Here she is, the very first chapter is up! Notice that, although there is plenty of characterization, there are no definite 'who is who' yet, largely since Kyutu is the only one I have explicitly asked to use his character in the way I plan on using his character.
However, I want to go ahead and put this first chapter up here; I said I would, and I want to make sure the idea doesn't get too buried or bogged down, as this is only just the beginning.
Reviews on the actual site are nice, though comments here I suppose are good too. ^_^

Perhaps I should have forewarned a bit about Jack's preference on reviews. Unless they are signed by users, he likes the reviews to have some substitence to them.
Apparently, whoever put "zzz" has had the gift of having the message removed from the reviews board. :/
I could comment on the fact that 'great job' isn't very substitutive, but the choice on that isn't up to me.

Depends on what kinda manga releases we are talking about here? Naruto? Yay! Berserk? Crap...

I had been waiting on some permissions, but heck, it's a fanfic for goodness sake, so I'll just go ahead and submit it. I'm sure the persons in question will not mind too much.
Anways, the submitions per say are not necessarily regular; quite irregular in fact, as I have to make these chapters up as I go along, and here and there do some research to get a touch of realism in the fanifc.
Nevertheless, it is nice (sarcasm) to see the only major feedback I get is when you demand a new chapter. :P

I actually was meaning will be as excited to see these updates as we are to see a really good Manga update... meaning will Eric's work by good enough to keep pleasing us. I for one am pleased for now.
But if you are gonna think about it in that way I can see it becoming an example of something like hunterXhunter XD

Berserk is a manga that has been out for like 20 years and gets like biannual updates if we are lucky.

It has indeed been very slow in the coming. I was pretty worked out by the biju fight, and I had been slipping into writer's block along with my grades in one of my classes...
I'll tell you guys when the new chapter is up, but I'll try to get to it sometime this week.

Chapter 4 is up! It is considerably shorter than 3, but it introduces Raifudo, Nathan, Trev, and to an extent, Shadow.
Granted, I didn't chat with most of the chars involved, but I highly doubt that they will mind. 8) In case they do, we'll go from there.

This is an official call for/to keyboards and pens everywhere in the realm! I'm requesting some assistance in constructing the fanfic, as there are many characters in which I have relatively little information on.
Like, I'm not just talking advice, but as I hinted in another post somewhere on this forum (scavenger hunt time if you feel like it. :P) I wouldn't mind some other creative minds working on some of these chapters as well. Konoha I have a good grasp on, since I'm from there and know a good little bit about many of the chracters there.
But for Suna, Kumo, Kiri, Oto and Ame especially, I have about as much knowledge of those characters as my own character has had interactions. In other words, not much. So to make the chapters even better, I think it would be better if some of the natives write up the chapters themselves and we make this the collab that it originally was supposed to be.
What's your reward for pitching in? Well, there are tweleve mysterious characters introduced in the first chapter; you would have a hand in shaping who they turn out to be (Kyutu is an exception, he's already been revealed and such).
So, the call has been made. The cycle has made it back around to Konoha, so that chapter will probably be coming out as soon as the school work gets cleared for the week, but then it's looping back around to the other villages.
So, summary: I am requesting writiers for the following chapter arcs -
Sunagakure
Kirigakure
Kumogakure
Iwagakure
Amegakure
*any other village origin that decides to pitch in.
Message me either here on the forum or in-game (preferably here, though if you don't have a SL forum account then in-game works too).

P.S I should probably add that I won't have any greater than 5-6 total writers, including myself, working directly on the project till we see how that many turns out.
Additionally, if you come on board, while there is no demand to make a chapter a week or anything, bear in mind our mental schedule of what kind of time you would have on your hands.
After all, I want everyone to have a relatively equal amount of content/chapters, so if your chapter starts to get behind or whatever when the chapters start to interact with each other, then you'll need to make sure to arrange a way to get the content in there somewhere at sometime.
