Bijuu Arena / The one true death battle! Ninja vs Pirate! Bocchiere defends against Tobias!

Special Conditions

-The match is IC unless otherwise agreed upon.

-The match will be what I refer to as "staggered IC". That meaning we can rp whilst the match happens, but the end result of the match will still occur IC. Once a victor is decided the Jinchuriki and Challenger then finish whatever rp they are in and immediately post going to begin the fight, so that is when it happens chronologically. If you manage to get yourself killed before the fight happens it will be voided, but I'm not forcing you to rp elsewhere during the fight.

-Once a judge is agreed upon, either before the fight starts or the first time a decision is needed, they are the judge for the rest of the fight.

-The Challenger and Jinchuriki each have a one time ability to boot a judge. If the agreed upon judge makes a decision just so despicable that you need to get a new one you can say that after this decision you are requesting a new judge. Each participant can do this ONCE, and NOT while a decision is being made. Once a new judge is picked they are the set judge for the rest of the fight, or until the remaining boot is used on them.

-You cannot borrow techniques from your friends like Dust Release or Hirashin. You can only use what abilities and tools you have In-Character during the fight, even if it's OOC.

-If you take 7 days to post, the fight will be called off and you will be declared the loser. If the fight was OOC that means you just lose. If it was IC that means the opposition gets to legally auto-hit you, likely meaning you die or are sealed. Note that the timer does not reset if you posted once and then have to repost. I.e. You waited 6 days to post, but your post was all godmodding and autohitting, and then waited 3 days to repost, then you still lose.

-Everyone gets ONE repost only.

Village Square / Stripping Ryoji of the 2 and 0 Tails

Ryoji has seemingly said that he has not posted IC within the 14 day period required by the rules that he agreed to follow. The consequence for this is stripping of the bijuu. For the sake of being official this topic is made to confirm whether the above statement is true or not.

I'm his pending challenger for both bijuu, if he hasn't been following the rules than I would like him to be stripped.

Oh shit, Bijuu Topic? Check. Bocchiere? Check. Things are going to get awful for everyone.

I'm hoping not anyway. I'm just asking for a community decision to come to order regarding Rusaku/Ryoji. I challenged him for the 0 tails with my alt Taiga Saejima on the 17th. He told me at that time that no, he had another challenger, and could not fight me. I looked at his challenger list and saw that it had not been updated since January of this year and told him that he needs to keep an up to date list of challengers especially if he's going to be denying challenges based on them, though he never did say who the challenger was.

I said I'd give him 2 days to update the list before I made a topic about it since I thought that was more than enough time to edit his challenger list to be up to date. Well I had a very fun and busy weekend so I just did not bother but lo and behold 5 days later he still has not updated it nor started this alleged fight. The other rule coming up is,

"You and the Host have 1 week to set up and begin the match."

I told him that as well that if he did have a challenger and they were waiting to start for some reason that he now had another challenger and thus had to get started within a week or said challenger would be booted to the back of the line. Obviously he has 2 more days on that but I just wanted to bring it to attention since I'm going to guess that if he could not update the challenger list in 5 days he probably won't start this fight in 2.

So I guess to start with I'm looking for a consensus that he needs to update his list and make public who his challengers are or I suppose be stripped if he is for some reason no longer willing to do that.

Special Notes:

Rusaku's Tenseigan chakra mode has been nerfed so the physical buffs and bonus to jutsu and such it gives are equal to Perfect Sage Mode. In exchange he can use Truth Seeking Balls and the unnerfed version of Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion and all those techniques.

Bocchiere is allowed to claim his Rikudou Chakra. Having gained Six Paths Chakra gives him a passive and constant buff to his abilities equal in power to a V1 Bijuu Mode. He can use the Six Path Chakra to combine techniques, like Kamui Lightning Blade, but such techniques take 2 actions. 1 to form the technique and 1 to imbue the second into it. Original techniques and techniques combining jutsu with techniques other than Kamui are allowed but will be reviewed for fairness on a case by case basis.

As challenger Rusaku will be making the first post below.

Has anyone heard the term village items before? I've been here on and off since 2006 and never have until this situation.

Obviously I disagree with it because it is just arbitrarily excluding canon items from the canon items rules as an effort to never lose them. There would be no point in the canon item rules since I am sure many items could be attributed to a village, especially if their owners are the ones who get to decide.

What I'm looking for here is an agreement on whether this is a thing or not.

Village Square / Limbo: Border Jail. Fair with Rules? Voided?

