More than a year ago the Eternal Ninja was implemented into SL. While it's pretty dope for me to look at, I really wanna show boat the fact I'm an eternal ninja. Like, if I'm going to throw down *THAT* much dp, I want everyone to know I'm an eternal ninja. Please Neji, let me brag a bit.

I'm not asking for anything behind my name when I post (like the mods do), all I'm asking for is for a little snippet in our bio or the player list. Let me brag about my immortality, please?

Before I start, I want to apologize to this council for having to deal with my matter yet again. I know full well how pathetic this looks. Well, it is. The council is the council, not a bunch a parents...but it's starting to feel that way.

The problem: Athos does not wish to speak about voids and has ignored me. He will strip me as of tomorrow because he prematurely posted the fight thread immediately after it was ruled Synthesis could be used.

Disclaimer: Our judge (Trev) has claimed his authority is to only the fight itself, so he isn't involved in this matter.

I believe the problem stems from around a week ago. The moment the vote was passed that ruled that I was allowed to use Synthesis, Athos already made the fight thread (I was sorta at work). Now, Athos claims that because I didn't make preference thread, that it was too late to place voids. Of course, the reason I didn't even make that thread is because the council was taking their vote on if I was allowed to use Synthesis or not. Athos is the one that jumped the gun, not me.

But, this accusation is completely new to me because, at first, Athos was more than willing to talk about voids.

Now, in our full correspondence, I believe, I did not behave in any way to warrant an ignore. But, he ignored me on Monday. He also claimed that I'm attempting to kill time, but ironically, by ignoring me, time was killed anyway. He also claims that I was "complaining about everything he did" to get any move voided. Of course, this wasn't true as the only qualms I had with his whole move set was his "light style" and "Steel Wire" (the latter he did void). While I did bring a third matter, I immediately discarded it to focus on his light style.

Right before he ignored me, I only wanted him to specify what move he planned on using (his hirashin/impressing sounding sword) and if he could specify more about his prismatic wall considering the wiki page on it was beyond too vague. Long story short, I stuck to what I originally asked him about; I wasn't voiding everything in existence.

Multiple times during our correspondence, he told me to post before the deadline "was up". Of course, I never recognized this deadline in the first place due to him posting without agreeing to any initial terms.

So basically, he believes we're beyond talking about voids but I disagree. Also this non-existent timer is about to go off and he'll strip me of the bijuu, but the fight never started IMO. Also he ignored me two days ago, so I can't even resolve any of this.

Due to a certain someone being very vocal about it (and even threatening to strip the council of the gedo lol), for the very last time, I will call into session the bijuu council. This agenda is concerning the Gedo Mazo.

This is how all the tail beasts, except for the four tails, will be distributed:

For 1 week everyone has a chance to challenge for the bijuu of their choice.

One character per bijuu MAX. No NPCs. No ALTs.

• In the event two people challenge for the same bijuu, they will have a 1v1 fight and winner will be awarded the bijuu. In the case more than two people challenge for a bijuu, then a tournament style bracket will be issued, and the winner of said bracket will be awarded the bijuu.
• Challengers who's bijuu does not receive a challenge will face the bijuu (via GM) in 1v1 combat. Winfall must be achieved via seal, defeat, or incapacitation.
  
• Bijuu who do not receive a challenge in a one week time period will be set to roaming. They may be hunted by any group, village, individual, etc.
  
• Bijuu who's challengers who fail to capture them will be set to roaming as per above.

Disclaimer to Disclaimer: This post is very heavily biased if you couldn't tell.

SL sucks when it comes to a ton of stuff, but especially when it comes to time. Especially time. And I know for a fact there will never be an agreement on this.

The approach to many things on SL is "I'm doing me right now". So, if you want to do something, you just RP it and boom it happens to your character. It's very self-run. Which is the appeal of SL.

But, when it comes to time, being independent can't be a thing. According to the real world and the cannon world, time affects everything. No one is spared by it. I want to age my character. But it's going to be weird because there are people who have been the same age for past 8 years. If there's anything that I want the most, it's mandated age increments. 10 years have passed. Too bad, you can't be 18 for 5 years. That's right.  But that will never happen.

So far, I've been adding a year to Genesis around my birthday. (He's 23 and I'm 22)

But I'm doing this retirement angle and having a 23 year old retire doesn't seem right. So, I want to increase his age to 35. While 35 isn't old at all, atleast it's more "mature". But I hesitate to do this because it would be weird. Like, everyone I know would be the same age but I just became older out of no where. It makes sense for me because of the story I want to tell for my character, but it doesn't make sense with everyone I RP with because they aren't held to the same time standard that I am.

I'm probably going to do the time skip, but this is just something I've been thinking about and I just wanted to let it all out somewhere, so I let out here. If you agree with me, disagree, think I'm an idiot, etc., let me know! I want to read your folks thoughts on this.

