Nope. He states "once above"...

"Once you get done washing those dishes, make sure you sweep the floor."

That does not mean sweep the floor 5 hours later or even 10 minutes later than the moment you finish washing the dishes. That's not how that phrase works. I rule that Athos fired off the balls shortly after leaving the cloud cover.

Oh believe me I read it. The difference is I'm reading what it ACTUALLY says and you're reading what you MEANT to say.

Utilize - Make practical or effective use of (https://www.google.com/#q=Utilize).

Utilizing Kamui to warp away the entire body in less than a second, 1/2 a second to be precise, is how Dart intends on escaping the dust release balls. That's my ruling, hate it or love it.

I"m going to clean up this thread some and then, if Athos wants, he can repost. Otherwise, next Joe in line.

** To be clear since it may have gotten swept up in the clean-up, I also do not consider Dart's post to be metagaming nor his action limits excessive. **

A surprise it was, when it was shown that nobody was itching to stop the expansion of the pulse of ice and he'd smirk as he would continue it onward. His Mind's Eye was keeping a close eye on everything, as usual, and in those ten previous seconds, from his last post, he would see just why he wasn't trying to be stopped.

Kamui, the Edo Hokage, would find his slugs poof-poof-poofing out of existence as they froze to death, as intended. This meant, no Sage Mode. No Sage Mode meant, no expansion of his detection barrier. Without that precious expansion, the Nara would remain outside of it's seventy-five meter radius, as the Hokage continued to run around to keep himself from subjecting to the cold.

Tau, the Edo Otokage... not to be confused by Kamui, considering they both held the title at one point... Well, Tau had the right idea in regurgitating his own body. Because of this, the reptilian mucus from shedding one's skin, would be just the liquid needed to speed up the freezing process in a fashion similar to the slugs before. But, there was a problem. Between which instance would the actual event occur. With the issue of Time being a major factor in this round of posts, just how would we calculate this? Well, that's a discussion of math and we nearly need to plug in the numbers.

Kamui, had stated that he was fifty meters away in the beginning, before he was being bombarded by black flames. Tau, on the other hand, would be thirty meters away before issuing the bombardments, seemingly remaining in the same spot the whole time… let’s check to make sure… Yes, he would be correct to believe the Otokage would remain motionless for pretty much the entire fight… which was pretty badass now that he thought about it. But, back to the actual numbers, since the man had stated to being 50 meters from the convergence, with it having only been Jay at the time he said that, that meant that they were 50 meters away, adding perhaps 30 meters for Tau and at that Hiraishin Marker, Tau would be 80 meters away.

Alright, with Ice Pulse hitting 130 meters in 1.5 seconds, Tau would have had to do the technique in even less time to even be mobile. Looking at the manga for the technique in action, then the anime for a time frame, a completion of the technique would be around 6 seconds. But, considering it was video, and clearly slowed down, since the snakes (Obviously unrelated to the technique) had previously dissolved, or turned to ash, nearly immediately upon contact, so I’d say it was more along the case of 2 seconds. This more or less, still caused Tau some problems, which he made easier with his post. From Tau’s own word of “burst”, which obviously meant suddenly with speed, I can cut that 2 to a 1. And from his previous words of “Though if they thought he was helpless he’d be sure to show them just how wrong they were.”, it can be understood that he was working immediately from his previous post and had simply ran out of actions for that previous post… understandable.

But, that wouldn’t bring him out of the woodwork, because in that 1 second, the Ice Pulse would cover 86.6 meters and thus already be on top of Taumaster, even proving to be 6 meters behind him at this point. Surely, the wave, would have caught the Edo with his mouth wide open and slipped up in there for a deep rush of frost. Being in Edo, this wouldn’t matter all that much, but with the fluid-like nature of the technique in use, it’d quite surely be enough to produce a flash freeze sensation, right? If he’s right, Tau would most definitely burst from the mouth, but with the top half of his new body frozen and once he hit that floor, it’d shatter from the impact. If he’s wrong, well, then the Otokage would be free to go about with the rest of his post. That was really up to Eric to decide… should give him a color too… let’s go with green.

The same could even be said for Kamui and the trails of mucus his slugs left on his body as they crawled…. slithered… slug word for climbed, their way up to his shoulders. But, considering he hadn’t thought about it then, to claim that now would be metagaming… or retroposting… or just being an asshole. So, Kamui survived the cold this time, but he can claim that through the direct contact he had shared with his slugs, his shoulders would frost over considerably and he could possibly lose his arms if he didn’t treat that immediately.

Wow, that was a lot of stuff for a second and a half of recollection. More towards the end of those ten seconds, he would see why Athos didn’t try to stop his ice, even as the frozen clouds began their descent and began to move fast. Having wished so, but didn’t truly believe it would work, the man proved capable of shrugging off the cold. Surely, it must have something to do with his own training with Ice Release that he never used these days. With the Saiken Chakra shrouding around his frame, it would barely keeping him conscious enough to activate the Flame King’s Raiment to keep himself from freezing completely. With his temperatures, ”Back to normal”, it was surely a perfect balance between fire and ice. However much temperature was used, didn’t matter since even a little bit would be multiplied by 7.5, but for how much longer? Well, with Saiken gathering the Natural Energy, the Nara would be able to see that the Natural Energy would surely continue pulling towards the Raikon as he moved.

Obviously, this pissed him off, but still, his Golden Hues, still hiding his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan beneath his Stealth Lenses, watched along with his Mind’s Eye and Theta State to come up with a way around this. But, this only really left Dart, who was clearly under too much firepower… apparently, as only sharp glimpses would be available with the usage of the Kamui pulling the man away to another dimension… just narrowly escaping the Space-Time Cancellation Barrier’s clutches. He couldn’t be too sure, with the fact that most of the assault would be hampered because of Mujin Meisai. He would, however, see the arm and sword that were lost, becoming visible. He would watch them freeze, as the wave covered them eventually in those following seconds.

Now, the Nara didn’t know about the seal that would be on the weapon, nor would he care about it, because the Space-Time Cancellation Barrier would prevent him from Reverse Summoning anyway, given the time that he would spend inside the dimension to heal. Of course, this only mattered if the weapon would still be usual once it managed to hit the ground, most likely after the frozen cloud. Which, finally, brings us to the present. Now the Nara can bring his mind away from the recollection of events and cause some new mayhem.

With already 1,211 words by this very word, the Nara would finally decide on what to do. Knowing that Dart would be forced to appear at least 1,500 meters away, and that’s if Athos chose to make it stop or reach its maximum range, wherever that may be. At least, knowing this, the Nara would simply continue to stretch his pulse to follow. In 12 seconds he would have reached the 1,010 meters, and with its effect reaching Athos already, they obviously weren’t that high in the air, which meant, the frozen clouds would reach the ground faster. Being that everything fell at 9.8 meters a second… squared… he wasn’t a scientist. He didn’t know how much the thing weighed, so he wasn’t going to attempt to calculate its fall. He would just act accordingly and word his actions correctly.

