The Arashi probably would have been done in by Shadow’s reversal, if he weren't so well versed in Genjutsu arts, as well as possessing the Sharingan. The very moment Nanashi’s chakra became disrupted, he too cast Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change, but with a twist. As this battle of Genjutsu was happening, Zapdos began gathering Natural energy and syphoning it into the Samurai’s chakra network, allowing him to enter Sage mode. With this additional enhancement, Nanashi reversed the Genjutsu back onto Shadow 3 times stronger than it was before. This happened as Shadow appeared before him in attempts to stab the bone into his eye. Pivoting rapidly Nanashi allowed the Kunai to pass by, producing a shallow gash upon his shoulder as it did, but the Decay bone was avoided entirely. This was likely due to Shadow being immobilized in the case of Nanashi’s Genjutsu reversal-reversal working as planned.

Wasting no time, Nanashi utilized his masterful application of Iaido to draw forth the Kusanagi at his hip with incredible speed and strength, attempting to decapitate the hopefully incapacitated Shadow with a smooth strike. Following the initial attack, Nanashi continued through with the initiation of a Kenjutsu technique of his design; Atomic Slash. In a flurry of blinding strikes, Nanashi attempted to turn Shadow into a pile of gore by reducing his body into cubes of meat. When performed, the user’s movements are reduced to a series of afterimages that outpaced the Sharingan’s predictive ability, even before Sage enhanced reflexes were added to the equation.

Nanashi's Actions:
Sage Mode
Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change
Atomic Slash

Summon's action:
Supply Natural chakra for sage mode

Nanashi watched Shadow with a keen eye, analyzing his gear and companion intently. Silently, Zapdos merged with the Samurai under cover of his robes in a similar fashion to Samehada, or The amphibian technique. Unbeknownst to Shadow, Nanashi underwent a number of alterations upon this transformation, all hidden by the gear he wore. His eyes sharpened like a hawk, while feathers grew on his forearms and his nails elongated. This would allow for zapdos to perform various support based techniques for Nanashi on short notice.

Reaching down, Nanashi lifted the edge of his cloak to reveal what was underneath. From this, a murder of crows burst forth with deadly intent to flock about the arena and Shadow. Should the Otokage see this action, he would be plunged into a powerful genjutsu orchestrated by a master of the art. Suddenly, his perception of time would shift dramatically, seeming as if 24 hours in the real world equated to 1 second in the manufactured world. Even with the sharingan Shadow needed to match and overwhelm Nanashi’s ability with genjutsu to break it, which could waste valuable seconds.

With his free hand, Nanashi pointed his finger at Shadow regardless of the Genjutsu’s outcome. Around the finger’s tip, a halo of vibrant energy appeared, before exploding forward in the shape of numerous bolts of fluid storm release numbering nearly 50. Each bolt moved to traverse the distance between them in a moment’s notice, homing in on Shadow’s location. Thanks to the techniques nature, each projectile could be accurately aimed with the pinpoint precision needed to hit a moving target and punch holes in steel release. With the additional movement prediction allowed by the Sharingan, Shadow would be hard pressed to effortlessly avoid this attack.

Finally, the Samurai released the edge of his cloak and formed the seal of confrontation. With this, he manipulated the sunlight above, causing it to shine extraordinarily bright in one particular location. Shadow’s eyes. With this distraction Nanashi hoped to reduce the Otokage’s ability to see through the illusion so hastily, and hinder his chances at accurately avoiding the incoming lasers.

Nanashi's Actions:
Demonic Illusion: Mirage Crow
Storm Release: Laser Circus
Weather Manipulation: Sunlight

Summon Actions:
Fuse with Nanashi

On the northern edge of the minimalist arena that was created for this bout, a surge of electrical energy radiated from the ground, as a man garbed in black rose up from the tiles. Manifesting his body from lighting, Nanashi stood gallant as he looked over the barren lands around him with crimson hues. “This should be interesting.” He mused, resting his hand upon the hilt of his Kusanagi.

