A surprise it was, when it was shown that nobody was itching to stop the expansion of the pulse of ice and he'd smirk as he would continue it onward. His Mind's Eye was keeping a close eye on everything, as usual, and in those ten previous seconds, from his last post, he would see just why he wasn't trying to be stopped.
Kamui, the Edo Hokage, would find his slugs poof-poof-poofing out of existence as they froze to death, as intended. This meant, no Sage Mode. No Sage Mode meant, no expansion of his detection barrier. Without that precious expansion, the Nara would remain outside of it's seventy-five meter radius, as the Hokage continued to run around to keep himself from subjecting to the cold.
Tau, the Edo Otokage... not to be confused by Kamui, considering they both held the title at one point... Well, Tau had the right idea in regurgitating his own body. Because of this, the reptilian mucus from shedding one's skin, would be just the liquid needed to speed up the freezing process in a fashion similar to the slugs before. But, there was a problem. Between which instance would the actual event occur. With the issue of Time being a major factor in this round of posts, just how would we calculate this? Well, that's a discussion of math and we nearly need to plug in the numbers.
Kamui, had stated that he was fifty meters away in the beginning, before he was being bombarded by black flames. Tau, on the other hand, would be thirty meters away before issuing the bombardments, seemingly remaining in the same spot the whole time… let’s check to make sure… Yes, he would be correct to believe the Otokage would remain motionless for pretty much the entire fight… which was pretty badass now that he thought about it. But, back to the actual numbers, since the man had stated to being 50 meters from the convergence, with it having only been Jay at the time he said that, that meant that they were 50 meters away, adding perhaps 30 meters for Tau and at that Hiraishin Marker, Tau would be 80 meters away.
Alright, with Ice Pulse hitting 130 meters in 1.5 seconds, Tau would have had to do the technique in even less time to even be mobile. Looking at the manga for the technique in action, then the anime for a time frame, a completion of the technique would be around 6 seconds. But, considering it was video, and clearly slowed down, since the snakes (Obviously unrelated to the technique) had previously dissolved, or turned to ash, nearly immediately upon contact, so I’d say it was more along the case of 2 seconds. This more or less, still caused Tau some problems, which he made easier with his post. From Tau’s own word of “burst”, which obviously meant suddenly with speed, I can cut that 2 to a 1. And from his previous words of “Though if they thought he was helpless he’d be sure to show them just how wrong they were.”, it can be understood that he was working immediately from his previous post and had simply ran out of actions for that previous post… understandable.
But, that wouldn’t bring him out of the woodwork, because in that 1 second, the Ice Pulse would cover 86.6 meters and thus already be on top of Taumaster, even proving to be 6 meters behind him at this point. Surely, the wave, would have caught the Edo with his mouth wide open and slipped up in there for a deep rush of frost. Being in Edo, this wouldn’t matter all that much, but with the fluid-like nature of the technique in use, it’d quite surely be enough to produce a flash freeze sensation, right? If he’s right, Tau would most definitely burst from the mouth, but with the top half of his new body frozen and once he hit that floor, it’d shatter from the impact. If he’s wrong, well, then the Otokage would be free to go about with the rest of his post. That was really up to Eric to decide… should give him a color too… let’s go with green.
The same could even be said for Kamui and the trails of mucus his slugs left on his body as they crawled…. slithered… slug word for climbed, their way up to his shoulders. But, considering he hadn’t thought about it then, to claim that now would be metagaming… or retroposting… or just being an asshole. So, Kamui survived the cold this time, but he can claim that through the direct contact he had shared with his slugs, his shoulders would frost over considerably and he could possibly lose his arms if he didn’t treat that immediately.
Wow, that was a lot of stuff for a second and a half of recollection. More towards the end of those ten seconds, he would see why Athos didn’t try to stop his ice, even as the frozen clouds began their descent and began to move fast. Having wished so, but didn’t truly believe it would work, the man proved capable of shrugging off the cold. Surely, it must have something to do with his own training with Ice Release that he never used these days. With the Saiken Chakra shrouding around his frame, it would barely keeping him conscious enough to activate the Flame King’s Raiment to keep himself from freezing completely. With his temperatures, ”Back to normal”, it was surely a perfect balance between fire and ice. However much temperature was used, didn’t matter since even a little bit would be multiplied by 7.5, but for how much longer? Well, with Saiken gathering the Natural Energy, the Nara would be able to see that the Natural Energy would surely continue pulling towards the Raikon as he moved.
Obviously, this pissed him off, but still, his Golden Hues, still hiding his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan beneath his Stealth Lenses, watched along with his Mind’s Eye and Theta State to come up with a way around this. But, this only really left Dart, who was clearly under too much firepower… apparently, as only sharp glimpses would be available with the usage of the Kamui pulling the man away to another dimension… just narrowly escaping the Space-Time Cancellation Barrier’s clutches. He couldn’t be too sure, with the fact that most of the assault would be hampered because of Mujin Meisai. He would, however, see the arm and sword that were lost, becoming visible. He would watch them freeze, as the wave covered them eventually in those following seconds.
Now, the Nara didn’t know about the seal that would be on the weapon, nor would he care about it, because the Space-Time Cancellation Barrier would prevent him from Reverse Summoning anyway, given the time that he would spend inside the dimension to heal. Of course, this only mattered if the weapon would still be usual once it managed to hit the ground, most likely after the frozen cloud. Which, finally, brings us to the present. Now the Nara can bring his mind away from the recollection of events and cause some new mayhem.
