Hm, I do backups twice daily, every 12h .... so then the server slows down for a few minutes. That's normal. Yet it shouldn't last that long.

Write down the times & the numbers of players online when this happens the next time, also ask people ingame you know if it's slow for them too.

it's going very slowly still (at 30-40 players!!))) 7:30 am eastern
I don't think it's a problem with my internet because all other sites are fast...

ok, if this happens again, do as I said... also post in the forum (which is seperate from the server here).
might also be a local relay host that had traffic problems.

Okay, if this happens the next time to you, please download this:
http://winmtr.sourceforge.net
and then make a traceroute to shinobilegends.com .... just enter the URL in the program and hit "start".
then, after 1000 such requests (take 1000 seconds, so about 15 minutes) post the results in here.
I need to know where at the internet connection it breaks.
