F) I think we were at least partly trolled by the way this revelation played out...

What I learned:
1. Kurenai looks the same
2. Gai was in a team with Ebisu and Genma
3. Asuma was unrecognizable

It was cool getting to see everybody as little young 'uns, but yeah, it's kind of anti-climatic since people were speculating that it might be Obito from ages ago. AAAAAGES ago.
... and we still don't know what happened to Rin. Did she just die from old age? o.o

Loves how Obito hasn't grown any sense when he faught Minto up to now..... Also why couldn't the chakra from Kakashi's implanted eye be traced to Tobi sense he is Obito? Wasn't the implanted eye of Danzo noted to be belonging to someone the implanted byakugan user had fought before???? I'm throwing a VOID flag on this one....

Yeah, you'd think Hinata would have noticed Tobi and Kakashi have the same chakra coming out there heads.

Yeah, you'd think Hinata would have noticed Tobi and Kakashi have the same chakra coming out there heads.
But it's Hinata. She has potential badass-ness (or even usefulness in general), but does she use it? :roll:

I don't think Hinata was focusing on Kakashi during that one time they were all together and such.

Just a theory. But I always thought Zetsu might've found Obito, fused with him using a clone, the reason Obito grew his arm back during the fight with the 4th Hokage.
Obito killed Rin because she had a passion for kakashi over him.
I have other speculations, but I don't want to reveal them yet until Obito confirms my theory(s).

That would make me wonder thoug, who made Zetsu? He was constructed from the 1st DNA so did Madara make him? Also were does the black half of Zetse come from?

So did everyone, it required the barest brain functions of to figure it out, some of us HOPED that Kishi would have a good idea and make it someone else since now I'm sure a lot of people feel like they've wasted their time.

This entire chapter didn't make sense, I knew it when I saw Minato as Hokage.
I think with the up-coming chapters we'll get super trolled by Kishimoto into believing that it is Obito and it isn't thanks to Zetsu or maybe it'll switch to Madara and company, maybe a speech from him will fill in the plot holes.

I mean a basic ability children have is to completely shapeshift, we should take it within a grain of salt.

Truthfully, I don't know how to feel about this chapter. The fact that Tobi is Obito just feels out of character. Kakashi Gaiden showed us what a good-hearted person Obito was, and yet here he is trying to take over the shinobi world. He clearly wasn't evil back in the day, seeing as he went as far as to save Rin and give Kakashi his Sharingan. Nor did he have the skill at the point to go toe to toe with Minato. But although I am confused and a little sad that he his Obito, I feel there is room for this to be a good plot twist. Perhaps Madara somehow saved Obito and influenced him much in the way Tobi did Sasuke. If done the right way, I think this could work.
If anything, I found myself rereading Kakashi Gaiden and then this chapter. I really do love the story of a fallen hero. And I can only imagine the emotions Kakashi feels.

I don't think the original Tobi was Obito, the Tobi the fought Minato. Obito was the Tobi that joined Akatsuki physically after Sasori's death, but still the mastermind behind the Yagura and the Akatsuki organization as well.
Again, another of my theory's but the reason behind his good --> evil exchange still blinds my thought.
Edit: I believe Madara was the original Tobi, with the tiger mask and long hair and all...
