The scene below him exploded into action. The four remaining contenders seem to focus solely on each other. Nearly instantaneous movements and counters, black flames and lightning flashing into existence, and super empowered modes decorated the field. But if they were going to go all out, then that meant he could as well. He would form three kata in quick succession, ending with the Horse Seal. Dark gray clouds would gather quickly over the entire field, blotting out the sun, and lowering the temperature just a bit. The participants would not have to wait long, however, as the clouds opened up to downpour of acid rain. All of them would most likely assume that it was another nefarious technique but they would be oh so wrong.

Anything and everything that the acid rain touched would begin to dissolve. The rain was so potent in its acidity that it would even be able to melt down a bijū cloak AND the natural armor of the Sennin Mōdo users. The rain would reduce chakra back to its natural state of life energy and therefore no longer weaponized. It also broke up natural armor by eliminating the chakra that was intermingled with the nature energy which would then harmlessly release the nature energy back to Mother Gaia. Even the Strongest Shield wielders would be subjected to being dissolved as it chemically broke apart the skin down to the molecular level. The Edo Tensei zombies would also be affected as it worked to eliminate their regeneration factors by disrupting the chakras that were used to constantly rebuild and keep their forms. It can even melt Susanoo. Nothing was safe from from being dissolved except for Dart himself. He, and consequently anything that carried his signature or was attached to his body, would be the only entities immune to being dissolved. As it might have been suspected, this was a very strictly monitored technique and not one commonly used because it was so indiscriminate in what it affected nor was it an overall powerful technique because it doesn't instantly dissolve anything. Much how rain takes awhile to make things nice and moist, so too does this technique need time to completely dissolve anything. So, the others would certainly see and/or feel the beginning effects of the tech take hold but they still had plenty of time to fight through or counter it but they would see their shrouds begin to fade (unless they outputted more chakra to them) and their  (projectile) techniques weaken before their eyes the longer it was exposed to the rain. Their bodies would also sting everywhere as if it were the worst sunburn of their life. The only technique that wouldn't be affected would be Amaterasu as the flames generated enough heat to vaporize the liquid....only to release the acid as a superheated mist that, if inhaled, would begin to dissolve the breather from the inside-out. This mist would also serve to fill the battlefield to further dampen visuals of all as well and seeking to infiltrate the others, though it would first localized where the Amaterasu would be situated.

Of course, it contained his chakra and he had a particularly blinding effect for his chakra. His chakra would be seen as a bright seafoam green which all the special eyes would have to register since both the Sharingan and Rinnegan are able to perceive chakra color. Dart's previous buffs would still be active and thus he glided through the air, undetectable and silent, as we waited for the next move, fully expecting a counter in an attempt to dispel his clouds. He removed one of the twin shortswords from his back and gripped it firmly with his left hand. He felt confident that would be all he needed but he wanted to keep his right hand free so he could make his one-handed kata.

Futton: Sansei Ame no Jutsu (Boil Release: Acid Rain Technique)
Futton: Kōmu no Jutsu (Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique) variant only localized around the immediate area of Amaterasu

Though pain was something Athos could handle with ease, it went to note that the contact with Jay and his Chaos Sage Mode caused a type of corruption on his feet. And as he preformed his next actions, it would further increase the pain but it wouldn't be anything that would have to cause him to falter, at least not yet.

There was a moment when everything seemed to slow down for Athos, seeing thanks to the Way of the Fist, he's mind works at levels equal to someone under the effects of RNY without any effort. But even without that, he had both his Sharingan and the Saiken Mode that he had been using to make up for any short comings. But so much began to happen at once and Athos couldn't let his guard down, not now. As Jay launched his attack, there was a sudden surge of chakra that came from Athos as he called forth on the Natural Energy around him that he would easily convert into Senjutsu chakra, effectively letting enter a state one could call Saiken Sage Mode, though it wasn't officially that and was a form Athos couldn't manage for excessive amounts of times but ultimately maxing his total buff in numbers an impressive x7.5. The man would throw himself straight upwards with as much energy and strength as he could muster, enough behind him that the ground shattered and cracked when he pressed off it. This let him just narrowly dodge the lightning bolt that Jay had shot and allow it to directly strike Kamui in the chest, seeing as the man hadn't done much to move himself out of the way of the attack.

But as Athos had started to launch himself upwards, he had activated his Mind's Eyes and made note of everybody's position, as he had done the same with his Sharingan but now he had a more clear view of the battlefield. But it would also be good to note that with his Mind's Eye now active, Athos was about to see Dart, essentially. And the reason would be the clouds that Dart had summoned above the battlefield, the same clouds Athos had just thrown himself towards. The technique Dart had used to hide himself did so by reflecting light off of himself, meaning that when the rain started to fall, one of two things would happen; either the rain would disappear as it came in contact with Dart or it would outline the shape of the person, seeing that it wasn't meant to also reflect the light of each and every drop of water. That was a valuable piece of information.

But even when Athos would know the position of everyone, he would seen be high above them, his jump from before having been meant to carry him upwards and, in doing so, above the clouds of acids that had formed. Of course, it didn't stop what acid rain did hit him but it was barely any, seeing as before Sage Mode was added the man was moving like a blue stream across the battlefield, so with it he was in the sky and above the ground before the first drops even hit the ground fully, good thing Dart had been in the air as well.

Once he was above the clouds, Athos hands easily weaved three handseals and then threw themselves directly into the air as he released his jutsu. Using both the Bijuu Chakra that came from Saiken, the Six-Tailed Slug, and the Senjutsu chakra that was now flowing through his body he fueled his next attack, Dust Release: Genocide Attack. From his hands came forth an explosion of chakra that would take the form of a multitude of fist sized balls that were capable of tearing through any jutsu that could be thrown it's way, and defense that could be thrown at it(Susanoo, Strongest Shield) and it even had the ability to punch through attacks and defenses enhanced with Senjutsu chakra, thanks to the same energy that could be found in each of these attacks. At first, they would be hard to see before they punched and tore through Dart's clouds, those of which would probably reform because they were clouds but still, and fly down toward the battlefield. In the span of only a second or so, a total of one hundred dust release blasts had left Athos hands and moved to plague the battlefield.