With careful perception, the Nara would note the frozen clouds were casting quite the shadow that was growing darker and darker the closer it got to the ground. Obviously, he was on the ground, which meant the cloud had formed it’s shadow around him, which meant that his and it’s shadow was already connected. This only meant that he needed to use his Shadow Manipulation for whatever he was planning. This wasn’t technically OP, it was merely because of the size of the shadow that was being cast, more the capable for someone that had trained for quite some time in the Shadow Dimension and learned Sage Mode through them. Sadly, this whatever he was planning to do would cost an action and with the continuing of his Ice Pulse, he would only have one more thing to do. This would simply be the Shadow Sewing Technique.

Considering that Athos’s action limit hadn’t been claimed to be 100 with his deathballs and Dart hadn’t been counted for every single droplet of acid that left the clouds, it wouldn’t be too farfetched to claim that the Nara would be able to pull up exactly 24 (12 each), two-inched thick needles of very long tendrils of shadow, to lift up a single inch around Kamui’s and Tau’s respective positions (Much like the numbers 1-12 numbers on a clock), despite the distance between them.

The shadowy tendrils would be moving just as rapidly as previous his Ice Pulse, considering his wiki page said that his lone shadow could cover 55 meters in 2 seconds, so 27.5 meters a second. Also take in consideration that it hadn’t been voided, nor was it even the updated numbers, with the amount of training he’s been through since making that specific claim, but for the sake of fairness and because of his own laziness in not keeping his page up to date, those numbers will be what’s going to be used for this fight.

Judging on Eric’s decision on the matter, those tendrils will either be making their way up towards the ashen frame of Tau, inside of his Amaterasu enflamed Susanoo Ribcage, since they came from below… or they’ll be moving to pierce through the downed and possibly, already shattered, body of the frozen Edo Kage.

If it was the former, then the positions of the tendrils would match position of Kage. With the speed Tau would be traveling, the tendrils would be acting accordingly with whatever speed was being presented, using Mind’s Eye for the best possible outcome. With the seconds between the ice pulse and the appearance of the tendrils, being around 10-11 seconds, the Nara didn’t have a real doubt that Tau wouldn’t be able to catch up to Kamui between then… which meant that Tau may or may not be moving at this point. Anyway, ten of the tendrils would attempt to spear themselves in every vital organ this Edo would have had if he was alive, while the tendrils positioned at 5 and 7 o’clock would head towards the back of the head in the hopes of stabbing the eyes out, to prevent any sort of Izanagi usage like the other Edo. All of the tendrils would then drop towards the ground to stab into the frozen terrain and keep the Edo bound.

Of course, if it was the latter, the tendrils would just stab into whatever piece of Tau they can and break apart the frozen ashes even more so, obviously aiming for wherever the eyes were located first and foremost, using Mind’s Eye to calculate this endeavor.

Notably, at the very same exact time this attempt was being made against Tau, Kamui’s group of tendrils would move and attempt to puncture the Edo at his hips and coil themselves up inside of his frame like some sort of… internal drill, and if they were allowed (Highly likely, if it wasn’t dodged as this would cause at least a 4 four turn immobilization from the amount of damage), they would pop up from around the neck and spear the head from above and shoot down the very middle of that drill formation they would have made to puncture the ground and keep him bound. (Effectively making it a 5 turn immobilization and maybe even a permanent thing since they would remain there… for both Edo’s actually!!)

Of course, if this was counted as two separate actions by our judge, then the next action wouldn’t happen. If the Nara was correct to believe it was one action and merely a show of masterful Shadow Manipulation that would make his senpai proud, then the Nara would be free to proceed with the third action of this 2,100+ word post.

Actually, if this worked, there wouldn’t really be a need for a third action… well, the frozen cloud bearing down on them, would beg to differ. Well, seeing as how this was likely to happen in one second, from insertion happening in .1 second, considering the distance, to rest of the .9 second for the completion of the binding. This wasn’t an autohit, but considering the distance in which they would come to act, it would take some quick instant reflexes to not suffer from the full brunt of the technique. Considering Kamui didn’t have his Sharingan, there was not going to be any Ame-no-Uzume usage to distort the time around him. Tau would find the tendrils slipping through his bones to puncture his body, especially since this was a new body that was losing more chakra then the state could reproduce, same with Kamui, though less so, since he’s been on the defensive this whole time.

In any case, this third action, if action number 2 was successful, would be to use the shadow as a conduit for his Ice Release and he would flash freeze them both to make sure that they would stay bound and incapable of becoming free.

Of course, because he would be unable to just pull them into his Shadow Dimension, they would just shatter with the dropping of the ice cloud. Said ice cloud would hit the ground with a very loud thundering boom that shook the battlefield and shot various sizes of shards practically everywhere on the battlefield. The Nara, with the intense heat being produced by the cloak of lightning around him as well as his Corrupted Sage Mode cloak, not to mention his Strongest Shield, would be pretty much alright, considering the cloud fell with less force from one of his sensei’s punches. So with Ice melting around his head, he wouldn’t have to really worry about any possible headache. Though, now he was obviously hoping that this whole thing was able to fit on the forum since it was very nearly 2,500 words… Let’s make it exact with a few nonsense words. So did any of yall watch the Super Bowl, if so which team did you root for?#Patriots!!!!!!!!

Continuing Sage Enhanced Ice Pulse
Sage Enhanced Shadow Sewing Technique
Sage Enhanced Flash Freeze Technique

It was true that by sacrificing his eyes that he lost not only his vision, but some predictability that came along with those blessed eyes of his. However the absence of his vision didn't necessarily mean that he was completely blind, in fact the man could see everything with the passive extrasensory abilities gained through Slug Sage Mode. Taumaster's moves wouldn't go unnoticed, since he clearly implied that everything was clearly visible to him in his own mind. This meant that the combination of his passive ability of his Sage Sensing that he received through Slug Sage Mode and the enhanced spherical motion detection barrier, pretty much allowed him to detect that Taumaster was rapidly slithering towards him.

Kamui noticed the accumulation of frost gathering at his shoulders and sensed that a Taumaster clad in a black flame-covered Susano'o was heading his way and with that in mind, he decided to kill two birds with one stone. He would instantly surround himself in multiple layers of fire release chakras, creating an armor of flames that would effectively keep him and his slugs from being frozen over. Instead of the armor being used offensively, it would be used to stimulate his muscles and internal organs. In fact, the technique that he just used was augmented by his Slug Sage Mode and normally the armor would augment his strength by twofold, but that would be increased to a total of six times his normal strength. Keep in mind that the technique only augmented his normal strength by providing a constant and yet steady amount of heat to his insides that was carefully regulated throughout his body.

Both of the slugs that were fused to his body were free to continue gather natural energy for the man while he was on the move, effectively extending his duration of Slug Sage Mode. Which meant that he wouldn't exit Slug Sage Mode come next turn and could keep his transformation up indefinitely as long as his summons continued to gather natural energy and convert it in an uninterrupted manner. Kamui needed the transformation at the moment in order to hold his own against the attacks heading his way and if all else would fail, there was the final option was using that technique. Now he had planned on confronting the slithering man that was quickly converging upon location, but something occurred before they could go through with their respective confrontation.

