Feature Requests / Re: New child board?

Woo-hoo for the personal shout out! But yeah that's a good idea,  and was thinking of that while I go through the village board. I wanted to do the phoenix rp here with Masane as well, but we're doing that in the PMs.

But yeah, that's a great idea and I totally give it a thumbs up.  :orcass: no thumbs up so enjoy the booty  :P

It seems entirely too late but this sounds cool. Also seeing as most of those that agreed aren't there at this point in time, I feel that no arguments will be made... unless you wanna be that guy :D

'Twelve hours?...' The time limit of the respawn rang in his mind, plans of visiting the dungeon in his down time already being put in motion. First he'd have to survive this tutorial, which it will be called for now. He would have to find that out the fun way. As he began following the man, he thought about these Guardians, each floor had one. If the respawn time extended with its death, then it must control them in some way. He tucked that topic in the back of his mind and like Wolf, began moving his bow in preparation. Removing it from around him, he held it firmly in his left hand.

He still hadn't answered his last question, but that would have to be a hands-on experience as well. He had to match sure to keep track on the arrows he shoots and the ones in his quiver.

I had (still technically have) a private summoning contract with my dragon companion/mount Rita for the longest before I actually signed the dragon summoning contract. Frankly, only the most rigid of summoners are going to go after you for using certain species unless you're really bad. The thing about private summoning contracts is that, for practical reasons, you only have access to just that custom mount, which for most of us we only use 1-3 creatures from the species anyways.

With Yumei and Rares somewhat off the map though, the remaining dragon contract signers could take up the responsibility of holding the contract. I never really thought about it personally speaking, since it felt like such a non-issue from my perspective.

I informed both of them I only wanted to use a single dragon I can, ICly, raise from a hatchling and develop a bond with. I wanted to do the same with the phoenix. I'm more than willing to go through various RP events to get these contracts signed.

The prospect of not leading the group filled him with a feeling he had not completely identified yet. His crimson eyes cast a customary glance towards the mouth of the dungeon ahead, a question popping in his mind as he looked back to the man. "What type of monsters are inside? Their skills? Their weaknesses? How deep does it go? Is there a respawn system in place, or is it just a one and done?" Just cause he was wet behind the ears concerning the guild, didn't mean he was when it came to fighting monsters.

His eyes narrowed in thought as he tried to stretch his senses into the dungeon, but found nothing as of yet. He'd never been inside of a dungeon, but he could barely contain his excitement, a wide grin splitting his face, a row of sharp teeth making themselves known to those who could see them. He had one last question, his grin leaving his face.
"How will we determine who gets what in the dungeon?" Were things split evenly or was the last hit to kill the one to get the reward? It was very important to know these things before he ventured inside with everyone else.

Played with the thought of allowing the hit to land once again, but decided against it when he spotted the perfect opening. At that precise moment he burst into movement, movement that made him look like a high powered drill as he pushed up with his hands(1), causing the dust he had created from the spinning to rise a bit with him.

If he connected with his brother's descending torso (7 feet above him) at his high speed, it'd be enough to stop his descent and it may even crack a bone. And since there was no chakra to use a substitute, a hit (direct or not) would be in store for his brother.

Tsuyo is coming back so you can talk to him about the pheonix. I think he wants the contract back from Tokujiro.

Awesome sauce :D

I would like to state my opinion on the matter. I believe the claims list is a bit of an issue because it limits newer people right from the get-go. I believe that the initial contract holder (person who originally made that entry) should be bolded so people know who to contact, but if someone else wishes to use that animal they would just have to message the player.
If the player does not respond within 1(2?) week(s), then they should be able to claim it as well. They also would not be allowed to remove anything that the owner created on that wiki page, but would be allowed to add to it as a subsection if they wished.
Example: I am the initial 'claim holder' to raptors because I made the page. If ACad Randnin wants to use them, he would message me. I would either say okay or, if I don't respond, it's taken as an automatic okay (and for the sake of the community, the answer should always be okay...Or at least an okay after some RP event. Don't flat out say no :/) He would then be able to amend the raptor page by adding his own subsection to describe his raptors if he wishes.
For claims made by players that no longer exist, they should still be bolded for the fact that they wrote it, but that should be a summon that's up for grabs. And the whole subspecies thing might make things confusing with all the entries that could be made. It would be easier to claim a whole family than saying you can summon antheraea brunei instead of antheraea broschi.