But that wasn't all, thanks to the fact that he had known exactly where everyone had been, Athos would have known where to send the blasts so that they threatened everyone on the battlefield beneath him. A total of twenty-five blasts of Senjutsu, Bijuu enhanced dust release balls would have come swarming towards Kamui Uchiha, Taumaster, Jay Nara, and Dart Terumi. But the attacks didn't just come from straight up, they came down and made sure to swarm each of the opponents, closing off a plethora of directional escapes that they could make. Seeing the bolt of lightning that would hit Kamui should catch him off guard, with Taumaster's attack and Dart's own furthering it into an acid mist sort of thing, the blasts came around and down, from the sides and behinds, as well as above. It aimed to litter him full of holes. But the same could be said about Taumaster and Jay, though they both had the most time to try and think of how they would defend themselves before the blasts came from all angles and tried to turn them into Swiss as well. That only left Dart, who was airborne but the closest to Athos and the attacks, which aimed to come down and around the man so to close off his escape and almost chase him towards the ground like a falling cage before he would meet a gruesome death like the lot of them. With this attack, though it never worked the way anyone wanted, Athos hoped to end this Free For All.

Ahh, this was quite the pickle. The Nara had wanted to swiftly finish his sensei off with his attack, at the most. Seeing him evading his near point-blank technique, filled him with a bit of worry and confusion. He wondered if his sensei had looked into adding a Sage Seal in that infamous Left Arm Fuinjutsu of his (and had just forgot about it in his old age... because he's like really old, not older than Kamui, but the Edo was in his prime so it didn't really count), because it would be a real messed up thing for the man to piggyback on the Natural Energy pulling towards him and use it for his own nefarious means. He knew he was skilled, but this would be one of the only times he was being serious and it was surprising to see the degree of control the old man had in his faculties. He knew as soon as he shot up into the air, he should have been scathed just a bit, so he was going to up the ante. Jay knew, for a fact, that his corruption was going to be eating at his sensei's chakra coils and the inclusion of the darkened sky made him think of something. The presence of the acid in the rain would sizzle upon contact with his corrupted cloak, as the two entities had similar qualities amongst them. He wondered how the rain would affect the others, seeing as his sensei would aim to remain above the clouds altogether.

With Taumaster, he was sure, he'd be able to shrug it off as long as he remained moving. With his Edo status, he would be able to regenerate anything that was lost, unless this rain could eat at the ash faster than the ash could reform. The same could be said with Kamui, but with the degree of firepower heading his way, his ignored lightning doing such damage that it would rip through him like wet tissue paper. His sensei was wrong though, having been aiming for that man's chest. Seeing as how Athos loved to remind everyone of his height, six feet and seven inches, he would be a near foot taller than Kamui who was stated (on the wiki page) as being five feet and eight inches. With his lightning technique being ten inches, it would take the Uchiha's head off.

In any case, before he could even be surprised at the amount of agro the Shodai Hokage was generating, his Mind's Eye/Theta State Combo took notice of the very first blast of Dust Release used by his sensei. Damn, Dust Release was something that could definitely bypass his defenses. When it was on seventy-fifth blast, only showing how fast these blasts were being released in this very second (with even more being released for that 100 mark), the Nara would begin his counters against both the acid rain and the extremely enhanced Genocide Attack.

Fully aware of the fact that he couldn't go past two stacks, his sensei choosing Sage Mode and Saiken Mode, he would have to go with Sage Mode and Raiton no Yoroi. He would need speed this time around and as the surge of blackened lightning began to spark up amongst the already flame-like appearance of his Chaos Sage Mode. His form looked like a force of nature, contained in a single space, as the black lightning grew more corrupted and developed red coloring as well to match the state of his corrupted form. This extra output of chakra would help with the defense of the acid rain and keep it from getting to his skin.

When his form would be completed at full power, the multitude of Dust Release blasts would begin punching through the clouds on their way towards the ground. They were coming in faster than two shakes of a jackrabbit's behind and he took special notes with his Theta State to calculate their trajectories. With 25 on them coming towards him, he would have to spend these next precious seconds evading each and every one of them that came his way.

With the extra speed at his nimble toe-tips, it was time to go to work and he couldn't have any of these fist sized attacks coming in contact with him. So with the flexibility of a snake, he began to go through his evasive maneuvers. The 1st was easy, simply moving to the left at the last moment. But then, it grew complex. 2nd and 3rd came at the same time and he had to zip at a much faster rate. 4th through 15th, made him consider a bigger counter in the form of the Zanzo Bunshin|Afterimage Clone, which created 15 clones of himself that would cover nearly 20 meters. He would zip through clone after clone as he took extreme note that the blasts were following his real form each time a clone took his place.

On the outside, he might have seem as cool as a cucumber, but on the inside, he was going crazy. 'SH*TSH*TSH*TSH*T!!!' He continued to yell out in his mind, the blasts being just a tad faster than he was moving. Damn his sensei for adding Saiken's chakra in the blasts as well. He wasn't the only one freaking out, as Matatabi was yelling out commands as well. [LEFT! RIGHT! NOT THAT CLONE! DAMMIT JAY, MOVE FASTER! AHHH, LOOK OUT!!] This was just crazy and he swore one of those blasts had connected with his hair, because it was now shorter than it was when he started. But wait, there was more and that came in the form of the 16th and the 25th blasts.

To deal with those, the Nara had to think about the battlefield as a whole, taking note of what the others were doing and acting accordingly (making sure he wasn't anywhere near them by at least 65 meters with how he was moving around so wildly). Whether he could see Dart with his own Mind's Eye or not, he had to curse the man for bringing the rain on all of them. With his battlefield wide attack, he saw that it was only obvious that Athos would be able to do the same with his Dust Release attack, especially considering since he had the aforementioned Sage Mode and Saiken Mode mixed together for the Saiken Sage Mode. Obviously his mind had drifted, so it was time to get back to things at hand, this being the fact that he would leap into the air.