Kamui immediately sensed the appearance of another person's chakra quickly converging upon his location, namely Jay's and by using his spherical motion detection barrier that was enhanced in his Slug Sage Mode was he able to sense the sudden appearance of the shadow tendrils; his increased perpetration allowed the Shodai to calculate where they would strike him. Kamui immediately spawned the rib cage of his Susano'o and instinctively kicked up on his heels in order to quickly leap upwards away from the shadow tendrils that intended to attack him from the hip upwards in a drill-like fashion; leaving behind a fiery trail in his wake.

'That was a close one!' Kamui had only a fraction of a second to react and the combination of his buffs allowed him to avoid the attack at the last possible moment, but with a downside. He would notice some 'cracks' along the four bottom ribs of his Susano'o upon landing about twenty meters away from where the attack took place and looked up to witness the frozen cloud's impact upon the ground below; which sent shards of ice flying everywhere on the battlefield. The resulting ice shards would harmless bounce off the ribcage of Susano'o and would begin melting from the amount of heat that his body was producing.

Kamui didn't know what would happen to Taumaster at the moment of his evasion and it was very plausible that he would be able to fend off this attack like he just did right now. If so, that meant that Kamui would have to weigh out his future options before he try to do anything to the guy that just tried to pull a Nara on him.

Now he could've sworn that he stated that he was one-hundred and twenty meters away from Jay and that the range of his motion detection barrier was tripled, which he correctly did upon a second inspection of his previous post. It was very foolish to try to directly attack him from afar, since he was deliberately putting himself in harm's way by being allowing his chakra to enter the confines of his barrier and recklessly have the trail of chakra lead back to him; this meant that the Shodai was able to pinpoint an exact location to where the chakra source originated from and could begin his next set of counter-attacks come next turn.

(Kamui is thirty meters away from Taumaster/Shadow Tendrils and one hundred and forty five meters away from Jay)

Tau isn't sure how the Fire Release Chakra Mode is supposed to help the slugs. The page for the jutsu says it warms the users insides and can burn things they touch. So the slugs should either not be affected at all or burned by the technique. Though he's sure that once Kamui contests this claim Eric will invent new rules for how fusion works and allow Kamui to do as he claims. Presumably while fused with him they were just completely analogous to Kamui's own body and if he wanted to do something like, channel a Raikiri through the slug, he could do that as easily as if it was his own hand. Yes that makes perfect sense.

Also, unless his Susano'o is leaving less than one inch of clearance between itself and Kamui's body, which does not seem realistic, Kamui would still be hit by Jay's Shadow Sewing. Jay specifically said the tendrils raise from the ground one inch away from their bodies. Since all Kamui did to avoid the technique was jump upward and claim the Susano'o deflected the attack logically he would be skewered by it and flash frozen, since the tendrils are coming up within the confines of his Susano'o. Since the slugs count as part of Kamui's body they'd logically be frozen too.

He also did not do anything to avoid the falling ice block. It was a cloud that covered the entire area where they are fighting so 20 meters to one side is still on the battlefield. Unless he could maintain his Susano'o while frozen he'd likely be shattered to pieces.

Tau himself would not be frozen as Jay suggested because, as Jay himself mentioned previously, his body was made of ash and dirt and had no liquids within it. Normally crawling from ones body would be a sticky affair but that was not the case for his undead form. As anyone can see whenever their bodies are broken and damaged all that comes out is ash.

He too had chakra sensing to detect the attacks appearance just as Kamui had and would instantly form a layer of bone under the skin to counter the shadow drills. Considering that this bone defense provided Kimimaro, not even in CS2, sufficient enough durability to avoid any damage from being crushed under 200 meters of Gaara's compressed sand the defense granted by the Shikotsumyaku is preposterous. For reference the Statue of Liberty is only 93 meters tall. So he took no damage from having essentially a skyscraper and then some pressing down on him trying to crush him.  Then of course Tau's is 3 times stronger enhanced by Sage Mode.

Whether or not the drills would eventually be able to punch through them Tau would not test at this particular juncture. He would instead also leap into the air and expend his Susano'o to it's full armored form, legs and all, and would be suspended safely inside the 20 foot tall construct's head. Since things can pass out of Susano'o with no effort once he moved out of the way of the tendrils they'd have to punch through his sage enhanced Susano'o to get at him again and since Jay said he would not freeze them unless the Shadow Sewing was successful Tau would not have to contend with that.

As the frozen cloud descended upon him Tau would simply have his Susano'o rear back and punch a hole through it, shattering enough that it fell harmlessly around him. It may have been frozen as a result of Jay's technique but it was not actually an Ice Release construct so it would shatter as readily as normal ice.

Once the dust settled, literally and figuratively, all the combatants capable of hearing would be able to hear the sound of hissing coming from both Tau and the snake fused with his abdomen. Other than perhaps finding it curious that they could hear such a sound from any great distance away it would have no effect at the current time.

1. Shikotsumyaku Defense
2. Armored Susano'o
3. Other preparations

All enhanced by Sage Mode.

I'm bowing out, guys.
Got to deal with work stuff this coming weekend and I just don't have the energy to keep senselessly arguing over silly stuff. Plus, I'll be too busy for the 48hr window.

Have fun and I'll be watching!

Athos had surely thought he finally had killed that dastardly Dart but he seemed to be wrong, the youth disappearing into his Kamui Dimension and officially removing himself from the fight. Biting off more than one could chew, Athos assumed, but that really left him with the matter that was at hand. Currently, he was out of range of everyone's sensor range but everyone was easily still in his, thanks to the help of his Saiken Sage Mode combo. *Well, what do we do now?* As Saiken as the two of them would begin to regard the battle, one that was presumably over considering the horrendous state that Kamui may be left in. But there was no reason for the man to gain in on that debacle, so what else to do?

The redhead would move to sit cross legged upon the chakra platform that was resting underneath him and placed his hands in front of his chest, facing one another. Between his palms would begin to form a ball of Bijuu Chakra, similar to that of a Bijuu Bomb, but with the mixing of Sage Energy flowing into it was well"I wonder what will happen in the meantime." Athos commented as he watched on with interest. The Ball in his hands would start to follow a cycle, expanding slowly as it filled with chakra until it just about touched both of his palms(about the size of a football) before it would shrink to about the size of a marble. This was a process that would continue over and over, Saiken still gathering Natural Energy for Athos to use. But considering the amount that he was pushing into the attack, allowing with using Saiken's Energy as a bonus, the redhead would decide to start gathering Natural Energy as well. With him and his beast doing such, it would be no problem to stay within his enhanced state as the fight went along.

*Wanna make a bet?* Would echo the voice of Saiken inside Athos' head before he shrugged,"Nothing really to bet." At this point was when Jay/Tau/Kamui's posts from this round would have come to fruition, since Athos had time from his motion until the present since Dart had left. It things ended how Jay or Tau, or both, had said then this game was already over and it'd be unfair to bet. Even if Kamui managed to work his magic, it still didn't matter to Athos. He'd let the others fight and deflect anything that was thrown his way. Like a true camper. *Tsk, do you just planning on sitting here?* Athos nodded his head as he hummed a tune,"..Chargin' my attack.." By the end of this post alone the ball had condensed over a dozen times and was doing so at a good paced race. With the strength it currently had, the condensed ball could easily clear a mountain range if not even something larger.

