- Body Revival Technique (If used to survive opening the 8th Gate. That was made before we knew what the 8th Gate does, regeneration does not let you tank disintegrating into ash.)

Village Square / Update the Edo Tensei Rules

I'd like to propose an update to the Edo Tensei rules, given what we now know about how their "bottomless" chakra works.

A second benefit is the limitless refilling of their diminished chakra reserves that the reincarnated individuals have access to; they can fight eternally and perform ordinarily physically demanding or chakra-intensive jutsu without issue, knowing their current reserves will infinitely refill.[21] They are still subject to certain inherent demands of the jutsu itself, such as the Second Tsuchikage's chakra supply being cut in half after using the Fission Technique[22] or only being able to create a certain number of clones.[23] Other side-effects may still manifest, as when Itachi Uchiha's eyes bleed from using his Mangekyō Sharingan, but he is not inhibited by it.

We now know that Edo Tensei zombies do not actually have "infinite chakra" at least not in the way that they could make a lightning blast with 1000000 peoples worth of chakra behind it, or make 1000000 shadow clones because they have infinite chakra.

We also know that they can actually entirely run out of chakra and be unable to do anything for a short while.

So what I propose is that we make an official rate of regeneration for an Edo's chakra, that they get like 5-10% back a turn or something, and in exchange remove the limit on them not being able to make solid clones. As that limit was made back when we thought being an Edo zombie did mean they could make a million billion clones.

What do we think?

Weeks ago I was still the pending challenger for the nine tails because I was next in line for it. There was no point in time in which you did not have me as a challenger and could have changed ownership of the nine tails to your alt. It's pretty simple. You can't just flip flop the bijuu between your characters to try and counter pick the challenger. Otherwise there'd be no point in naming the character as the host. We might as well just say the person behind the keyboard has this many bijuu and they'll pick which character they want to defend it with. You don't get to do that.

Kaze has the 7 Tails if someone challenges me for it I have to defend it with Kaze, not Athos.

Rules:
 - The Mazou will not take place in the fighting. It will be awarded to the winner.
- The stage that this FFA will take place will be at the Mountain's Graveyard.
- Weather conditions for this FFA will be sunny clear skies with an average temperature of 72°
- There will be no limit of posts per combatant, but the entry posts must be made by each participant before the combat actually starts. (No attacking on the first post.)
- Participants must post every forty-eight hours.
- Failure to post within the allotted time-slot is an automatic disqualification. (No skips, if you fail to post. You should've made the time to post and that is that.)
- Failure to abide by the universal void list will result in a automatic disqualification.

-Izanagi cannot be used to circumvent the negative effects of Hachimon Tonkō no Jin
-Absolutely no ridiculous technique stacking such as: Raiton no Yoroi, plus 7th gate, plus sage enhanced kyuubi (or whatever bijuu you have) cloak. (No one should be going further than Sage Mode and Raiton/Katon/Fuuton/Ototon/etc no Yoroi.)

Council / 2nd Bijū Cohort Call-to-Arms! (Public Discussion)

Alright, I guess maybe my interest in this topic is higher than most other people's but I figured a topic like this could be made just so questions can be answered. Or cleared up.

If the council ends up having an issue with this, just let me know about it and I'll close up/delete this post/topic.

I can already tell that this topic will need to be created so I'm going to nip it in the bud.

Calling the 2nd Bijū Cohort into action!

Matters to be discussed:
1) Can an individual player challenge with multiple characters simultaneously?
1a) If so, does that player then inherit the entire challenge list that comprises of their alts?

2) Does a "loss" automatically initiate the cooldown of the other player's characters if allowed to simultaneously challenge?

3) Can a single character mass challenge for all the Bijū?
3a) If so, can that indidivual have more than one Bijū challenge happening at the same time?


If I think of other matters, then I'll edit this first post to add in the questions. Please be advised that this is discussion meant for the Council to discuss first and foremost before getting the popular opinion.

So that is just to get the questions in this topic, in case people don't want to go over to the other topic. Now to pick up on the talk from the last post...

