be aware if you encounter him in the forest :P

are the chances of gaining hp higher, equal, alot higher or alot lower than losing hp?

the potion peddler will tell you a short summary of each potion.
(of course some things are altered... would be boring to have exactly the same stuff as posted in the thread, and also the chances are not in there)

I myself bumped into him a few times and recieved Hitpoints 1 of the 2 times. Some choices just have better % then the others.

No its not just for jounins or higher. im an academy student and i found him by chance. i only saw him once though but i gave him a gem for a green potion and it gave me +1 permanent hp. thats not bad...

Im an academy student but i have encountered him once. didnt know what he was at that time. so then i gave him 1 gem for the green potion and i got +1 permanent health.

I had 100 gems before... But that was AFTER the vitality potion was sold out. So I spent it on charm. >.>

erm, if I would have wanted it easy..... why did I remove the vitaliy potion which IS the easiest way...

1:1 for gem transactions, with a high amount of 100... (quite a mass).
I deliberately put 1:1 in some cases for the peddler, but it was NOT for giving out "just a hundred" of hp...

I love the peddler, he gave me 1 HP to balance out the 15 I lost from myself in the forest this morning. :-? And it seems you removed the ability to get HP from my other source...

Everytime I see the Peddler I walk away, I see too many people dying by that guy.
Oh, and You stole 16 health from me Baluski, that was two weeks ago, and I've only gained 4 of them back. :smt076

What? You mean you guys didn't read what the peddler was saying?! It says one sip of this can kill you but guy guys went on ahead without listen & drank the whole bottle...

the peddler has reached his final stages.
you can now meet him in "better" mood and he sells you much more ... scrolls, potions, even loot items.
what he sells depends on the day... and you meet him randomly like before in the woods.
you can also (currently) buy or sell (sell only some items meant for sale) up to 3 items per day (NOT 3 sells/ 3 buys... more like 1 sell, 2 buys OR 2 sells, 1 buy etc) in his "better mood". These items will work 100% what they describe. Though are more expensive.
Have fun, this is my last new parting gift for some time.

You don't have a 100% chance of getting permanent hitpoints.

Hey the potion peddler isnt that bad .... its a cheap , but hilariously risky way to gain hitpoints :P ... i got from a few hitpointsthe black potion from the red one before... but then again i lost the same amount of hitpoints the same way :-x ...
but then baluski takes more hitpoints away from me then any other event i've met >.>

this about potions stay on subject or penquin dies, on topic i found the potion peddler took a chance with the black potion and began my hunt for the really low hped acads :twisted:.

Is the percentage of seeing the potions peddler equal to the chances of seeing Baluski?..
Like 1 in 7 turns runs into the peddler and 1 in 7 runs into Baluski?...
Because I have this dreadful feeling that I have better chances of running into Baluski 5 times before seeing the potion guy once... >.>

I run unto him VERY rarely. only 3 times ever actually. And he said I was worthless so yeah :)

if you are going to end up below your normal hp if you give him hp, hell leave and call you worthless. if he does takes so much hp you have less than normal than its a bug.

I ran into him today actually. The only one worth buying is the scroll of life to me. As for potions you can get the 6 elixir which is really nice! but it's a little pricy. And the loot is horrible lol. Usually I just sell loot to him. The expensive loot.

They depend on what you need. Scroll of life IMHO is the best to me cuase it heals amazing. But they have the powerup ones and the scroll of heaven which is decent.

Or the nin merchant, he sells all three. Loot potions and scrolls, and you can sell 2 of your loot.

I noticed XD. I had 30 gems, and I was telling myself (ALRIGHT! YOU CAN DO THIS! JUST 80 MORE GEMS AND YOUR STRIFE IS OVER!) but I spent it on 15 permanent hp :(. I really have low hp for my level, around 215 at level 15, and I have 18 DK's :(

I just used my last 46 gems...
I prefer to run into the scrolls merchant more than the potion peddler, since I have better luck with the merchant :)

as you might consider, the thread in "new features" is not for you to share experiences or tell stories what you did with the new module...
it is to make suggestions, maybe report bugs, ask concerning the modules.
I read now through the "new features" threads and all I see is "whoa, I did A" and "you did A? I think B is better" ... etc etc
So I get tired of reading all this stuff...

Gained 3 gems from the old house.
Gained 2 gems from the outhouse.
Attack +1
But I also lost to Kakashi and Anbu today. 15% experience lost.
