Kaze stalked into the windy plains, his wooden geta shoes clomping solidly across the dirt. He'd take watch in the center of the field, standing there awaiting his opponent. Veins would bulge around his pale white eyes as he activated his Byakugan and he'd set down the satchel he had slung over his back.

Once on the ground the satchel would stir as a Hercules Beetle the size of a small dog wriggled it's way out from its burlap enclosure. "Ayy what's the big idea Muscle Head? What are we doing here?" the bug named Kyojin would chirp out.

Kaze lifted one gloved hand to the tattered sleeveless cloak he wore on his back. He'd toss the garment into the air with a flourish, revealing the seal for his Hikari no Chōetsu-Shin no Jutsu on his back as well as the Fuinjutsu that sealed the Seven Tails within him. "Someone's coming, someone strong. Hold on tight."

The insect would reply by quickly scuttling onto Kaze's back as his cloak struck the ground with a resounding crash. The weighted training clothing would cause a ten foot wide crater to form behind Kaze, just out of the way of him. It was weighted down with super dense pieces of metal stitched into it, created by Kaze's Steel Release, and also marked for his Hikari no Chōetsu-Shin no Jutsu, though they were hidden inside the cloth. The sun bore down from on high but Kaze did not sweat, though his fists were clenched at his side.

The Yondaime Otokage could be found in the same plains that Kaze found himself stumbling upon. Funny how the two individuals with the most biju stumbled upon one another seemingly at random, funny how things worked out. The Yondaime was situated on a small rock some 75 meters away, his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan already active.

The Otokage was adorned in his typical kage attire, minus the hat. A melody gauntlet adorned one of his arms, signifying his usage in Ototon although that was a gimmie if the stranger knew who he was. In the palm of one of his hands was an air tube hole, and in the other a Iwagakure kinjutsu mouth, that was also found on his chest. Finally, the Yondaime also had a clay pouch strapped behind him, ten kunai that hung off his belt all marked for hiraishin, and a black lightning tattoo on his shoulder. One couldn't say he was unprepared

The Otokage with hand upon chin in a slouched position briefly glimpsed at the man and his oddity of a creature. If Kaze looked back and was of the Sage inclination, he would notice that the Yondaime constantly collected natural energy, without the help of any other creature. He may also notice the undead features of his foe, should he be familiar with Edo Tensei. This was a neat little parlor trick to say the least. The Yondaime finally let out a soft sigh, predicting what was to come next. His emotionless self was prepared to act through the motions of caring to struggle for his undead life. Perhaps this foe would put him in retirement?

Note:
Fight is also IC
The following things are also void:
-Even if you use clones or summons, you still only get 3 actions
-Swift Release
-Anything to survive 8 gates
-Any of the recent sage power-ups (Tomoe rinngegan, etc, etc)

If the purple sucks to read, let me know. Good luck mate ;)

Kaze would be able to notice the movement of Natural Energy around Trev as he too was a Sage. He could not so freely absorb the energy though, that was what his friend was for. Kyojin, clinging to Kaze's back, would begin to gather Natural Energy with the intent to transfer it to Kaze while he fought.

The man himself would focus his chakra and mentally intone, "Hachimon Tonkō: Kaimon: Kai!" as he release the first of the 8 Gates, allowing him access to 100% of his muscles' strength, rather than the 20% limit people are normally under.

He would then quickly dash toward Trev as he made a single one handed kata. A shiny pair of metallic arms would emerge from the rock where Trev was situated and would attempt to wrap around the man's waist from behind him. An entire metal man would emerge from the rock behind the limbs, a Steel Release version of the simple Earth Release: Golem Technique.

If successful the construct would bridge backward while still holding Trev and drop the Otokage onto the back of his neck with a German Suplex Hold, one strong enough to make a small crater in the ground upon impact.

The construct would not release the hold even if it was successful, as it would attempt to drop him again and again with force that could easily break a man's neck.

