Final Fantasy XIV (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XIV) (a MMORPG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_role-playing_game)) is currently having a 14-day free trial (check the site linked above). If you're interested in giving it a try, I strongly recommend that you download the benchmark (listed below) to see first if your PC can run it (and how well).

Some restrictions apply:
- Characters cannot exceed level 20 for all classes (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Category:Classes).
- Gil (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Gil) that can be carried is capped at 20000.
- /shout, /yell, and /tell cannot be used. (Means you can't make zone-wide comments or privately message players)
- The Market Board cannot be used. (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Market_Board)
- Trades cannot be made. (Means nobody can gift you items or money, and neither can you)
- The Moogle Delivery Service cannot be used. (Means nobody can send you mail/archived messages, and neither can you)
- Retainers (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Retainer) cannot be used or hired.
- Linkshells (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Linkshell) cannot be created, but Free Trial users can join already existing linkshells.
- Free Trial users cannot join Free Companies (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Free_Company).
- Free Trial users cannot invite other players to their party. (Means only a non-trial player can invite you to their party)
- Free Trial users cannot recruit party members via the Party Finder. (Means you can't set up a recruitment notice for others to join your party)
- However, Free Trial users can be invited to parties and use the Duty Finder (http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Duty_Finder) feature. (in-game matchmaking system)
