Okay so when I went through this topic for post votes, I got:

Yes: 3
No: 7
Cannot Combine: 1`

While the "no's" would still have it, I want to clear it with folks before adding it, because I know Kamui mentioned making a formal vote topic for it. Not sure if that would be better or just going ahead and having this thread be a messy vote thread.

I wasn't sure if Jay or Athos would bring it up for a vote, since I was the one that suggested that a vote thread be made. But for now, Eric I consider everything here to be a discussion topic. I rather not go the unorthodox route of making this both a discussion and a vote thread all in one go, since it isn't formal to do so.

I am perfectly fine with one KG or KT per puppet, because after all these puppets are not indestructible. I think a well-placed Rasengan would obliterate a human puppet, regardless of the abilities that it possesses.

Depending on the materiel used, sure.  ;)

The Human Puppet still has some material that is still considered to be human flesh, so let's say that you made some modifications to make that puppet have tougher skin. The joints of that puppet would be the main weakness and anything can be used to disassemble or weaken a Human Puppet.

For example: Tommi could use Paper Ninjutsu to easily clog up the joints of that puppet, thus rendering any mobility of the puppet unusable; allowing for an easy follow-up that can or may destroy the Human Puppet.

I saw in one of the Infinite Tsukiyomi filler episodes, that these puppets are powerful due to the abilities that they may possess, but they can easily be destroyed. (Third Tsuchikage puppet was incapacitated by Paper Ninjutsu and was in turn destroyed by a Rasengan.) RNY was also used by one of these puppets(Fourth Raikage), but I don't think the technique really made much of a difference and you wouldn't get the "lightning fast" reflexes that one would normally get.

Either way, I do like everything else that Trev proposed.

Rules/Foundation / Re: Tampering [Discussion]
« on: March 21, 2017, 12:01:35 AM »

Ultimately, I can see where you guys are coming from. My proposal would be very hard to enforce, and probably useless. Although the stipulations I proposed have happened before, so who knows. Which is why I hoped someone else might come up with another solution...

To fixing FFA matches or tampering of biju fights in general? My suggestion for both:

Tampering with the spirit of the process is very serious, but we don't want to turn FFA's and such into Clinton email server investigations and Russian hacking allegations. What I am proposing is not at all going to sound like me, but rest assured, it's my thoughts:

FFA's and tournament style biju fights should require a Honor system, similar to what universities have for tests and such. All participants agree to abide by a certain "honor code" that, currently, would consist of the following key points:

- As a participant, I agree to abide by the rules of the Game (game/forum rules) to the best of my ability.

- As a participant, I agree to remain courteous and polite towards my fellow participants, even if he or she is not reasonably courteous and polite towards me. I will attempt to the best of my ability to be a good sport in the event of an unfavorable outcome.

-As a participant, I agree to follow the rules of the Tournament and/or Free-for-All and will accept any punishments or boons that may result from being found to be in compliance or out of compliance with said rules.

-As a participant, I agree that if I or another participant at any point is found guilty of a Honor violation, then subject to appeal only to the Biju Council, I accept any punishments or boons that may result from the violation.

- As a participant I agree to acknowledge any Official (declared by judge, tournament conclusion results, dice rolls by valid party, bracket creations by valid party, etc.) outcomes.

- As a participant, I will report any unethical behavior that comes to my attention.

Punishments for violations of honor system should vary, but no greater than a stripping and/or ban from all things biju for 6 months and nothing less than disqualification from the competition.

As for tampering with biju fights in general, all complaints of cheating and/or unethical conduct must be publicly made to the Biju Council with evidence supporting the claim. Evidence includes:

* Screenshots of SL or SLF (shinobilegends forum PM conversations) that contain incriminating information implicating at least one of the accused of engaging or encouraging others to engage in the specific behavior that the accuser is accusing the accused of.

*Records of other conversations, text or graphical, outside of the context of SL or SLF that can be verified by at least one other person.

* Record of a full conversation (from greetings to end) of a confession statement made by the accused.

Global moderator or Game Master verification of private correspondence on SL and SLF may be requested, but any and all involved (accused and others who may have messages) must be notified via PM via both SL and SLF before the request is carried out.

Punishments again range between removal from all things biju for 6 months, loss of Council seat, etc.

Village Square / Re: Defining Strongest Shield
« on: March 15, 2017, 02:49:22 AM »
However if you look at the page for Third Raikage, RnY is listed under his repertoire of techniques. Hell Stab One-Finger Nukite is considered his "strongest spear", right? Well the parent technique listed under that is RnY, mind explaining how something is completely different than his "strongest shield"? So naturally the parent technique would enhanced his  incredible durability earned through selective breeding; like how his son has it.

Yet no one provided a citation for the technique itself, just listed information from the page of the Third Raikage. If the technique itself existed, wouldn't a page exist on the original wikipedia? From looking back at the discussions on the wikipedia, the page was deleted on account that it's a trait earned through the Third Raikage. Which in this case, like Trev said. You can't claim traits, when it's not a technique itself. I can literally go claim it without having to jump through hoops with Athos.

Jay made no sense whatsoever, because he said I would have to go learn it from Athos, but from further reviewing it, I found out that it is passed on selectively through his children. How the hell do I learn a trait, when it cannot be taught? These traits are usually passed on through selective breeding and unless I make a child that is related to the original user of that trait, I have no chance of gaining this trait on any of the characters that I own. (No offense, Jay. This is my opinion on this matter.)

Provide me a wikipedia page that is from the actual source and is named Strongest Shield, and I'll recuse myself from this thread. If nothing can be found, then some sort of guidelines must be made. Otherwise, you'll give those incentive to basically train themselves until their durability is on par with the description of the "strongest shield" and by then it can be claimed by anyone that went through the aforementioned process.

