Bocchiere recognized the unique hand signs involved in the water shark technique, and his suspicions were confirmed when he saw it.

A small white orb of pure chakra would form near-instantly on the tip of his index finger and he would thrust it forward toward the back of the hurtling Bijuu-dama. It would shoot out as a finger thin beam of Dust Release chakra, reaching the orb as it reached the water shark.

The beam would pierce through the Bijuu-dama, which was enough to destabilize it and cause it to explode, even as it was being absorbed into the shark. Even reduced the blast of a Bijuu-dama would be enough to wipe out the water shark, effectively nullifying both of the attacks.

However Bocchiere would not cease pulling Trev in with Bansho Ten'in and the other Bocchiere would not stop his Dust Release attack which would continue on to attempt to pierce Trev's chest and then would be raised up to cut him in half vertically with the all-destroying beam.

The jet boosters would reduce the effectiveness of the pull but at best Trev could hope to make it a stalemate so he was stuck in one spot in the air, which would not help him avoid the Jinton attack.

Village Square / Re: That dusty ol' Sword of Totsuka (Discussion)
« on: August 29, 2016, 02:00:30 AM »
Dang it you have no idea how excited I was to see this topic.

I also spoke with Mioku about the Totsuka sword recently, since I've been trying to get him to fight me for it for years. He said he was planning to give it to someone else in Kiri soon though he would not say who, which was smart, since I'd have tried to get them assassinated.

Anyway I suggested to him hey, instead of just giving it to someone in Kiri who will maybe use it one time as you have, you could put it up for a grabs in an rp event for anyone who is interested (many I am sure) to have a shot at it. He seemed pretty into the idea and actually said he would talk to YOU, Kamui, about doing that.

So as you can imagine when I saw the topic title and your name I thought he had actually went and pulled the trigger on it, but alas, no.

As for your question no you cannot strip them of it. You do not need to have evidence that you used the item IC, normally, as that is not part of the activity rule. The only reason that happened recently with Kiri was they had the swords claimed by "Sealed" on the claims list, and as there was no one by that name on the site, the swords were up for grabs. They claimed Gitsune was the owner of them during the time in question which is why proof was requested. Under normal circumstances that is not required, the person who owns the item merely has to log on within the period of time. Mioku has been doing that (trust me I've checked).

I'd suggest looking for other avenues of attack in regards to getting the blade, feel free to pm me if  you want to hash out ideas.

Bocchiere was certainly not blind. He might not be able to make out the Fuin on the kunai Trev had thrown from that distance but he didn't really need to to figure out that the kunai he had thrown straight up into the air just before vanishing in a flash of light to avoid the attack was probably marked for Hiraishin.

Bocchiere and the Yonbi both glanced upward, the skies luckily clear, and they saw Trev astride a large bird, flying away from them. "Unlikely!" Bocchiere would exclaim as he entered his Nine Tails Chakra mode, the crimson red cloak that enveloped him putting him on par with Trev's Sage Transformation.

He'd make a single kata and a Moku-Bunshin would appear in a puff of smoke, also in Nine Tails Chakra Mode, standing next to him. This clone would quickly ascend its eyes to their Rinnegan form and extend a hand toward Trev, utilizing Bansho Ten'in to start reeling him back in. Normally he'd be out of the technique range but that was as enhanced by the Perfect Sage Mode-like buff of his transformation as any other one of his techniques would be.

Trev would feel the tugging of the attractive force on his body, which would quickly grow stronger and stronger, as the technique ramped up.

The Yonbi would open its mouth toward Trev as if to roar but instead a great mass of positive and negative chakra would begin to coalesce in front of its maw, this of course being a Bijuu-dama. The condensed sphere would be launched toward Trev as the Yondaime was being yanked back by the Rinnegan clone, drawn inexorably into the path of the attack.

If struck by the massive orb Trev's body, Sage Mode or not, would be pulverized by the speed at which the massive sphere flew, and that was before it exploded and vaporized whatever was left.

That was all assuming Trev did nothing, of course, and that too was rather unlikely.

Bocchiere could feel the chakra of the unique Zetsu appear. He recognized some of them, but not all. He smiled at the ones he did recognize, "Alright you have my attention." The chakra cloak surrounding would expand and billow out into a literal cloak of chakra the adorned his already chakra-clad form and the incredible high speeds he was moving at would double even further, making him an utterly incomprehensible blur to anyone without movement tracking Doujutsu, such as the Sharingan. This was his Demon Fox Chakra Mode, his highest level transformation, born from the synchronisation of his Killing Intent with the Kyuubi's.

He dashed further through the tunnel before coming to a stop and waiting for the enemy to approach him.

That makes sense but is not what the technique is stated to do.

If you absorbed all their chakra out of them via the Preta Path they would turn solid, otherwise you'd just be draining chakra from their elemental form till that happens, that's all.

Kyuubi would disrupt Bocchiere's chakra flow on the chance the wave from Trev was an attempt to capture Bocchiere in Ephemeral, as Trev had done in their most recent encounter.