First of all I just want to point out that I am not trying to get the ability to use Limbo overturned in my current fight. I just actually think it could be fair. Not in Naruto but on SL.

The thing is if we followed the rules of Naruto as we know them as of the end of the series then we wouldn't have so many Rinnegan users. Only by combining the chakras of Indra and Ashura can the Rinnegan be awakened in the manga. That means that in the manga there could be at most 4-6 people with the ability to use Limbo and the ability to combat it around at any given time. And that's only with reincarnation shenanigans bringing back the past generations of Indra and Ashura reincarnations. It should naturally only be 2.

The thing is we don't do that here on SL. We stuck with it just being Uchiha DNA + Senju DNA. So an unlimited number of people can awaken the Rinnegan and gain the Six Paths Chakra required to see and damage the Limbo clones. I think it would also be logical to say that if you have Uchiha and Senju but with Sage Mode instead of Rinnegan than you could sense and damage the clones while in Sage Mode, like Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode.

We would of course have to make hard rules about how many turns the shadows can stay out, how many you can make, and how long they remain on cooldown. Other things I am not thinking of as well I am sure.

Of course if the consensus of the community is, "Nah screw that jutsu" than it's all pretty pointless.

What do we think? Is Limbo worth saving or should it be scrapped?

Spam / Blatant Plug of a Friends Kickstarter

Hi Forum. Some friends of mine have taken it upon themselves to make a pretty cool deck building game. It's called Grimmwar and is themed around being monsters and hunting the monster hunters who are trying to kill you. Each player is an "Alpha" monster like the Werewolf packleader or the eldest vampire etc etc. I have been helping them playtest it and it is quite fun.

They just put up the Kickstarter earlier today and already have over 2000 dollars of their 10,000 dollar goal. So of course here I am hoping I can convince a few other people to perhaps buy into it. Give it a looksie.

Spam / An Open Letter to the Community

I just wanted to set a couple things straight since I am given the opportunity to give what may be my final words here. I’m not sure what my decisions will be yet.

What I did on the wiki is what I thought was right. I don’t expect that to convince anyone who already believes otherwise to change their view but there you go. I do apologize for the way I handled it and some other things on the wiki though.

It’s no secret to anyone here that I am aggressive and quick to anger, but that’s because I actually do care about this place quite a bit. I know we all do, in spite of ourselves sometimes, because we keep coming back here. I’ve got a lot of passion for this and that can quickly become anger. I’m better at controlling it than I once was but that just wound up meaning it took longer for me to finally snap this time. Regardless of what I think that was not appropriate either.

I don’t think in my shoes most of you would have done much different though. We all have our biases and, more importantly, the things we think are right.

You guys have no problems calling me corrupt, or greedy, or a bully but Kayenta, you’re going to tell me you’ve never jumped down someone’s throat just because they did something you don’t agree with in rp? Like maybe two people fighting a bijuu match? Xia? You guys really going to tell me that even if this was the most clear cut call ever, like if all the swords were actually claimed by Gitsune and she’d hadn’t been on in 2 years, that you wouldn’t have raised just as much of a fuss? Come on, let’s be honest with ourselves. If we were to look at the actions of any of the people who have been vocal against me in a different light they could look corrupt, greedy, or mean. It’s not easy to consider that someone doing something you disagree with might be trying to do what they think is right, it’s a lot easier to dismiss them as liars or cheaters or bullies.

That’s why we always devolve into these fights because it is impossible for us to interact with some people when we view everything they do through, “This person is definitely lying, they always lie. This person is definitely just trying to manipulate things like always. This guy is a cheat just like before.” It’s hard to change your way of thinking and acting, god knows I haven’t been able to manage, but if we don’t this place is going to keep dying.

I could go on for a while but I don’t want to just start rambling or offend someone. Hopefully this might do a little good.

If you’ve got anything you need to say to met go ahead and get it off your chest. Just pm me. That includes if you’ve ever really wanted to tell me where to stick it too, don’t hold anything back, I’m not going to be reporting anyone.

Rules/Foundation / Can you be Jinchuriki of Multiple Bijuu?

Seems obvious but it is not technically a rule. Should people be allowed to seal multiple bijuu inside themselves? Should this apply to custom things as well? Like if someone rp's that they have a demon of a non-bijuu nature sealed in them should they be allowed to seal a bijuu in them as well? This is probably a pretty niche thing but we are supposed to be closing all loopholes we can.