Watched carefully as the man dashed towards him, taking quick note of the hand kata and the sudden surge of chakra around him. Thanks to the Sharingan the Sage Sensing, the Yondaime was keen on sniffing out attempt on his life. The cold metallic arms would wrap around his waist, and the Yondaime quickly knew his foe was attempting to get the better of him. In the short amount of time he had to process what was going on, he came to two conclusions.

1. His foe had some sort of metal release kg, hiden, kt or whatever it may be
2. He should probably do something.

Lucky for him, the Yondaime had a whole arsenal of techniques that were only one kata, which he could perform with lighting speed. This would become an annoying theme for his foe. Not having much time upon being gripped, the Otokage would perform the tiger kata. Instantly the Yondaime's body would become fully coated in steel, the same steel that adorned the Golem. This be the Assimilate all Creation Technique.

While he could have likely called it quits there and tanked each and every suplex with the steel body, this wasn't the point of the technique. The secondary ability of the Assimilate Technique to the ability to control any substance similar to what was absorbed and mold it into different forms at will. As one can guess, this applied to the golem. At the apex height of the suplex (highest point before drop) the Yondaime would use his will to manipulate the form of the golem. All at once, the golem would turn into a giant mess of steel powder, with no force to hold him or slam him and no longer serving Kaze. Essentially the technique was hijacked.

Not wishing to fall backwards and allow Kaze and free shot at him, the Yondiame quickly contorted his body as the powder fell beneath him, with no golem to keep it supported. This contortion allowed the Yondaime to go upright and face Kaze as the man dashed towards him, and allow the Yondaime to fall to his feet. To buy himself some reprieve, the Yondaime manipulated said steel powder to flow and attempt to capture and completely encase Kaze.

As that happened and the Yondaime fell to his feet, he would use the extra time bought by Kaze having to deal with the entrapment to spawn susanoo. A Black Etheral Warrior soon manifested around himself with no accessories yet (Susanoo can spawn before a Kirin strike for timing purposes). The entity (think Itachi sized Susanoo) provided the Yondaime with another layer of protection to go with his new steel body, as the Otokage watched for Kaze's reaction. Hopefully Kaze would be familiar with the Assimilate technique and know that most of his steel release attacks were useless.

Kyojin would let the natural energy he had gathered flow into Kaze, allowing the man to enter Hercules Beetle Sage Mode.

Kaze did not know the Assimilate All Creation technique by name but its effect was apparent enough. The Otokage had turned into the same metal his golem was made of and had then turned the material against him. That was metal made from Kaze's chakra so the technique must allow Trev to control whatever kind of material he assimilated.

Thankfully Kaze was not limited to just one kind of metal. Empowered by Sage Mode, and due to the fact that his chakra was already present in the metal Trev was attacking him with, Kaze would make a single one-handed kata as he continued his charge toward Trev and would use his Metalization Technique to change the steel powder into adamantine. Since Trev's control over it was based only on virtue of it being the same material as his body he would lose his control over the metal once it changed.

The adamantine powder would perform an about-face and fly back toward Trev, and more of the substance would be expelled from Kaze's mouth. The powder would fly toward the Susano'o and attempt to lace it's two arms together before Kaze reversed with Trev did and solidified the powder, turning it into nigh-unbreakable adamantine manacles for the Susano'o, restraining it's arms from making any decent attack by binding them in front of the construct.

Kaze would make one more one-handed kata for a Senpo: Kōton: Purizumu Kabe, Sage Art: Photon Release: Prismatic Wall. Manipulating the photons present in the air all around them Kaze would immediately erect a bubble of hard-light all around Trev in an attempt to trap him. It would be a complete sphere, cutting just into the ground below him. It extended several feet from his body, just within the confines of his Susano'o. The barrier, enhanced with Natural Energy, would require incredible force to break, assuming it was successful in trapping Trev.

Was not entirely blind, which was a good thing in this circumstance. The relatively all seeing eye of the Sharingan, combined with other senses such sage's inherent ability to sense, his superb hearing, and negative emotions sensing made Trev quite adapt at understanding the world around him. Although in this case, the Sharingan alone suited just fine, with the others acting as buffers. Thus the change into sage mode and changing of powder into some other material were noted. Although for the latter, it would be more evident considering the Yondaime could feel his will over the technique vanish.