The Nara couldn't possibly understand how one could ignore the judge's decision on the matter, but it didn't seem to matter to the aged Uchiha. He was sure the slugs were supposed to poof upon being frozen to death, not really leaving a moment for the Fire Release Chakra Mode to really save them, but whatever. 'If that's the way the cookie's gonna bake...' He would think to himself upon noticing this little tidbit of information. But the Uchiha was wrong to believe that his shadows would perish as easily as he thought. Being enhanced by his Corrupted Sage Mode, they would do more than crack the ribs of his Susanoo. Hell, since contact was established, they'd be forced to coil sooner rather than later and before they would erupt in flames, the Uchiha would find his frame being jerked from the air and sent crashing back towards the ground, since said ground was the intended target to begin with. Of course, since he was acting in real time, adjusting for the jump would be completely reasonable, since the man was able to do the same thing to save his slugs... somehow.

As he continued to watch his attacks, he would feel something in the back of his mind. In a Hunger Game like fashion, a cannon would go off in his mind, Dart was gone for good. [Smell's like a Biju Ball's in the works... I can taste that slimy texture in the air.] This obviously surprised the Nara as he had yet to experience an actual Biju Ball before. 'You sure? Could be a Special... Beam-like attack. It does seem like he's going to be charging it for a while. Let's hope it does take five minutes.' Obviously, this happened in a microsecond as he's loved having those conversations lasting such a short amount of time.

Turning his attention on Tau, he would notice how the Otokage would handle himself. Ahh, that bone armor managed to stop his initial strike. Of course, same concept as before, working in real time, he would still attempt to go for those eyes directly since the skull had grew more dense. Oooh, just a tad too slow as he took to the air, his attempt to go for the ribs of his Susano'o didn't work, only because of the Amaterasu flames he decorated the ribs in. Of course, that was before he erected the full armored Susanoo. Whether or not the Flames of Amaterasu were still there or not was a mystery, as they hadn't been mentioned for this new form. But, knowing the flames, they were likely still there, possibly around the chest region of the chakra construct.

Of course, as the ice cloud crashed, he would smirk in the debris of frozen Earth, taking a deep inhale as he did. Of course, to stop the action of expanding his Ice Pulse, he would have to move. To prevent himself in wasting an action on a simple move, he would have to seamlessly transition said movement into his next action. This meant, he would have to actually form hand signs, something he hadn't done since Mastering Myaku Seikei, the art of Pulse Shaping. 'No problem, I'm far from rusty.' He thought to himself, as if knowing Matatabi was going to claim that he was rusty. But, he wasn't going to waste this action on just one technique, oh no, he was going to do two at the same time. They hadn't voided Zasshu Kata, the art of Hybrid Seals. Such a shame, as he began flowing through multiple one handed seals combined together to make a vastly weird combination of the original twelve zodiac hand signs. When he was finished, he would end on Bird for his left hand and Dragon for his right hand, using his Corrupted Energy as the power source, he would face towards the Edo and let out a powerful pulse once again, this time through of a Monstrous Roar with the force of an Almighty Push.

This specific pulse was incredibly more sinister than the last as a sense of dread and despair would run rampant throughout the battlefield, directly towards the two Edo Zombies, acting as a cone and the further it traveled, the wider it grew. This cone would start at a very wide 20 meters wide on both sides, making it a full 40 meters for it's initial start. Along with possessing the same speed as the last post, if not faster, this post would expand by 80 meters on each separate side after every 10 meters that it traveled. Once it reached 130 meters in the previously stated 1.5 seconds, it would be spread out to a 1,060 meter wide radius on both sides of the directional spectrum, making it 2,120 wide in total, at just the 130 meter mark, for further numbers, one only needed to continue adding the numbers, but it would only stretch outwards for three seconds… so it would stretch as straight as far as 260 meters with 4,240 meters in every direction in front of the Nara. Because horizontal wouldn’t be the only direction as vertical would complete the actual spectrum of the pulse, so up and down would be specifically stated so a simple jump wouldn’t be plausible for a dodge.

The roar, itself, was a nod towards the Super Bark, pushing everything in front of the Nara away from him and towards the Edo. Normally, something like this wouldn’t be so grandiose, but with the 4x multiplier for the original 5 plus 20, it was perfectly obvious these were the Corrupted Sage Numbers, which was why it was used in such a manner.  The roar, along with the actual crashing of the cloud would break the ground by 4 meters to provide a lot of excess debris/shrapnel.

The majority of the pulse was black in color, though a blood red coloring did seem to run through it like a wriggling river, the pulse effectively matching his cloak in appearance and ability. The pulse would move with the speed of his last pulse and the Corrupted Energy, alone, would prove harmful to the Sages inside their suits of chakra, except Athos above, since he was airborne. As the Corrupted Energy surged through the battlefield, their Sage Sensing would begin to fizzle on and off, as if their signal was being blocked, interrupted… and, dare I say, corrupted. When the Detection Barrier was concerned, the Corrupted Energy would cause it to erode as the wave of influence swept through the battlefield. Seeing as how the acidic rain was damaging it before, this would provide a much more devastating effect and may even shatter it outright. If it remained intact, it would only work against the Uchiha as it would have an even stronger scrambler-like effect on the Uchiha, because it was affecting both of his ways of sensing. It was only because it was Corrupted Senjutsu Chakra that these effects would be devastating. Because, again, it was Corrupted Senjutsu Chakra, it would eat/disintegrate the foreign chakra it would come in contact with. That was the only reason why he didn’t have much of a problem with the previous rain, because they would eat at each other and with Senninka pulling in constantly, it was like the perfect stalemate.

There was a reason he chose this specific Sage Skill as his main focus of Sage Arts, it would prove to be the bane of other Sage Enhanced Techniques, affecting Athos' Mind's Eye as well since it was so widespread. With its absurdly high levels of corruption, being in Sage Mode would be especially more painful than normal, proven earlier when Athos came in contact with it. But, that wouldn't be the only reason for them to feel that dread and despair, as the actual techniques laced into the pulse were doing what they were designed to do.

The first technique that was weaved into the Hybrid Seals would be, Ice Release: Restless Pursuer of the Frozen Storm. It would take the ice that quite literally made up the battlefield and in multiple microseconds, shatter them dozens of times so each individual piece was the size of near invisible, very very tiny snowflakes and as sharp as any microscopic wind blade, creating a countless amount. Considering their size, they'd attack at a cellular level. Of course, given how they would be a vastly high number of them, they'd resemble that of an ordinary storm as they would swarm towards the two Edo, proving more than capable of slicing through the chakra constructs, glowering in a bright turquoise as they did so.

The second technique to have been weaved into the Hybrid Seals would be, Explosive Release: Creative Destruction. The energy that composed this specific technique would be fused into the snowflakes and provide them with the turquoise color that they currently held. When they would reach those chakra constructs, each individual snowflake would explode with the power of an exploding tag. With the sheer amount of them, it would be like Konan’s sea of paper explosives. Together, the combination technique would be called Hybrid Release: Starlight Burst, because it sounded awesome to him.