That's my opinion on the whole thing. Make it a bit simpler, no need for getting rid of anything as well as making it accessible for newer players if they wish. I know that SL has a wiki site of its own as far as gameplay goes, but maybe a page should be made that lists general guidelines for RP as well?

This is wonderfully stated and agree with this. This is true as I was informed I couldn't have a dragon or a Phoenix, even though I had RPd an acquisition of them with a few other characters. Granted that was during my causal gameplay days, but now that I've become a bit more invested in the game, I can see a need for the order of things. So I made an "appointment" of sorts to get my chance at the dragon contact, but Yumei/Rares has been off the map for quite a while, as has the Phoenix holder, who's name escapes me at the moment.

This is my own example on such an event and show that I've been after these two for a year and some change.

While he was initially confused by how the man would disappear in mid air, still kind of foggy about that at the moment, he let it slide as it wasn't difficult for him to follow the path taken. Regrettably he he twisted his body around and took the axe kick in the chest, his body crashing down to the dojo ground, kicking up a lot of dust, and causing a digital like fluctuation to ripple out from around him, that spread out a good 5 meters, dut to the force of the impact. The Nara was fine though as his enhanced durability showed that he could take a hit and he would also show that he could dish out some as well.

The raven haired Nara glided trough the forest, much like a bird as his feet barely touched the branches of the trees. He was glad to be out in the open air like this, his hair billowing behind him like the waves of the sea. He wore the basic Guild Armor, with his various weapons on display on his person, the amulet not as it was beneath his shirt for protection mostly. His crimson eyes caught of glimpse of the clearing the map had shown, it was just behind a cluster of trees ahead. A wide grin split his face as he jumped through the cluster, a small explosion of leaves would break around his body, signalling his entrance into the clearing. Unfortunately without another tree to land on, he came down to the floor of the clearing, about 10 yards away from where he spied the Guild Leader on the rock. He didn't know who he was, but his armor was awesome as hell and he seemed to be waiting for them. Knowing the expedition was assigned by the Guild Leader, he could only assume this was Athos. He walked a few yards closer to the man and gave him a bow, expecting his team to do the same. "Greetings Leader-sama, sorry to keep you waiting." Despite standing at 6 feet himself, he could already tell he was gonna be towered over by this mountain of a man.

(Is also gonna post without waiting for Ray's response.)

The Nara would give Wolf a deadpan expression, an enormous sweatdrop formed behind his head. Though it was a good joke, he couldn't really laugh, having just slipped into serious mode. But he made a mental note to appoint the man as their comedic relief for the duration of the mission. "That is good information to have, thank you Wolf. To give ourselves a better understanding of our abilities, I too use a bow and these daggers here. I also have an amulet that allows me cast illusions, so be careful." He told them as he cast a glance at each of them, making another mental note about thinking of a way to make them distinguishable to the party, while making the monsters none the wiser. That would have to be done on the fly. "Alright people, let's head on over to that dungeon and, I can't stress this enough, F*** S*** UP!" He let out a howl of excitement as he pumped a fist in the air and ran out the building, speeding his way to the dungeon, more than sure his team wasn't far behind.

He studied the map as well, the words of Wolf, rung in his ears as he took a little longer to look at the map. If his mission had taught him anything, it was that most things weren't what they appeared to be. "If nobody has any objections, I would be honored to take the lead." He spoke with a serious tone, quite to the contrary to his earlier speech. He straightened himself up and looked at the party. "In any case, we need to have this discussion on the way to the dungeon."

Would make his reentry into the HQ and meet the two individuals at the reception desk, giving them both a quick bow. "Sorry I'm late. My name's Jay, a pleasure to meet you both."