As the material made his way back towards him the Yondaime decided to neither outright avoid, dodge, deflect, or counter act the new substance. Instead, he did what he did best and greatly exasperated the situation with something largely unnecessary, yet effective. It also simultaneously did his favorite thing of all, create spacing. Utilizing the summoning technique, the whole vicinity would be engulfed in smoke. Not that mattered to Kaze since he had Sage Mode and the Byakugan.

The Susanoo as a result of the giant mass of what was to be summoned would promptly disperse. Kaze would see the large entity immediately coil up and begin to spin. Almost instantaneously from the spinning, the whole landscape would be covered in a large gust of wind. Said wind from the start would already have the power to disperse the powder coming his way and scatter it to the wind.

A second or two later, the gust would now be in full swing, destroying the landscape and all who inhabited it. The wind would strike repeatedly and violently around the area, capable of cutting any victim. More importantly however, the wind was so strong it would literally take Kaze off his feet and throw him for about a minute like a rag doll. This defensive counter measure would get rid of the powder, and damage his opponent seriously.

Since this counter was done before the Photon bubble was in place, there was no need to avoid it. Since the Yondaime was reacting to the potential powder mess and Kaze had done the technique after and not simultaneously, the bubble would never be spawned, at least as originally intended. Although in the event that this reader had misinterpreted the last post, the summoning of a biju was likely plenty of force to break even a small sage bubble, but that shouldn't be necessary.

After the smoke cleared, what would left in the area is landscape now completely devoid of all plant life and barren mess. Standing at it's epicenter would be the Hachibi with the Yondaime standing upon it's head. The Yondiame had survived the onslaught by being clutched in the Hachibi's fist for the duration of the spin. What was left to determine is if Kaze and his beetle would turn up injured or not.

Seeing what appeared in the massive cloud of smoke Kaze would leap backwards and make a single-handed kata before being covered in a massive cloud of smoke as well. Once the 8 Tails began to twist the cloud of smoke would be blown away revealing Kaze, now standing at titanic size, the 8 Tail's head only coming up to his abdomen.

Senpo: Chō Baika no Jutsu
Sage Art: Super Expansion Jutsu

With his increased size and power Kaze would be able to resist the wind generated by the 8 tails spinning and it would not damage him. Kyojin would be protected on Kaze's broad back from the force. Before the Hachibi could finish spinning Kaze would take a giant step forward and launch of flurry of Gentle Fist strikes at it.

In Sage Mode Kaze is surrounded by an aura of Natural Energy that extends the reach of his Taijutsu attacks, including his Gentle Fist. While in normal size the Natural Energy would only extend his reach by several feet, scaling that same aura up to giant size would mean Kaze's hands did not need to come within 10 meters of the Bijuu to strike it. Considering his speed was enhanced by Sage Mode and the 1st Gate he would be able to deliver a flurry of strikes in the span of a moment.

Hakke Rokujūyon Shō
Gentle Fist Art: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms

Finally, should this be successful, Kaze would use the chakra injected into the bijuu's body from the Gentle Fist strikes to change the body of the tailed beast into graphite, the metal pencil lead is made out of. Unlike admantine the graphite metal is not a strong one, in fact it is incredibly weak. Considering the weight of the Tailed Beast's body once it was turned to solid graphite it would simply crumble under his own weight, destroying it.

Kaze may be big and strong enough to resist being bounced around like a rag doll, but being big doesn't protect you from cutting cut. Thus Kaze would become adorned in numerous micro cuts caused from the force of the wind. Small amounts of blood would then start to seep out. This wouldn't be any sort of deal breaker for the sage, but his little pet Kyojin whose only protection was being placed on a large back and was not a sage, would find himself deceased or seriously wounded.

