Apologies for the double post.

I had hoped that the vote thread would have lead to a formal resolution, but apparently not:

https://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,9528.0.html

Out of the current Council members, only 2 of us (Dart and I) posted a vote. Among those who have discussed something in this thread... Checking the list of the 3rd Cohort, I suppose that would only be us 2 yet again.

This is problematic, although I have kind of been on the fence about this topic. On one hand, letting the two of them fight it out is an ideal situation, but if both or one of them goes inactive during that time, then we're kind of back to square one. It buys time to figure out the Council situation, but I'm not sure there's enough interest to keep the biju shifting hands much less fill the Council.

True enough, and so off topic momentarily, we need to create the 4th Cohort then in order to resolve any inactivity that might occur should these two fight for Shukaku.

I believe they should just fight it out.

Rules/Foundation / Re: Blanket Suspension of Activity Clause?

After reading your prior argument against my initial idea, I am of the same mind that a reason needs to be stated, at least to the Council, for why someone will be going inactive.

I have found the Hazama account (ハザマ) on SL but as of today, 4/26/21, it's been 20 days inactive.

I wish someone would have grabbed the time stamp from when Kamui's account was alleged inactive. When I looked him up, he was only 2 days inactive.

The only active posts I could find for Kamui's activity was in the Main Zone in the Fighting Zones. There is indeed a gap between the 114d post and the 41d post. If Alexa is correct, that's from 1/2/21 to 3/16/21.

Hazama's challenge was created on 3/10/21 which Kamui accepting on 3/16/21.
Kamui was never given his fair chance in accepting the challenge before Hazama decided to try and strip him.

Given the extenuating circumstances of this pandemic and how the freezes were made to the Claimed List, I think the activity clause could be temporarily suspended as we don't know how our other players are handling everything and/or getting sick.

Nonetheless, Kamui did in fact accept the challenge for Shukaku and I believe, as part of the Council, that Kamui and Hazama should have their fight and Shukaku not be immediately granted.

Because as unfortunate as it may be, there was never a screen grab of Kamui's alleged period of activity for me to review.

Jinchūriki: Dart Terumī

Affiliation: Kirigakure

Preferred Method: OOC 1v1; exceptions apply

Preferred Zone: Wetlands

Preferred Judges: Warren, Kamui, Eric, Kage; exceptions apply

Preferred Outlet: SL Forum

Special rules

-The match is to be 1v1.

-Victory for the challenger is the defeat of the host through any means necessary, and vice versa. Death in the fight does NOT equate to death IC.

-Skills acquired during an OOC match are not carried over IC. Similarly, knowledge of participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.

-Prefers SL forum, as it is most useful for fights where long periods of time may pass between postings, serves as a record of the fight's progress for other challengers, and for that damned time-out option.

-Must post at least once a week. Though if a pattern of postings persists (I.E. If either player stretches their posting to the full week, each and every post without prior notification to the other), then the challenge will be voided. The cooldown will be initiated to challenger (if challenger is problem) and the host will be stripped (if host's activity is problem).

-Decided judge will remain judge throughout. No boots.

-Reposts are allowed, within reason. (I.E. If either participant has to repeatedly repost, the match will be concluded.) Reposts are only to fix the issue brought up by the judge. Modifying the entire post to save yourself or completely change up strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match. Edits are NOT allowed. An edited post is an automatic disqualifaction. A brand new "Reply" must be made so there is a full history of the entire fight for judge and other readers.

-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.

-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by challenger and discussed via PM, only.

-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other either in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If challenger, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current jinchūriki. If host, he loses the match and bijū given to the challenger.

-If host defeated, allow host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast. Then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.

-All measurement units to be used in U.S. Customary Units. (I.E. No meters, grams, etc. Use feet, pounds, Fahrenheit, etc.)

-All of the Wikia rules apply as well.

Any questions, PM me please.

(Mostly) Non-Negotiable Voids

*Swift Release
*Senjutsu-enhanced Dust Release techniques
*Liquefying Super Senjutsu Ototon
*Demon empowerment, vampirism, etc. Pretty much anything that doesn't make sense in the Naruto lore
*Izanami
*Kotoamatsukami
*If you have Kamui with other MS Jutsu. It's either Kamui or the other Mangekyō Sharingan techniques.
*Using Izanagi to circumvent the negative effects of the Gate of Death
*Claiming to use an "undodgable/unavoidable/unblockable" attack
*Just happening to have "a seal" that eliminates one or more of your weaknesses

**All of this is subject to any change at the host's discretion**

I shall be claiming Lucky Seven Chomei due to the fact that I cannot find any activity posts by Sabu as of 7/11/19 at 11:05am (CST)

According to our current rules, there HAS to be a PUBLIC post that the Host/Summoner posts about. As far as I’m aware, this means it has to be the individual in charge of the beast in order to allow IC paths to play out as need be. Not NPC posts created by the person.