True to form, the blasts would give chase and as they grew closer, he would vanish in a flash of black and red, reappearing at one of his many aforementioned Hiraishin Markers, the blasts being forced to collide amongst themselves as they moved to change their directions. Of the blasts 5 would remain, so he would have to deal with those in his next turn, showing that it was going to quite difficult to handle this entirely, but he was ready.

Oh boy, Kamui was in a bit of trouble as it would seem. A variety of factors were unaccounted for and to make matters worse, there was a very fast lightning beam already converging on his location. It was so fast that his detection barrier barely gave him enough time to react, so the man would have to play it by the vest in order to avoid getting taken out so early in this brawl.

Now the distance between point a and b and the time that it would take for the lighting beam to reach him could be debated, but the actions that Taumaster just used had really help him avoid this head shot. It was very smart of Kamui to allow his body to be overcome by the sudden hurricane gale force that erupted into the zone from above, since it was more than strong enough to pin his body to the ground and it would allow him to narrowly avoid the lighting beam by a mere inch or so; this was one unaccounted action that was avoided for now.

There was no clarification from Taumaster that his wind would disrupt his previous actions of his summoning technique, so he will assume that these winds suddenly happened before he could summon anything. Which wasn't that much of a big deal, but these black flames, the boil release techniques and the resulting barrage of Dust Release beams made him change his tactics up a bit. The tomoes in his left eye would rapidly spin upon the black flames being teleported to his location, his pupils became dilated as it would seem that the spikes of black flames had finish their job of impaling him while he appeared to be slowly burning up to a crisp; anyone nearby would be quick to find out that a genjutsu was activated at the moment that his body made contact with these black flames.

Kamui faded away into existence, only for him to suddenly re-appear unscathed standing up on the outside of the short perimeter of these black flames. At the moment the resulting acidic mist and fog was only situated within the vicinity of the black flames, which meant that the corroding fog that was created from the rapid evaporation due to the extreme heat around the area wouldn't harm him just yet, since he was already on the outside of the it's range when his genjustu activated. However the actions of Dāto made it more difficult to ascertain everyone's position, but his passive motion-detecting barrier that he had kept active since the start of the battle allowed him to make up for it all.

There was an option to end this quickly by surpassing his previous limitations and going straight into Eight Gates Release Formation, but that wouldn't be no fun to use at this moment since he could always use other strategies. He decided on a whim to sacrifice his left eye that had access to his own black flames in order to activate this very powerful genjutsu that removed the boundaries between reality and illusion around his personal space. This would mean that any damage done by the other competitors would be negated, including the resulting barrage of Dust Release beams that converged upon his location, but we are getting to that.

Now considering how fast these beams were, it wouldn't take long for all of them to converge upon his location and have the damage be negated each time they had hit him. Kamui would begin dashing forward about three meters before he was interrupted by seven of these beams and came to halt or so it would seem at first. What happened was with each beams that hit him, the damage was immediately negated right then and there; thus allowing him to continue on as if nothing happened to him.

Being of both Senju and Uchiha descent meant that Kamui could control his state of existence for a brief moment of ten minutes with his completed form of Izanagi, which was more than enough time to reestablish his earlier actions of summoning his slugs. He would have the opportunity to resume his actions after the last of those annoying beams were done with, which came and went. Now it is safe to assume that ten minutes will not happen within the time-span of one post, since that wouldn't make sense whatsoever; meaning that he could go forward with his next course of actions as planned.

Now since Athos had quite an impressive buff to work with, he would assume that it would take less than second or two for all twenty-five of these beams to converge upon his location and turn the land around him into Swiss cheese. The timetable was debatable nonetheless, but either way the man would quickly kick up his heel and dashed away about twenty meters from where the black flames lingered and was about fifty-three meters from where Taumaster was at. He would come skidding to a halt as he slammed his palm onto the ground as a summoning formula erupted from the point of contact.

'Summoning!' Kamui mentally intone and without a moment's notice, a small plume of smoke erupted and revealed a pair of pale white slugs that began slithering up his leg; they would eventually make their way up his body with one of each slug positioning themselves on his shoulders. Both of these slugs that were individually on his shoulders would play a key role in keeping him from falling prey to any more hindrances when he tried to transition into his transformation, meaning that they would fuse into his shoulders upon position and would begin continuously gathering natural energy for him. This course of action would allow the man to continue moving and react accordingly without losing any natural energy in the process; thus it allow him to circumvent the weakness of exhausting all of his natural energy in battle. Kamui would remain vigilant throughout the process of the slugs gathering natural energy for him, keeping his wits about him and also every available sensing option available; which was the detection barrier and his own eyes.

Taumaster was a distance away from the Amaterasu flames so he would not be within range of the acid cloud that it created. Considering the incredible heat would cause an updraft and that he had ceased his Wind Jutsu he’d be in no danger of it reaching him. He was also tucked safely in his hood so the acid rain would have to eat through that first before it started to eat at his body. He’d see Kamui be skewered and then vanish out of the flames, it was obvious he had used Izanagi.

Kamui had not really addressed the chakra absorbing acid rain at all so he’d have to assume that it absorbed his sensory barrier, since the barrier had zero defensive ability, and that once he summoned his slugs they would begin to by burned by it as well, probably making it impossible for them to sit still and gather natural energy for him. Since he said he turned and ran away from the black flames and Tau he assumes the Shodai is facing away from him. So he would simply repeat his actions from last turn.

Senpo: Amaterasu
Senpo: Futon: Daitoppa

A ten meter wide explosion of black flames would engulf Kamui and his slugs and the hurricane force winds would again slam down all around him for 15 meters in any direction. Since he didn’t have his barrier this time and wasn’t looking at Tau he should have no way to preempt the attack.

Finally Tau would continue to spread his underground Sawaribi no Mai farther and farther. Other than right where it entered the ground at his feet Tau had pushed the bones deep enough to avoid the penetrative gaze of the Sharingan and had been spreading it out all this time. Considering in the second stage of the Curse Seal, which is literally just a weaker version of Sage Mode, Kimimaro was able to create this much bone in about 15 seconds

and on SL one is able to claim that in 1 turn, Tau would have spread his bones much wider than the initial area in which they were fighting, they now extended into the surrounding jungle and were still attached to him, growing wider still.