With the swarming of his Frozen Storm and the precise explosions of his Creative Destruction, the pair of Susano’o would be unable to retain their stability and control over their states would crumble in the following fifteen seconds of activity. He was obviously referring towards Tau’s more so than Kamui’s since it was in a further state. This combination, in total, had the explosive capabilities of destroying an entire village on a scale similar to Pain’s Almighty Push, with a quarter of the Nara’s Chakra being expended. Of course, fully aware of the possibilities of counter or Athos, he would keep his Mind’s Eye/Theta State steady and be ready to act accordingly.

Because of the amount of chakra that had been put into the techniques, his Sage Mode would be unbalanced and he would be out of it in the next turn as a result. Even with Senninka constantly pulling Natural Energy towards him, he would need a minute or two turns before he could rebalance the states. His RnY would remain active, but it wouldn’t be at full power and the color would lose its corruption and it would be closer to silver or white or something in between.

If things worked in his favor, the two Edo would be forced into their five turn immobilizations periods and their ashes would scatter across the battlefield. Tau may have the impressive bone defense, but those cuts at the cellular level would be just enough opening for the explosions to cause massive damage. Even if Kamui was to bring out the Sound Release Armor, like he did last time, his 4x attack would be one higher than their 3x defense. He just wished Athos was down here as well, because the sheer amount of damage would provide some damage to his Strongest Shield, more than enough to bake his biscuits. This could be avoided, blocked and dodged, but would they bother with finding it or was someone going to bitch about it? (Pardon my American ;P) Since his Ice Release had a description, it was perfectly usable and Creative Destruction wasn't a custom technique of his and had a page on the main wiki. Also, all that color coding got frustrating and I'm not going through that torture again. I now know Kamui's pain.

Kamui was able to adjust himself for the impact that the shadow tendrils were attempting and miraculous landed on his feet...yet again; the only slight change through Jay's actions was that it made him create a small crater upon impact with the ground below him. he shrugged off the attempt that he generally assumed was meant to throw him off balance, much to his amusement since he could perform the full strength of his techniques through one-handed kata(s) alone and the buff that he received through the sage enhanced KnY allowed him versatility with anything that required the usage of his psychical strength; the applications with these enhancements were endless from his perspective.

'This feeling!?' Kamui was surprised as the sudden appearance of a nasty and corrupted chakra, the concussive force of the roar had caused him to be pushed back about fifty meters from where he originally stood; crossing his arms in front of him in process of this knock-back slide that carved a trail into the ground. Jay was right about one thing, since the corrupted chakra didn't successfully erode away at his spherical motion detection and shatter it; that would mean that it would've a scrambler effect on his senses, which was more of a bad thing.

'I better not take any chances here.' Kamui was literally a sitting duck from his position within the ribcage of Susano'o, since he couldn't sense anything through spherical motion detection barrier and his sage sensing was acting erratic; this combination was dangerous to him and he needed to remedy it as soon as possible. Kamui decided to make use of the multiplier from the sage-enhanced KnY that he had previously active to shorten the time frame that it would take to transition into the next phase of his plan.

One thing that the he had deduced through the monstrous roar is that it would shatter the permafrost that had accumulated on the ground and send a blizzard of an attack his way, but the injection of explosive chakras is what really intrigued and filled him with excitement; the man assumed that only an ice release attack was heading his way, but sadly he was wrong. In one quick blurred motion, he would ball up his palm into a fist with a thumb extending outwards and subsequently pierce an area right above his heart; which caused his blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows.

Now let's keep in mind that the hundred times multiplier that he gained from the Eight Gates Released Formation was far greater than all the buffs that everyone had active on the field at the moment, it was laughable to even compare their powers at this very moment. Judging from the distance and time frame that it would take for the attack to converge, it was plausible to say that he had more than enough time to flawlessly transition into that state. However there was a catch to this, everything that he had active prior to this battle would be forcibly shut off (Slugs turned to ash) and all he was left with the power that was greater than all the Five Kages combined. Jay would come to find out after the duration of explosions that his attack was useless, the buffs that he had on at this moment allowed him to divert the cellular damage and concussive force away from him in a eloquent display of chakra flaring that would be noticeable to even Athos from such a far distance.

"ORARARARARARARARARARARA!" Kamui broke the ground underneath him with a kick of his heel, closing the gap between and the exhausted Jay within a nanosecond; the opponent would see a blurred image of him rearing his arm back from a meter in front of him. He balled up his palm into a fist and unleashed a punch of pressurized air that would bear some resemblance to an elephant's leg, barreling straight towards the chest region of his body; which would result in the man being sent flying towards a rock column near the field of encompassing black flames that would shatter upon impact, creating an enormous and visible crater from his point of impact with the ground below him. Jay could argue that he could be able to dodge it due to his buffs, but at the moment the man was left with only his RnY and that alone wasn't feasible as a defense against this attack; maybe Jay had something up his sleeves to counter this onslaught, but he would leave that to his imagination on what could possibly occur in the next turns.

"You're next." Kamui cocked his head upwards towards the direction that he could feel enormous amount of natural energy being drawn towards a single point, the man was referring to Athos whom at the moment was idly charging up his attack. He reared his arm back and balled up his palm into a fist yet again, the man was able to calculate his precise position with his brain's processing power at the moment that was currently experiencing a hundred times multiplier. Kamui delivered another punch of pressurized air that would quickly converged upon his location from below and would leave him with two choices. One is he could unleash the attack that he was currently charging to further divert his attention away from him or he could stop charging the attack entirely and figure out some way to avoid it; both men that he attacked had Izanagi, so they could use it to avoid any devastating damage if they chose to.

Kamui didn't forget about Taumaster and would have to see if he had survived the brunt of Jay's explosive attack, before he would decide any actions against him next turn. From his knowledge of Blaze Release, it required shape manipulation and the usage of the opposite eye that it was cast from. Taumaster forgot to do this previously and the black flames that were situated in the chest region of his Susano'o would slowly start spread until the man got under his control once again. It didn't help that his navel snake stopped gathering natural energy for him and would leave his Snake Sage Mode with a time limit that would undoubtedly come into question come next turn; the transformation may end if nothing was done to prevent it in the next post.

With his history with the Shodai Otokage, it was more than plausible to say that he was able to counteract this attack or even outright negate the damage in some way; the man might be able to remedy the issues that he even addressed above. Kamui would worry about that when the time came and for now, the fiery aura that he was emanating was burning up the upper half of his clothing; leaving him with only his slacks that started to get small holes on it from the output of chakra that was flooding into his body.

He opted to not stroke his ego and transition his post into filler content, like those he observed from the fight--which looking back at it--wasn't all that effective to type up paragraphs upon paragraphs that could potentially have mistakes in it. But enough of all that jazz, since it was just about that time to see how far he could push himself until the inevitable five turn immobilization period would befall upon him. Kamui was filled with an overwhelming power and could sense the black flames in the background as he took a step forward in the form of a power walk, cracking the ground with each step as the red steam emanated from his body.

While Jay and Kamui charged up their big sexy attacks Tau would ascend his Susano'o farther, stepping it up into its Complete Body, or Perfect form if you prefer. The construct would increase in size and complexity of design as well as gain wings allowing it to fly and hover in the air. It would then do this, immediately launching itself into the air and flapping its wings to gain more distance. Since it would take several seconds for the attack to reach his position this movement would put him near the outside of the attack where he was confident that his sage enhanced Full Body: Susano’o would be able to resist the force of how ever many exploding tags reached him.