As for the main problem faced the Yondaime or rather the Hachibi, well that would be a serious issue, one that couldn't be avoided quite frankly. While the beast was spinning his little dance, he would being to feel the hits of the Hyuuga trade mark technique, and instinctively stop spinning and place all eight tentacles in front of him to block the onslaught. While Kaze was undoubtedly super fast with the first gate, and Sage Mode, that didn't change the fact Eight Trigrams Sixty Four Palms is a technique that takes place in six, non simultaneous parts. It also pushed the enemy back with each blow, which was furthered by Kaze' own strength. This of course only avoid a brief few seconds for the Yondaime and his crew, but it was enough.

The Yondaime would command the Hachibi with one last task, and that was to simply throw him.  Using the tentacles as a small barrier, the Hachibi and his tremendous strength would launch the Yondaime into the air where he would excel at a fast pace and seemingly leave the world behind. With that the rest of Kaze's post would follow, with the eight tails being destroyed. Poor lad, always ending up like Manda when the Otokage used him.

Seeing as the beast was destroyed, the Yondaime was free to gain more actions. As he traveled through the air, a red glow enveloped him as he activated his sage transformation.  As he did that however, the Yondiame would reach into his clay pouch and begin to mold clay with his mouth hand. It would only take a few seconds before the clay was molded to his needs. As the Yondaime still traveled through the air, further creating distance, the clay mold would drop from his clay mouth.

The small statue figurine would rapidly being to drop, before being roughly 100 meters above Kaze's temple. With one kata from the Otokage, the figurine would increase and size and explode immediately. The prompt explosion would release an astronomical amount of purple gas. In it's base from, this technique could threaten to cover most of Sunagakure, it being senjutsu enhanced would cause it to dwarf that.

Thus the Dokuton cloud would expel out, giving relatively no time for Kaze to react. If the man breathed it in, allowed it to seep into his cuts or various offices, his chakra network would become infected entirely. Within seconds it would be rotted to the core, and Kaze would be out of chakra and soon his life. Even if he did find a way to avoid the technique in the short term, the battlefield was now covered in Dokuton.

1. Sage Transformation
2. C3 Dokuton variant.

Re: Kaze Daizaemon vs Trev: Multi-Bijuu Melee
« Reply #9 on: January 02, 2017, 12:02:13 AM »

All mentions of the wind having a cutting nature are being dropped.

Kaze would of course be able to see the Hachibi throw Trev away as its last act in the fight. As Trev flew and molded his clay Kaze would summon a handful of metal spheres into his hand. They were all  marked for his Hikari no Chōetsu-Shin no Jutsu, each was the size of an average bowling ball. There were several dozen in Kaze's giant palm though to him it looked like he was holding a bunch of ball bearings rather than 30+ bowling balls.

Rearing back, Kaze would pitch them toward the airborne Trev using his incredible strength to launch the salvo like the spread of a shotgun. His Hercules Beetle Sage Mode gave him only one unique ability, the same strength as the eponymous insect which was able to lift up to 850 times its own body weight. When that strength was applied to Kaze it meant he could lift upwards of 90 tons, slightly more than the Endeavour space shuttle. This was of course only when Kaze was at his normal size, when using Super Expansion jutsu his size and power is increased many times over. If we low ball it and say he is only 5 times bigger when using super expansion jutsu that means he could lift a little over 475 tons, which is about 3 of your average 1 story houses, or 4 blue whales.

Considering the real strength to be even higher than that Kaze would have no problem launching his projectiles at Trev with enough strength to blow him apart, even in his Senninka form. Since the salvo was very random in nature though only two of the shots, in regards to Trev's current movement, would hit him, and if they did one would rip off his right arm and the other would obliterate his head. Trev could try moving out of the way but he'd be just as likely to move into the path of another one as he was to avoid the ones initially coming at him.

Of course it would be unlikely Trev knew they were coming as they had no chakra in them for him to detect, the fact that he was rushing through the air as the result of a bijuu throwing him would reduce his hearing as the wind would be rushing around him very intensely, he never made any mention that he was looking at Kaze after being thrown, so one would assume he is facing and flying away from Kaze, and Kaze was not displaying any negative emotions for Trev to pick up on with his sensing ability, he was merely enjoying the fight.

