Council / Re: Requesting Council Action: Strip for Inactivity: Ryoji
« on: December 08, 2016, 05:08:19 AM »
Hi all! I'm getting a weird sense of Deja Vu here.

While I'm flattered that I literally have the nine tails (well, might) because of some rule, just know that I won't accept the nine tails like this. I want to win the nine tails due to my own ability and thought, not because of some stripping rule.

So, to whoever the council is, just know that I, the next challenger, wants to honor the challenge I made to Ryoji just like how he honored my challenge. That is all.

Now that's some genuine RP spirit. Kudos to you Gen.

Well, I would say there is enough positive response to constitute a vote perhaps. If this village defense idea is accepted, I feel we could then hash out the details that it would follow. I'm not sure of the formalities to go about voting, but I definitely would be for the system being in place.

I'm going to address this in kind of an informal matter so hopefully I'm not crucified for it.

First off, I think it would be a cool concept to throw Biju in the mix of this topic. What I mean by this is that a villages defenses would scale with the amount of Biju they laid claim to. Now before I'm shot down, just hear me out because it's just a casual little idea that came to mind.

If villages were given a base of 2 village defenses (As the maker of this thread described) and +1 for each Biju claimed by said region, it would give Villages more reason to pursue Biju; in turn this would promote activity. Also, I really like the thought of the parallel between villages fighting for power through hunting Biju on SL as they did, at one point, in the series. It would also seem that this would help mend the issue of villages claiming gross amounts of defenses.

Now, I realize there may be flaws in this idea that I'm not thinking of at the moment. However, to that I would just say that it's of course free to be criticized, constructively or otherwise.

Meh, I'm also willing to fight for it. Hoping for a tourney so I get the chance to fight some of the bijuu winners.

I vote against the DQ.

Bijuu Arena / Re: TheCurse vs Umehara Bijozakura - Shukkaku Challenge

Whether the woman would break out of the the Genjutsu or not would be beside the point. What did matter were the events prior to her breaking out; this being after the explosion of her armor would have triggered. The woman had fired off her first blast of her jutsu while being ensnared in the Genjutsu. As she fired “Blast after blast” in her Genjutsu state, it would mean the activation her Armor was merely a figment of the Genjutsu. As such, as the Tsunami of earth would collide with her defenseless form, she would be reduced to a chunky paste before Curse’s eyes. However, if somehow she would’ve formed her Armor it would also not matter. (As discussed) The Claymore Armor would activate in response to either contact with foreign Chakra or in reaction to damage of a piercing nature such as a sword or spear. However, this would not be the case for earth manipulated through means of the Gauntlet of Petrification as it transferred no such chakra, it only requiring focus and mastery; Curse having had this gauntlet for the better part of a decade with frequent training. In addition, the earth wall was blunt force by nature and not penetrating. As such, the fight was doomed the moment the Genjutsu was cast.
Curse, if successful, would lift the mass of earth from the sticky remains and shake his head at the sight, “To last as long as you did against someone like me, despite being mere seconds, is commendable in of itself. Goodbye.” And with those parting words, the Uchiha’s eyes would spin into the form of his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Without wasting anymore time, Curse would use Amaterasu to rid the surface of the bloody mess that remained. Turning around, the man would take his leave.

Curse would scoff as he brought his hands forward to form a set of seals, a blinding flash of light expelled from the Uchiha’s body in tandem to the offensive measure of the woman; this being the activation of her mud blast volley. This action would be done as a means to ensnare Ume in Raiton: Raigen Raikōchū; the illusion set showing Curse jumping and narrowly dodging the volley of Adhesive mud. In actuality, with the same motion as the hand signs done prior, Curse would had gestured his ring baring hand fiercely causing the midpoint between Curse in the opposition to erupt upward and form a swift tsunami of earth that would dwarf even the Sand Tsunami Technique; this intercepting the volley of adhesive mud (Or lack thereof depending on if her attack was halted from the Genjutsu). Due to the density of the earth and the amount thereof, the Tsunamis momentum would likely not be disturbed as it fell atop of Ume at a speed much faster than gravity would allow; this done by way of the gauntlets influence. However grand this would seem, the earth from Curse’s technique would have had to come from somewhere; this being focused from the ground beneath Ume in a strategic manner. The moment Curse’s attack would begin, a sudden large depression under Ume would form with the spread depth of about 8 feet; likely leading to a free fall. In addition, this depression itself would be sinking into another of its kind in scale of the fast growth of the tsunami. If the Tsunami were to collide with Ume, the force from the immense weight would of course Crush the Woman into paste. Furthermore, this attack of Curse would of course cause a large kick up of dirt from the ground, so much so that it would coat both combatants and the air effecting sight.

Curse would enter from the outskirts of the area; his ever active Sharingan shown in his eyes. The man would be clad in his standard ROOT leader attire complete with his ROOT mask on his head. As the man walked, scan the area in search of his opponent. Attached to the Uchihas back laid a custom made Gunbai, on his hips were two scrolls left dangling on each side of him, and on his hand he wore the Henged form of the Gauntlet of petrification; it in the form of a ring placed on the ring ringer of his left hand. After a period, Curse would spot the opposition and simply progress toward Her. If he is not interrupted by her action, he would stop short of an adjacent hill and call out to her, “You ready, woman.” He would say in a cold tone.

This thread hasn't been posted in a while but I still wanted to post.

Rai (Challenged more then 10 times and was never in the mood)

Mei (Same as above)

Skinless (Heard alot of him from a student he trained and I challenged him unfortunately after he had retired)

Rares (I'be fought him when I was scrub-ish but now I'm a breed apart)

That's about all I can remember at the moment.

Feature Requests / Re: Game Masters | Rp Mods
« on: November 07, 2015, 10:49:31 AM »
Should Rp mods/game masters be put into play. Yes or no and give constructive reasoning

I think gms would be a really good addition, but I agree with Kayenta in that they should be separate from mods and thus subject to mod decisions in rp like we all are. Someone would be great to have around in that sense, and especially if they can have access to do so on all of the boards instead of just one.

All of that ^

He does kinda just punch those fireballs out of the way. That is pretty weird.

With enough skill and chakra it's absolutely possible to knock fireballs out of the way akin to a Ki blast in dbz lol

I agree, I'm all for it. It'll be really useful.