With already 1,211 words by this very word, the Nara would finally decide on what to do. Knowing that Dart would be forced to appear at least 1,500 meters away, and that’s if Athos chose to make it stop or reach its maximum range, wherever that may be. At least, knowing this, the Nara would simply continue to stretch his pulse to follow. In 12 seconds he would have reached the 1,010 meters, and with its effect reaching Athos already, they obviously weren’t that high in the air, which meant, the frozen clouds would reach the ground faster. Being that everything fell at 9.8 meters a second… squared… he wasn’t a scientist. He didn’t know how much the thing weighed, so he wasn’t going to attempt to calculate its fall. He would just act accordingly and word his actions correctly.
With careful perception, the Nara would note the frozen clouds were casting quite the shadow that was growing darker and darker the closer it got to the ground. Obviously, he was on the ground, which meant the cloud had formed it’s shadow around him, which meant that his and it’s shadow was already connected. This only meant that he needed to use his Shadow Manipulation for whatever he was planning. This wasn’t technically OP, it was merely because of the size of the shadow that was being cast, more the capable for someone that had trained for quite some time in the Shadow Dimension and learned Sage Mode through them. Sadly, this whatever he was planning to do would cost an action and with the continuing of his Ice Pulse, he would only have one more thing to do. This would simply be the Shadow Sewing Technique.
Considering that Athos’s action limit hadn’t been claimed to be 100 with his deathballs and Dart hadn’t been counted for every single droplet of acid that left the clouds, it wouldn’t be too farfetched to claim that the Nara would be able to pull up exactly 24 (12 each), two-inched thick needles of very long tendrils of shadow, to lift up a single inch around Kamui’s and Tau’s respective positions (Much like the numbers 1-12 numbers on a clock), despite the distance between them.
The shadowy tendrils would be moving just as rapidly as previous his Ice Pulse, considering his wiki page said that his lone shadow could cover 55 meters in 2 seconds, so 27.5 meters a second. Also take in consideration that it hadn’t been voided, nor was it even the updated numbers, with the amount of training he’s been through since making that specific claim, but for the sake of fairness and because of his own laziness in not keeping his page up to date, those numbers will be what’s going to be used for this fight.
Judging on Eric’s decision on the matter, those tendrils will either be making their way up towards the ashen frame of Tau, inside of his Amaterasu enflamed Susanoo Ribcage, since they came from below… or they’ll be moving to pierce through the downed and possibly, already shattered, body of the frozen Edo Kage.
If it was the former, then the positions of the tendrils would match position of Kage. With the speed Tau would be traveling, the tendrils would be acting accordingly with whatever speed was being presented, using Mind’s Eye for the best possible outcome. With the seconds between the ice pulse and the appearance of the tendrils, being around 10-11 seconds, the Nara didn’t have a real doubt that Tau wouldn’t be able to catch up to Kamui between then… which meant that Tau may or may not be moving at this point. Anyway, ten of the tendrils would attempt to spear themselves in every vital organ this Edo would have had if he was alive, while the tendrils positioned at 5 and 7 o’clock would head towards the back of the head in the hopes of stabbing the eyes out, to prevent any sort of Izanagi usage like the other Edo. All of the tendrils would then drop towards the ground to stab into the frozen terrain and keep the Edo bound.
Of course, if it was the latter, the tendrils would just stab into whatever piece of Tau they can and break apart the frozen ashes even more so, obviously aiming for wherever the eyes were located first and foremost, using Mind’s Eye to calculate this endeavor.
Notably, at the very same exact time this attempt was being made against Tau, Kamui’s group of tendrils would move and attempt to puncture the Edo at his hips and coil themselves up inside of his frame like some sort of… internal drill, and if they were allowed (Highly likely, if it wasn’t dodged as this would cause at least a 4 four turn immobilization from the amount of damage), they would pop up from around the neck and spear the head from above and shoot down the very middle of that drill formation they would have made to puncture the ground and keep him bound. (Effectively making it a 5 turn immobilization and maybe even a permanent thing since they would remain there… for both Edo’s actually!!)
Of course, if this was counted as two separate actions by our judge, then the next action wouldn’t happen. If the Nara was correct to believe it was one action and merely a show of masterful Shadow Manipulation that would make his senpai proud, then the Nara would be free to proceed with the third action of this 2,100+ word post.
Actually, if this worked, there wouldn’t really be a need for a third action… well, the frozen cloud bearing down on them, would beg to differ. Well, seeing as how this was likely to happen in one second, from insertion happening in .1 second, considering the distance, to rest of the .9 second for the completion of the binding. This wasn’t an autohit, but considering the distance in which they would come to act, it would take some quick instant reflexes to not suffer from the full brunt of the technique. Considering Kamui didn’t have his Sharingan, there was not going to be any Ame-no-Uzume usage to distort the time around him. Tau would find the tendrils slipping through his bones to puncture his body, especially since this was a new body that was losing more chakra then the state could reproduce, same with Kamui, though less so, since he’s been on the defensive this whole time.
In any case, this third action, if action number 2 was successful, would be to use the shadow as a conduit for his Ice Release and he would flash freeze them both to make sure that they would stay bound and incapable of becoming free.
Of course, because he would be unable to just pull them into his Shadow Dimension, they would just shatter with the dropping of the ice cloud. Said ice cloud would hit the ground with a very loud thundering boom that shook the battlefield and shot various sizes of shards practically everywhere on the battlefield. The Nara, with the intense heat being produced by the cloak of lightning around him as well as his Corrupted Sage Mode cloak, not to mention his Strongest Shield, would be pretty much alright, considering the cloud fell with less force from one of his sensei’s punches. So with Ice melting around his head, he wouldn’t have to really worry about any possible headache. Though, now he was obviously hoping that this whole thing was able to fit on the forum since it was very nearly 2,500 words… Let’s make it exact with a few nonsense words. So did any of yall watch the Super Bowl, if so which team did you root for?#Patriots!!!!!!!!