As Trev's poison bomb burst Kaze would surround his hands in auras of chakra which shaped themselves into the maws of lions,

Jūho Sōshiken
Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists

and would make use of the markings on the spheres he had thrown to convert into light and travel to them at light speed as they flew through the air, taking Kyojin with him. This was his Photon Release take on the Hiraishin ability. He would appear in front of Trev but behind the path of his spheres so they would not strike him.

Hikari no Chōetsu-Shin no Jutsu
Transcendental God of Light Technique

Kaze would appear in such a way that Trev would immediately be in contact with his outstretched palm and have all the chakra in his body absorbed by the Gentle Fist technique he was using, considering it was more than large enough to encompass the Otokage's entire body several times over. He may be an Edo Tensei zombie who perpetually regains chakra but if he lost all of it at once it would still render him unable to defend himself for a short time while he waited for it to replenish.

Since Trev did not mention anything about his poison bomb striking him, or doing anything to have to avoid the spreading poison, one must assume that up in the air was a safe place to be and Kaze would also be unaffected up there, for the time being of course.

Happy New Year!

(As per discussion of the two combatants, the metal spheres are able to be sensed due to the Hikari mark upon them)

As the Yondaime traveled through the air like a majestic butterfly several items came into creation (the metal spheres) that pinged off his spidey sense... or Sage Sensing. From there said creations would be launched at an assumingly heavy speed, which the Yondaime deemed a no go. To counteract whatever was heading his direction, the Yondaime did what he did every fight....susanoo!

Contorting his body like he did earlier in the fight, the Yondaime would angle his body in a way to face directly the incoming salvo. While doing this, he simultaneously activated his susanoo and all the fixings that came with it. The Black Ethereal Warrior once again came to life, this time adorned in Curse Seal like markings, indicating senjutsu flowing through it and the increased power that came with it. The Susanoo would also be holding the famed Yata Mirror which would block the metallic spheres with no problem. Also spawning in the Susasnoo's other hand would be a sword constructed out of chakra (Think Itachi, but obviously no sealing power)

Due to the size of the Susanoo, all the metallic spheres would impact and promptly ricochet away from the Yondaime. Because of a high speed object moving so quickly bounced into a nigh impregnable defense that wouldn't even crack, the spheres would bounce at least a football field away upon impact, yet all still remain positioned in front of the Otokage.

Now what would happen next would entirely be up to his opponent. Considering his opponent would attempt to teleport after the metal spheres had utterly annihilated him, his next position would now be at least a football field away, thus negating an immediate hit. Even if he did teleport however, his attack would just meet the Yata Mirror and become invalid, immediately along with the mans arms likely breaking from using the first gate, super expansion jutsu, and sage mode to force his arms into an ubreakable object which would offer no cushion. Of course he could opt to not attack at all, but unless he had knowledge of the Yata Mirror and knew exactly Trev had it, would there be any reason to not attack?

No, due to Kaze's teleportion, Kaze had little choice other than to attack, from his perspective the metal spheres should be running through the man and he should be teleporting to finish him off. This would not be the case however, and he would teleport into the "face" of the yata mirror. It would take supreme skill to pull back last second. Kaze wouldn't be able to analyze the change in the air battle, due to creating his lion attack and teleporting as the bombs exploded. ANY delay in the original plan as Kaze stopped to analyze the situation would result in him being caught in the Dokuton explosion and chakra network be reduced to zero which = death.

Thus in the end Kaze would likely teleport or die, and teleport into a match of strengths even he couldn't win against. If the man somehow pulled up his attack, the trouble wouldn't be over. Regardless of what happened, once the Yondaime spotted the giant in the air, he would counter the incoming assault, or just simply attack the slightly confused Kaze if he struggled to not go in with his attack and look at the new situation.

The chakra based sword his Susasnoo was holding would become coated in Dark Release in about one second. The Yondaime would extend his shield forward slightly, and swing the sword horizontally behind the shield. Since jutsu can pass through Susanoo and it's manifestations at the user's will, this allowed the Yondaime to strike and remain protected. If Kaze lunged, he would get bisected in half at the waist and accordingly die. If the man resisted the urge and hung up in the air, he would have relatively no time to counter. As move to the left or right would result in being cut in half at the waist. A move up would cut off his legs, a move down he would risk his head being cut off, or his body separated at wherever he was struck.  The attack in it's base form could easily obliterate the standard susanoo, being sage enhanced, meant only a last second, quick, and ultra defense would save him damage.

