Two things I noticed and I'm not sure if intentional or not:

If you rename a mount and put them into your stable, the name you gave them takes over in the stable. On top of that, it seems like giving your mount a name (500 dp) applies to unique mounts. If I try to rename another mount, it goes back to 500 DP as opposed to 100.

Hey everyone
Quite honestly, preferences are cool and all but at the end of the day it's a huge effort to maintain between challenger and host. Just yesterday I was all up for a preferences list as a host should be able to determine the clause for what they're defending, ultimately it's theirs already and should be able to advocate what they want in a match to make it as exciting or as enjoyable for them as they can (fairly) make it. However, now that I think about it-- a standardized template can be considered with possible changes to it. Such as a preset of things they can void, but they also don't want mystery posts where people are vague about what happens so that it can happen in the future to whatever suits the need.

What if we do a point system? Like, extremely rough draft (making it as I write) but the host has 3 points to allocate in things they don't want.

Now, it's a given that things such as Swift Release, Izanami, etc. are frowned upon by many in an IC perspective, so a preset void list can just be thrown out there without costing points. Now, the host HAS to negotiate with certain things. Such as:

Challenger likes to use explosion release, dust release, rinnegan with paths, and a sage mode boost.

Well, the host doesn't like that one bit, but can use points to say he doesn't want rinnegan at all in the fight. I guess challengers may have points too? I dunno, think of it like using money to barter for an item you want. The buyer wants less, the seller wants more. End of the day, middle grounds is only met by a give and take that both agree on.

I'll expand on this more later tonight as I'm at work right now and can't invest that much time atm.

So, to expand on my idea referenced above, I'd like to incorporate something along the lines as "Void Points" (name in progress). Essentially, this is an allotted amount of points that a host and a challenger can use in order to negotiate with one-another what they would like to keep out of a fight and what they don't feel should be used. However, in order to prevent either party from having an over-abundance of questionable things, I also think we should have a preset ban list. The preset banlist is a pick and choose "free bans". Either host and challenger can choose if they want the other to use them or not FREE of point usage. Preset list has things consisting of (I.E.) Izanami, Swift Release, so on.

Here we go:

Host:

Questionable KG 1
Rational KG 1
OP ability 2
OP ability 3
OP ability 4

Challenger:
OP KG 1
OP KG 2
OP KG 3

Above I listed what both the host and challenger claim. Now, removing the preset voids, both host and challenger are left with:

Now the host has 3 points and the challenger has 3 points to spend to further settle what they want.

*********Points don't have to be used, but they are options. Number of points as well are not set in stone.

Host does not want challenger to use OP KG 2, Pretty cool ability 1, and OP ability 1 because of reasons pertaining to abuse growing up and it triggering them. All 3 points are now expended.

Challenger is a ballsy son of a gun with something to prove to the internet and decides to only void Questionable KG 1.

This leaves Host with:
OP ability 1
Rational KG 1
OP ability 4

And Challenger with:
Rational KG 1
Makes sense jutsu 1

Both got their give and takes and are now ready to brawl, having agreed to use what is left.

This has lots to change:
1) Set number of points
- Giant lists of claims can make this a bit difficult to gauge, but I also think we can use the preset to regulate this,
2) Which abilities/items/KG are preset voided
- How can we set these? Community? Vote? Acknowledged as typical bans?
3) Should these points have value? I.E. KG voids are 2 points, abilities are 1.
4) Should these points be able to determine more than what should be voided? Such as being able to use a point to say you want this fight to have a max number of posts?
- What if one says one number and another says another? Do we RNG it? Is it whoever wants to spend more points?
5) Should hosts and challengers be able to use points to unvoid some of their abilities?

Anyways, feedback pleases. I understand this may be confusing and may even be dumb, but hey I like new ideas. If you need elaborating on anything, please quote it and I will do my best to expand on it.

Where can these be found? Considering there have been a spawn of applications lately (even with no suggestion of looking [though there is initiative, which is a good quality]), we might as well post up templates.

I mean, I wanna be a wiki editor. I think it was Shadow that pointed out the trend that current mods gain power of, rather than a selected member of the community.

GM and Mod also sound appealing. Lots of things I've tried to set up without GM powers, but certain individuals would always complain about me not being a GM I (for some reason?) should have zero dominion over a certain portion of the realm.

This poll is made to vote, in the form of an election, 9 bodies to govern the rules of bijuu matches (or the prior council, or no council at all) and take on the position of "referees", should people desire their aid; in effect, these 9 have zero authority over the realm of shinobi legends and have no say in governing what is right and what is wrong to anyone's role-play outside of bijuu matches.