Nanashi was garbed in his unique variant to the Manji gear, donning a cloak accented with crows feathers, and the eerie blank mask hid his features. Within his cloak, there was the soft jostling of fabric as his avian companion awoke from her slumber. “Ahh my dear,” he cooed, “Prepare yourself for battle.” Zapdos chirped anxiously, but without fear.

Not everyone can be the most creative writer out there. Just because they are drawing inspiration from other anime does not make the technique any more or less valid so long as they properly convert the technique into Naruto appropriate lore. You also have to understand that if someone is going to try and create something entirely custom, they are going to want it to be on par with the outrageous techniques used by their fellow role players. That in of itself is a difficult feat.

I used the name and likeness for Zapdos, but his standing in Naruto is not really legendary. He uses lighting, and can fuse with me like Samehada. That's really it.

Nothing I can add that hasn't already been said. Go ham friend.

damn. I was about to challenge all of the beasts with an army of Edo zombies too. Guess I'll wait for the plebs to get ahold of them then make my numerous challenges.

Nanashi for the 5 tails will be my singular challenge.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. We were in an IC death match where EVERYTHING was on the line. Sure we didn't make any official challenges, but if someone died and their body captured, they sure as shit would have lost every claim they have. Bocc attacked us with the intent to kill, so we should have every right to claim what we want when he dies in the match HE instigated. This was not friendly. This was not for fun. He was trying to end our characters, and by some master stroke we survived. We should get some kind of reward for this. You all can't just sweep us under the rug, it's fucking bullshit.  Talk about claims not being valid if you do everything OOC, well take a good long look at yourselves taking away the IC Spoils of our battle because "reasons".

This is actual injustice. I'm genuinely blown away by how stupid this entire thread is.

At the VERY LEAST. Kurama should spawn at our location from Boccs death allowing Madara and I a chance. This gives the council their little participation points and the opportunity Madara and I deserve for surviving the ridiculous powers thrown around by bocc in that fight. We earned that much. Fuck all the other beasts.

Watched in horror as the two Shinobi sprouted their Colossi, though it was not lost to him the difference in size between the two. Acting quickly, T’challa and his bunshin linked into a triangle formation, the clones shifting their eyes to the Mangekyou state. Simultaneously, all 3 activated the Shinatobi ocular technique. With this, T’challa was able to literally bend space around himself in a spherical area, as if wrapped in the fabric of space and time like a blanket. All of the damage caused by the shockwave warped outward leaving T’challa untouched, but the blade itself was unavoidable. Truly, it’s immeasurable size was a newfound counter to his technique; an idea he hadn’t even considered previously. Despite being safe from the physical damage, T’challa was teleported into Bocc’s Kamui dimension. Once inside, his Jikūkan Ninjutsu did not end, still warping away the effects of Bocc’s sealing techniques as he hovered in a space beyond it’s reach. Assuming of course he didn’t have some arbitrary SUPER seal that affected T’challa still. Perhaps Madara could have survived, but that was unknown at this time. He wasn’t sure if he noticed Madara’s Susanoo disappear or not. Once he found a way outside of this infernal space, he would be sure to find out.

Edits: Is sealed because reasons.

Sage mode is better than rinnegan if we're talking meta.

If you're good at utilizing what you have.

Thats what I thought myself. So should I ditch the Sage mode or just make my the transplant strictly EMS?

Well that depends on how you want to RP. Sage mode is pretty good for RP IMO. It gives you a lot of leeway with Summons and being one with nature. Rinnegan is just an eye. I have one character with Sage mode, and one with Rinnegan. Personally, I find Rinnegan has the most versatility in battle, while sage mode gives a substantial buff to all of your current techniques that puts you one step above the layman. You kinda have to ask yourself, "Do I want more techniques, or stronger versions of the ones I already have?"

Bakuton, Sharingan, and Rinnegan are KG. Sage mode and Hachiman are training anyone can have. The iburi clan smoke technique might be a hiden...but I'm not certain.

Bakuton makes you unique. Sage mode can make you unique if you apply it correctly. Sharingan/Rinnegan/Gates are part of the Meta, and are used by a vast majority of the zone fight centered players.