In an effort to make this overkill, and ensure an end to the battle, as the susanoo waged war on the giant, the Yondaime breezed through five kata and surged his chakra into the battlefield. With a small amount of time passing to achieve his goal thanks to his Edo Tensei and Sage nature, the Yondaime would cause a constant gust of wind to flow about the area. The wind or rather hurricane force gust would flow through the area. More notably they flowed in a air that swooped under and traveled upwards. This gust would come in from all direction, and force the huge gust of wind to travel upwards towards the combatants. The wind itself would be of no harm to Kaze, but it would cause the huge Dokuton cloud from the bottom to travel into their current location in a matter of seconds, and it would obviously not doing anything to Trev himself.

Thus Kaze upon teleportation would find his metal spheres having not worked, crashing into the yata mirror full force, or somehow stopping his attack, be met with a Dark Release slash capable of ending him, and finally the Dokuton poison flowing up with the mind.

1. Susanoo
2. Dark Release: Slash
3. Wind Release: Great Breakthrough variant

All techs are sage enhanced.

Kaze would be able to see the Susano'o spawn into action, he did have the Byakugan after all, nothing could block his sight so easily. Trev was right he did still need to teleport to avoid the coming poison cloud and he would do so, appearing in front of the Susano'o, his hand resting against the Yata Mirror.

In spite of what Trev implied Kaze never said he was making an attack with his arms. He merely said that when he appeared Trev would have been in contact with his outstretched palm, which would have been cloaked in a shroud of chakra-absorbing chakra, so he was in no danger of damaging his arms. Though seeing the Susano'o Kaze would let the Lion Fist Technique fade. Instead he would radically increase the weight of Trev's Susano'o and sword through his contact with the shield it held.

Senpo: Doton: Chōkajūgan no Jutsu
Sage Art: Earth Release: Ultra-Added-Weight Rock Technique

Considering the Ultra-Light-Weight Rock Technique allowed Onoki (with a little help from Gaara) hold a small planet up in the air it stands to reason that the inverted technique would make things asininely heavy, and that was when it was not enhanced with Sage Mode. Since it did not seem that Trev's Susano'o was in the "Full Body" state and no mention was made of it having wings, Kaze assumes it is just in the fully armored form. This means it already had no means to keep itself airborne, and with the added weight it would drop the ground like a brick, leaving Trev behind.

Seeing Trev create and coat his sword in a dark chakra Kaze would use his Hikari no Chōetsu-Shin no Jutsu once again, since he did not know what that chakra was capable of doing and did not want to risk trying to block it. As Trev said the spheres would bounce a good distance away from him and would let Kaze teleport out of the reach of Trev's sword. It seemed unlikely this attack would even happen with the radical increase in weight of the Susano'o but it's better to be safe than sorry.

As the poison rose upward Kaze would will a bubble of light to surround himself.

Senpo: Kōton: Purizumu Kabe
Sage Art: Light Release: Prismatic Wall

When Kaze was in his giant form everything was scaled up to match, and that included his jutsu. While his default bubble was normally several inches thick it would instead be over two feet thick currently. Even though Trev never said anything about the poison having the ability to "corrode" chakra out in the open, only the chakra network in a persons body, the thickness of the barrier would mean it would take some time to eat through it and Kaze would notice if it was. Kaze would allow himself to fall back to the ground, protected from the rising poison by his shield.

