Exhaled the excess air he had out his nose as he formulated from being a cloud of smoke to being a flesh and blood human being. His eyes, in their Rinnie state scanned the area, identifying anything by their chakra including Athos. He inhaled through his nose and this time exhaled again, only this time a thick black smoke covered around his body in a twisting fashion, resembling that of a snake. The smoke exuded the properties of the preta path, being that it could and would absorb foreign chakra. He stood in the middle as he awaited his sensei. He had only hoped to take this seriously, as Ray intended to. Regardless of victor.
In his mindscape a deep voice would ring out throughout his, Ray's, head.

"You know, you should be careful. The 6 tails is still powerful though he is below me." The nanabi would chime in. Causing Ray to smile.

"Thanks for worrying." The Kabutomushi would make a sound like hmph as their relationship had indeed grown considerably through training. Now all that would be left would be to use it in a fight.

Athos would slowly roll his shoulders as began to step across the long and endlessly rolling fields, feeling the grass crunch beneath each of his bare feet as he took each step. The man's figure was a towering six feet and seven inches tall, not that it really needed to be stated at this point, but it just felt wrong without that detail. The man's crimson silk hair fell short of his ass by just a few inches, though that didn't mean it was long as hell, but this was also a fact that didn't need to be stated. The man's clothing was simple, a completely black training gi, not because he was going to treat this fight as as training session but because it was easily one of the outfits Athos felt more comfortable fighting in, for hopefully obvious reasons.

*You ready for this, Athos? I can feel your uncertainty.* There was a soft scoff from Athos as he was able to pick up on the strength that was coming from both Ray and his chakra pool, sensing him in a really unconventional way,"It doesn't matter, Sai-kun, because we need to continue on this path. Together." It felt nice being able to say that word again when referring to the two of them, a grin slowly forming on the ex-Uzumakian Leader's lips. *Just don't hold back, Ray surely isn't going to.* To that idea Athos had nodded his head in agreement just as his student came into view.

It would also be good to note that on his elbows and knees were the pieces of tech called Tutumen, with only the sword called Oken resting on his hip,"You two ready for this?"

Athos's defining features would not be lost upon Ray or probably anyone on Sl for that matter. To show he meant business, Ray would use a form that he doesnt show others unless he respects them, or wants to kill them. Surrounded by a purple light, His body would change, as his height jumps up from 5'10 to that of 6'3. From there bull horns would grow upon his head, with illegible runes engraved into them, with a royal purple hue covering them. His body would change to that of a satyr but his upper body remained human. Once this transformation happened, the runes that decorated the horns would travel down Ray's body, over his eyes, and glow a darker royal purple than before. With this finally done, all his physical traits would be the same as someone in their version 2 tailed beast state. This wasn't Ray's or a sage mode as this didn't enhance his abilities at all just physical traits. His eyes still Rinne, peered upon his former sensei.

"Come." would be the only words offered, before he'd await Athos' attack.

As Ray's features began to change and shift, Athos would let his brow slowly raise as he looked his student over, the normal black pupils of Athos' eyes shifting into that of the Mangekyo Sharingan,"The fucking Rinnegan..." The redhead muttered under his breath, that Dojutsu always being more than a pain in the ass when it came to fighting anyone, but at least he knew what abilities that it had and hopefully wasn't going to find himself caught off guard.

Now, Athos hadn't needed to use any transformations yet, even as his student beckoned for him to take the first attack, the man didn't feel the need to call upon his other powers. The man would move to take a step forward being it seemed like he had utilized Shunshin, appearing just off to the right side of Ray, and having brought his right foot up to slam into the ribs of Ray's now enlarge body. Ray knew the speed at which Athos could move normally, the Iburi having his Rinnegan active and not the Sharigan to help his sight, meaning that his Sensei had tried to strike before he could react. The force behind the blow would be enough to bruise and possibly crack a few of his ribs and send the youth tumbling across the ground roughly.

Would let Athos's kick, or so it seems. The moment the kick would make contact with skin, the foot would find no resistance, as Ray's body turned to smoke, or mainly his upper body. Immediately, when the foot would seem to go through, Ray would use Shinra Tensei sending Athos flying clear across the field. The force would easily shatter Athos' bones as well as a hard landing he would have upon connecting with the earth below him again. After using this move, Ray would have a small wait time before he could use it again since it wasn't a massive scale attack. (1 post.)

Hopefully Ray had not expected this attack to work on Athos, at least not in the way that the youth had been hoping it was going to work. The Shinra Tensei would strike Athos with all the intended force and strength that was behind it but there was not a single bone within his body that would break, or even bruise, when the force met his body. He had been on one foot, with the other raised, when the strike would hit him though and that would cause him to be sent backwards into a tumble but only for a few feet before the towering figure of Athos would be upright on his feet, stumbling backwards in what seemed to be clumsy steps as he gathered himself. That was definitely not exactly how things were expected to go within Athos' mind.

