Bijuu Arena / Official Challenge
« on: September 19, 2016, 04:35:36 AM »
As we are aware, Bocchiere has left and he gave the Bijuu to the council.

Well, with that being said. I would like to formally challenge the council for all nine Bijuu. If you want, I could make a topix for each one indiviually but I would rather not.

And if for some awful reason that is too much, maybe over the top(even though it isn't breaking any rules to do this in the slightest), then I will state this clearly now; If my challenge for all nine is denied, then I simply challenge the council and their GM's for just the Nine Tails instead.

I'd also like to challenge for the Mazo but that will probably be a touchy subject for awhile.

Anyway, this isn't a joke. This is my official challenge for the beast(s) to the council.

Village Square / The Eighth Gate and Kamui
« on: June 13, 2016, 08:25:38 PM »
So I was watching the fight between Madara and Guy because, I mean, it is flipping awesome. And I had thought about this before but now that I am watching this again, I decided to ask about it.

Now it is shown in the Manga and Anime that when Guy uses his final move, the Night Guy, that he can literally bend space. Now, I can't remember what the fight was, but on SL there was a fight where someone used the intangibility version of Kamui to escape the Eighth Gate.

Would using Kamui let you avoid a move like the Night Guy if it affects space? o.o Or would you still be struck by the attack?

Bijuu Arena / Three dead boys got up to fight....
« on: June 06, 2016, 08:46:54 AM »
(Copied from Rusaku, who copied it from Night.)

Current Host: Athos.

Affiliation: Shinobi Kingdom.

Battle Method: 1v1 OOC death match

Judge(s): PMs will be used to determine an agreed-upon judge

List of Challengers:
Bocchiere.

Special Rules:

-The match will be OOC for the benefit of both participating characters. This is essentially to prevent either playing from having to deal with the hassle of dying IC, and additionally leaves both participants free for IC RP during the match. Thus, though the match will be OOC, participants must still RP as their character, exactly as if they were IC, with the addition of following any decided voids, nerfs, etc.

-The match will strictly be 1v1, to prevent any complications arising from extra participants. The player remaining alive retains Saiken. The player that is killed will neither gain nor lose anything else. Essentially, this means the match is strictly about the beast and thus nothing else will be changed as a result.

-If desired, a logical RP can be worked out for a reasonable and plausible IC transfer of the beast to the next host.

-Despite the match being OOC, you need to learn of my possession of either beast before you may challenge for it. Thus, you may not challenge for them without proof of how your character learned of my possession of the beast. Once that is confirmed, a hunt/match is then reasonable and you will be put on the challenge list.

-No match will begin without a judge agreed upon beforehand.

-For anyone, including myself, participants will be allowed any common, general, and basic skills that their character possesses as long as those skills are backed by reasonable explanations (they have an existing explanation in the character’s RP history).

———————————————

~If using any of the eight IG KG, the same system against combing rinnegan/sage, uchiha/hyuga, etc. applies. Any external or custom special skills will need to be accurately assessed and set before the match begins.

————————————————

-Arguing is discouraged. I will talk over any concerns regarding the match with you if the conversation remains calm and logical. If it steps outside of that, then the judge will be asked to make a decision. Pointlessly bickering is not fun or useful for anyone.

-Participants will have fourteen days to post. If they wait longer than that period of time to respond to the other participant, the posting participant will win by default. In the case of an emergency, this may be reviewed and extended by a week, thus totaling a total allotted response time of twenty one days. However, if any post is discredited for rule-breaking and a repost is required, then that post does not count and the repost must be posted within the original timeframe. Should the challenger repeatedly wait until the last moment before posting, I reserve the right to disqualify the challenger from this battle. (This does not stop them from challenging a second time)

-If any of the rules set forward are broken, I reserve the right to cancel the match. This will not prevent you from re-challenging.

Non-Negotiable Voids:

-Anything that does not have a reasonable explanation within the Naruto/SL lore
-Any custom technique that has no prescribed flaw (auto-hitting/character control)
-Any of the recent Rikudo powered abilities
-Body Revival Technique (when used to survive Hachimon)
-Izanami
-Swift Release

Hunter's Guild / Hero's Guild: Spooky Scary Skeletons
« on: January 04, 2016, 08:55:18 PM »
As night came over the sky, dark powers began to stir outside of Carne Village, and inside the Cemetery. The cemetery was large in size, having carried Carne Village's dead since people built the town, which was some time ago. Of course, countless graves of mostly the same size covered the grounds, though there were a dozen or so large grave stones spread here and there and fewer, small buildings that housed a few corpses in them, mostly mayors or important people of Carne Village. There was a mausoleum to match the Cemetery at the far side of the entrance through the gates, where the corpses of the warriors or militiamen Carne Village once had were buried safely.

Soil shifted, bones creaked, and activity started in the Cemetery. Corpses, most which were skeletons with tattered clothing on them, patrolled the graveyard. Some of the corpses still had decaying flesh or muscle on them, giving off horrible and sickening smells, as well as being a horrific sight to behold.

The air seemed thick over the whole cemetery, and had an odd sensation throughout the air. What could cause the dead to rise?

Hunter's Guild / Hero's Guild: Dungeons 101
« on: December 20, 2015, 11:01:42 AM »
Down one of the paths within Carne Forest was the opening to a dungeon carved into the side of a large hill. There was a slight clearing around the entrance of the cave, save for a few rocks. On one of the rocks sat the six foot and seven inch man atop a rock big enough for his form, legs crossed. He wore the elegant and symbolic outfit of the guild leader, it being a surprisingly strong and reliable piece of armor. What was to note more importantly was the white gauntlets over his hands, that were lean and sleek, complimenting his outfit. On his waist was a black case holding a long weapon, though the hilt was also beautifully designed. His crimson hair, which was like silk, came down only a few inches past his waist. He sat with his arms on his lap, taking a deep breath and meditating as he waited for the group of people to arrive. He had heard word from Palom that they should be on their way soon.