Bocchiere would smile wryly and begin to walk toward Trev at a normal walking pace, "Funny how these things work out." The Jashinist called out to the Yondaime, "This time I have the 4 tails and you're a zombie. I hope you don't think the result will be inverted as well though."

In a flash of movement Bocchiere would knick one finger on his canine tooth and make a sign before extending his palm into the air before him, a summoning seal stretching out from it. Bocchiere would leap up as a massive cloud of smoke erupted and the 4 Tails itself appeared with Bocchiere atop its head. "If you want it, come get it!"

The beast bore strange Tomoed Rinnegan eyes, the effect of being doubly controlled by both Sharingan and Rinnegan, several chakra rods impaled in its back and inside its mouth. It roared in anguish and slammed two massive fists on the ground, causing the ground in front of it for several hundred meters to crack and break as torrents of molten rock exploded up from the ground and would threaten to bury Trev under a sheet of lava. The molten explosion would cover everything in front of the Yonbi in the shape of a square roughly 200 meters wide and 400 meters long (the long side being parallel to Bocchiere and the Yonbi)

I've got no problem with everyone having a copy of everything they want as long as the caveat is you can void items and techniques gained in that fashion at any time, including bijuu fights.

That's why I'm saying to put the GMs to work. Have them be the only people who could 'give out' items through rp. That way they should be the only ones who are able to update the claims list so people can't just have free range over everything. At least, if option 2 were to be put into effect.

Ok that just means it delays everyone getting a copy of everything they want though, it will still happen unless the rp's are brutally hard to complete.

Teostra you're smart, I like you, but you're clearly out of the loop insofar as what Kiri has been up to or you'd know they've fallen short of any reasonable standards for some time now.

The point against having multiple copies of each item is that then there is no point to having the claims list. If that's what you want to do fine. Just say that anyone can have anything they want. There's no need to officiate that and in fact anyone can already do that. Most people don't because the community at large does not accept that, most people don't want anyone who wants Samehada to have one and most people don't want everyone who wants Hiriashin to know it.

Well if you did it then they can too. I'm certainly not going to be coming around telling them not to rp or trying to kill them.

I agree with most of what you said. Mioku did educate himself on the situation he wasn't going in blind and other than that, the implication that Kiri isn't already dead. They may not be clinically dead but they are a vegetable on life support and you're absolutely right the only thing keeping them going is their canon claims.

The thing is this isn't news. Kiri has been sick since I got to this site and nothing has been done to change the course away from this inevitable conclusion.

How many years do you look at that plug before pulling it seems less like a murder and more like a mercy? It's been near a decade Kay.

They are part of the community yes but when flesh turns gangrenous you amputate. It's never anyone's first course of action but when it's that or death the choice is pretty easy. I say if they lose their swords and die out because of it they can't blame anyone but themselves.

Mioku is the current leader of the ssm if you'll remember and he was the one who agreed to settle the issue in the manner that we did. The matter is over and the swords owners have been decided.

Where are your ever present calls to just do an rp? You said that constantly when I was trying to settle this matter why aren't you just telling Kiri to rp getting their swords back? Perhaps they are as cognizant of the fact as I am that all their efforts being summarily voided would be well deserved just desserts?

Kiri makes the claims list, bijuu battles, village attacks, and everything else they interact with broken because they are incapable of utilizing anything properly unless it is geared to support only them. Any fair system would indeed seem broken when they are involved because there is a chance for them not to get their way, which renders much the same reaction from them as holy water does from a vampire.

The situation is resolved, the claims list is not broken. Kiri is the only thing involved with all of these issues, these same issues occurred with the bijuu fights and I wasn't even on the site at that time. As soon as they accept this and improve the way they interact with the community and how the handle the rules and systems we have we will stop having these problems.

If someone bought a new blender and then attempted to pulverize gravel in it and it broke would you blame the blender for being poorly designed or them for using it wrong? That's what Kiri did to the claims list and that's why it caused so many problems. They had the swords listed as claimed by "Sealed" for over a year, which was never an option. That was why their ownership was in question and why it was such a big problem and why Kiri ended up losing them, as I feel is a appropriate for anyone rampantly making up/not following rules.

That being said that's really the only major issue we've had as a result of the claims list. Minor disagreements from time to time but those all get sorted out quickly. Nothing needs to be done since it works fine when you use it correctly.

As for new players wanting things that isn't a problem either. Every other site I've been on also restricts unique items to one in the world as we have it and most are even stricter with abilities saying anywhere from 1-5 people on the whole site can have things like Rinnegan jiongu etc.

I'm willing to rp with anyone who wants something of mine. The tasks I give them are usually very hard but they should be for things like Hiraishin.

The type of people who will void you if you look at them funny, they feel like it, or its Tuesday are the problem.

The discussion is over and Kiri has already been stripped of the swords.

Bocchiere would spiral into the zone via a Kamui portal, meaning his EMS was of course active. He wore his fancy new outfit!

Which hid the array of Fuinjutsu inscribed on his arms. He did not currently hold any visible weapons or tools but lets be honest those are for chumps anyway. The sun stood overhead at high noon (dives behind cover to dodge the McRee ult) and Bocchiere stood awaiting the arrival of his opponent.