Call for an edit of the rule then, because as per the discussions held when the rule was created....challenger meant the character, not the player.

As it stands, he can make challenges for other bijuu. He can host more than one beast. If he couldn't it kind of makes collection them pointless.

Personally, I had thought that the rules pertained to the person behind the account, not the character itself. Because if it means the character and not the person, then someone can do this;

And literally put in ten challengers at once and effectively make it so that no one else can challenge me until they get to try over and over, effectively taking away anyone else's shot at a Bijuu for weeks, if not months. o.o I figured that was the reason that the challenger rule applied to the person behind the account and not to the account.

In my mind, I believe that we need to amend the clause that allows for 1 person to hold more than one Bijū. I very, very firmly believe that it should be 1 Bijū per PLAYER, not character.

And this, really? o.o But like Kay said, it would defeat the purpose of being able to collect if you did something like that. Hell, when we went to redistribute the Bijuu, we had issues getting people coming out to fight for them at first. And then the people that did come out to fight, almost all of them are no longer active or even around << Limiting Bijuu to one per person would be several steps back.

And finally;

Even though Ryoji is doing this out of pure spite there isn't a rule he's breaking.

Village Square / Hijacking an opponents jutsu. Y/N?

So this just came up in my fight with Trev though I was actually already thinking about it beforehand. Can you hijack a jutsu your opponent is already controlling?

As an example in the fight Trev and I are having I use Steel Release to make a golem, he turns into Steel with Assimilate All Creation, which also allows you to control the substance you changed into at will, and then uses it to turn my golem into steel powder.

Now logically that makes sense and I understand it but should we let people do this?

Personally I think no because it's really unfun. It would make all 5 basic elements useless since everyone could just go, oh I use my fire Release to dispel your fireball, etc. and Assimilate All Creation would be super buffed since it would make you immune to basically every elemental KG on top of the 5 basic which most people claim.

What do we think?

Ryoji’s last public post as far as I can tell was 14 days and several minutes ago, in zone 1. I’ve checked every fighting zone that is accessible to everyone and every village board and didn’t see any posts from him. You’ve got to post every 14 days and if my math checks out right even 14 days and 1 minute is longer than 14 days. So I am requesting the rules be enforced and Ryoji be stripped of all of his bijuu.

Council / Bijuu Council Decision: Nine Tails Challengers

So Genesis and I have an issue we need the council to decide on.

He made his "official challenge" for the 9 Tails and it was so silly that everyone, including the challengee and a moderator thought it was a joke and it was moved to spam.

Meanwhile I made a deal with Ryoji that I would get to fight him sooner than the challenge cooldown allowed for if I won another bijuu in a fight. I won the 7 Tails today and this evening Ryoji and I started our pre-fight discussions as per our agreement.

Then Genesis comes back insisting his challenge was legitimate and that he should get to fight Ryoji before me.

So we need a call on who gets to go first.

My logic of course is that I should go first because if your challenge is so ridiculous that everyone thinks it's a joke and the host starts another fight, that's the challengers fault, and he should be held responsible for it, not get to cut ahead of me.

Village Square / The Third Ever Cherry Blossom Festival.

Now I know that it's been awhile since someone tried to go about setting up a public RP event for everyone to just enjoy, but it's time that someone tried again.

So, I was thinking of bringing back something that was from the really, really, really old days of SL o.o I am pretty sure there has only been two of them, held in Konoha and then Suna, but anyone who remembers better than me feel free to mention.

I want us to work as a community to set up this event, now obviously the village that holds the festival will have to have a public board and preferable not a village that already hosted one but it's been so long, the other festivals might as well not have happened.

Uzushiogakure would be more than happy to hold such event, but other villages willing to step up are more than welcome and we can all talk about it.

Personally, I think Kiri should maybe host the event, because let's be real guys. The Kiri folks have been getting a really bad rep lately but I know behind all the official drama, they aren't bad people o.o And I think people could really use a reminder like that.

Anyway, hopefully I can get this started and rolling, SL needs to do something that isn't Bijuu.
