To answer your question.. No it would not.
1. If you throw an item or lose an item mid fight. it has been thrown and used... nothing is stopping you from picking it back up. Your opponent forgot about it? well that's on them but you just picked it back up. That's like your opponent dropping his sword.. nothing is stopping you from picking it up. Now lets say you do?
and their like well there are seals on it that prevent others from picking it up cause the'll get shocked and die....that's retro posting it's something that should have been explained when the weapon was first brought out.
An example of this is like when orchimaru used his grass cutter blade to kill the hokage. It was just left there and then BAM! >.> instant feels
2. For people that don't have a wiki... darn... that blows. Well ask your opponent via PM's that's why they are there. if you have a question ask is all i can say. I've had people ask me even though i have a wiki and ill explain it for them sometimes... sometimes ill point to the wiki.

@ Masane: For future reference (In my opinion) It's better to stop it mid post if possible then to wait for the whole thing.. You see an immediate error? Point it out don't let them finish the error. This way it's get corrected that much quicker. It's like you said "It was Stopped after"
It should have been stopped the moment it happened.
@Senju Just like i stated previously.. All eyes are on her and how she words it all and ahh the clan wars don't you just miss them?
Food for thought though on that example.

In there lies the problem, though why didn't you say anything at the moment it was impossible. It would have taken but a single minute to just jot down " Edo zombies can't even be in the human realm if they were in the shinigami's stomach" that single sentence would have frozen the whole RP either You or Ichi could have posted it just in a OOC fashion and it would have stopped everything, it wasn't until the signs of betrayal we're brought up that it was brought into question.

I'll be honest >.> straight up from the ground honest with you on how the situation looks right now. ( From my own opinion) Everyone is of course free to deny and or agree with any of it.
1. The RP was accepted by everyone.. (regardless of why be it lies or truth) and acted upon. The move even though incorrect and wrong was never corrected or stated upon.. so.. why try to use it as a defense later when it was accepted at face value. The Phrase im gonna use being: I'm gonna lay in the mud and play in it and then run to my mom and tell her they made me do it to avoid getting in trouble.
2. The situation your in (from my view point) Your character (Masane) Has no reason to not trust him.. I mean you've shown him trust and even at multiple points just gone along with what he was saying.. I don't think your character's would recognize a Sealing Seal that advanced? ( I could be wrong since your character could be a seal master?) but then that raises the question why would you character even gave them their hand in the first place which you did and quite freely before being betrayed..
3. To purpose a defense of I had a feeling, an assumption, or a quick something registered in her mind without ample date could and will probably be considered A metagaming post. (No offense to you) but you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar and their's 3 security cams and your mother watching you. You're gonna have to word it beyond right.
4. You both honestly should have said something from the moment he mentioned the Shingami and stopped the RP but didn't. If this is repeated i apologize but it's a big deal.
I personally have no distaste or hate towards you except an unfinished fight (Masane) as we're even hunting a beast together but this is sadly a brief occurrence and situation of an RP that shouldn't have happened, and should have been stopped or interrupted a whole lot sooner by either one of you but didn't.

@kage I understand it's lore that's twisted... But they never questioned it... That's the main problem they were fine with it all the way until it backfired even though they knew it was impossible.... The fact that you didn't even call it into question until after he was supposedly sucking up Masane... Is sort of bias.... Now hold on before you get unto bash Bryan with a hammer moment I'm just giving my opinion as you know I've agreed with a few things with you before but in this case it's just honestly unfair to just say let's void it... If you or anyone.. Chooses to ignore rules or correct descriptions of techniques to further there gain but then be disappointed when it doesn't work out... Well that's honestly karma... Now for all I know you just didn't see it till then and then said something (completely understandable) but the 3 people who were rping had already agreed and proceed with the rp until true ties were shown can't just be ignored.... Look at what happened when a situation like this happened earlier (Neala and Eric) thought it was random the Rp continued... Only in this case it's worse because they knew the technique wasn't right and didn't voice it.

Yeah, such lengths was really long and overdone.. but warren is right the Sealing-capture was a success so regardless... IF Masane is sealed/Captured then isn't Ichi.. either dead... or just not an edo anymore?

If that actually happened in the order it's says on here then in on all honesty im with Rusaku on this... They got tricked.... Their NINJA.... it's sorta stated their suppose to look underneath the underneath and see through deception.. it just sucks that they learned that through death..

Following through with kick he clashed with Athos's arms and felt the struggle that followed with pushing him off balance. Clearly he wasn't about to leave himself open as Athos Pushed his arms outwards and sent his leg up slightly his hands would begin to form air platforms upon which he pushed upwards on thus lifting his whole body up at a 180 degree angle Athos punch missing the previous position of his ribs but not one to try and overpower him he simply pushed off his hands and jumped higher into the air.
His restrains now gone easily showing the effect as he easily soared through the air before stopping on another air platform forming underneath his feet though tilted at slight acute angle so as to look down at him.