Strongest Shield = Raiton no Yoroi + Third Raikage's durability. (Hell Stab is a different matter all together, but the parent technique happens to be RnY.)

According to rules at the narutoprofile wikipedia, you can't claim elemental techniques yet we already have few techniques listed in there that happen to be elemental related; this technique included.

Unless someone can show me a citation from the original naruto wikipedia, where it states that the Strongest Shield isn't exactly as I just described it. I'll gladly rebuke my comments, but until then there really isn't any prerequisites to claim it as Eric stated, other than having RnY; which means anyone can legitimately claim it.

For the record, I haven't really cast my vote on this poll. I merely pointed out my perspective on this subject and really don't want to agree that it should be banned, when it is a key component in forum RP.

A vital component to forum RP? Thats a stretch unless you consider the biju fights as RP.

I can confidently say that items would not be as hotly fought over as biju.  Not even the Ninja Swords.

Not really a stretch, since a separate sub-board was made specifically for bijuu and bijuu fights. If these boards didn't exist, I would be inclined to agree with you. Ninja Swords are highly sought after, but the amount of time and hoops you have to jump to in order to get them is staggering. Bijuu are actually more regulated and easier to challenge for, rather than trying to obtain those SSM swords. I know this for a fact, since I was once a prominent member of the SSM until I got bored with how everything was being handled with the group and the bijuu ban that Kirigakure has put up is what made everything more boring.

Trev brings up a good point with involvement in bijuu matters, which is quite simple. If you like bijuus, by all means keep doing what you're doing with those bijuu-related RPs. If you hate them, there isn't much that can convince you and you could easily exclude yourself from these matters entirely. Simple as that.

I actually prefer the fanon's explanation as it attempts to provide some logic as to how the technique works.

http://narutofanon.wikia.com/wiki/Barrier_Shatter_Technique

It makes sense and isn't just instantaneous negation of all barriers at any range.

The description could use some grammar fixes and some slight tweaking, but I actually like the explanation of fanon version of the technique.

Ban bijuus and you would have people getting along better. Those who don't want them banned, have something to lose out of all of this. Quite a dilemma here, if anything the division will be between those that want to have on Shinobi Legends and those that want to stack more powers for their character.

101
If you're adamant about this technique, then I don't see the point in having barriers. Because if I am not allowed to defend myself against a barrier like Athos's Deadzone Creation then we might as well ban every Fuinjutsu that is anime-only, because it isn't canon; the same applies to custom fuinjutsus.

102
If I still give a crap about zoning, I'd be like "anime only lol void".

Well that would mean that 90% of Uzumaki techniques would be voided in the process, lol.

103
Oh, one more thing of note... what if someone has Senninka and a Biju? Considering it's not through an Amphibian Technique style of combination, would it not still be possible. Hell, what if the Jinc simply went the Shadow Clone route to gather Natural Energy. This rule or vote that's going on, should be more specific in the route of combining that's going down. Through the Amphibian Technique, there's the third party influence, but that's the only time that's happening.

Well you wouldn't need the bijuu to gather natural energy for you, when you have a passive ability that does it for you. If you tried to have the bijuu gather natural energy for you, while you have that ability active; both simultaneous actions will negatively effect you in the long run. In retrospect, you would have too much natural energy to balance and that would mean that you're well on your way to becoming a stone statue.

The method of using Shadow Clones is acceptable, but in a bijuu battle it would be tricky. You would have to perform the technique after the entrance post that you made, since doing so in your entrance post would be considered metagaming.

104
The vote tally still stands. Unless one of you guys want to bring this up on the rules/foundation thread and have the community make an unanimous decision on this. From there the rule will be set in stone, after the votes are tallied in that thread.

Technically it has been 8 days based on the date, but the time has only been 6 days 20 hours and 30 mins or so.
Quote from: Rusaku
I posted on a Tuesday, and it is now Tuesday once again. Though the forum is in German time, so it would be Wednesday to Wednesday, which is still 7 days surprisingly enough.

Usually I try to let this solve itself and only involve myself, when I see sort of discrepancy. Everyone's time zones were completely mixed up, so I had to go find out which is the correct posting time by using my privileges. I also used the website that Tommi put up and the end result from the calculations was this: 6 days, 21 hours, 53 minutes and 56 seconds

Keep in mind that I calculated by this application, rather than by the equations that I have to manually solve. Which was much easier to let a computer solve it for me, since human error can be easily overlooked these days. Humans aren't perfect, so that's why we have programs that fill in the gaps of information that we sometimes miss.

Now I am not the judge, so I can't speak for that guy. But I'll retract my earlier statement and say that Athos wasn't in the wrong in this subject. He had about two hours, seven minutes and four seconds to post and he beat the stretch before the timer ticked down.

Personally, I don't think that is fair to pull the rug from the guy like this when the evidence says otherwise. So I went ahead and deleted my posts in that fight and I hope Shadow will do the same. Now all we need is an interjection of commentary from Rusaku, before we decide to continue the fight from the brief entrance post that Athos made. We can halt the timer for the time being until everything is settled here first.

PS: I have nothing to gain by screwing Athos over, because like I said before I don't favor any of you guys. I hate and love everyone equally as it should be. But I'll say this, I favor my pet kitty cat more than someone that lives miles away from me and only speaks to me when they need something.  ;)

PPS: I have a love-hate relationship going with most of the community here and that's pretty swell deal to me in my opinion.

PPPS: That's a damn good pizza slice right above my post.