He would make no effort to dodge the Dust Release attack that had been launched at him and all 25 blasts would punch fist sized holes in his body. He’d yawn, and continue to watch Kamui with his one good eye, as the other had been punched out by a Jinton blast, perhaps he’d decide on a whim to Izanagi out of the second attack launched at him, for now he was fine. He’d be able to keep up the wind jutsu just fine whilst full of holes, that is the advantage of being immortal. So with any luck Kamui would once again be pinned to the ground and burned to ash along with his slugs. The wind would of course be attacked by the chakra absorbing rain but since Tau could continue to create it indefinitely and the rain would not immediately absorb it all it was really no concern to him.

Ash and dust would begin to fill in the holes that had been blown into his body as his Edo form regenerated. In spite of what Dart thought his rain would do nothing to inhibit this as he was not expending chakra to do it, it was just a natural property of his undead body. Certainly a more logical claim than Isaribi claiming chakra absorbing rain would just suck the binding out of a zombie and kill them immediately, but not one that was any less wrong.

If any of the combatants knew how Edo Tensei worked they’d know he’d take some time to regenerate and due to the extent of the damage would not be able to move his body to any great degree. Though if they thought he was helpless he’d be sure to show them just how wrong they were.

1.   Senpo: Amaterasu
2.   Senpo: Futon: Diatoppa
3.   Continue Senpo: Sawaribi no Mai

Edo Regeneration Period: 4 turns, forced immobilization.

Going with what Athos is saying is the current timeline, which is him arriving above the clouds before the first droplets of the acidic rain could touch the ground (and that's from the ground, jumping, regardless of his speed enhancers) then it can be surmised that Dart would be able to pass through his clouds right after Athos did as he was the closest to his own technique and light enough to ascend rapidly without needing more of a modifier. Athos also never specified exactly when he launched his attack once he got above the clouds, so it's going to be assumed that he would have launched his attack at the peak of (as noted and boasted) strong leap which would have sent him very, very high into the atmosphere, well beyond the clouds and without any modifiers to slow him down, he'd have to wait for gravity to take hold and his brief freefall would be when his attack launched. Thus his peak of his jump.

Dart, upon seeing the blue blur stop momentarily pause, gather an insane power boost that spiked his power levels, and then leap into the sky, figured that he might as well follow the man's ascent and thus flew through his clouds and popping out the other side, unintentionally cutting off Athos's ability to 'sense between the lines' and thus reestablishing his hidden presence entirely. With that in mind, he would fly after the man, always maintaining a 30 yard gap to the man's right, and once he reached the peak of his jump, Dart watched with muted admiration as he unleashed some sort of hellish attack that rained down from the heavens like a meteor shower. Luckily for him, Dart would have dodged a bullet just by ascending as the 25 meant for him would have nothing to track! And he was well out of the range of the balls being released so as to not be accidentally clipped by one, but just to have it documented, he would easily be able to dodge whatver ones for too close to him by using his Sharingan to evade their movements. His Eien no Mankegyō Sharingan that was still active from prior turn activation. So Dart would remain in the fight, unscathed and uninterrupted in his pursuit to win this match. Not wanting to allow this unbridled and unguarded chance to slip by (as Athos never did state focusing back to the task at hand and his hands were thrown in the air AND as the prior judge had decided that his Sage Mode wouldn't last, Athos would be in Sage Exhaustion from being forced out of it, not that Dart knew ICly that he had gone Sage Mode to begin with) Dart would focus sharply on Athos's boasted large chest and activate a technique that would spell his doom.

The hybrid would tap into his Uchiha side of his bloodline and activate a rather annoying yet incredibly useful technique with such speed that bested even the Truth-Seeking Balls! He fired off a both eyes Kamui on the entirety of Athos's torso. His torso would be sucked into the abyss within half a second and thus end his dog in this fight. His body wouldn't be able to activate his Healing Power as his source of chakra would be gone, whisked away into Dart's Kamui realm. Which, should be noted, that his torso would end up in a pool of acid, where it would dissolve in 3 seconds. That might be enough time for him to regenerate if it weren't for the fact that the pool of acid was inside a dome. A dome that nullified any and all chakra within its confines, thus preventing Athos's torso from generating the chakra needed to regen and making it dissolve into nothing but chemical bonds. This dome was specially designed to withstand even the mightiest of chakras (Bijū) and this would easily be able to nullify Athos's. In the actual world, his head and limbs would fall to the ground below, devoid of life (obviously) and it's protective chakra shroud where it would fall through the acidic rain and dissolve into mush before splattering in the ground below and dissolving completely.

Dart did not display any negative emotion in his activation of his technique as he was remaining in control of his emotions so there wasn't a chance for Athos to detect the activation via Negative Emotions. His chakra presence is also masked due to his prior buffs, so Athos can't detect the buildup of chakra in his eyes. The only real way he would have known about the attack is when it hit and then his torso would be gone. His brain would continue for a brief moment of time before shutting down and in that time, he would know that even a God can fall.

Meanwhile, in the land below his clouds, Dart wouldn't have a clue as to what was occurring to the other participants as he couldn't see them and his attention was admittedly focused solely on Athos, so his chakra sensory took a momentary backseat. Refocusing, he decided to wait above the clouds and begin to formulate a new widespread cataclysm that he could drop on the others.

I, Eric Nara, the current judge for the match, was called in to make a decision regarding Dato's post. After a obscene amount of personal note taking and the discussion that occured in:

http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,9269.0.html

it is clear to me that Dato's entire post was based off of an assumption that I find to be incorrect: that Athos did not use his dust release attack until he reached the apex of his jump, which in of itself could be considered character control since at no point in Athos' post is it suggested that he reaches an apex except when he puts his hands in the air.

Jay's dodge of the dust release fits was fairly elaborate, Taumaster's lack of caring to dodge was kind of surprising for me, and Kamui's izanagi leave Dart's dodge as the most vague of the set regarding how he actually dodges the attack. He is at a much shorter distance to the source of the attack, and yet, has a easier time dodging at least in part because he is not tracked via chakra anymore.

However, Athos' attack:

Quote
... aimed to come down and around the man so to close off his escape and almost chase him towards the ground like a falling cage
.