Hunter's Guild / Hero's Guild: Bar Fights
« on: December 15, 2015, 08:43:45 AM »
There was a bald man standing behind the counter of a bar, a scowl on his face. The sun was just setting and he was hoping someone had taken up his quest. His eyes scanned the area as he cleaned a glass with a rag, before placing it down. The place was pretty full, considering the sun still wasn't down yet. There didn't seem like any trouble was starting just yet.

Hunter's Guild / Hero's Guild: Cat Trouble!

Sitting outside of the road leading into Carne Village sat a little girl. She wore a light blue dress over her body, a bow in her brown hair to match. She sat with her knees pulled up against her chest, a sad look in her mud colored eyes.

Hunter's Guild / Guild Shop
« on: December 01, 2015, 04:56:17 AM »
The shop is large, the walls covered in countless different weapons or items for use. Armor rests on mannequins on the floor and in the back there is a bearded man resting on his elbows on the counter. Behind him is, what seems to be, the setup of a blacksmith. The man waits for purchases to be made, able to ask any questions that need to be answered. He can also be asked about the specific details about the weapons and armor for sale in his shop.

It is also here that Item Drops can be brought to the man at the counter to be appraised, or perhaps crafted into something useful, or even sold for a nice price. The man, who is a white haired man with stubble to match and dressed in a blacksmith's outfit, is also known for being able to tell what any item is capable of, for a price.

Hunter's Guild / Mission Headquarters

The building is large in size, being beautiful designed on the outside. The inside is the same, with beautiful wooden floors and interior wall design. Hunter's Guild / Character Registration Center
« on: December 01, 2015, 04:56:01 AM »
The room is set up in a simple design, once the room is entered the main desk is straight ahead. To your left are two tables, one of which has some clothing and skimpy pieces of armor laid out on it while the other one has a variety of weapons to choose from. To your right is a room that contains about two dozen chairs and tables, four chairs to each table. Upon reaching the desk, you are given a form and then ushered to take a seat at one of the tables. You’re told that once you fill out the form, you will be given the Guild’s ‘Starter Kit’, which will contain a set of Guild Armor, a weapon of your choice, and a small amount of crystals! So you sit down and look down at the form, ready to get started!

NOTE: The following is a guideline to make a character suitable and fair to use in the RPs pertaining to the Guild.
-   You can only have one Visual KG, and they cannot go past their first reborn level.  This means the Byakugan can only see 30 yards in each direction and the Sharingan cannot progress pass the Third Tomoe. They can get stronger with time in the Guild and experience.
-   One Physical KG, only if you haven’t chosen a Visual KG. Though these are limited as well. Sage Mode is limited to imperfect(at first), Gates are limited to Five, though starting number will be Two, and Kaguya Bones can only get as strong as Steel at first.
-   If you haven’t chosen a Visual or Elemental KG yet, then you could also choose an elemental KG, whether it be Bakuton, Mokuton, or even Futton. But the strength of these are at the most basic levels, as well as your control.
-   Elements are limited to either one element you are great at, or two that you are okay at, for starters. Elements can be mastered and possibly learned as your experience grows.
-       When choosing an element, one can choose a Hiden instead. But like everything else, it will be limited to little use and poor control, although it can be mastered with time and experience.
-   You must start out with the beginning armor and weapons and work your way up, no custom items from your character’s arsenal on SL.
-   Each application will be edited by those that submit them as time goes on, such as adding notoriety, or getting better equipment.
-   You can only choose one starting weapon but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to only hold or use one.
-       NO Shadow Clones, it takes away the danger and excitement of the RP, defeating the whole purpose.

The Registration Form:

Name:

Age:

Height:

Appearance (Link or post a picture):

Notoriety (Starting Notoriety is Zero):

Starting Weapon Choice:

Preferred Weapon Choice:

Kekkei Genkai:

Elemental:

Preferred Combat Range:

Armor:

Guild Armor. Light protection against cold and heat, though not a lot. Not sturdy against cutting weapons and won’t do much against blunt weapons either.

Starting Weapon (Choose one):

Starter’s Staff: A staff of iron that stands at about six feet tall, providing the user with a nice range of attack.

Starter’s Dual Daggers: Two iron daggers meant for someone who is faster on their feet and good with their hands. They provide a more up close and personal fighting style.

Starter’s Sword and Shield: A simple iron blade and shield, meant for someone who knows how to balance offense and defense.

Starter’s Bow and Arrow: An iron bow equipped with iron tipped arrows. Providing range attacks with adequate piercing power. Quiver holds fifteen arrows.

Starter’s Mace: An iron spiked mace that can be held by a strap around the wrist, providing nice blunt damage.

Starter’s Axe: An iron, dual sided axe that can be held in one hand. It can be hard to swing easily, but it can carry a powerful blow.

Starter’s Broadsword: A large, two handed Iron Sword. It can be slow to swing but it can cut deep if it hits.

Starter’s Hammer: A large iron hammer, similar to the two handed Broadsword. Great blunt damage though it’s hard to swing fully.

Starter’s Gauntlets: You don’t get much more personal than with these iron gauntlets. They can provide as much damage as you can throw punches.

Weapons: Whatever you choose first, and then whatever you buy.

Crystals: 10

Equipment: Crystal Pouch, Small Pouch (Capacity Five).

Items (You’ll get some along the way): None

Once you finish the form up, it having taken some time, you would return it to the woman, who welcomes you to the Guild. She hands you a set of armor and the weapon you chose to take before directing you to Mission Headquarters.
