I think, personally, that depositing gems should be available in the banks, just as depositing gold is. It would merely be a sub-division of the bank's options, just adding gems to it. Deposit Gems, Withdraw Gems, Withdraw All Gems, Deposit All Gems.
I am sure I, and many others have run into several events where they were knack-sacked and was very upset about losing 1-8 gems, or so. So how about we just deposit our gems with a nifty new feature? The trick to this, naturally, would be that if you don't withdraw your gems before killing Orochimaru you lose 1/3 of them, but just as before you keep all gems on hand if you kill Orochimaru.
9 gems in bank --> Kill Orochimaru --> lose 3 gems
Rough rounding could be anticipated, too, naturally.
55 gems in bank --> Kill Orochimaru --> lose 18 gems

Let's say I had 500 gems, I wouldn't mind losing 1-7 through events before killing oro rather than running the risk of losing 150+ cause I didn't withdraw them.

It's in the suggestion box for a reason.
Personally I could easily remember gems, and I think it would really benefit people, especially lower ranking people, because they don't get 500+ gems that easily. Four gems is a lot to them, and they probably would hate losing one.

I am against storing gems in general...
and the chance to lose them when you simply forget withdrawing them is not really good :-/

I got an agreement :D

Really?
I guess I understand. Then how about not losing any at all? Because personally I would love to be able to store my gems; ration it out just like I do with gold. Though I don't really use gold. I mean, just to me, this seems quite helpful. That's just me. Or even convenient.

No.

Don't castles allow gem storage anyway?