Because Athos launching his attack and Dato's emergeance from the clouds are so close together, then it is reasonable to assume that Athos would still send his balls attacking in this manner, save for their inability to track him and thus Dato only having to dodge them once, but still having to dodge them in a manner consistent with the barrage attempting to force him downwards towards the clouds where he can more easily be tracked.

Option 1: Dato reposts. Since Kamui was allowed a repost earlier in this match, I see fit that if necessary, everyone can get one repost. However, there are conditions under which I am imposing upon this repost:

* No Kamui. Not double eyed, intangibility, or otherwise during this repost.

* You are not allowed to add another augumentation to your mobility/stealth kit without releasing one of the ones that you have, as it really to me skirts the boundary between reasonable and "ridiculous" at this point, especially given that you wanted to perform a double eyed kamui while maintaining 4 other separate jutsu (not states, not modes, jutsu) at the same time. If you want a review on which ones (none of which I noticed to have been released) are the acid rain, the earth spear, the lightweight rock, and the Mujin technique.

* When re-writing your post, take into consideration that Athos performs his attack shortly after leaving the clouds, and that you do not make a move to dodge until after he sends you your 25 dust gifts. You are then dodging using your sharingan to predict their movements and the benefit of them not being able to track you unless you duck back into the cloud cover or something of that sort.

Option 2: They can go eye for an eye. If Dato and Athos both have an issue with this decision, then I offer the alternative ruling that both Athos and Dato may be written to fall to each others' attacks and the remaining combatants continue on. 'cause really if neither of them are satisfied with option 1 then mutual knockout to me is the next best thing.

Personally I prefer the first option because it feels more like a win-win scenario to me. Dato's evasion is a bit sketch so he gets a chance to elaborate on it with a better understanding of Athos' actual post, and Athos gets about the same chance to do or do nothing about his situation in the air with a ruling where he has some time before Dato's attack lands to do or do nothing.

Kamui

(Repost per Judge's decision)

Dart, upon seeing the blue blur stop momentarily, gather an insane power boost that spiked his power levels, and then leap into the sky, figured that he might as well follow the man's ascent and thus flew through his clouds and popping out the other side, unintentionally cutting off Athos's ability to 'sense between the lines' and thus reestablishing his hidden presence entirely. Dart would have been roughly 30 yards from the man when he had first jumped up and he simply ascended in line with that instead of teetering towards one direction or the other, thus he was still roughly 30 yards (give or take a few inches) when he breached his clouds. However, instead of simply seeing the man solo, Dart was met with a grisly (yet spectacular) display of a chakra explosion from his hands that resulted in the formation of several, several odd balls. Then, they scattered, aiming towards the ground below.

Dart was able to count them as his Sharingan was able to perceive their color and see their movements as individual balls but he lost count at 52 when he noticed that a particular cluster seemed to be coming straight for him rather swiftly. For a brief spell, he was confused on why they would be heading straight for him and how anyone would have been able to sense his presence unless.... He cursed himself mentally as he knew how it was done. Athos must have utilized his own rain against in order to pinpoint his location and now his position was compromised! Using his Sharingan more sharply to observe the path that the cluster took as a whole at first then focusing on the individual path of each ball, he was able to determine that their intent was very similar to a tech he was very familiar with (Sensatsu Suishō) and thus he knew that there was an opening. And sure enough, as they approached, they seemed to want to spread out in an attempt to capture him within a sphere of death. That wouldn't be good despite their actual small size, Dart wasn't allowed to use other techniques to block them! So, he would do exactly as he previously said that he could to outrun and dodge them!

Further lowering the gravity on himself down to next to none
(As hitting zero gravity would be an entirely different technique which isn't allow in his repost), Dart would be able to increase his speed nearly fivefold as he wasn't nearly shackled by the planet's gravitational pull at this point. Unluckily, this would carry a rather unfortunate drawback as he would also be forced from the planet because there was nothing to keep him semi-grounded. He would launch backwards swiftly just as the first few managed to get to his sides and blow past them with ease before they could entrap him. His path would not be linear, though, as near-zero gravity would cause him to have a gradual incline and that's how his travel backwards would be, back and up in a incline slope, like an asymptote on a graph. He understood that continuing to distance himself could jeopardize his safety, but he didn't know the extent of the ball's tracking and range nor was he able to yet determine if Athos could still continue to sense him. So, as well as traveling backwards, he was forced to ascend until he was well 1,000 yards away from Athos's balls by the time that it affected the other contestants. Luckily, the troposphere was miles long and not yards long so he would still be in a relative safe zone by the time his next post comes around so he reshackle himself with gravity and descend. Other than that, he would be forced to continue to rise as gravity didn't really have a hold on him at this point. It wasn't an intentional climb, so it was at a slower rate once he hit the 1,000 yard marker, but nonetheless he kept floating heavenwards.

Athos' attack would have lashed out as expected and uninterrupted but with his Mind's Eye did he see the results of the attack but he didn't just sit around and wait to see what happened. No, especially not when Athos was fully aware of the person that his attack had hit. Dart would had lost an arm and seeing that was the only body part that the man had lost, he was actually lucky considering it could have been much worse. But because of that wound, blood would essentially be pouring out of Dart and no longer would Athos need to struggle to find Dart as it was extremely easy now. Now it went to note that, just like any Dust Release Technique, the blasts that had left Athos' hands would have stayed connected and he could control them but his main focus would be on Dart. Before he could even fully escape to where he had planned, the balls would have come toward him and changed angles before shredding the rest of his body to pieces.

But it went to say that none of the above actually took up any new time since the last action that was made, though thankfully Athos would only need to use one hand to maintain the 25 original blasts that had aimed to finish tearing Dart apart, and because of that the hand that was closest to facing the way Dart had ran would be allowed to be free. Now, as easy as breathing would Athos call forth on his chakra to leave his feet to form solid platforms that would be just enough to keep him in the air and to give the impression that the man was levitating. In less than a moment, thanks to the 7.5 overall buff that Saiken Sage Mode was, he was able to weave a total of three handseals with his right hand. To give an idea on how long it took for that to happen, the blasts of Athos' that were already on Dart would have fully been continuing their pursuit and just finished moving after him as well. As the first three handseals had left his hand, two things happened at exactly the same time. From his form would erupt a barrier than only those with the Rinnegan could see/sense that would spread from him and across the whole battlefield to a total of 1500 meters in less time than it would take Dart to make it to his initial 1000 meter mark, as well as making sure to stretch all the way down to the battlefield beneath and effectively stop all the people within the barrier, except Athos, to lose access to all Space-Time Ninjutsu.