Each individual is given 9 votes to place on their choices. So this thread was made to organize and edit new Bijuu rules (challenges, etc.), to form a designated council of people to act as go-to for referees and such for the matches and, finally, to replace currently inactive jinchuuriki.

Getting down to business, these are our current rules:

ºHow to Challenge a Jinchūrikiº
In order to challenge a Jinchūriki & obtain a Bijū, one must extend an invitation to its host along with proper arrangements for it to take place; should the Jinchūriki refuse the set date/time: negotiate for a more appropriate time. Should the Jinchūriki ignore or refuse the invitation(s)-with no reason given- 3 times consecutively, you may report it to other Jinchūriki. Subject for such an event's invitation, for proof & reference of a challenge, must be titled: (Number of tails) - (Name of Jinchūriki); the body of the message may be as you please (though manners & politeness would of course make things much smoother).

ºShould the Bijū be Host-lessº
Should the Bijū be sealed within something not a Jinchūriki, whomsoever is in possession of the tailed beast (for a prolonged period of one week or more) is entitled to assume duties of fighting for possession of the Bijū. As such: Bijū are not to be set free to roam; they must be sealed and delivered to the village of their last Jinchūriki.

ºHow to declare a winnerº
The battle commences with the initial post & terminates once either combatant is unable to continue. Such a feat can result in several ways, including knock-outs (concussions, etc.), full paralysis, almost-fatal wounds & so forth. So long both parties declare it plausible & understand the longevity/risk of the claim, it's considered eligible for use. However, things can, of course, become debatable in attempt to reach such a goal & in doing so arguments are bound to commence. If need be, either party can have onlookers & such /dis/agree with the action until a verdict is reached. If desired, either party can have other hosts or officials of sorts represent them for a more "legitimized" (as some have called it) reasoning or "Back-up".

ºRulesº
Like any other zone fight, rules are established as support for completing the quarrel without need for troubles to arise. Those basic rules are also adopted into host-challenges. The rules are as follows [unless agreed upon both parties (with proof) to be something otherwise]:

‾No Auto-Hitting.
Auto-Hitting is recognized as being a direct action following through without consent of the opposing party.

‾No God-Modding.
God-Modding has been recognized as an incorrect claim of one or more super-powers incapable of one's possession or against what one's character establishes. Several other things have been regarded God-Modding such as dodging every attack, extreme maneuvers & such. If God-Modding should occur, the opposing party will object to it & things can be negotiated from there.

‾Hosts are allowed to use their tails.
There should be no arguments about a host using their Bijū's abilities. However, the claim of utilizing all of their tails, if it seems unfit for them, due to period of time with the Biju, can be negotiable [but must be maintained brief]. Furthermore, other rules can be negotiated between both parties. I.E. Rules such as the number of contestants versus the host [? v. the host (1)] can also be negotiated, etc.

ºGrace Periodº
After any challenge (& loss) from a challenger, a week must be given to the host before challenging them to a rematch (the one week grace period is in subject to a single challenger & as such does not signify a host can ignore challenges from all others during the time period). In cases such as obtaining a Bijū for oneself, a 2-week grace period is granted In order to "commune" with one's Bijū. If a host shows inactivity for long periods of time (two weeks or more) without prior notice, you can report their missing & conference of a suitable host will take place when possible.

ºTampering with the Bijūº
Tampering with the Bijū, meaning: destroying it, editing its affinity, parting its powers into multiple entities, etc. & anything that changes it from its known canon form is prohibited. Reason being the unpredictable results of its edit & inability to properly decide what lies correct or not.

Secondly, our 'council members' are still not, really, set in stone. They're assumed people such as myself, Zenaku, Kayenta, Rare, Nathan, etc. -- well known figures, to be truthful. Personally, I see no need for a council as the belief of one person is just as good as anyone's. People keep asking for one, though, so we need to address the following:

1. How many members.
2. Who are they.
3. What they have dominion over.

and I can't really think of anything else.


Thirdly, we're looking at replacing inactive Jinchuuriki.

Currently, we have:

8. Jinzo (Ōshō-Kiba)

I propose replacements because our current rules are in question at the moment. Purposely I also placed the open-response-ability by asking this on the forums.

Ranketsu and Darkshinobi are, currently, people's most cried out demands for change. Ranketsu because, we all know, is inactive; that is to say, she goes periods of time without logging in only to do so at certain points and post one-two lines of rp and then be done with it. She's already done talk of passing on the sanbi and kage-ship but is, as of late, reluctant to do so.

Dark shinobi is, as of now, 11 days inactive and has yet to, as far as I know, complete a single bijuu challenge. He claims to have difficulties getting on, etc. - that being the case or not, he obviously cannot suffice to be a jinchuuriki.

And, blah, blah, blah.