Just wondering if the rule for mastery includes IC berserk events. Like say I've mastered Version 1 but in an out of control state, enter Version 2. Is that a no go? Or is it only if I claim to be in control of the Version 2 state as I would Version 1?

Going into berserk state is an automatic forfeit in a biju mach:

Quote
If a host goes over their mastery for any reason at any time during a biju match, it is considered an automatic forfeit by the host.

Outside of a battle for the beast (even an IC one), like for training or RPing an event that cannot be classified as a biju match of any kind, then while it still counts as going over mastery, it can be done without forfeit of the beast. But if it is done in a setting that could as a biju match, then it is a no go no matter what from what I have read of this rule.

I concur.

Council / Re: Inactive Hosts Protocol
« on: May 16, 2018, 02:15:36 AM »
I mean that is how the inactivity clause works. Goes to next in line with whomever voiced documented interest first. No challenges or battles. Straight up: first come, first serve.

If they can’t even participate in the challenge, then how can we expect them to fulfill the activity clause in actually possessing the beast?

Just making sure there was a topic made on this, a summer might see a in or out flux of activity for some hosts compared to say Christmas time.

Fair enough~

Council / Re: Six Tails Issue?
« on: March 24, 2018, 07:16:48 AM »

I'm rusty, hold on:

Quote
In the event that a host/summoner is stripped during a match, the beast goes to the current challenger.

In the event a host/summoner is stripped outside of a match, the beast goes to the first challenger on the host's challenge list.

In the event that a host/summoner is stripped, and no challenger exists, the bijuu council determines how to handle the reassignment of the beast in question.

Nekomaru, as the challenger, gets the beast, as he would fulfill either condition for which a challenger exists. He would then begin his grace period, unless by choice he wants to have a fight for it before the grace period is over.

This. ^

Name: Dart Terumī

Affiliation: Kirigakure

Personality: Honorable, Loyal, Chivalrous, Reserved, Calculating, Open-Minded, Confident, Stubborn, Cautious, Wary, Blunt, and Honest.

Does not believe in wanton destruction and does not like involving more people than is necessary in a conflict. Does not easily rattle with his emotions. Fights his opposition with same level of power that they exhibit. Finds it hard to trust everyone, unless trust has been first earned.

Despite the kill on sight order on Sabu in Kirigakure, Sabu was one of Dart's first friends. Dart believes that there is still good left in Sabu and has never forgotten that Dart owes his very life to Sabu. Even with that said, Dart cannot ever fully 100% trust Sabu and is wary of emotions and his outbursts. Plus, it never hurts to have a strong ally if and/or when Kiri turns on Dart.

Dart's loyalties lie in order:
1st: Ranketsu
2nd: Friends
3rd: Kirigakure

Special Abilities:

*Lava Release Master: Being a natural born Terumī puts him as having the most superior Lava Release abilities as it's a natural born trait in the bloodline as well as extensive training. His techs will supersede the other's.

*Boil Release Master: Being a natural born Terumī puts him as having superior Boil Release abilities as it's a natural born trait in the bloodline as well as extensive training. His techs will supersede the other's.

*Master Swordsmen: A current Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, his kenjutsu will supersede most of the others involved. Sabu may be able to match his ability without Sabu resorting to his Blade Release.
-Wields the Hiramekarei
-Possesses the Weaknessless Soaring Shortswords

*Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan Master: Awakening this Sharingan in both eyes and having his younger brother's implanted eyes and with excessive training has allowed him access to Kamui and Complete Body - Susanoo.

*Jellyfish Sage Mode Master: Has symbiotic companion at all times unless a chakra mode is used. Can employ Shadow Clones to gather nature energy. Perfect Sage Mode had been attained, using Blu makes it quicker to get into the mode.

*Sensor

O hai

It seems uncharacteristic for Sabu to request help, especially from someone like Dart. I once witnessed him attempt to take on Kiri by himself.

Well that's just hurtful.

What do you mean "especially someone like me"? T.T