Kamui would likely be unable to move since, upon entering the Eight Gates Released Formation, all his muscles would be shredded from the opening of the 7th Gate, as we know that Eight Gates Released Formation, which Kamui specifically uses, is the state of having all 8 Gates opened at once. If being stabbed with a sword is enough to trigger three turns of regeneration and a forced immobilization than Tau would argue that having all of your muscle fibers shredded is at least equal to that. Even if it wasn’t he would certainly be pushed onto at least that tier of damage after using Evening Elephant twice, which hurts the body so much Guy was unable to perform it successfully the first time he tried, and this is from a man who could fight and defeat Kisame with his muscle fibers shredded to the point of causing extreme pain upon any contact with his body.

Then there was what Tau had been preparing since last post and that was a Genjutsu, namely a snake version of Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. Tau himself had taken the place of a second snake and had synchronized the sound of his hissing with the snake fused to his abdomen. As he said in his last post all the combatants would have heard the hissing last turn and since none of them did anything about it they would all logically be struck with the Genjutsu upon the sounds synchronizing now.

Athos would be largely unaffected due to his mastery of his bijuu. As soon as Saiken noticed the effect he was sure Athos would be broken out of it. However since he would pass out for a moment that would mean he’d lose control of his jutsu and they’d all likely shut off for a moment. Meaning his barriers would turn off as well as his buffs, other than Sage Mode, forcing him to re-equip and re-cast them again should he choose to. Of course he’d also begin falling out of the sky. However this likely meant he’d be struck by Kamui’s Sekizo but since Athos makes the Incredible Hulk look like a wimp he’d probably be fine.

Jay has not had 15 weeks to master the Nibi since obtaining it so unless he has mastered the beast previously, which he might have Tau can honestly not recall, the bijuu would not be willing to break him out of the Genjutsu. This would leave his body and mind completely sealed by the Genjutsu till Tau released it. Even if the Bijuu was mastered he’d still fall unconscious for a moment leaving him struck by Kamui’s 8 Gates assault. Hopefully he wasn’t as OP as Athos and would die.

Kamui would be stricken once he had launched his Eight Gates attacks and was basically completely boned. He had no Doujutsu in which to sense the attack, no Sensory barrier in which to sense the attack, and no Sage Mode Chakra Sensing in which to sense the attack. He had nothing to sense anything other than the 100x buff to his mental processing that he made up which is not something the 8 Gates gives you and is not something that would allow you to sense Athos up in the sky while blind or anything else anyway. Increased mental processing/reflexes or what have you =/= sensing abilities. Since Kamui was unable to move, had incinerated his slug friends, had no Sharingan, and couldn’t actually feel pain he didn’t really have any way to break the Genjutsu on himself.

Finally, with that Space-time barrier down (not that Tau knew about it) he’d be able to quickly seal Jay (if he was actually out) and Kamui. Flashing through several kata Tau would summon two large snakes which would burst out of the ground, swallow Kamui and Jay whole, and then vanish in puffs of smoke. They had insides similar to the Toad Gourd Prison and would leave Jay and Kamui trapped even if they somehow managed to extract themselves from the Genjutsu.

Hopefully this would leave just Tau and Athos remaining.

Addendum, Tau would be in no danger of exiting Sage Mode. He has been gathering natural energy the entire fight and has been fairly modest with its usage until this turn with his Perfect Susano’o. You don’t go out of Sage Mode as soon as you stop gathering natural energy you exit it once you use up all the Senjutsu chakra you’ve created. Since Tau had been gathering natural energy for literally the whole fight till just last turn he’d be ok to take a break for a post or two.

There was something about Athos and Genjutsu that was starting to tell him he needed to pay more attention but there wasn't really anything he could do to stop himself from falling under it. The Sharingan wouldn't let him rewrite or defend from an auditory attack, so the redhead would fall victim to the attack. As the genjutsu was cast and he lost consciousness, the barrier he had put up had fallen as Tau had claimed but the Saiken Sage Mode hadn't canceled like he predicted. The reason behind this was because it was known that it was up to the Bijuu if Sage Chakra and Bijuu Chakra could merge, so with Saiken fueling Athos with both chakras it would allow him to keep the buff. The chakra platform that had been beneath his form where he sat disappeared and his body tipped backwards slowly, the attack in his hand staying there before he was completely falling backwards. The attack would fly out of his hands and directly above Athos and flying upwards for only fifty feet or so before the weight of it, which was to such levels that soon only Athos would have only been able to lift it out of the people currently in the fight. It would be falling faster than Athos and, inside Athos' head, Saiken roared,*You damned fool! Snap out of you, you giant oaf!* Kamui's attack would have only come into play a moment later, where it would strike Athos firmly against his back and send him up towards his own attack.

The attack Kamui had launched wasn't capable of doing any external damage to Athos, with the Saiken Sage Mode and his own set of buffs, especially since it was only the second punch of the combo. But it did send the man towards the falling Bijuu Bomb,*Athos Raikon, I swear to the Sage himself!* It was then that Athos' eyes would shoot open and he would take a deep breath, taking in his situation and grunting. He wasn't sure of what had hit him but he was sure that it was an attack that came from Kamui, since he had since Jay's previous attack and Kamui's transformation before having been knocked out. But now wasn't the time for that as his attack came towards him, his right hand coming out and grasping the condensed ball before taking it under his control again like one would a Rasengan.

He would travel upwards past where he had grabbed the ball but only a bit before spinning in the air and aiming his hand downwards, the condensed ball spinning furiously within Athos' palm as he would turn the attack into a Rasen-shuriken with the four blades spinning rapidly along the edges. He poured his leftover Senjutsu Chakra into the ball and as he did, the corrupted chakra would become a bright white, as if 'purified' by the overflow of Senjutsu energy. But just as Kamui had down, as Athos would go to release his attack, the man would bellow a roar,"RRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! The Blue Chakra that had been flowing around Athos in Saiken Mode would flow to his palm and disappear from his form, the combined feelings of their hearts and chakra combined into this attack before it would tear from his hand and straight towards the ground. The force of the attack leaving his hand would send him flying upwards again like a rocket and high above the battlefield, out of anyone's sight or sensing. But it would also go to note that the leaving of both Sage Mode and Saiken Mode, as well as using most of his chakra, would cause Athos to become extremely exhausted as he flew through the air and leave him a turn short next round.

As for his attack, from the time it left his hand and came towards the ground, it would have only taken a whole second but by the time it would struck the ground both Jay and Kamui would have been sealed by Tau(assuming they had not found a way to escape such). But if the attack hadn't sealed them as Tau had planned, then it would explode only ten feet from Kamui's right and however far away Jay and Tau were from the position. The initial explosion would encompass a total of 750 meters in each direction easily, this explosion carrying the Rasenshuriken's ability to destroy and pulverize at a molecular level and a Bijuu Bomb's destructive and overwhelming force. After the initial explosion it would continue to expand past the size of this zone and then some, completely destroying everything in it's path. It aimed to obliterate Tau if he was the only one left, or the others if they were still here but when the attack reached it's maximum size it would spin violently and destroy the surrounding areas from the winds it created for several long moments. This explosion would continue for several moments(This post and the next) before it would come to an end meaning that something like Izanagi wouldn't be effective, having obliterated everyone and even the bones Tau had beneath the ground.