Considering Trev allowed himself to be enveloped by his own sage enhanced poison he would be effected by it in spite of what he might think. Ninja train to safely perform their jutsu, which is why Sasuke burned himself when learning how to do Katon, he did not have control over it yet. However once they launch their jutsu they are just as vulnerable to it as anyone else. The entire shtick about the 3rd Raikage was that he was so tough he could only be damaged by his own technique, and it has been discussed on SL as well.

http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,8644.0.html

Since he made no effort to avoid the poison it would be taken into his body in vast quantities and destroy the man's chakra network. One could argue that Trev would have resistance to his own poisons but the chakra network destroying poison he was using was the strongest kind of Dokuton, and it was empowered by Sage Mode. It's also not like Trev has built up a resistance to it by destroying his chakra system just a little bit at a time.

Now one could also argue that an Edo Tensei would be able to regenerate damage to their chakra system, even if it is said to normally be irreparable, but it would not really matter. Since the poison in Trev’s body was not going anywhere even if his chakra system was repaired it would just be destroyed over and over again. This would also stop him from using any jutsu to improve his situation.

According to the judge's ruling:
The Poison won't hurt me
The weight tech will weigh down my susanoo, but not separate me from it
My sword attack misses

The post will reflect these decisions.

The pace of the battle would speed up rapidly at this point, causing the Yondaime to have to be at his best to deal with the situation. A tremendous weight would be put on his susanoo, causing it to fall to the earth like a ton of bricks, though not before heaving the now obese sword at his opponent. Unfortunately his foe would teleport, causing the Yondaime to miss. The Yondaime would also notice as he fell to the ground, a giant bubble envelop his foe's giant body, foiling two of the Yondaime's attempts.

Naturally since the Yondaime was much heavier than even the large giant, his descent would take a much more rapid pace. As he and his susanoo fell, he simply deactivated the technique. This left him open to an attack, but also slowed his fall. To counter the fall to his doom, the Yondaime activated one of the unique traits of Sage Transformation, jet boosters. The boosters on his back would flare to life, stopping him from falling and propelling him up. The Yondaime angled them in a way so he would travel diagonally. This caused him to ascend back in the air, but also create more spacing horizontally which was already a football field away.

As he was traveling, the Yondaime made his counter. Focusing in on Kaze and his giant bubble, which was a huge target, and not exactly easy to miss. Heck he didn't even need his various sensing to techniques to see this blight on the world, but he did have them and they did help. The Yondaime would react to Kaze when he was still in the midst of descending through the poison. The poison was not thick enough to hide Kaze from his line of site, thus the Yondaime would attempt to put a little hole in the bubble. Quickly focusing his sharingan, the Yondaime would aim for the middle of the bubble and promptly Kamui it.

While Kaze was a moving target, and the Yondaime was also moving, his aim would be well enough to successfully target the bubble. It also didn't help that Kaze was falling in a predictable straight line, which for the powers of the Sharingan was elementary. Even if his aim was off, he targeted the middle, and Kaze and his bubble were such a big target, it would be impossible to miss the whole thing. The Yondaime with the help of senjutsu would be able to fire off a massive Kamui, roughly the same size as the one Kakashi was attempting to fire to take the mazo's head off. But the senjutsu helped the Yondaime fire it off much faster than Kakashi could.

Although, even the size of the mazo's head was still relatively small compared to Kaze, this was still a relatively large hole. The Kamui would promptly end, and the Dokuton surrounding Kaze will promptly swarm the bubble, filling up a significant amount of the bubble with the poison. Even if his bubble had quick regenerative properties (idk if it does) it would be almost impossible to prevent any from getting in. All the Yondaime needed was a little touch, or the poison to be inhaled or flow in through Kaze various orifices. Of course, because Kaze would be exposed to a much smaller amount of Dokuton, his chakra network wouldn't rot in seconds like it would had he been exposed to the explosion. But still, it would mark doom for the man eventually.

As this occurred, the various metal spheres would also be descending to the ground and also be enveloped in the poison when the Otokage launched his Kamui, making teleportation not an option. Regardless of what happened, the Yondaime would continue his merry little flight, taking comfort in having the battlefield in relative control with his poison and him controlling the wind. Although, he did not let his guard down, keeping wary of a counter, and just to be extra sure, he snagged one of the kunai on his belt that was marked for hiraishin. Said kunai would be covered in wind chakra to increase the speed when it was thrown. Using all of his sage strength, he promptly whipped the kunai to his far right (Away from Kaze). Due to the strength of the toss, the velocity of being covered in wind, and having to drop a large distance, the kunai would travel 750 meters away, assuming flight is non interpreted.

