Still deep in the feels of the Adventure Time - Islands – Miniseries, but still continuing from his last post, the man looked towards the balls of Dust Release as they adjusted their trajectories and honed back onto his chakra signature. The time he spent dodging these projectiles was enough time to study them and he was confident that they wouldn't be as difficult as he may have believed. As if there was a switch going off in his mind, the flames/lightning combo around him began to grow frigid, stiffening significantly. This frigid nature only lasted a second as the balls rushed towards him.
He would burst to his left, away from the other combatants, his Mind's Eye giving him a recollection of everything that was happening on the battlefield. In his place, a construct of ice would appear, solid as a statue. In essence, this would be an Ice Clone, but it was obviously different as it would remain motionless... lifeless. Onlookers can reference a Sub-Zero ice clone in Mortal Kombat. Obviously, it wouldn't seem to serve a purpose as the Nara dashed with the balls immediately following him and paying no mind to the statue.
It would be around the time of his jump back into the air that he would feel the disconnections to the many Hiraishin markers he had placed during his time on the battlefield. Knowing it must have been a Space-Time Cancellation Barrier, he mentally filed that bit of information away and focused on the balls of Dust Release. Always using his Mind's Eye as a measuring tool, he took note that he was 38 meters from his ice statue and nearly 100 meters from the Edo Zombies and a vast amount from those airborne above the clouds. As the projectiles caught up, his body would be torn asunder by the homing technique, the remnants of his body glittering in some nonexistent light for dramatic effect.
Obviously, he used the ice statue to take his place in the classic Body Replacement Technique. As he returned in place of his ice technique, he would remain in that space for a moment, allowing him to gauge the battlefield once again, this time paying just a bit more attention to those subtle details. Ever aware of the acidic rain, he would draw on the Natural Energy around him as well as his own Senjutsu Chakra to power his next technique. Remaining still, he would immediately drop the temperature around him to a devastating -165°C in an ever expanding barrier-like bubble of immensely powerful natural influence.
He would stretch this bubble in every single direction, the first 50 meters happening in a half of a single second, with 80 meters stacking for every second he was allowed to continue expanding the bubble. The Nara would focus the 4x multiplier on the speed of this expansion, since he was fully capable of producing this temperature, and much colder temperatures, without his Corrupted Sage Mode.
What this would do, is completely freeze every foreign substance that wasn't like that of the Nara's DNA makeup. This would effectively turn the rain into semi-harmless hail, though he didn't advise anybody to try to look up without wearing some sort of steel sunglasses or something, because hail could still hurt the eyes. Since the rain was still liquid
In terms of the Edo Zombies, because they were made of ash, they would be able to ultimately prevent themselves from turning into ice statues as they didn't have that ever important water in their bodies. But, that was only if they remained still for more than thirty seconds, which wouldn't be likely.
With Tau being subjected to the forced immobilization, he would have no choice but to be subjected to freezing completely. Those ash particles would be unable to return to their host as they froze in midair, crystallizing and dropping to the ground and shattering, only to freeze once more. This could very well take him out of the fight entirely, if his body was to fall and shatter as well… at least until he gets properly sealed up.
For the Hokage's Slugs. Well, because of the nature of their usage (having to remain still to gather natural energy for their summoner) and not to mention the fact that their bodies were made of mostly water, they would be subjected to the dramatic drop in temperature, practically immediately. This would cause them to freeze and possibly even shatter with the new source of strong winds and black flames that would be created once again.
In regards to said black flames of Amaterasu... well, they'd still be there, burning darkly and being just about the only source of life on the battlefield and Kamui would do best to remain between them to not suffer from this immensely low temperature. The decayed bones of the massive creatures that previously roamed the land wouldn't even have the chance to become brittle as they froze immediately. If the bubble was allowed to reach the clouds, they would immediately freeze and their new solid forms would cause them to begin their descent towards the ground as gravity took hold of them. (These clouds would only begin their fall and wouldn’t fully reach the ground until the Nara’s next turn, so they aren’t an immediate problem)
And if it was allowed to touch one of those human meat bags, their core temperatures could severely drop and their blood would begin to freeze and they could immediately suffer from a condition vastly worse than acute hypothermia and if they were to remain still for five seconds, they would end up freezing completely.
The Nara would remain still, his Mind's Eye remaining focused on the battlefield as the hail would impact with the elements around him and vanish entirely. The very ground would become frozen and if the winds were to ever pick up, a full on blizzard would be a possibility. This wasn't much of a technique, more like a pulse of energy, containing the pure essence of ice and much like the acid rain, it would pretty much aim to affect everybody. Since the majority of the pulsing bubble was composed of pure Natural Energy, those currently not in Sage Mode, would have a hard time sensing the rapid approach of the climate change. Though, because of his own Senjutsu, this wouldn’t matter much those Sages would be able to see the wave if they were paying attention.
He wasn't sure what would happen to the bones underneath the battlefield, but the bone marrow tissue would surely freeze and their progress might surely come to a halt, especially if Tau was completely frozen as intended. Perhaps, he should label himself as Jay Yuki with such display of the Ice Element, but, he'd remain still to continue expanding this barrier. Perhaps he'd get to a sweet kilometer in ten seconds or so. Perhaps, they'd attempt to stop him before he could try to hit for two kilometers. He wanted to at least have a Mind's Eye area of effect with this bubble, but it was unlikely that they'd let him stretch it to eight kilometers.
However far it reached, claiming ten seconds passed so far at this point, if he was forced to move, the bubble would be forced to rest wherever it might be. With the frozen clouds falling, he was going to have to move anyway, so he might have to give it an extra burst in his next turn before he would stop and move. It was amazing what one little action could do to an entire battlefield.
