To repeat from my previous post, *IF* we decide official warnings can be issued by any individual council member, a PM must be sent to all other council members about the warning that was issued.

I never received a Pm. Did any other council member?


Anyway...I think the warning being in recorded in the activity thread is a good idea too. As Jay says, it might be necessary to have a log of how many times the council has had to step in a deal with rule breaking.


I already sent out the PMs.
Convening a meeting to issue a warning seems silly considering we all can't be active as the others.

And a warning can only be issued when a rule is being blatantly ignored and violated, which in this scenario, it is. I'm not standing by while we continue to allow it to happen.

I issued a warning to Genesis for refusing to comply to the bijū rules that we were elected to enforce.

and GM's? I love we have them, but they were not created to be bijuu babysitters. But to encourage rp for the community...not just the 6 guys who like to fight over these beasts.

I always figured that the order of challenges would go right down the list.

If you keep track of these things in the official activity/preference thread...then there is a legit record of them.

when a match is over, post the result and announce you are ready to begin setting up the next match. pm that person on SL too. though it is their responsibility to be checking your thread.

but if you do not hear from that person in the 7 days...as stated is the time limit to set up a  match, certainly put that person at the bottom of the list, announce you are now moving to the next in line.

my thoughts on the matter...such as they are. I think that unless there is some question that needs council attention...then why go to them for everything if a rule already covers the issue at hand?

If/when a warning is given out...either individually or by council consensus...as is to be decided...

It should be stated that it is an official warning. Perhaps as a reply post to the Host's official activity/preference thread. Stating explicitly why one is issued.

why? well to avoid assumptions and misunderstandings and the failings of memory should the number of warnings ever become an issue.

As for my vote on the current matter. I would say add it to the rules. It's shown you can't do both in the manga, and a rule needs to be added as it is not common knowledge. You need mastery, or your biju has to be pretty pissed off at your opponent.

I don't agree that the rule should be applied to Rinnegan users, as they don't have evidence to support such a claim.

Edited some parts of Trev's post. The rest reflects my opinion on the matter.

If the terms metagaming and character control are defined in the rules, then the judges do not have to interpret that later.
Let's look at this from two view points:

1] The RP bijuu hunt planned out by two people who have already agreed to fight.
2] The RP bijuu hunt where the host is forced to face his challenger.

#1 is great. You have a timed rp, to promote rp and create storyline, then they fight by the rules of combat agreed upon ahead of time.

#2 is much more tricky. I would suggest an intent to hunt be posted to the activity thread. And that the host deal with the RP for each hunter on a first come first serve basis.

I think that other hunters should be able to find the host/summoner too. But have to post a valid reason why they wish to enter the hunt.

[Kayenta senses bijuu chakra out on the sands as the jinchuuriki is fighting a hunter. I request being allowed to enter the RP based on that clue. As evidence for my claim I state that she is a sensor, that she has sealed numerous bijuu in others during the past so can identify the beast. And she is iving in Suna and not on the other side of the world.

The people say...hey yeah that is right. But athos steps up and says, "WHOA....she moved to OTO. no way can she sense that going on.

Kay is denied entry to the rp and I cry for a week cause he was mean to me.]

To get your match or to see someone drawn and quartered.

Stop putting him on ignore and go set the match up in the bijuu thread...in public...

additionally. I have posted to the thread that Athos made to come and look at this response to the issue.

I have also posted to the 9 tails bijuu thread to bump it and prompt them to begin the public discussions in a polite...and I now add...and civil manner.

those are my thoughts on this issue. should a council majority decide otherwise we will have to deal with that then.

HOWEVER, while this issue has been brought to the attention of the council...the CLOCK on the time limit has been stopped.

A host cannot be expected to start a match on time while an issue about him/his beast/ his opponent is in the council awaiting a decision.

So...it really would be a lot quicker to just stop being this way and go talk in the thread rather than wait for the council to get together and talk about what to so and further delay this match from starting.

When the council agrees to issue an official warning...it will not come as Emily shouting int he night at everyone. It will be agreed upon and voted on by the council members.

And you will not when I was shouting at everyone and even mentioned a warming be issued, I included you Athos in that warning.

That being said, since we are going to quote me as THE authority on what to ASSUME is official...I also posted quite clearly on how to behave. Take some of that to heart too please.

Now...You can't put a host on ignore then bitch about a thing.

I want these discussions held in the 9 tails activity thread so that it acts as the Official log of everything concerning that bijuu.

Genesis is entitled to discuss voids, to have his one week to set up a match with you...but if you are ignoring him, then he cannot be held to blame for the fight not starting on time.

He has the right to discuss terms...and not be threatened with stripping on the basis of the match not staarting on time.

Do you want to fight him or just get a free bijuu based on technicalities?

I suggest you both go the 9 tails thread and comply with the public activity log and get this fight going within one week.

cooperation will go a long way toward getting anyone to listen.

Vote threads should remain open for a certain amount of time, one week was it?

Why? So all may have their opportunity to share their vote and their reasoning. And also, so no one accuses of someone else not "voting" because they weren't one of the four people who decided to post first...that would be ridiculous.

As a council, we should continuously anticipate problems, and figure out solutions before they occur.
