The main idea is if a host is stripped should there be a probation for them to be able to run for council. Clearly the have shown they can not follow the rules put forth so how will they enforce them?
**************************
I would say that if a host is stripped of a tailed beast they can not run for seat on council until two full terms have passed. For example: if a term is set at 3 months than upon the next election date, from their time being stripped, they must wait 6 months before being eligible to run for a seat on the council.

No.
Reason being, if the people are "smart" enough, they will not vote them in.
We have elections for a reason. Let's trust the people now.
I appreciate and applaud this though. This does relate to term limits or the electoral college.
But, I think the people will make the right decisions- the collective that is. <--- I hope! But then again, it's all subjective.

No.
We are limited on possible council members.
And it may be good for them to see the issue from the other side too, as one having to enforce the rules.
So if they ever host again they would be more particular in their own actions as a host.

-No for probation in applying for a council position after being stripped. They might be a better council member than being a host, truthfully; and people will vote for the right people, anyway.
-
No.
They could potentially make better council members than hosts, and people should be smart enough to decide anyway.
-
No. In retrospect, they may have the potential to become a better council member then a host of a tailed beasts. It is up to people to decide *if* they want to vote these host on their council.
-
No. If the person is no good then, as everyone else said, they likely won't be elected.
-
No.
The reason for that is because agreeing to abide by the rules, and follow them, should be a prerequisite for being on the Council. You can get stripped for alot of things, recall, such as inactivity caused by an emergency or something genuinely out of your control. Getting stripped is bad enough, but banned for two cycles (especially if people go for 4-6 months) from participating on the Council? Even I think that's too harsh.

Basically, my answer.

Looks like I'm going to have the unpopular vote.
Yes, I feel like the previous host should be put on probation of sorts, if allowed to register at all.
If you were stripped, you probably weren't very good with Biju related situations to begin with.

Yeah I'm not sure why everyone took the, "They will have learned from their errors." Argument, when there have been GIANT threads on hosts being repeat offenders.. >> Anyone remember Isa?

No.
It's like a learning experience. Maybe they lost the bijuu because they aren't a good fighter, but they excel in other areas. It would all come down to the votes in the end.

No

please vote if you have not done so previously
-
No. I'm sure we can gauge well enough whether or not they'd make good council members.

I vote no.
