Battlefield: Wooded Meadow

The field was eerily quiet until a large spire of red coral seemed to grow out of the ground. Once the coral grew to about ten feet tall, the color quickly faded as it started to fall apart in chunks. This revealed Asuma, wearing his standard Jonin attire, holding a cigarette between the fingers of one hand and a lighter with the other. A quick flick of his thumb caused the flame which lit the cigarette which soon found its resting place between his lips. As he looked across the arena, he pulled his trench knives from his belt and to the ready as he waited for his opponent to arrive.

Walking across the plains steam rising off his body lightly as he walked. Walking towards his opponent as Kikaichu slowly floated out of his neck making very little to no noise as he stopped about 100 meters away from Asuma. "Hello Sensei, is it you I shall be fighting today?"

We can post commentary in the quote boxes when we make our posts. I was thinking that passive abilities, or ones that don't directly involve our opponents could get by without requiring a dice roll. Because of this, I left out a dice roll for one of my actions

Asuma just looked at Shino for a moment before exhaling, blowing out a small cloud of smoke. "Don't think of this as a game, Shino. This is live or die...Only one of us are coming out of this in the end." As he spoke, Shino would be able to see a blue energy surround Asuma's trench knives as he activated his Flying Swallow technique, doubling his blade's range while also increasing their lethality. He'd then take one long drag from his cigarettes before he charged forward, exhaling as he did so which left smoke trailing behind him in the air. Like a train, he barreled towards his opponent as he veered slightly to the right in an attempt to end this here and now by cutting him in half at the waist with the extended blade. (Roll = 16)
