Title: Double Postal Donation
Post by: Ichabod12 on September 11, 2006, 10:27:32 PM

I hope the letter is not too heavy ^^

and you didn't put them in loose and fixed them with tape or so.

thanks again (but mind your nutrition too...as thankful as I am ^^)

You sent coins...through the mail?! *Postal employee shakes envelope* "So, what do we have here?" *cracks open envelope and puts the money in his pocket*

Just saying...a check would probably be better.

That made me crack up, but yeah you should've sent it by check.

a check in foreign currency... costs a lot of money to make to cash too :(

as I said, I am not fond of postal donations ... yet they are in a way necessary (though yes, coins are not a good thing to send)

I know :/ but the average employee won't care about 4 dollars worth of coins. And he would assume most rare coins would be sent in a much safer way.

My nutrition is my own charge  :D. Until I start on the high school soccer team I will eat as little as I want  :P I'm not anorexic though it's ok I'll just make a sandwich. School lunch is better, but has huge amounts of calories I'd rather eat from home anyway and put the money to good use.

I can't send checks........yet. Besides I don't really want my parents knowing about this anyway they'll interrogate me or something.

By the way, I can't send it today I had alot of homework. I'll be able to tomorrow.

Maybe hes not an average employee, what if he is a syper villain in disguise, but why dont you want your parents, to know, i doubt neji wants you to lie to your parents.
Title: Re: Double Postal Donation
Post by: Ichabod12 on September 11, 2006, 11:27:07 PM
I didn't say I was lying. If they ask I'll tell them. It is just troublesome to tell them, and chances are they won't care anyway. I don't like to lie, I'm not good at it, and it makes me feel horrible. Don't think I'm sneaking this stuff past them.

Mhm...

well, if possible, you should change the coins to banknotes... Baluski has good point... (if you haven't sent it out already, the posts were a bit confusing there).

Also, you're right, your nutrition is your own responsibility, but well, I don't want people to have improper nutrition because they want to play here & get kyuubi+donation points ^^ .. you still need to grow ... to become a tall man women can adore ^^

lol I don't have much more growing left  :D
Anyway this will sound funny but I already sealed the envelope. It makes a very nice sound every time you rattle it though.
jshhh,jshhh.

it's heavy, be aware of the postage.

also... ^^ as I said, Baluski has a point...

oh, another thing: banks don't change coins ;) so I won't be able to change it to Euro...
(just remembered that)

Uuuuh I don't know if that is true are you sure this isn't a scheme to make me shange it to bills? I don't wanna rip open a perfectly good envelope :)

You want to put that much money at risk? Those coins are telling everyone "There's money in here! Come get me!". And what should Neji do if he really can change the coins to Euro?

Ask at a bank if they change foreign coins =) they won't.

I'd really appreciate it and also it would make your donation *much* safer.

Remember that old-fashioned tradition of writing letters and licking stamps? In case your correspondence these days is entirely electronic, here's a gentle reminder of how to mail a letter through the post office.

   Steps:
1.   Fold your letter, place it in an envelope, then lick and seal the envelope.

2.   Write the name of the letter's recipient on the front of the envelope at the center.

3.   Print the street address, including apartment or suite number if appropriate, on the next line below the name.

4.   Write the city, state and ZIP code on the next line. Use the two-letter state code if you know it.

5.   Print your own name and address in the upper left corner of the envelope.

6.   Affix one 34-cent stamp in the upper right corner for a regular-sized letter.

7.   Place the envelope in your mailbox.

8.   Raise the red flag on the mailbox, if there is one, to indicate that you have outgoing mail.

9.   Place the letter in a large blue mailbox with an earlier pickup time if you want the letter to be on its way sooner.

 Tips:
Make sure the envelope is sealed. If you're not sure, seal it with a short strip of clear tape.

If your envelope weighs more than 1 oz. or is being mailed outside the United States - or if it's larger than 6 1/8 inches by 11 1/2 inches by 1/4 inch - additional postage will be required. Use a small kitchen scale or postal scale to weigh the letter; you can find the correct rate at the U.S. Postal Service Web site (see Related Sites).

If you don't have a scale, take the letter to the post office to determine the correct postage if you're not sure.