There was some major noise in the background, the sound of hissing he believed to be unrelated to the grand scheme of the battle. Unrelated to this, the Nara would just be slipping out of Sage Mode when he looked on to see what was happening ahead of him.

The all encompassing Roar rocked into Kamui's frame, dragging him backwards. As this was happening, the plethora of explosions were assaulting his Susanoo ribs. Seeing as he mostly had Tau's Susanoo more in mind when he began this assault, the ribs wouldn't last long enough to be a suitable defense. But, it seemed the Uchiha inside those ribs had a better idea than succumbing to the combination.

Putting a mental pin in that, he would focus on Tau. This Edo went with a mighty leap into the air and enhancing his Susanoo further and adding some badass wings to the mix as well, to ultimately evade the technique. The Nara didn't even need to make a note that the leap wasn't enough to escape the plethora of snowflakes heading his way. The storm would rush towards the limbs and wings of the chakra construct, being more than quick enough to keep up for the time being, the corrupted Senjutsu chakra that composed the exploding snowflakes, hopefully causing enough pain to the Edo for him to falter in his flight.

Above, Athos seemed to be forming what was resembling a Rasenshuriken and it was looking more and more menacing by the second. He knew that he was going to be able to tank this, at least most of the damage, with just his Strongest Shield, but he wasn't aiming to actually test the extent to this durability and knew he would have to return to Sage Mode to get back to being able to stay within the blast radius of it, luckily he knew just the way to do that. Even if he was to be subjected to a form of exhaustion, being a Jinchuriki would keep such exhaustion to the barest of minimums, so really, not much of a worry in the short run.

Back to Kamui, he would sense that the explosion of chakra would be a result of opening the Eighth Gate and as soon as his Mind's Eye and Theta State processed this, he would feel an assault to his mind. A Genjutsu? Where? The hissing of the snakes became more prominent in his ears and a pulse shot throughout his body. The powerful auditory Genjutsu was meeting some resistance and the very nature of the Genjutsu was its downfall. This resistance would be his Psionic Membrane and while it received a big chunk of damage from the initial attack, said attack would not yet reap the fruit of its labor. Knowing he had at least another turn before he actually suffered from the effects of the Genjutsu, he knew he would either have to stop the hissing or constantly continue to repair the damage to his Psionic Membrane, just to stay in the fight. Wait a minute, damn, while he was prattling on about this, Kamui had clearly closed the distance between the two of them, despite being blind, he was quite the perceptive Kage... or he should have at least moved... double damn!!

Knowing end of the Nara was near, he would be unable to give the Ancient Uchiha a thumbs up as he went ahead and did two things. The first would be the activation of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, through a flux of Dark Chakra , which would still be quite too late to be of any use at the moment. The second thing he would do would use one of the Sage Seals on his person to infuse his darkened coils with Natural Energy once again and he would reenter Chaos Sage Mode. When the sh*t hit the fan, that sh*t literal exploded everywhere. Of course, by sh*t, I mean a rather huge column of pressurized air rushing towards his chest. Having the Strongest Shield protected him from exploding, but barely as he was pushed backwards. He was quite glad he hadn't forgotten about such a versatile seal on his person and with his Chaos Sage Mode back in the picture, he wouldn't have to wait to rebalance his energies to cooperate with his Senninka.

With Strongest Shield and Sage Mode being his main sources of durability, he was good in surviving what just happened. Even with those two things, he already had an impressive durability, not so impressive as to survive this, but training yourself under so much gravity for so long was some good stuff. Pressurized air was kind of like gravity... kind of... just a tiny bit similar... you know, in essence. Shut up.

As he was rocketing backwards, he would explode through a rock structure thing and the very nature of the elephant's leg would keep the black flames from posing a threat to him as he was virtually sent through it at too high a speed. The actual leg could go for many kilometers as the pressurized blast of air was meeting no real resistance to stop it. Obviously, he would be well outside the projected blast radius of the Rasenshuriken that was dropped by this time. Ever thankful for the small miracle, he knew he would have to get out of this thing eventually.

Considering the size of the Sekizo that was aimed at his chest, he would be happy that he was already outside of the Space-Time Cancellation Barrier, whether it was really still around or not, and he would vanish in a flash of gray and red. He would reappear at least 250 meters in the air. He was already more than 1,750 meters away from the others and the inevitable explosion, but he wouldn't be without wounds.

He would be unaware of whether the summoned snakes would appear at his location, but if they did, his teleportation would be the way he evaded their initial appearance. As he did reappear in the air, his white gi would be ripped to shreds, actually it wouldn't be anywhere in sight. His awesomely muscled figure would have been on display, many of his bandages ripped and stained in a deep red as blood covered his upper body... well, all this would be visible if the Chaotic Cloak wasn't covering his body once again. As such, they would be unable to see the actual state of the diamonds over his right kidney. Three of them would have been a dull red, while one of them would have been black to signify that it was empty of the Natural Energy that had been previously stored within it.

Once again, thanking the small miracle, he would be sort of safe to proceed with his recovery inside his corrupted state. It would take about two turns for him to be back to full health. Hopefully, as he began his descent from the sky, Kamui would be sealed by the snakes and Athos would have taken care of Tau to a certain degree. Of course, with the Edo being airborne as well, and mobile, that would be less than likely.

He knew he was finished with color coding, but he couldn't help himself with doing such. He was also glad to see that, even if the clock was ticking for him, he would have made it. So... yeah, small miracle :D

It seemed in only a matter of moments that there were only two people left; Athos and his student. It was odd how it turned out like this but it didn't mean it was going to stop him from winning the fight. Currently, though, they were out of each other's sensing range and Athos was experiencing severe levels of exhaustion. *You don't think that was too much?* Asked Saiken inside the Uzumaki's Head, to which he gave a small shrug as his right hand rummaged around in the bag that he carried his shinobi items around in. Having only fallen about 500 Meters, leaving him still about 5,500 meters in the air, he had time before he'd even be within Jay's striking range again. The first of his two actions, seeing he lost one due to his aggression the last few turns would come from one of the four items that he drew from his pocket.

The first action was consumed as he placed the Senju Bean between his lips and ate it with a crunch, a noise that would go unheard by Jay but would've been easy to hear had they been standing not far from one another. This effectively put Athos back in his full fighting form, though Saiken let out a groan as Athos replenished only himself,*I'm going to need a break, at least for a little..* The Six Tails muttered to Athos as he prepared itself to watch the ongoings between Jay and Athos.. Even if it was absolutely nothing for the time being.

The other action that Athos pulled would be applying the Weight Seal to the kunai and increasing their weight until several times over until they several tons heavy, before slipping his body around in the air with a grunt. The kunai would take off in the shape of a triangle and begin to plummet towards the ground at almost unethical rates. These kunai, though they wouldn't hit the ground until after Jay's next but they would be 500 meters each direction around Jay, and technically Athos', current position. Of course, considering their size and the distance at which Athos threw them, it was likely that Jay would miss these details in his current state and that was intentionally his goal. Being only two turned this round, though, Athos would have to settle for falling towards the ground for now, currently passing 5000 Meters, and still falling towards the ground.