Though my concern is you having Rinnegan and Sage mode. I was under the impression you could have one or the other.

Because rinnegan needs more one hit kill moves.

That's a pretty niche one hit kill. Most people don't use that kind of transformation lol.

T'challa elected to ignore Kuro for the time being, for his focus was demanded by the onslaught to come. With his Ring of Power, T’challa created 5 black saucers large enough for each person to balance upon. Should Madara and Kuro choose to utilize it, they, alongside T’challa and his clones, would levitate into the air high enough to avoid taking damage from the Lava below, while T’challa’s saucers continued to rise.

Reacting quickly to the upsurgence of pillars and incoming explosion, the Kage Bunshin activated the Rinnegan before raising their hands in defiance. Utilizing their mastery over the Ice element and extensive chakra control, mixed with the Six Paths Power the two called forth a dual layered dome of ice to encompass the trio entirely. Despite the overwhelming heat produced by the Lava below, they were able to manifest the moisture necessary through the extra expenditure of chakra much like how suiton users are able to produce oceans of water without a nearby source to manipulate. This, coupled with the ice’s excessive resistance to heat based attacks and V1 level boost from Rikudo powers, allowed the ice dome to remain at full capacity. Though this was not the end of the Ice’s effect. One of the clones allowed a secondary effect to be added to his layer of the ice dome (Outermost layer). By adding the effect of the Preta path, the dome now had the ability to absorb any chakra based technique that came into contact with it, strengthening it’s walls dependant on the potency of the chakra absorbed.

This defense would hold strong against Desare’s Atom fist, due to several factors. First and foremost: the Ice dome in question, at base, had the ability to withstand numerous explosive tags and sustain only superficial damage. When enhanced by a V1 boost and layered two times over, there was no question that it could resist the concussive force produced by the explosion. Next was the lack of detail explaining the potential damage that could be done if the attack struck. Certainly the range of this explosion was impressive, but it would be a moot point if it equated to a handful of explosive tags. With no details readily available to fact check, T’challa was left to his imagination, and his imagination decided it wasn’t strong enough to destroy his defence, or even send his saucer off kilter.

The original T’challa, protected inside his doppelganger's technique, widened the eyes on his Rinnegan face. Within the realm of Limbo two Shadows were produced that shared T’challa’s likeness, each standing on the ice dome, but only for a split second. Using the subsequent smoke, steam and debris rocketed into the air from a 1km wide explosion and mass of lava as a smokescreen, the Shadows kicked off the dome with considerable force. Seeing as a single punch could send full sized tailed beasts careening, it would be no grand leap to assume they could apply that very strength to jump incredible distances. An ordinary Shinobi could leap upwards of 50 meters unenhanced, so covering approximately 85 or so was well within the realm of possibility.

Rocketing through the air, the Duo was masked from Bocc’s Rinnegan until it was almost too late, exploding out from the smokes edge just inches from the overextended Desare. Having expended 90% of his chakra he would likely be experiencing tremendous exhaustion despite his undead state. (See Minato feeling fatigued during the climax of the 4th war after teleporting numerous people.) Reaching out, the first Shadow moved to stab his first two fingers into Desare’s eyes and even further to tickle his brain. Considering he lacked the Rinnegan to see or sense the incoming attack, it was unlikely Desare had the ability to dodge such a strike effectively and without warning. The Second clone followed up by attempting to use Desare as a springboard and continue it’s ascent upward to engage Taiga. Once again using it’s tremendous strength to kick off of him should it be successful. The first Shadow in conjunction with the second’s springboard moved to launch the zombie into the Lava and lighting below like a speeding bullet while his body attempted to recover from the fatal blow.

Should the Second Shadow reach Taiga, who also lacked any observable ability to sense it’s presence, would attempt to do the same as the first, attacking his two eyes and brain. While not a contributing factor in the Shadow’s thought process, Taiga’s Strongest Shield could only stand so strong against the force of a Limbo clone attacking the softest portion of his body with intent to kill.
