above, blasting the two of them into the earth. Each punch would be stronger and faster than the one that came before it, ending with the 5th punch that would bury the two. The final punch by itself is strong enough to shatter a Truth Seeking Orb shield, while the combination of several is enough to temporarily immobilize the 10 Tails Jinchuriki. It went without saying that since there were two users they were both being hit by 10 punches instead of the usual five, making it seemingly impossible that they could defend themselves from what is likely the strongest flurry of blows ever launched.

Athos was already in Izanagi but since Jay did not have Senju blood he would not be able to perform the jutsu without handsigns, making it highly unlikely he could activate it before being killed by the two 8th Gate users.

Athos was also in the 8th Gate himself, making it possible for him to parry the first strike from Kirk with a Sekizo of his own. However as soon as he did that he would be struck with a punch from Madara, and the combo would continue unabated from there. There was simply no way he could deal with both of them himself.

The only time Bocchiere would be in the crossfire of this assault was if any of the punches were coming straight toward him, and of course his spatial technique would stop any of those from reaching him, so he was in no danger.