1. Jet Boosters
2. Kamui (sage enhanced)
3. Futon covered kunai toss

Kaze did not have means to do anything about the Kamui attempt this exact second so it would indeed bite a hole in his bubble shield. He is unclear as to why exactly the poison gas would “swarm” into the hole though. Trev did not use any wind release to change the direction of the poison gas which had been blown straight upward, Kaze was falling straight down, and the hole was on the side of the bubble, and unmoving, since the shield was anchored around Kaze not unlike a Susano’o. In short the gas was moving perpendicularly in regards to where the hole was. Sure some might get in but it seemed weird that it would change directions and just charge right in. Regardless of how much did or did not get in Kaze decided he has had enough of the gas.

With a roar Kaze’s eyes would split and become compound, like a beetle, and he’d be surrounded by wispy tendrils of red chakra, the Initial Jinchuriki State. He had tapped into the power of the Seven Tails and it would enhance all his physical and chakra abilities even further, as well as giving him even more chakra to use of course.

Letting his bubble shield vanish Kaze would expel chakra out of every tenketsu in his body, laced with Bijuu and Senjutsu chakra for a massive blast that would clear all the poison around him for over 100 meters!

Senpo: Jukenho Ichigekishin!
Sage Art: Gentle Fist Art One Blow Body!

Kyojn would be unaffected of course as he was wisely nestled in between Kaze’s Tenketsu points, so as to not be launched off by the geysers of chakra.

Finally, flashing through several kata, the area all around Trev and Kaze would be engulfed by a brilliant light.

Senpo: Koton Purizumu Kabe
Sage Art: Photon Release: Prismatic Wall

Once the light faded it would be revealed that Kaze had used the combined power of Sage Arts and Tailed Beasts to surround the entire area with a massive barrier sphere. Trev had said there had been a football field between them and he had started to put more distance on that. Well a football field is a little over 90 meters long. Kaze’s barrier, from where he now stood on the ground, had a 1000 meter radius. It had been over two feet thick before and the addition of bijuu chakra would bring that up to three feet. Trev would also see that, unlike the previous barriers he had made, this one was ringed with formula along its surface, indicating it had additional effects.

The first was the inhibition of all space-time ninjutsu. No one, including Kaze, would be able to perform any as long as they remained within the barriers confines.

The second was chakra absorption. Everything within the confines of the barrier, creatures and jutsu alike, would have their chakra absorbed and funneled back to Kaze. This meant the poison would finally be removed from play as the enhanced rate of absorption quickly caused it to vanish. Kaze again was not exempt from the effects however it would be less dire for him since any chakra the barrier took would merely be returned to him, it did inhibit what attacks he could do though. Kyojin would be notably exempt as he was fused with Kaze and they would seem as one entity to the barrier’s internal logic.

Trev might finally lose his cool once he noticed that the enhanced rate of absorption was siphoning chakra out of his body faster than his Edo form regenerated it, meaning he could and would eventually bottom out. While he obviously would never stop regenerating it the barrier would never stop absorbing it either, meaning once he hit zero the chakra would be absorbed from him as fast as he could generate it, effectively rendering him unable to use it. Trev would normally have a decent amount of time to deal with this but he had already used 25% of his chakra summoning the Hachibi, another large amount on a massive poison bomb, another large amount on his Dark Slash which would leave him temporarily exhausted, as well as the various uses of Susano’o and other jutsu in between. It would be impossible to argue Trev was at 100%.

His chakra jets would also flicker and die as they were absorbed, likely sending Trev to the earth below. Enhancements to the body would be ok meaning Trev’s steel skin and Kaze’s giant form would remain undisturbed.

Kaze would call out, “End of the line, ghoul! If you want to kill me you’ll have to do it like a man! Up close and personal!” With one massive kick off the ground under his feet would explode as Kaze launched himself toward Trev, quickly closing the distance with his titanic stride.