Alright, I have two proposals. So if you want to shoot down my ideas in one thread, this is your chance. :P

First proposal:
Since I abuse the 'mass mail' function in my clan, of buddy of mine was complaining that he got a crap ton of mails after logging in after a break period (I send two mails within 15 days, sometimes 1 more than usual if something comes up). I wanna know if there is a way to filter mass mails from normal mails, or if there was a way allow individuals from clans to opt out from mass mails.

Second Proposal:
This one is more ambitious, but I think it would be cool but it might be alot to code. A tagging system. If some person was RPing on some other board, a board I probably won't frequent alot, they could tag my name in the RP like '@Genesis'. Think facebook. Once tagged, I would get a mail, saying I was tagged at 'so and so'.

This. This is an amazing addition to SL. I know you guys talk about added features to the MOTD, but there wasn't a peep about this one. I don't want to miss out on any other features you guys got in store for us, so atleast have a better changelog? This is more of a suggestion if anything. Please.

Preamble

During the course of Shinobi Legends' history, the site has been a source of happiness and many memories. Despite many players finding themselves wasting hours upon end in this domain, Shinobi Legends is not without faults. One of those faults being the "hands-off" approach for the roleplay side of SL from the owner of the said domain, for whatever intention. This leads many roleplayers to roleplay by their own set of rules; each individual, or group, creating their own "Rules of Roleplay".

The Problem

While there is nothing inherently wrong with a person or party creating their own rules, altercations occur when two (or more) roleplayers, each guided by different rules, interact with each other. In the plethora of situations that have occurred throughout the history of SL, many have argued, for or against, several interpretations of each person's "Rules of Roleplay".

While a few of these interpretations may have prevailed over others during the years, the lack of any real enforcement has reduced the caliber of such rules to mere "suggestions". Even when the overwhelming majority collectively agrees to a set of rules on a certain subject, the stubbornness and competitiveness of the minority, choosing not to abide by the rules proposed forth, strips the proposed rules of any true merit.

The Proposal

The following proposal seeks to fix the root of the problem by establishing a common "rules of roleplay". Since the authors of this document cannot enforce anything in the domain of SL, The Official Cannon Storyline, (OCS from here on out), is an 'OPT-IN' storyline/reality. Those who choose to opt-in subjugate themselves to the fundamental principles or established precedents set by the constitution of OCS (which has to be made).

OCS, despite its pretentious name, is an alternative reality within SL. Within this reality, whoever roleplays does so by a standard; a standard that is enforced by an elected moderation staff that is appointed by the players, for the players.

Simply put, all rules are made and evaluated by the community. The sole job of the moderation staff is to enforce the rules made by the community. If there ever comes a time where a moderator's interpretation of a rule deviates from the original intent of the rule-makers (the community), or another malicious reason, it is the duty of the community to impeach and replace the offending moderator.

While OCS is a separate reality from the 'standard' reality, which is the current SL, OCS does not intend to create two different worlds within the same domain. Instead, OCS seeks to mesh both realties while keeping its own core pillars intact. In the case of an OCS party interacting with another party that does not fall under OCS' jurisdiction, the interaction will be considered non-canonical, or simply put, 'filler'. By doing so, all roleplayers of SL can roleplay without worrying about infringing realties.

Conclusion

All principles and precedents, or rules, of OCS will not be set by this document, but rather by a Constitution set by the community of those who choose to opt in. This document is rather a proposal to create a more habitable roleplay environment wherein all can participate without worrying about the neglect of fundamental principles and established precedents.

It's simple question...can we have more clan ranks? And if you don't wanna go past 30, perhaps we do decimal numbers? Such as 20, 20.1, 20.2. Basically, I just want to enable more clan ranks above 20.

This might be an existential question or it might be able simple question. I've had a ton of free as of late and I was wondering this. Give me your thoughts, your theories.

I'm sorry if I'm getting annoying with the whole avatar thing, but this should be easy. I'm not asking for the dimensions to be expanded or anything, but just to allow me to weblink, just like what you do for avatars? I sorta wanna use a gif, but the file size limit is killing me.

I would ask for .gifv support...it's like Html5 stuff and what not, but that's harder lol. Just a simple weblink.

Do you know how in the villages we have the option to choose RP and OOC?

Well, I think it's amazing and I think it would be even more awesome if you brought that option to clans.

If your clan is not one of the major villages in RP, you sorta don't have a place to rp. To circumvent this, most people just RP in the clan halls...but it's mixed up with OOC stuff.

Basically, I'm asking if you can bring the RP and OOC option to clans.

I have posted the first thing of 2014...I did! That's right, me, myself, and I. Not you, me. Woot.

It is possible to make a mobile version of the mailbox? Super self-explanatory and it would be really convenient. The only thing I do *ON SL with my smartphone is to check my SL mailbox really and I'm pretty sure tons of people would love this too.