The second thing that happened at that moment was a voice ringing out in Athos' head just as he was about to run out of Senjutsu chakra,*Not today!*Rang Saiken's voice in an almost heroic way as the beast began to easily gather Natural Energy in Athos state, to which then was converted essentially naturally into more Senjutsu chakra and allowed Athos to keep this enlightened state. It was always good to have friends that weren't trying to kill you.

But speaking of killing your friends, it would be good to note that with the attacks pursuing Dart and hopefully killing him only a second after originally failing to do so, that his situation was sticky. By the time he would even get close to reaching his initial 1000 meter mark, the rest of the Dust Release attacks would have blown out the rest of his body. One of the first places the blasts would hit would be the man's upper face, removing both of his eyes from play and stopping him before he could even think about forming three hands to try an attempted Izanagi. Even if he had tried to use any Space-Time in the extremely small window, Athos' barrier would have covered the distance Dart had been making before he could escape and bring him back into this realm and end his thoroughly. Thanks to the fact that, at the risk of breaking the fourth wall, the Judge had said Dart had no chance to actually outrun the blasts, hopefully this would be the end of Dart; obliterated into oblivion.

Still deep in the feels of the Adventure Time - Islands – Miniseries, but still continuing from his last post, the man looked towards the balls of Dust Release as they adjusted their trajectories and honed back onto his chakra signature. The time he spent dodging these projectiles was enough time to study them and he was confident that they wouldn't be as difficult as he may have believed. As if there was a switch going off in his mind, the flames/lightning combo around him began to grow frigid, stiffening significantly. This frigid nature only lasted a second as the balls rushed towards him.

He would burst to his left, away from the other combatants, his Mind's Eye giving him a recollection of everything that was happening on the battlefield. In his place, a construct of ice would appear, solid as a statue. In essence, this would be an Ice Clone, but it was obviously different as it would remain motionless... lifeless. Onlookers can reference a Sub-Zero ice clone in Mortal Kombat. Obviously, it wouldn't seem to serve a purpose as the Nara dashed with the balls immediately following him and paying no mind to the statue.

It would be around the time of his jump back into the air that he would feel the disconnections to the many Hiraishin markers he had placed during his time on the battlefield. Knowing it must have been a Space-Time Cancellation Barrier, he mentally filed that bit of information away and focused on the balls of Dust Release. Always using his Mind's Eye as a measuring tool, he took note that he was 38 meters from his ice statue and nearly 100 meters from the Edo Zombies and a vast amount from those airborne above the clouds. As the projectiles caught up, his body would be torn asunder by the homing technique, the remnants of his body glittering in some nonexistent light for dramatic effect.

Obviously, he used the ice statue to take his place in the classic Body Replacement Technique. As he returned in place of his ice technique, he would remain in that space for a moment, allowing him to gauge the battlefield once again, this time paying just a bit more attention to those subtle details. Ever aware of the acidic rain, he would draw on the Natural Energy around him as well as his own Senjutsu Chakra to power his next technique. Remaining still, he would immediately drop the temperature around him to a devastating -165°C in an ever expanding barrier-like bubble of immensely powerful natural influence.

He would stretch this bubble in every single direction, the first 50 meters happening in a half of a single second, with 80 meters stacking for every second he was allowed to continue expanding the bubble. The Nara would focus the 4x multiplier on the speed of this expansion, since he was fully capable of producing this temperature, and much colder temperatures, without his Corrupted Sage Mode.

What this would do, is completely freeze every foreign substance that wasn't like that of the Nara's DNA makeup. This would effectively turn the rain into semi-harmless hail, though he didn't advise anybody to try to look up without wearing some sort of steel sunglasses or something, because hail could still hurt the eyes. Since the rain was still liquid

In terms of the Edo Zombies, because they were made of ash, they would be able to ultimately prevent themselves from turning into ice statues as they didn't have that ever important water in their bodies. But, that was only if they remained still for more than thirty seconds, which wouldn't be likely.

With Tau being subjected to the forced immobilization, he would have no choice but to be subjected to freezing completely.  Those ash particles would be unable to return to their host as they froze in midair, crystallizing and dropping to the ground and shattering, only to freeze once more. This could very well take him out of the fight entirely, if his body was to fall and shatter as well… at least until he gets properly sealed up.

For the Hokage's Slugs. Well, because of the nature of their usage (having to remain still to gather natural energy for their summoner) and not to mention the fact that their bodies were made of mostly water, they would be subjected to the dramatic drop in temperature, practically immediately. This would cause them to freeze and possibly even shatter with the new source of strong winds and black flames that would be created once again.

In regards to said black flames of Amaterasu... well, they'd still be there, burning darkly and being just about the only source of life on the battlefield and Kamui would do best to remain between them to not suffer from this immensely low temperature. The decayed bones of the massive creatures that previously roamed the land wouldn't even have the chance to become brittle as they froze immediately. If the bubble was allowed to reach the clouds, they would immediately freeze and their new solid forms would cause them to begin their descent towards the ground as gravity took hold of them. (These clouds would only begin their fall and wouldn’t fully reach the ground until the Nara’s next turn, so they aren’t an immediate problem)

And if it was allowed to touch one of those human meat bags, their core temperatures could severely drop and their blood would begin to freeze and they could immediately suffer from a condition vastly worse than acute hypothermia and if they were to remain still for five seconds, they would end up freezing completely.