But now that he knew the Deva Path was out of the question, Athos would roll his shoulders as his right hand would preform a single handseal and release the Power Limiter that had been on his form, which would immediately and essentially double his strength and speed, both of which already outclassed most people by a long shot. With this newfound speed he would take off towards Ray, each one of his footsteps cracking and breaking the ground as he came towards the youth on his left, Ray's eyes most likely having no possible way of following Athos within the Rinnegan state, seeing as they did extremely little to help perceive movements. This time, with his newfound strength, Athos would end up attempting to strike Ray again.

Athos' first punch would come from his right fist in an attempt to strike him right in the ribs with enough force to literally shatter his bones to dust upon contact and cause several of his internal organs to rupture, or at least come close to it. With a single punch did Athos attempt to handicap, cripple, and maim Ray to bring this fight to an end.

Snorted, seeing as his sensei wouldn't be taken down easy. Upon when Athos would be trying to correct himself, his eyes would shift to their Ems State, and when Athos would take off towards Ray, He would match that speed possibly outclassing with his own. As of right now his defense, strength, speed and healing are on the same level as someone in a version 2 form of their bijuu state. However utilizing a bit of chakra in his right palm, a black orb would form, which he'd hold compressed in his palm and when Athos went to punch, Ray would see the path thanks to his Ems, allowing him to effectively dodge and counter with the black orb which would be nothing more than a compressed explosion. The orb, aimed for Athos' midsection, when made contact with Athos' skin would explode outwards, and with them both being ontop each other, escaping would be very unlikely. The explosion would be destructive enough incinerate Athos, leaving him a pile of ash.

Seeing as Athos could beat a Bijuu in a fight in his base state, the fact that Athos' stats were essentially doubled right now meant that it didn't matter if Ray could keep up with someone in their Version 2 state, seeing as Athos could take on something much stronger and faster than that with ease. But to be fair, one could assume that Ray somehow had made it so that he reacted and dodged Athos' attack, coming to try and strike Athos with his own. Now it was at this moment that Ray had essentially set himself up for disaster.

The two men were no more than a foot or two from another, seeing as Ray had been trying to slam a black ball of energy directly into him in an attempt to kill him... But Athos had just the counter, and he made sure to wait for just a moment or so before Ray's attack would connect before he would activate. From his body would come forth an almost instant barrier that spread out to a total of ten feet, and within those ten feet, all chakra and buffs would instantly be ripped away from Ray. Ray would instantly lose all connections with his chakra, with his beasts, and any other type of power up that he had. Meaning that if Ray's part animal form required any type of energy to sustain it, that it would cancel and he would revert back to normal. It would also mean that Ray's eyes would be reverted into their base state, lacking both the EMS and Rinnegan. But the thing about this was that it also made the same things happen to Athos, meaning that his own eyes would revert back to their normal state. This would be the man's Deadzone Creation, an area in which no chakra can exist.

Now in this moment, Ray's bare hand would come to press against Athos because the attack that was there would essentially be erased from existence, leaving the two of them with nothing but their fists. Now without any chakra and in his current form, Athos could obliterate whole mountains within a bunch, destroy Susanoos with ease, and as said before, even fight Bijuu. Ray would no longer have any type of Dojutsu to help him follow Athos, the man having needed it before to see him, and that meant Athos would hopefully be able to end this fight before Ray even knew what happened.

Athos' left hand would have blurred forward, aiming to crash directly into the chest of Ray, which would be meant with the sickening snaps of his bones instantly becoming a spider-web and then dust, almost in a cartoon style, the force from the blow strong enough to shatter his ribs as well. The damage that would be done to his organs could be the same as his bones, probably turning them to paste, or doing deathly damage to them, with a single punch. But that wasn't the only thing he was going to do, his right first coming with as much force and strength he could muster, aiming to drive his fist directly into the right side of Ray's face. Now the first blow had come faster than Ray could see and threatened to kill Ray, the second would kill Ray even if the first one had missed. The second blow, if it connected with Ray's head, would literally obliterate his skull and cause a horrible explosion of blood to fly backwards across the green grass that was behind Ray, followed by the disgusting amount of blood that would spurt out of Ray's body where his head had once been. Again, Athos could shatter a mountain in his range with ease, so doing the same to a human head that currently had no buffs was more than easy.

The Deadzone would only last Athos' action, meaning Ray would have to somehow find a way to dodge those attacks without access to any of his jutsu, the man having already been in the middle of trying to punch Athos in the stomach. The Deadzone took no handseals, so Athos hopped to have punched Ray's head off his shoulders before Ray had even processed that his chakra was gone and his life was over. Hopefully this ended the fight.