Initiate 2 Turn Cool-down on Saiken.

By the time, the Nara managed to actually land from his descent from the sky, projections from his Mind's Eye saw that the chakra signatures of the Edo had vanished from his senses. It was interesting and he chalked it up to how it was played out, Kamui being sealed by Tau and Athos handling Tau. This left just the two off them, Sensei vs. Student. He knew that there were going to be multiple instances of this happening in the future and it excited him deep in his core. But, there was something wrong, something off, about this particular battle. He was without something, as if he could feel himself from a different timeline. Seeking perfection was a tiring journey, but it was not impossible. Mentally shaking his head from his current track of mind, he would rocket forward, as soon as he did land on the ground.

Fully aware of amount of chakra returning to his sensei, partially aware of some nefarious intentions in the kunai and completely unaware of the effects that they would bring he would at least attempt to appear outside the boundaries of the large space they would cover, before they had a chance to touch down. Relying on the sheer height of his sensei to an advantage, he would succeed in his intentions, thanks to his RNY that was still active. Of course, once he knew of this (Outside of the projected 500 meter triangle), he would deactivate his Lightning Release Chakra Mode and instead attempt to see if it was possible for him to multiply the effects of the Gates with Sage Mode. Opening the first Two Gates in his brain, the Gate of Opening and the Gate of Healing. This would give him access to his full strength as well as heal him in a similar manner his sensei's Senju Bean, if he was correct in assuming it would be multiplied by 4 with his Corrupted Sage Mode. In actuality, with the opening of those Gates, the flow of chakra would increase exponentially and in order to maintain the balance of his Corrupted Sage Mode, he would have to match this with opening of more Sage Seals, two of them, in the same ease that he had with the Gates.

Once he did this, the ground would explode underneath him as he focused the extra strength in his legs and launched himself forward at half the speed he was moving with his RNY, not entirely sure of the comparison (If there was a projected multiplier for opening the Gates). By the end of his post he would have covered at least 850 meters, leaving a little under 900 meters remaining, give or take a few inches considering he's moving at high speeds. [Just make sure you don't trip on a small rock... then you'll be tumbling around... though it'll really be funny..] Matatabi gave some last second advice in an attempt to relax him just a bit. If things worked in his favor, from opening the first gate and giving himself 100% of his strength, than furthering that by the second gate to an unknown number, but obviously more than 100%... so maybe lets say... 125%, multiplying that by 4 to give us 500% of his strength, which was already insane at 20%. Hopefully, this would make his sensei take him seriously, keeping a close watch on the man's chakra signature to note the subtle differences, just as he was doing towards him.

Athos would create a chakra platform under his feet, halting his descent once he was about 100 feet above the ground. He'd activate his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, his golden hues changing shape but not color. With his Mind's Eye open he would calculate Jay's approach. With the Sharingan it would be easy to quickly judge how much distance Jay could cover how fast. Jay had moved out of the triangle but Athos had fallen down right in the middle of it so since Jay just noted he was dashing forward with no direction in mind he has to assume he is dashing toward him. This would quickly put him back in the sealing area and, once Athos had calculated he would not have enough time to escape if he tried, he'd activate the Uzumaki Triangle Seal.

The formula would spread to connect the three kunai in mere moments and would then suck Jay down into the ground and seal him. He could of course attempt an escape though as Athos already noted at his current speed he'd not be able to escape the seal in time. He could try some other means but he'd only get one shot before the seal finished him and Athos was waiting to counter whatever he might attempt to do. Athos himself was safely out of the seal's range.

I don't always make sense, but that's kind of the point.

This is where the Nara would grow confused as to the original trajectory of his sensei, having assumed his falling state as purely a vertical matter. He didn’t think the man was moving in any sort of horizontal fashion, but apparently it was a diagonal one along with the kunai he chucked in his direction. Seeing as he was previously 1750 meters away from the Uzumaki, in a horizontal way, while said Uzumaki was 5000 meters in the air, at the 1750 meter mark, it meant that the Uzumaki would end up flying above his head to position himself in the midst of his triangle. A slight hiccup in the plan, but rectifiable all the same. Accounting for the shift in direction, the Nara would come to a halt, his Mind’s Eye noting his position 100 feet above his probable seal. Knowing of the prowess of the Uzumaki he was facing, as well as the placement of the kunai, he would deduce the type of seal he was aiming to use. The Uzumaki were more than generous enough to allow him into their village, but he himself was not a simple guest. He believed he was on their level in some cases, and while his creativity wasn’t on their level, he clearly understood the type of complex characters they used in their Fuinjutsu formulas.

He would let a smirk display itself on his features, being a few hundred meters away from the Man of Steel, slowly walking towards the seal, but not venturing inside. But, this was not the platform to say that infamous line, so he held off on it, but barely… He cracked around 50 meters away from the edge, the two kunai on this side being about 285/245 meters away, give or take. ”Tell me, sensei… He looked up at the airborne redhead, shrouded in a sea of blue light. The golden hues of his sensei, still holding the design of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, would look down towards the dark gray hues of his mutated eyes, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan staring back at him. do you bleed?” With that, he would proceed to open the next three Gates, of Life, of Pain and Limit, rushing straight to said Fifth Gate. Of course, this would be followed by opening three of his Sage Seals, dipping into those on the ends of his belt. Having started with eight, using one to get back into Sage Mode, two and then three, meant he had two left for the next two Gates. The outward effects of opening these Gates would largely unnoticeable, though the output of power would be the clear indicator that the Nara wanted a truly spectacular fight.

His next action would be the immediate leap from the ground, a deep crater forming and breaking from the power of the take off. It would be reminiscent of the beginning of the fight, except the Nara had a plan for when he reached his sensei. Because from the looks of things, it seemed as if the Nara was still standing in the broken crater. Around a possible 200+ meters traveled in a near instant, but the Uzumaki could possibly see the Lariat heading in his direction. He might also see that it was a feint, considering the real action was used for a Shadow Clone (OOC = Afterimage from pure speed). But what was the clone doing while its master went into battle? Or was the clone the one that went into the air during the creation of the crater? Would the Uzumaki be able to tell the difference between the two in the small time frame? How would he be able to actually tell the difference between them? Well, the devil was in the details and the Sage could possibly figure it out. If he didn’t figure it out fast enough, the feint would result in a reality and Athos might take a Lariat to the neck. Athos loved to use his speed in those training simulators and the one thing he always did, talking about Jay, was have his Sharingan active. As such, not only had he gotten adjusted to his sensei’s speed, but he’d also copy it like Sasuke did with Lee. While Athos could say that it wasn’t his true speed, but the surprise of it all could really make him lose sight of everything and if that happened, Lariat in the neck. The Nara knew full well what his original plan was and as soon as his sensei acted, he would execute it.

The distance between the seal and the angle of the leap would place him over the range of the seal, about even with Athos when he reached his position. The speed of his frame would make him too fast a target to lock onto for the seal below him to properly seal him up, if he was to miscalculate the vertical range of the Uzumaki Sealing Technique/Uzumaki Triangle Seal. Either way, his Mind’s Eye would notice any sort of hiccup and with the way Theta State was processing everything, he would be able to react to anything in an immediate manner.