The Nara would remain still, his Mind's Eye remaining focused on the battlefield as the hail would impact with the elements around him and vanish entirely. The very ground would become frozen and if the winds were to ever pick up, a full on blizzard would be a possibility. This wasn't much of a technique, more like a pulse of energy, containing the pure essence of ice and much like the acid rain, it would pretty much aim to affect everybody. Since the majority of the pulsing bubble was composed of pure Natural Energy, those currently not in Sage Mode, would have a hard time sensing the rapid approach of the climate change. Though, because of his own Senjutsu, this wouldn’t matter much those Sages would be able to see the wave if they were paying attention.

He wasn't sure what would happen to the bones underneath the battlefield, but the bone marrow tissue would surely freeze and their progress might surely come to a halt, especially if Tau was completely frozen as intended. Perhaps, he should label himself as Jay Yuki with such display of the Ice Element, but, he'd remain still to continue expanding this barrier. Perhaps he'd get to a sweet kilometer in ten seconds or so. Perhaps, they'd attempt to stop him before he could try to hit for two kilometers. He wanted to at least have a Mind's Eye area of effect with this bubble, but it was unlikely that they'd let him stretch it to eight kilometers.

However far it reached, claiming ten seconds passed so far at this point, if he was forced to move, the bubble would be forced to rest wherever it might be. With the frozen clouds falling, he was going to have to move anyway, so he might have to give it an extra burst in his next turn before he would stop and move. It was amazing what one little action could do to an entire battlefield.

Kamui was quite certain that he had addressed the chakra-dissolving rain in his last post by making use of his Izanagi. Judging from Taumaster's previous actions, the black flames of Amaterasu hit him first then came the wind and vice-versa. This would mean that Taumaster's actions came first, before the effect of this rain started to take a toll on his motion-detecting barrier and by then he had already responded to the damage that he would've received by making use of his Izanagi; this would mean that the barrier was never harmed since he previously stated that he was well out of it's range.

During his attempt to relocate further away from Taumaster, his slugs kept drawing in natural energy from the area around him and in turn the man would convert the natural energy that he received into senjutsu chakras. Let's keep in mind that even though that Kamui was on the move, he was clearly beginning to show signs of his transformation into Slug Sage Mode. There was visible dark maroon markings around his eyes that ran all the way to his ears and he had an additional marking on his forehead that clearly resembled a target symbol. All was going well in his stride away from the area until he had detected that Taumaster was being active within the vicinity of his detection barrier, which caused a mental alarm to go off in his head when he felt surge of senjutsu chakras coming from that specific location. Kamui thoroughly and mentally deducted that Taumaster was going to re-attempt his previous actions, which was thanks to his memorization of the same chakra patterns that Taumaster used in his earlier actions.

There was several ways out of this, but the most logical and best approach for him at this time was to go for broke. It was true that the detection barrier was limited in defensive capabilities, but it was all that he needed as long as it could sense chakras and any type of motion within the vicinity of seventy-five meters; this would allow him accomplish his next set of actions to come.

The tomoes within his last remaining eye rapidly spun upon being hit by the  black flames and from a bystander's perspective, it would look like the combination of the wind-enhanced black flames and decrease in temperature around the environment had caused him to simultaneously burn and freeze himself in place all at once; his slugs were also subjected to the same treatment that seem to fell upon him. However, his visage faded away into obscurity and he would suddenly re-appeared on the outside vicinity of Taumaster's attack. What happened was that Kamui had repeated his same actions from earlier and once again removed the boundaries between reality and illusion within his own personal space. This course of action came at a cost, his last remaining eye was sacrificed to turn something that would've occur to him into nothing more than mere illusion.

Kamui would keep both of his eyes closed at this point and kept on running as if nothing ever happened; the barrier would follow wherever that he went.  Now these freezing temperatures would surprisingly have no effect on his slugs at all and they would continue the process of drawing in natural energy and converting it. The pair of slugs would appear frozen solid like fused statues on his shoulders to the untrained eye, but anyone that had experience in Sage Arts could see that they were in fact still alive and well.

Snails and slugs, like many cold blooded animals in temperate climates, have the uncanny ability to survive sub freezing temperatures when hibernating. Some of them even have antifreeze-like chemicals in their blood that keeps them from freezing totally solid and keeps the ice crystals from rupturing their cells apart. What they were doing right now was no different from hibernation, except the host was benefiting from it all by extending the duration of how long he could stay in his transformation.

The augmentation from his Slug Sage Mode and the combination of his undead state allowed him to face the freezing temperatures with little to no effect on his person, since he was devoid of any type of water within his body. While he was on the move, ice crystals would form around his hair, eyebrows, lips, eyes and clothing; only for it to chip away and fall off his person with each step he took.

'As long as I keep moving, I can prevent myself from freezing solid like he did.' Kamui was aware of the inactivity coming from where Taumaster was at and assumed that he fell victim to both a combination of the damage from Athos's earlier attack and effects of the extreme climate that was created by Jay. At this point in time, he was about one-hundred twenty-five meters away from Jay and about sixty-three meters away from where Taumaster was idly standing by due to the regeneration rate of Edo Tensei. Athos never really clarified his distance from the ground to his position above the cloud cover, so Kamui will assume that he is outside the range of his sensory barrier like Jay and Dart were right now; the range of the detection barrier was multiplied by three when he went into Sage Mode and this meant that the range was extended from seventy-five meters to two-hundred and twenty five meters.

Logically at this point it would be best to take out the weakest link in this match and at this point it was clearly Taumaster. Kamui would attempt to do something come next turn, but for now he kept himself mobile on the battle field and kept his wits about him. For a blind man as he was right now, the lack of sense would only heighten the other remaining four senses and in tandem with his senjutsu abilities would make him an unstoppable force to be reckon with should he decide to augment himself even further than the three-times multiplier that he had received.

Okay then, with the addition that the slugs poof out of existence due to being frozen to death next turn unless something happens, Kamui's post stands. When confirmed by Shadow and Kamui all OOC discussion posts but this post will be deleted.

Seeing Jay’s freezing zone sweep over the battlefield Tau realized he would need to move. Through his own understanding of human anatomy he’d know he was in much less danger from the cold than a living human but judging from how everything was freezing over he was quite likely to be frozen in place if he stayed where he was.