The deadzone would catch Ray however, he wouldn't need to worry much. Ray's own fighting prowress would be high in general as well. His base form could dish out close to two tonnes of power behind each fist and with recognition of his move dissipating, he'd utilize his Iburi body to dodge any incoming attacks. Ray didn't use any chakra or energy of any sort to utilize this body of smoke. Since the barrier was only 10 feet, jump right out of the zones range. When he did, his eyes returned to their Rinne state, though he stayed in his normal form. He just kept his eyes on Athos, as he jumps back to about 35 meters before he'd begin to gather chakra through out his body. How he'd use it would be in accordance of Athos.

The moment his hand touch and their would be no explosion alerted Ray to whatever Athos had done. Using his wits, he'd push forward, his head going towards Athos chest then down towards the ground, meaning Athos would punch out Ray's legs rather than the initial impact areas he'd had originally hoped. He'd wince at the pain, but the moment the two blows landed, He knew he couldn't use them again, yet anyways. Using his hands as springs and using his strength, that pack a minimum of 2 tonnes of power, he'd push off the ground using that strength, and shoot up into the air above Athos, outside and away from the zone. Once outside this Zone, his body would begin to heal itself via a pink smoke, that would begin repairing the bones. This wouldn't take long and he could defend himself long enough to get back on his feet, as he lands in a nearby tree.

The gruesome sight that Athos had painted before would come to life, though not in the exactly manner he had originally planned. Athos' left hand would have tried to strike Ray right in his chest, so when the man decided to throw his head towards Athos' chest, that action would do absolutely nothing to stop Athos' punch from shattering his bones and almost exploding his heart as he had planned. Ray had been claiming to somehow flip his entire body, while he was in the middle of a strike, before Athos' punches could land, a feature that would turn Ray into a pretzel before it actually worked.

With Ray having essentially thrown himself into Athos' punch, it meant that the second one would be able to strike Ray's head and obliterate from his shoulders. But now Ray's head would have been by Athos' chest, again seeing as it made no sense as to how Ray would flip completely upside down when him and Athos were practically hugging each other, and that meant when it would be struck and splattered, the crimson blood and brain matter of Ray would not only stain the green grass, but a good portion of the front half of Athos. And as Ray's blood would start to spurt out his neck like a water fountain, the rest of Athos would seen follow in being coated in blood.

no sense as to how Ray would flip completely upside down when him and Athos were practically hugging each other

While quoting the combatants, you can see that I took out the lot of the extra text, because its not needed to make the decision. Now, before I start, I'm letting it be known that, while I know both of these people, in regards to decision making, they are complete strangers to me. It's quite easy for me to dissociate my ties with someone when the time comes, so lets get started.

Starting with the Nanabi Jinchuriki's decision to get up close and personal with the Rokubi Jinchuriki. Closing the distance and stating to be on top of each other is a rather crucial piece of information while thinking of a response.

The R.J's response was the complex network of seals combined into one, the Deadzone Creation. According to the Wiki, this eliminates all form of energies, effectively turning all inside into real life humans. Weak ass beings with only their training to determine their worth. Of course, physical things like strength and speed, reaction time and perception, durability and will power is all that remains.

The R.J would continue with two attacks, the first with a straight left and the next and right hook.

The N.J would answer this with pushing his head into the R.J's chest and attempting to drag himself down the R.J's frame. With N.J's aforementioned speed, which I didn't believe I had to point out and his physical momentum should not allow this. Attempting to flip oneself while being so close to someone is not possible given the time of events. A shove could have worked where this failed, thus it'd make the rest of the actions a complete waste.

Seeing the mistake, the R.J made sure to capitalize on it and continue with his previous actions. With the infamous strength possessed by the R.J, close combat is extremely dangerous. With the N.J's status as an immortal, with healing more focused through his smoke (as seen by the part of the post that wouldn't matter), time would be all he needed. Whether or not the N.J could survive damage to his brain, giving his immortality, is not in question. Whether or not he would be able to heal himself is and seeing as how I'm making a decision, I don't believe we'll have the chance to see such.

Thus, with that said, in my opinion, I do believe that the R.J is the winner. If either of the Jinchuriki are satisfied with this decision or dissatisfied with the decision, feel free to let me know and/or decide on a new judge.

Now I need a end statement that's clever and witty so I can make Wiz and Boomstick proud... Hmm... something smoke related...... it looks like Ray got smoked out.... ahh that sucked. Looks like Ray got put in the no smoking zone.... ugh that was worst. Uhhh, how about something Athos related.... *le gasp* Looks like Ray, got schooled by his teacher... damn it why is this so hard... not that type of hard. Stop typing dammit!!!

The winner is Athos... the asshole that killed my brothers... asshole.
