So then, would it be possible (and by possible, I mean relatively easy and not very time consuming) to add a "Pound per Pound" Toughness rating (as described above)?  I need to reinstall an LotGD so I can test some of this - but if I remember correctly, Hall of Fame isn't in the base release, right?

I think of Tough as both able to attack AND defend, but if you think it more of "take a lot of dmg", then the Pound per Pound calculation could be changed accordingly:

(HP + Att + Def) / OK <-- includes attack
(HP + Def) / OK <-- just the ability to take dmg, not inflict

ETA: another thing to consider, while this thread has over 40 views - NO ONE else has commented, which seems to indicate that no one but me cares about this, sadly. Probably another reason NOT to go forth with it.  :P  :-?

Currently, it seems that "Toughness" is ranked solely on the amount of HP a player has.

But I don't think that equates to tough, as I have characters that can slay a player with 5x their HP because the player they attack has low attack/defense stats.

I think Toughness should be calculated - and this is the initial formula I have come up with:

(HP + Attack + Defense) / Orochimaru Kills

Obviously, this formula greatly favors sitters with low amount of DKs - which is why it is what I would consider a "pound for pound" rating.

Perhaps it (the Pound for Pound rank) could be added to the N:HoF and Toughness replaced by: HP + Attack + Defense

tl;dr

Toughness should be changed from HP to HP+Attack+Defense (at minimum) and Pound for Pound, which is calculated by this formula [ (HP + Attack + Defense) / Orochimaru Kills ] should be added or it should replace Toughness altogether.

Hmm, no one really trained me. I definitely need a trainer - especially in role playing.

Help me I am lost / Dwellings of a restored character
« on: February 02, 2013, 12:35:17 AM »
Wow, so it has been a LONG time since I've been here.

I recently restored my character, and I wanted to know if there is a way to get the dwellings back as well.

I seem to remember that (be it bug or intended) that dwellings attached to a character were unattached when the character was deleted - it seems this is still the case?

I have FiOS ( 35/35 ) but no real interest in Steam.

Verizon ain't got nothing on UC Berkeley's internet.

Literally one of the fastest networks in the nation (100 mb/s), and available to anyone with an Ethernet and log-in permission.

For sure - and I would love to have that - but 35/35 is the best I can do currently at the right price point.  I could get 150/35 for $200/mo - or I can get 35/35 for about $60/mo.  And I was "grandfathered" in as they no longer offer that plan.

This is old...

But still, super excited.

Loved the original series, and I'm trying to convince my friend to record the season for me so I can watch with her when I come back home after the first season.

Yeah, I know its old - but I searched and it hadn't been discussed here ( still hasn't really, despite three pages ).

And no, it is currently scheduled for a 26 episode run - since they are going into it with that, I doubt they would change halfway through.  I wonder if not they plan is to also do the Avatar after Korra, an Earth bender, and then finish the cycle with a Fire bender.

I would be concerned about them milking the franchise - but it could be done and done well.

Haven't played Skyrim yet, but have no issue with it being single player.

I have FiOS ( 35/35 ) but no real interest in Steam.

Ah well... so... is Itachi like a super Zombie no longer under Kabumaru's control?

Wasn't that answered here:

I don't know what all of the complaints are about - please explain them to me so I can better understand.

When there is character development, there are complaints that there isn't enough action.

Now there is action, there are complaints that Naruto is too powerful.

He used mini-rasenshuriken - which shows more control, not more power.

He used multiple rasengan at once - which also shows more control, not more power.

He has had hundreds of clones, all working together (in teams of two/three can't remember) to do multiple rasengans before - so using multiple does not demonstrate more power.  He just has the control that he lacked.  Something he learned the past "50 chapters" or "5 hours".

Growth.

While I have never played GH3, I don't mind Band Hero or GH5.  My preference is for the polish of Beatles Rock Band though.

CoD:BO just looks silly.  All games like that do to me (MoH, GoW, etc.).  I have played Halo:ODST and Halo 3 online.  ODST was okay (I thought the campaign was much better thought out) - Halo 3 online was silly - just a bunch of BKs pretending.

One of the few games that interests me on the PS3.

I have a Wii and an XBOX360.

Online, I play Beatles Rock Band, Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero - and that is about it.