Thusly, his mouth would be spread wide open by a pair of hands reaching out from within it before Tau burst out of his damaged form, fully healed with a new cloak, and with his legs fused together to form a serpentine tail for high speed slithery movement. He’d dash toward Kamui, moving in a serpentine pattern, and near-immediately closing the distance between them. Kamui might be able to “see” just fine with his Sage chakra sensing but with the lack of his Sharingan he’d lose the predictive ability they gave. If Tau were to engage him in Taijutsu it would go about as well as a Sharingan user versus, well, a blind man.

Knowing he needed to keep his snakes warmed to maintain his intake of natural energy and as a direct result, the continued use of his Sage Mode, Tau would spawn his Susano’o ribcage around himself which glowed a deep purple color. Since it was anchored to him it would of course follow around Tau as he moved. Immediately after it was spawned the rib cage would be wreathed with the black flames of Amaterasu, coiling around the ribcage like a snake.

The proximity to the black flames would keep both Tau himself and his reptile friends safe from the oppressive cold.

Not even a full second after the initial sweep of the balls that would have sheared his Mahō-tō, wrecked the mini-capsules that held his mini-scrolls secured tightly to his thigh, given him a quick trim of the hair, and losing his left arm and his shortsword to their predictive yet somehow still unavoidable flight, the Terumī/Uchiha hybrid would utilize the 2 Eyed Kamui to warp himself away into his dimension in order to heal up for the rest of the fight. Luckily, this would allow him to dodge the second manipulation and the barrier (that he did NOT know about). It would take precisely a half-second to get his body to safety, the same window that he had originally given Athos prior.

(Considering that 2 Eyed Kamui is faster than the Truth-Seeking Balls, it would stand to reason that it would most definitely be faster than both the balls and the barrier.

Truth-Seeking Balls
-All 5 natures
-Yin-Yang released
-Six Paths senjutsu
-Jūbi chakra

Athos Balls and Barriers
-Fire, Wind, and Earth only (balls)
-Regular senjutsu
-Only 6 Tails chakra)

Upon arriving in his Kamui realm, he would immediately release the chakra inside the diamond on his forehead, causing the diamond to take on an initial appearance of block X but that wouldn't last for even a second as the markings would quickly spread across his entire body. His lost arm would stop bleeding instantly and actually begin to regrow from the hole that was created by the ball. All components that were missing would be created anew, all the way down to the skeleton level. Unfortunately since it was such a large wound, it would take a couple of rounds before he would be fully healed. For now, he couldn't do much but float in his Kamui dimension while he waited to heal. He would be floating next to but outside the dome that he had mentioned earlier. (But because I don't have a wikia page on his realm yet, I will not use anything within here for fairness sake.)

Meanwhile, back in the real dimension, his arm would release its hold on the shortsword and it would plummet to the ground below, point first. There's no hoping that by chance it would impale somebody but it should be mentioned that it was still in play here for further usage. It is marked with a summoning seal so Dart could reverse summon at some point, too. His acid rain clouds would have ceased to exist if they hadn't been frozen over by Jay's ice pulse. As such, all of the droplets that had gotten frozen would indeed form into hail and fall. The clouds, no longer his now, would condense together due to freezing and drop like a massive brick. If the combatants below them didn't move, they'd surely be crushed! His arm would also had been completely frozen over and when it impacts anything hard, it would shatter into nothingness.

As Eric stated in his previous decision, “Dato has 1 second to deal with the incoming attacks, “

Meaning Dart has one second before the follow up attack kills him. Let’s examine the time frame as stated in Dart’s post, there are two mentions of time that are relevant.

“Not even a full second after the initial sweep of the balls… the Terumī/Uchiha hybrid would utilize the 2 Eyed Kamui to warp himself away into his dimension in order to heal up for the rest of the fight.”

As well as,

“It would take precisely a half-second to get his body to safety, the same window that he had originally given Athos prior. “

As written these time frames are clearly two different things. The time to activate the jutsu and the time for the jutsu to be completed.

You may notice that one of those time frames is vaguer than the other. Weird, you’d think Dart would be painfully detailed with his life in the balance, but to each his own. Due to Dart’s lack of details it would not be inaccurate for Athos to claim that the initial activation of the Kamui took .75 seconds, as that still falls under the time frame of, “Under one second.” And that when combined with the time it took for the Kamui to warp him to safety it would leave us with a total time frame of 1.25 seconds. Otherwise known as too slow.

Now Dart’s going to whine about his attack being unavoidable, again, and claim he should be disqualified, again. So let’s just address that now. If Dart had actually been specific with the initial time frame being something shorter like .25 seconds he would have absolutely dodged the attack. The only reason the attack is killing Dart is because of his own lack of details not because the move is unavoidable.

His claims about the Kamui being faster than Truth Seeking Balls isn’t relevant since the Truth Seeking Balls Madara shot at Obito actually had some distance to cover before hitting him. Athos’ attack which, as we’ve mentioned again and again, are faster than a Sage Mode enhanced Raiton no Yoroi user, merely needs to pivot and turn to hit Dart again. Even if they’re only half as fast as TSB they have about ten times less distance to travel.

For the sake of consideration let’s say the Kamui still goes off and teleports Dart’s shredded remains into his pocket dimension since a self-cleaning corpse is probably the most consideration he’s going to get out of Dart. Since Dart did not activate any of his medical ninjutsu until after he got into his pocket dimension they would not help him survive Athos’ attack. The 25 shots would punch a dozen-odd holes in his chest including his heart, remove his remaining limbs, and completely destroy his head with several shots.

Athos would now form those chakra platforms under his feet to stop himself from falling, and, feeling the chill of Jay’s jutsu, would activate his Flame King’s Raiment Technique. A child technique of Incineration Technique, this jutsu would allow Athos to raise the temperature of his own body and the surrounding area, if he chose to take it that far. For now he would merely raise his own personal temperature back up to normal levels, as its power combined with Saiken and Sage Mode allowed it to match the cold of Jay’s jutsu easily.

He was of course above all the frozen clouds and rain and would just let the people below figure that one out on their own. For now he would watch with his Mind’s Eye, Sage Chakra Sensing, Way of the Fist, and all those other abilities to see how the situation turned out.

I don't always make sense, but that's kind of the point.
